Objective: To analyze respiratory syncytial virus(RSV) outbreaks surveillance results and the epidemiological characteristics in kindergarten and school in Shenzhen during 2017-2023 , so as to provide a scientific reference for control and prevention of RSV. Methods: Epidemiological data and surveillance results of RSV outbreaks in kindergarten and school from 2017 to 2023 were collected for descriptive analyses. Results: A total of 31 RSV outbreaks were identified in kindergarten and school in 2017-2023 in Shenzhen, 346 cases were reported, the average incidence rate was 22.02%. The most annual RSV outbreaks were reported in 2020 with 14 outbreaks, followed by 8 outbreaks in 2023. A total of 64.52% of RSV outbreaks were identified in kindergarten with rest occurring in primary school or middle school. The greatest monthly count of outbreak was 18 (58.06%) in September, followed by 3 outbreaks (9.68%) in March and October. A total of 244 swab samples were collected, 169 samples were positive for respiratory viruses, the positive rate was 69.26%, 121 samples were positive for RSV,from 31 respiratory syncytical virus outbreaks 57 and samples were positive for other respiratory viruses(9 samples were positive for two respiratory viruses). A toral of 14(45.16%) outbreaks are caused by RSV alone, 17 outbreaks (54.84%) were caused by RSV and other respiratory viruses. Conclusions Most RSV outbreaks in kindergarten and school are reported after 2020 in Shenzhen, most RSV outbreaks occur in kindergarten, peak seasons of RSV outbreaks are autumn and spring.

Objective: To apply network analysis for exploring the relationship of maltreatment experiences and peer relationships with school bullying among middle school students, so as to provide empirical evidences for the development of targeted intervention programs. Methods: From March to April 2024, a total of 2 119 middle school students aged 12-18 in Shantou City were selected through stratified cluster random sampling. Self administered questionnaire was used to collect data on bullying experiences, maltreatment, and peer relationships. The Glasso network model was employed to estimate network structure. Results: The strongest edge in the network of maltreatment experiences, peer relationships and school bullying was the connecting line connecting peer acceptance and peer terrorized low self esteem (edge weight=0.59) among middle school students. The network faked fraudulent victimization was the most central node in the whole network (strength=7.98). The bridge symptoms of the network were sexual abuse, property bullying of others, relational bullying victimization, and verbal bullying of others, with the strongest bridge node being sexual abuse (bridge strength=1.07). In the accuracy estimation of centrality indices, closeness centrality demonstrated the highest accuracy, followed by strength and betweenness, with coefficient of stability of 0.60, 0.44 and 0.21, respectively. The stability of the network was good. Conclusion Peer acceptance has the strongest correlation with peer fear and inferiority, and is closely related to emotional abuse and emotional neglect.

Objective:To study the quality and stability of commercial ready-to-use tryptone soya agar(TSA)after storing at 2-25 ℃ for different storage duration under dark condition in order to discuss a determination method of validity period for medium.Methods:Three consecutive batches of ready-to-use TSA medium from two manufac-turers were selected and stored at 2-25 ℃ under dark conditions for 30,90 and 180 days,respectively.The appearance,pH,medium suitability and sterility of the medium were tested.Results:The results of appearance,pH,suitability and sterility of TSA medium from two manufacturers for each batch under different storage duration all met the requirements of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2020 Volume IV on the quality control of medium.Conclusion:The TSA medium from two manufacturers all met the requirements when stored for 180 days at 2-25 ℃ under dark condition,indicating that the validity period of TSA medium from two manufacturers can reach 180 days.

Fibromyalgia syndrome （FMS） is a refractory， chronic non-articular rheumatic disease characterized by widespread pain throughout the body， for which there are no satisfactory therapeutic drugs or options. There are rich Chinese medical therapies， and some non-drug therapies， such as acupuncture， Tai Chi， and Ba-Duan-Jin， have shown satisfactory efficacy and safety and definite advantages of simultaneously adjusting mind and body. FMS is taken as a disease responding specifically to traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2018. In order to clarify the research progress in FMS and the clinical advantages of TCM/integrated Chinese and Western medicine， the China Academy of Chinese Medicine organized a seminar for nearly 20 experts in Chinese and Western medicine， including rheumatology， psychology， acupuncture and moxibustion， and encephalopathy， with the topic of difficulties in clinical diagnosis and treatment of FMS and advantages of TCM and Western medicine. The recommendations were reached on the difficulties in early diagnosis and solutions of FMS， mitigation of common non-specific symptoms， preferential analgesic therapy， TCM pathogenesis and treatment advantages， and direction of treatment with integrated Chinese and Western medicine. FMS is currently facing the triple dilemma of low early correct diagnosis， poor patient participation， and unsatisfactory benefit from pure Western medicine treatment. To solve the above problems， this paper suggests that rheumatologists should serve as the main diagnostic force of this disease， and they should improve patient participation in treatment decision-making， implement exercise therapy， and fully utilize the holistic and multidimensional features of TCM， which is effective in alleviating pain， improving mood， and decreasing adverse events. In addition， it is suggested that FMS treatment should rely on both TCM and Western medicine and adopt multidisciplinary joint treatment， which is expected to improve the standard of diagnosis and treatment of FMS in China.

Objective: To analyze the monitoring results and characteristics of human metapneumovirus (HMPV) outbreaks in Shenzhen in kindergartens and schools during 2017-2023, so as to provide a evidence for prevention and control of respiratory diseases. Methods: Based on the epidemiological data and laboratory test results of HMPV outbreaks in kindergartens and schools of Shenzhen during 2017 to 2023, collected from the influenza monitoring network platform, Mann Kendall test was applied for trend analysis pf HMPV. Results: A total of 11 HMPV outbreaks were identified in kindergartens and schools from 2017 to 2023 for 128 cases with an average incidence rate of 26.61% in 2018. The most yearly HMPV outbreaks were reported in 2020 being 4 outbreaks, followed by 2 outbreaks in 2018. A total of 72.73% (8 outbreaks) of HMPV outbreaks were identified in kindergartens with 27.27% (3 outbreaks) occurring in primary schools. The monthly greatest count of outbreak was 3(27.27%) in March and December, followed by 2 outbreaks (18.18%) in April and June. A total of 98 swab samples were collected, and 80 samples were positive for respiratory viruses with a positive rate of 81.63%; among them, 67 samples were positive for HMPV alone, 10 samples were positive for other respiratory viruses alone, and 3 samples were positive both for HMPV and other respiratory virus. Among the 11 human metalung virus cases, 6 HMPV outbreaks were caused by human metapneumovirus alone, and 5 outbreaks were caused by HMPV and other respiratory viruses. Except for 2020, the percentage of HMPV outbreaks in influenza like illness outbreaks increased with year ( Z=2.25, P =0.02). Conclusion HMPV outbreaks have been reported every year from 2017 to 2023 in kindergartens and schools in Shenzhen, most of HMPV in kindergartens, and the peak seasons of HMPV outbreaks are spring and winter.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy of Zishui Bugan decoction on perimenopausal insomnia of liver-kidney deficiency type and the safety. MethodA randomized， double-blind， placebo-controlled trial was designed. To be specific， 72 patients of perimenopausal insomnia with Liver-kidney deficiency were randomized into the treatment group and the control group at the ratio of 1∶1 and they were respectively treated with Zishui Bugan decoction and placebo for 3 weeks. The Pittsburgh sleep quality index （PSQI）， modified Kupperman index， traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） syndrome score， self-rating anxiety scale （SAS） score， and self-rating depression scale （SDS） score， were compared before and after treatment to determine the clinical efficacy， with adverse effects recorded. ResultThe total effective rate for insomnia was 85.3%（29/34） in treatment group and 17.6%（6/34） in control group（Z=-5.582，P<0.01）. After treatment， PSQI score， modified Kupperman index， TCM syndrome score， and SAS score were improved in both groups （P<0.05， P<0.01）， particularly the treatment group which showed significant difference from the control group （P<0.05，P<0.01）. The safety indicators were insignificantly different between two groups before and after treatment. No related adverse effects were reported in both groups during the treatment. ConclusionZishui Bugan decoction can improve the sleep quality and alleviate the menopausal symptoms， such as depression and anxiety， which shows ideal efficacy and safety for the perimenopausal insomnia with liver-kidney deficiency type.

Objective:To systematically review risk factors for prolonged postoperative ileus (PPOI) in colorectal surgery patients.Methods:Researches related to the influencing factors of PPOI in patients undergoing elective colorectal surgery were retrieved by computer in PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, Medline, China Biomedical Literature Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, WanFang Data and VIP. The retrieval time limit was from the establishment of the database to August 1, 2021. Two researchers screened article, extracted data, and evaluated the quality of the article. Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.3 software.Results:A total of 21 articles were included. Meta-analysis results showed that the influence factors for PPOI in patients with colorectal surgery included gender [ OR=1.70, 95% confidence interval ( CI) : (1.55, 1.87) , P<0.001], smoking history [ OR=1.56, 95% CI: (1.30, 1.86) , P<0.001], chronic obstructive pulmonary disease [ OR=1.60, 95% CI: (1.52, 1.68) , P<0.001], hypertension [ OR=1.64, 95% CI: (1.03, 2.62) , P=0.04], diabetes [ OR=1.27, 95% CI: (1.09, 1.48) , P=0.002], history of abdominal surgery [ OR=2.15, 95% CI: (1.55, 2.98) , P<0.001], surgical site [ OR=1.40, 95% CI: (1.09, 1.81) , P=0.009], surgical method [ OR=0.43, 95% CI: (0.29, 0.62) , P<0.001], surgery time [ OR=1.18, 95% CI: (1.15, 1.22) , P<0.001] and intraoperative blood loss [ OR=1.77, 95% CI: (1.15, 2.71) , P=0.009]. Conclusions:The occurrence of PPOI in patients with colorectal surgery is affected by multiple factors. It is recommended that medical and nursing staff identify the risk factors of PPOI in a timely and accurate manner, and actively take measures to prevent the occurrence of PPOI and reduce the incidence of PPOI in patients.

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect and satisfaction of partially edentulous patients restored with posterior implant-supported single crown by digital impression technique and traditional silicon rubber impression, in order to provide clinical reference.Methods:Sixty-four partially edentulous patients who visited the Department of Prosthodontics, Guanghua School of Stomatology, Hospital of Stomatology, Sun Yat-sen University between March 2018 and January 2021 were enrolled. There were 31 male and 33 female, and the age of the group of patients was (49.3±13.3) years. The 113 implants placed in this group of patients were divided into digital impression group ( n=70) and silicone rubber impression group ( n=43) according to different impression techniques, and were restored with screw-retained full zirconia single crown, and the patients were followed up for 3-36 months after treatment. The implant survival rate, upper prosthesis, peri-implant soft tissue status, marginal bone loss and patients satisfaction were recorded to evaluate the clinical effects of two impression techniques in posterior implant-supported single crown. Results:In sixty-four patients, digital impression accounted for 62% (40/64), and silicon rubber impression accounted for 38% (24/64), the survival rate of 113 implants was 100% (113/113). The prevalence of interproximal contact loss, food impaction and mechanical complication of the upper full zirconia single crown restorations were 22.7% (41/181), 8.0% (9/113) and 2.7% (3/113) separately. All the mechanical complications were abutment screw loosening. All patients maintained good oral hygiene status, the incidences of peri-implantitis and peri-implant mucositis were 0.9% (1/113) and 4.4% (5/113) respectively. The marginal bone loss was (0.24±0.11) mm. The median of satisfaction visual analogue scale score in patients was 9-10, but no statistically significant differences of all the above results were observed between the two impression techniques ( P>0.05). Conclusions:The clinical effect of partially edentulous patients restored with posterior implant-supported single crown using two different impression techniques is good and the satisfaction of patients is high, but the long-term clinical effect remains to be further observed.

Objective: To investigate the value of transrectal ultrasonography(TRUS) in the preoperative diagnosis and tumor T-staging of anorectal malignant melanoma(ARMM). Methods: The clinical and ultrasound data of 19 patients(22 lesions) with ARMM confirmed by pathology from February 2008 to Apirl 2019 in Fujian Medical University Affiliated Union Hospital were collected. TRUS was performed within one week before pathological examination. The sonographic features were summarized, ultrasonic typing was performed according to the lesion size and growth pattern, and the accuracies of preoperative ultrasound diagnosis and tumor staging were analyzed. Results: Among the 22 lesions, 63.64%(14/22) were with a distance of ≤3 cm between the anal verge and the lower margin of tumor, 68.18%(15/22) with regular shape, 81.82%(18/22) with clear boundary, and 63.64%(14/22) with Adler blood flow grading from Ⅱ to Ⅲ. The preoperative TRUS diagnostic coincidence rate was 73.68%(14/19), and the tumor T-staging accuracy was 75%(12/16), respectively. Conclusions TRUS exhibits certain sonographic characteristics, with high preoperative diagnosis rate and tumor T-staging accuracy in anorectal malignant melanoma, which is of great guiding significance for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Objective: To explore the genes that may be regulated by cell division cycle 25A (CDC25A) with gene chip technology, and to elucidate and verify that CDC25A has a regulatory effect on the expression of liver cancer related genes. Methods: CDC25A expression in human liver cancer HepG2 cells was silenced by siRNA interference technology and a nude mouse xenograft model of liver cancer was successfully constructed in our previous research. Affymetrix human gene expression profiling microarray was used to further screen differentially expressed genes (DEGs) after silencing CDC25A in liver cancer xenografts, and GO analysis and KEGG analysis were performed. Some of the DEGs were verified by qPCR. Results: The chip screened 188 DEGs in liver cancer xenograft tissues after CDC25A silence, including 78 up-regulated genes and 110 down-regulated genes. These DEGs mainly involved in cell proliferation, apoptosis, protein complex binding, extracellular space, etc., and associated with the changes in pathways such as focal adhesions and extracellular matrix (ECM) receptor interactions. qPCR showed that the expression of HIPK2 mRNA was up-regulated and the mRNA expressions of (microfibrillar-associated protein 5(MFAP5) and cyclin D1 (CCND1) were down-regulated, which were consistent with the results of microarray detection. Conclusion: Using human gene expression profiling chip, the DEGs in liver cancer xenograft tissues in nude mice after silencing CDC25Awere successfully screened, providing effective clues for exploring the effect of CDC25Aon the growth of liver cancer.
