The ocean plays a critical role in the global carbon cycle,and base on the"dual carbon"goals,ocean carbon sinks have received widespread attention.Shellfish aquaculture is one of the most important sources of carbon sinks in fisheries,which has an important impact on the offshore carbon cy-cle.As global temperature rises and ocean acidification intensifies,the capacity of the ocean to absorb CO2 will change.However,the effects of high temperature on the physiology and transcriptome related to carbon metabolism in Mytilus coruscus are not clear enough.This study investigated the effects of high temperatures on the total carbon content,carbon metabolism,antioxidant-related enzyme activities,and the transcriptome of Mytilus coruscus.The results showed that high temperature significantly inhibited the activities of hexokinase and pyruvate kinase,increased carbonic anhydrase activity(P＜0.05),de-creased the ATP content of digestive glands(P＜0.05),and affected glycolysis and the tricarboxylic acid cycle,leading to a significant decrease in the mussel's ability to sequester carbon.High temperature re-sulted in significant(P＜0.05)increases in the levels of reactive oxygen species and malondialdehyde,and enhanced the activities of superoxide dismutase and catalase.Observations by transmission electron microscopy showed that high temperatures damaged the subcellular structure of the digestive gland in Mytilus coruscus,resulting in the shrinkage of the nucleolus,swelling of the endoplasmic reticulum,and a significant reduction in the mitochondrial cristae.Comparative transcriptomic analysis showed that the upregulated DEGs were mainly enriched in protein processing in the endoplasmic reticulum,antigen pro-cessing and presentation,and MAPK signaling pathway.The downregulated DEGs were mainly enriched in necroptosis,DNA replication,and the NF-kappa B signaling pathway.In antioxidant-related DEGs,the upregulated DEGs include vitamin K epoxide reductase,peroxidases,heat shock protein 105 kD,heat shock protein 70 kD,and superoxide dismutase;The downregulated DEGs mainly included NADPH oxidase,glutathione reductase,cytochrome b-245,cytochrome P450,and quinone reductase.The up-regulated genes enriched in the carbon metabolism pathway included chitinase,phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase,phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase,galactokinase,and inositol trisphosphate 3-kinase.The downregulated genes included aldose-1-epimerase,carbonic anhydrase,galactose mutaro-tase,acyl-CoA synthetase,alcohol dehydrogenase,and hexokinase.In conclusion,high temperature has an inhibitory effect on the activities of enzymes and the expression of genes related to carbon metabolism in Mytilus coruscus.The results of this study are intended to provide a scientific basis for the healthy de-velopment of mussel aquaculture and the assessment of carbon sinks.

Objective This study aims to develop a guideline for assessing and maintaining intrinsic capacity in older adults,offer recommendations to professionals regarding these assessments,and encourage the implementation of evidence-based clinical practices across various settings,including communities,hospitals,nursing homes,and other geriatric care environments.Methods An evidence-based approach guided the collection of questions through a lit-erature review.Preliminary recommendations were developed through a systematic search of domestic and interna-tional guideline networks,professional association websites,and comprehensive databases.Subsequently,the recom-mendations were revised,and the consensus was achieved through a round of expert consensus meetings and 3 rounds of expert correspondence,culminating in the formation of the guidelines.Results The developed guideline encompasses 2 aspects and 5 dimensions of assessment and maintenance,comprising a total of 28 questions and 39 recommendations.Specifically,6 questions and 9 recommendations were formulated for the cognitive dimension,5 questions and 7 recommendations for the locomotion dimension,6 questions and 7 recommendations for the vitality dimension,6 questions and 9 recommendations for the psychological dimension,and 5 questions and 7 recommenda-tions for the sensory dimension.Among these,34 are classified as strong recommendations,while 5 are categorized as weak recommendations.Conclusion The guideline offers scientifically robust,acceptable,and comprehensible rec-ommendations that equip the professionals with a foundation for decision-making aiming at preserving the intrinsic capacity of older adults.

Objective To explore the application effect of immersive virtual reality(IVR)technology and different viewing content in pediatric patients with general anesthesia during elective surgery,and to provide references for clinical implementation.Methods A total of 180 pediatric patients who underwent elective surgery under general anesthesia in a tertiary hospital in Qingdao from February to October 2023 were selected as study population using convenient sampling method.According to the operation time,60 pediatric patients who underwent surgery from May to July 2023 were included in the immersive panoramic surgical education group,and they could watch the panoramic surgical education video immersively on the basis of routine care.A total of 60 pediatric patients who underwent surgery from August to October 2023 were included in the immersive animation group to watch cartoons immersively on the basis of routine care.A total of 60 pediatric patients who underwent surgery from February to April 2023 were included in the control group and routine preoperative care was implemented.The preoperative anxiety levels,anesthesia induction compliance,and incidence of emergence agitation were compared in the 3 groups by the modified Yale Preoperative Anxiety Scale-Short Form(mYPAS-SF),anesthesia induction cooperation grade,and the Pediatric Anesthesia Emergence Delirium scale(PAED).Results There were statistically significant differences in preoperative anxiety level,anesthesia induced compliance and incidence of emergence agitation during awakening between the 3 groups(P＜0.001).Among them,the preoperative anxiety level of the immersive panoramic surgical education group and the immersive animation group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.001).The anesthesia induced compliance degree of the immersive panoramic surgical education group and the immersive animation group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.017),and the incidence of emergence agitation in the immersive panoramic surgical education group was lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.004).Conclusion The use of IVR technology to watch panoramic surgical education videos and cartoons can help reduce the preoperative anxiety level and improve anesthesia induction cooperation degree of pediatric patients with general anesthesia during elective surgery,but the intervention effect of panoramic surgical education videos is better in improving the emergence agitation.

Objective To evaluate the clinical outcome of neurosurgical robot-assisted stereotactic puncture and drainage for brain abscess.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 53 patients with brain abscess admitted to our hospital from January 2018 to December 2024.Among them,29 cases underwent craniotomy for abscess resection(craniotomy group),while 24 cases received neurosurgical robot-assisted stereotactic puncture and drainage(robot-assisted group).The operation time,intraoperative blood loss,decompressive craniectomy rate,proportion of postoperative antibiotic regimen adjustment,postoperative hospital stay,incidence of postoperative complications,mortality rate and Glasgow outcome scale(GOS)scores 6 months after surgery of patients were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with the craniotomy group,the robot-assisted group demonstrated significantly shorter operation time,less intraoperative blood loss,and lower incidence of postoperative complication,the differences were all statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there were no statistically significant differences in terms of decompressive craniectomy rate,postoperative hospital stay,mortality rate,GOS score,or proportion of the postoperative antibiotic regimen adjustment between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion As a precise and minimally invasive surgical method,neurosurgical robot-assisted stereotactic puncture and drainage for patients with brain abscess can effectively improve the operational efficiency,shorten the operation time,reduce intraoperative injury,and lower the risk of postoperative complications.It has high clinical application value and potential for widespread adoption.

Objective:To understand healthcare professionals' perceptions and experiences of early rehabilitation exercise for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) patients, explore existing problems in the implementation of early rehabilitation exercise, and provide reference for constructing safe and effective early rehabilitation exercise programs for ECMO patients.Methods:This study was a qualitative study. Using purposeful sampling method, 13 ICU healthcare professionals (including doctors, rehabilitation therapists, and nurses) from three Class Ⅲ Grade A hospitals in Zhejiang Province that have implemented early rehabilitation exercise for ECMO patients were selected for semi-structured interviews from March to May 2024, and the interview data were collated and analyzed using the Colaizzi 7-step analysis method.Results:The perceptions and experiential perspectives of healthcare professionals on early rehabilitation exercise for ECMO patients can be summarized into three themes and 10 subthemes. The three themes were: healthcare professionals affirm the role of early rehabilitation exercise; lack of unified operational guidelines for early rehabilitation exercise; and patients and their families show high enthusiasm for participating in early rehabilitation exercise.Conclusions:Hospitals should regularly conduct related training on early rehabilitation exercise to enhance the practical skills of healthcare professionals. At the same time, healthcare professionals should focus on utilizing the positive role of patients and their families in the process of early rehabilitation exercise to improve the quality of ECMO patient rehabilitation care.

Objective:To evaluate the lung ultrasound characteristics of mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children and to investigate the value of lung ultrasound monitoring in clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods:A retrospective analysis of 62 children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia admitted to Xi'an Chest Hospital from 7 November to 30 November 2023 was performed，and the characteristic parameters of bedside lung ultrasound and their related clinical data were collected. Pathological lung ultrasound features such as interrupted pleural line，well-spaced B-lines，coalescent B-lines，small subpleural patchy pulmonary consolidation，large pulmonary consolidation and pleural effusion in 12 scan areas of both lungs were observed. The maximum upper and lower diameters，right and left diameters，and anterior and posterior diameters of the large pulmonary consolidations were measured，and the changes in the above signs before and after treatment were measured and compared.Results:In sixty-two children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia，including 32 males and 30 females，with a mean age of（8.18 ± 2.05）years old and a mean hospital stay of（8.79 ± 2.93）days，lung ultrasound showed interrupted pleural line，well-spaced B-lines，coalescent B-lines，small subpleural patchy pulmonary consolidation，large pulmonary consolidation and pleural effusion，with the incidence of 93.5%（58 /62），33.9%（21/62），32.3%（20/62），59.7%（37/62），66.1%（41/62）and 17.7%（11/62），respectively，in which the large pulmonary consolidations presented rich blood supply were more common in the L6 and L4 areas，while the pleural effusions were more common in the L6 area.The signs of interrupted pleural line，coalescent B-lines，large pulmonary consolidation and pleural effusion were significantly improved after treatment compared with before treatment（all P<0.05）. The upper and lower diameters，left and right diameters，and anterior and posterior diameters of large pulmonary consolidations were significantly reduced after treatment compared with before treatment［（4.19 ± 2.42）cm vs.（2.84 ± 2.31）cm， t=2.613， P=0.011；（2.80 ± 1.82）cm vs.（1.96 ± 1.62）cm， t=2.226， P=0.029；（3.41 ± 2.11）cm vs.（2.12 ± 1.82）cm， t=2.972， P=0.004］.With the process of treatment，the dynamic observation of lung ultrasound showed that the well-spaced B-lines/coalescent B-lines gradually decreased until they completely disappeared or a small number of B-lines remained，and the area of the large pulmonary consolidation showed a dynamic downward trend（all P<0.001），and the area of large pulmonary consolidations gradually decreased until they completely disappeared or only small subpleural patchy pulmonary consolidations and well-spaced/coalescent B-lines remained，and at the same time，the pleural effusion gradually absorbed until it disappeared. Conclusions:Lung ultrasound can detect the distribution area of lung lesions，morphology and blood supply characteristics of children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia，as well as the dynamic changes after treatment，and lung ultrasound can dynamically monitor and evaluate the progression and regression of the disease in real time，providing a reliable imaging evidence for clinical practice.
