BackgroundAdolescents with depressive disorder often engage in non-suicidal self-injury （NSSI） behaviors， which severely impacts their physical and mental health. Impulsivity and emotional regulation are key factors influencing NSSI behaviors. However， research on the mechanisms through which impulsivity and emotional regulation affect NSSI behaviors in adolescent depressive disorder patients with NSSI remains insufficient， limiting the development of effective intervention strategies. ObjectiveTo explore the differences in impulsivity and emotion regulation abilities between adolescent patients with depressive disorder accompanied by and without NSSI behaviors， and to analyze the association between NSSI behaviors and impulsivity and emotion regulation abilities in adolescent patients with depressive disorder accompanied by NSSI behaviors. MethodsA total of 184 adolescents hospitalized in the child and adolescent psychiatry department of Wuxi Mental Health Center from October 2023 to August 2024， who met the diagnostic criteria for depressive disorder according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders， fifth edition （DSM-5）， were consecutively enrolled as study subjects. Based on the diagnostic criteria for NSSI in DSM-5， patients were divided into NSSI group （n=108） and non-NSSI group （n=76）. The Barratt Impulsiveness Scale-11 （BIS-11）， the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire （ERQ）， the Adolescent Self-Harm Questionnaire， and the Positive and Negative Suicide Ideation （PANSI） were used for assessment. Spearman correlation analysis was employed to explore the correlation between the scores of the Adolescent Self-Harm Questionnaire and the scores of BIS-11 and ERQ in the NSSI group. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the effects of impulsivity and emotion regulation on NSSI behaviors in the NSSI group. ResultsCompared to the non-NSSI group， the NSSI group showed significantly higher scores in BIS-11 non-planned impulsivity （Z=-4.181， P<0.05）， action impulsivity （t=4.944， P<0.05）， cognitive impulsivity （Z=-3.392， P<0.05）， and total score （t=4.763， P<0.05）， and lower scores in the cognitive reappraisal of ERQ （t=-4.094， P<0.05） and total score （Z=-2.299， P<0.05）， and higher scores in the expression inhibition of ERQ （Z=-3.019， P<0.05）. The correlation analysis results showed that the score of the adolescent self-harm questionnaire in the NSSI group was positively correlated with the behavioral impulsivity factor score in the BIS-11 （r=0.434， P<0.05）. Multiple regression analysis indicated that action impulsivity factor was a significant correlate of self-injury behaviors in the NSSI group （B=0.855， P<0.05）， explaining 22.30% of the total variance. ConclusionAdolescent patients with depressive disorder accompanied by NSSI behaviors exhibit higher levels of impulsivity and poorer emotional regulation abilities. ObjectiveTo explore the vascular endothelial injury in male mice caused by exposure to polystyrene microplastics （PS-MPs） and the intervention effect of luteolin on vascular remodeling. Additionally， to investigate the mechanism through the oxidative system and metabolomics. MethodsThirty-two C57BL/6 mice （6-8 weeks old） were randomly divided into the saline group （saline group）， the 0.1 mg/kg PS-MPs exposure group （0.1PS-MPs group）， the 1 mg/kg PS-MPs exposure group （1PS-MPs group）， and the 1 mg/kg PS-MPs + luteolin treatment group （1PS-MPs + Lut group）， with 8 mice in each group. After 8 weeks of intervention， the body weight， blood pressure， aortic organ coefficient， and aortic histopathological changes of mice in each group were detected； the total cholesterol （TC）， triglyceride （TG）， and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol （HDL-C） lipid metabolism-related indicators in the aorta of mice were detected； the reactive oxygen species （ROS）， glutathione （GSH）， and malondialdehyde （MDA） oxidative stress-related indicators were detected； the endothelin （ET-1）， nitric oxide （NO）， vascular endothelial growth factor A （VEGF-A）， vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 （VCAM-1/CD106）， and intercellular adhesion molecule-1 （ICAM-1/CD54） endothelial function-related indicators and serum metabolomics were detected. ResultsCompared to the saline group， exposure to PS-MPs resulted in pathological thickening of the mouse aorta， increased aortic organ coefficient， and elevated blood pressure. Lipid metabolism-related indicators， including TC and TG， were elevated， while HDL-C was reduced， indicating lipid metabolism disorder in mice. Oxidative stress markers such as ROS and MDA increased， whereas GSH decreased， demonstrating oxidative damage. Vascular endothelial inflammation and injury markers， including ET-1， VEGF-A， VCAM-1， and ICAM-1， were upregulated， while the vasodilatory substance NO was downregulated， confirming endothelial injury. Furthermore， serum metabolomics results revealed that PS-MPs exposure induced endothelial damage by disrupting metabolic pathways such as the citrate cycle. Compared to the PS-MPs group， luteolin significantly reversed these effects， attenuating oxidative stress and lipid metabolism disorders， and effectively repairing endothelial injury. ConclusionPS-MPs induce vascular toxicity through oxidative stress and lipid metabolism. Luteolin effectively alleviates endothelial damage and vascular remodeling.

Those with a ≥30% reduction in their Numeric Rating Scales (NRS) scores after 2 weeks of treatment were termed Responders ( n=36), with the others classified as non-responders ( n=53). Demographic data (gender, education level, age), SCI characteristics (injury etiology, injury severity, neurological injury level, injury duration), NP characteristics (pain type, pain intensity, analgesic use), functional assessment (Modified Ashworth Scale score, Spinal Cord Independence Measure score, Modified Barthel Index score, American Spinal Injury Association motor/sensory score) were collected. Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression was used for variable selection, followed by binary logistic regression to identify factors associated with treatment efficacy. Results:Among the 89 patients, 36 (40.4%) were Responders to high-frequency rTMS. Binary logistic regression revealed that those with a cervical spinal cord injury and/or spasticity and women were more likely to respond to high-frequency rTMS.Conclusions:Female gender, cervical spinal cord injury, and spasticity are independent factors predicting rTMS efficacy in treating SCI, with spasticity demonstrating the strongest association.

Objective:To understand the burden of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and its risk factors in Fujian Province during 1990-2019.Methods:Based on the Global Burden of Disease Study 2019, the incidence rate, mortality rate and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) of CKD in Fujian from 1990 to 2019 were calculated. An age-period-cohort model was used to estimate the effects of age, period, and cohort on age-standardized incidence rate (ASIR), age-standardized mortality rate (ASMR), and age-standardized DALY rate (ASDR) of CKD. Comparative risk assessment theory was used to calculate the potential attributable DALYs due to risk factors.Results:In 2019, the ASIR of CKD in Fujian exceeded the national average. The ASIR of CKD showed an increasing trend from 1990 to 2019, but the ASMR and ASDR of CKD exhibited decreasing trends during the same period. In 2019, the ASIR of CKD was higher in women than in men, while the ASMR and ASDR were higher in men than in women. Age-period-cohort analysis indicated that ASIR, ASMR, and ASDR of CKD increased with age. The period effect for ASIR decreased first before increase, while the period effect for ASMR and ASDR displayed fluctuating trends. The cohort effect showed an upward trajectory for ASIR, but a stable status before downward trajectories for ASMR and ASDR. Compared with 1990, except the increase in the ASDR of CKD attributed to high BMI and high temperatures, the ASDR of CKD attributed to other risk factors all showed decreases in 2019. However, the ASDR attributed to high sodium intake remained higher compared with the global average.Conclusion:The burden of CKD remains heavy in Fujian, and it is necessary to reduce the attributable risk factors, such as high sodium intake and high BMI, to address this problem.

Objective To investigate the mechanism of astragalus polysaccharide(APS)in inhibiting the proliferation and metastasis of osteosarcoma cells.Methods Cell counting kit-8(CCK8)assay was used to detect the inhibitory effect of APS on the proliferation of osteosarcoma cell lines U2OS,HOS,MG63 and osteoblast cell line hFOB1.19,the cell line with the most significant inhibitory effect of APS on osteosarcoma cells was selected for subsequent experiments.Osteosarcoma cells were divided into control group(NC group),APS group,APS+sh-SP1 co treatment group with transfected SP1 knockdown plasmid(APS+sh-SP1),and APS+oe SP1 co treatment group with transfected SP1 overexpression plasmid(APS+oe SP1 group).Western blotting was used to detect the expression of SP1 protein in each group.CCK8 assay was used to detect the proliferation ability of each group.Transwell assay was used to detect the metastatic ability of cells in each group.TOP/FOP Flash assay was used to detect the activity of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.The protein expressions of Wnt3a,β-catenin,CyclinD1,cMYC,matrix metalloproteinase 2(MMP2)and Snail were detected by western blotting.Result After 48h of APS treatment,the cell proliferation inhibition rates of osteosarcoma cells U2OS,HOS,MG63 and osteoblast cells hFOB1.19 were 62.93%±4.79%,20.66%±1.10%,39.31%±3.20%and 5.97%±0.72%,respectively.Compared with osteoblast hFOB1.19,APS significantly inhibited the proliferation of osteosarcoma cells,and the difference was statistically significant(F=208.400,P<0.001),and the inhibitory effect on osteosarcoma U2OS cells was the most significant(t=20.380,P<0.001).Compared with NC group,SP1 protein expression,cell proliferation ability,number of transmembrane cells,Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway activity in cells,Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway key proteins Wnt3a,β-catenin,downstream proliferation-related protein CyclinD1,cMYC,and downstream metastasis related proteins MMP2 and Snail in the APS group were decreased,and the differences were statistically significant(t=9.740～90.780,all P<0.05).Compared with the APS group,the expression of SP1 protein,cell proliferation ability,the number of transmembrane cells,the activity of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and the expression of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway related proteins in the APS+sh-SP1 group were further decreased,and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.032～12.940,all P<0.05).Compared with the APS group,the expression of SP1 protein,cell proliferation ability,the number of transmembrane cells,the activity of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and the expression of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway related proteins in the APS+oe-SP1 group were increased,and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.350～22.450,all P<0.05).Conclusion APS inhibits the proliferation and metastasis of osteosarcoma cells by targeting SP1/Wnt/β-catenin signaling axis.

Deep proximal lesions with significant defects and subgingival margins exceeding cementoenamel junction are common clin-ical scenarios.With the development of materials and bonding dentistry,along with the popularization of the concept of minimally inva-sive dentistry,deep margin elevation is becoming an option for its minimal invasion and less time-consuming.Even though deep margin elevation seems a valuable technique,clinicians have not extensively applied it limited to its technical sensitivity.Current research is mainly in vitro and lacks high-quality clinical randomized controlled trails,or even standardized clinical process.This review summari-zes the concept,procedure and clinical performance of deep margin elevation.

Objective Based on the holistic view of traditional Chinese medicine,a more objective and comprehensive quality evaluation model for Huangjing Dami pills was established by combining external traits and internal qualities,and was applied to the optimization of the prescription process to verify its feasibility and applicability,so that it can provide reference for the optimization of the preparation process of other honey pills.Methods The texture characterization information of Huangjing Dami pills was collected based on the texture meter,and the water content and chemical composition information were collected based on the 2020 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia.Given that the hardness and other texture characterization indexes are moderate indexes,the quality evaluation model established by the polar value method and principal component analysis(PCA)was used to quantify the values of the characterization evaluation indexes,which can be used to screen the significance of the influencing factors in the Plackett-Burman(PB)test;The quality evaluation model based on the optimal value method,the polar value method and the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)-CRITIC method was used to characterize the quantification of the actual values of the evaluation indexes,and it can be used to optimize the process and derive the optimal process parameters for the steepest hill-climbing test,the response surface test and the validation test.Results The quality evaluation model based on the extreme value method-PCA was used in the PB test to screen out the three significant influencing factors of the ratio of honey to medicine,drying temperature and mesh number;the quality evaluation model based on the optimal value,extreme value method-AHP-CRITIC method was used in the steepest climb test,response surface test and validation test,which resulted in the optimal prescription process parameters of Huangjing Dami pills,namely,the ratio of medicine to honey was 1:0.64,the honey temperature was 60℃,the mesh number was 100 mesh,the drying temperature was 50.8℃,the drying time was 3 h,the sweating time was 1 day.Conclusion It was verified that the feasibility and applicability of the qualitative attributes guiding the optimization of prescriptions,and that the established quality evaluation model could guarantee the quality of the final product by taking into account the physical attributes and the chemical attributes during the optimization of the prescription,which showed a better prospect of application in the optimization of the process of honey pills and the method for the evaluation of the quality of honey pills preparation.

Liumotang comes from the Yuan dynasty's Effective Prescription Handed Down for Generations of Physicians. It is composed of six medicinal materials： Arecae Semen， Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum， Aucklandiae Radix， Linderae Radix， Rhei Radix et Rhizoma， and Aurantii Fructus. It is a classical formula for treating abdominal pain due to Qi stagnation and constipation accompanied by heat. This study systematically collated the records of Liumotang in ancient medical books and modern clinical literature and conducted in-depth analysis and textual research on its formula source， main diseases， composition， dosage， medical books， container capacity， processing， preparation method， usage， drug basis， formula meaning， and other key information， so as to provide a powerful reference for the development and clinical application of compound preparations of the classical formula Liumotang. The results show that Liumotang was first seen in Effective Prescription Handed Down for Generations of Physicians， and many medical books of the past dynasties have imitated this. In terms of drug basis， the dried and mature seeds of the palm plant Areca catechu， resin-containing wood of the Daphneaceae plant Aquilaria sinensis， the dried roots of the Asteraceae plant woody Aucklandia lappa， the dried tuber root of the Lauraceae plant Lindera aggregata， the dried roots and rhizomes of the knotweed plant， R. palmatum， R.tangutikum， and R. officinale， and the dried and unripe fruits of the citrus genus C. aurantium and its cultivated varieties from the family Rutaceae were selected. In terms of dosage， through the textual research on bowls in the Ming and Qing dynasties， combined with the conversion of medicines and bowl capacity in the Qing dynasty， it was estimated that the dosage of each drug in the Yuan dynasty was 10.86 g. In the Ming and Qing dynasties， the dosage of drugs was mostly equal， but the dosage of drugs was somewhat different. In terms of processing， preparation method， and usage， in the medical books of the past dynasties， the processing of drugs has slightly changed， but raw drugs are used in all preparations. The preparation method and usage did not change much during the Yuan， Ming， and Qing dynasties， except for certain differences in dosage. In terms of syndrome， Liumotang was first used to treat abdominal pain due to Qi stagnation and constipation accompanied by heat. Medical books of the past dynasties often omit the symptoms of heat. In modern clinical practice， Liumotang is mainly used in the digestive system and urinary system diseases and is mostly used to treat constipation-predominant irritable bowel syndrome， biliary reflux gastritis， functional constipation， slow transit constipation， and other diseases， with no adverse reactions found yet. The above results provide a reliable scientific basis for the development and clinical treatment of Liumotang compound preparations.

BACKGROUND:Fixed-point rotation manipulation of cervical spine is a mechanical operation with high technical requirements,but the biomechanics of fixed-point manipulation of cervical spine still lacks relevant quantitative data.Moreover,the research on the influencing factors of cervical fixed-point rotation manipulation includes many parameters and there are differences,so it is necessary to further analyze its influencing factors to improve its related data. OBJECTIVE:To quantify the biomechanical parameters of cervical spine fixed-point rotation manipulation,explore the correlation between different biomechanical parameters,and the influence of individual characteristics of the subjects on the biomechanical parameters of cervical spine fixed-point rotation manipulation. METHODS:Totally 35 cases of cervical spondylosis were Outpatients from Orthopedic Department of Renai Branch of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine and selected as the subjects investigated.Wearable mechanical measuring gloves were used to collect biomechanical parameters of cervical spine fixed-point rotation manipulation,including:thumb preload,thumb maximum thrust,palm preload,palm wrench force,and palm wrench maximum force.Personal characteristic parameters were collected,including age,height,weight,and neck circumference.The key biomechanical parameters in the process of cervical spine fixed-point rotation manipulation were analyzed and different individual characteristics were quantified.The results of biomechanical parameters were analyzed using Spearman correlation analysis.The possible effects of different individual characteristic parameters on biomechanics were analyzed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)Compared with bilateral mechanical parameters,there was no significant difference between left manipulation and right manipulation(P>0.05).(2)The average of thumb preload force was(7.21±1.19)N;the average of thumb maximum thrust was(28.40±4.48)N;the average of palm preload was(5.67±2.49)N;the average of palm wrench force was(10.90±5.11)N,and the average of palm wrench maximum force was(16.00±7.27)N.(3)There was a significant positive correlation between palm preload and palm wrench force(Rs=0.812,P<0.01).There was a significant positive correlation between palm preload and palm wrench maximum force(Rs=0.773,P<0.01).There was a significant positive correlation between palm wrench force and palm wrench maximum force(Rs=0.939,P<0.01).(4)The weight was positively correlated with thumb preload,palm preload,palm wrench force and palm wrench maximum force(P<0.05).(5)These findings confirm that there is a certain biomechanical standard value in the operation of cervical spine fixed-point rotation manipulation to treat cervical spondylosis.There is no significant difference between the left and right manipulations,which indicates that the manipulation has good consistency and repeatability.There is consistency and coordination among palm preload force,palm wrench force,and palm wrench maximum force.Their contributions to the therapeutic effect are similar.Body weight is an important factor affecting cervical spine fixed-point rotation manipulation.
