This paper reports the clinical characteristics and ZNF526 gene mutation in a child with Dentici-Novelli neurodevelopmental syndrome, who was admitted to the Department of Pediatrics at the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in June 2021, and reviews the relevant literature.The male child, 5 years and 1 month old, presented with distinctive facial features, intellectual and motor retardation, language development delays, scattered Mongolian spots on the back and buttocks, brain tissue involvement, visual impairment, and epilepsy.The whole-exome sequencing of the family revealed that the child suffered compound heterozygous mutations, c.1430G>T and c. 475C>T, in the ZNF526 gene.At present, 7 mutation sites in the ZNF526 gene have been reported globally to be associated with neurodevelopmental disorders, and the 2 mutations in this case have not been reported in the literature, broadening the phenotype and mutation spectrum of this disease.

Objectives:To investigate the current willingness of depressive outpatients and their doctors in China to engage in shared decision-making (SDM), and to analyze the factors influencing this willingness.Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted among doctors and patients with depression in 12 tertiary psychiatric hospitals and general hospitals by scanning two-dimensional code and filling in the questionnaire on the mobile terminal. The questionnaire covered patient demographics, emotional state scores, initial diagnosis and treatment, treatment expectations and concerns, symptom improvement needs, medication safety requirements, and diagnosis details (completed by the attending physician). Doctors provided basic information, current depression diagnosis and treatment status, and concerns regarding medications. Logistic regression analysis (univariate and multivariate) was used to identify factors influencing patients′ and doctors′ willingness to engage in SDM.Results:A total of 622 valid patient questionnaires and 45 valid physician questionnaires were collected. Both patients and doctors had a strong willingness to make shared decisions (80.39% (500/622) vs. 60.00% (27/45)). Multivariate binary logistic regression analysis showed that residential location (town versus rural areas: OR (95% CI)=1.895 (1.087-3.305)), acceptable monthly medical expenses (≥1 000-<2 000 CNY vs.<300 CNY: OR (95% CI)=0.194 (0.088-0.427);≥2 000 CNY vs.<300 CNY: OR (95% CI)=0.267 (0.094-0.754)), acceptance of online treatment and consultation (accept versus not accept: OR (95% CI)=3.196 (2.024-5.046)), and knowing about psychotherapy (yes versus no: OR (95% CI)=1.711 (1.003-2.921)) were the factors influencing the willingness of shared decision-making in patients (all P<0.05). For the doctors, the time spent on initial consultation was the factor influencing the willingness to engage in SDM ( OR (95% CI)=1.090 (1.004-1.184), P=0.040). Conclusions:Both depression patients and doctors in tertiary outpatient clinics in China show a strong willingness to engage in SDM, providing a solid foundation for clinical application. However, it is necessary to pay attention to the influence of residential location, acceptable monthly medical expenses, acceptance of online treatment and consultation, and knowledge of psychotherapy should be considered for patients, while the time spent on initial consultations should be considered for doctors.

C.citratus has been usedin many countries with a long history.Traditionally,it is applied as a food seasoning in cooking.It is also used in tea beverage and folk medicine as well.Modern application of C.citratus is focused on the development of citronella oil,which can be used for food additives,disinfectants,cosmetics,drugs and etc.C.citratus is also a potential plant in landscaping.Its special lemony flavor contains chemical constituents,mainly including citral,myrcene,linalool,geraniol,nerol,citronellol,and etc.The modern research showed that C.citratus had the main effects of anti-microbial,anti-inflammation,analgesia,anti-oxidation,anti-tumor,anti-anxiety,anti-hypertension,antihyperglycemia,and etc.With further studies,some new pharmacological properties of C.citrates are going to be discovered gradually.It is worthy of further research and development to meet the needs of the health industry.

Objective To establish a mouse model of biliogenic severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) by using a self-made device for retrograde injection of sodium taurocholate into common bile duct,and to investigate the improvement of the device on retrograde injection of sodium taurocholate into common bile duct and its safety.Methods Thirty-six adult male ICR mice were randomly divided into biliogenic SAP model group and sham group,with 18 mice in each group.A 40 U disposable insulin syringe,a 200 μL tips and a 25 μL micro-syringer were used as basic materials for making the mouse common bile duct injection device [National Utility Model Patent (ZL 2014 2 0694365.4)].In model group,3.5％ sodium taurocholate (1 mL/kg) was injected retrogradely into the common bile duct of mice,whilst in sham group,the mice underwent the injection of equal amount of normal saline instead.Six mice in each group were sacrificed at 6,24 and 48 hours after operation,and the abdominal aortic blood was collected.Serum amylase (AMY),alanine aminotransferase (ALT),creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB),serum creatinine (SCr),oxygenation index (PaO2/FiO2) as well as serum Ca2+ were.determined.Pathological change in pancreas was observed under conventional light microscopy after hematoxylin and eosiu (HE) staining,and the impairment was evaluated by a widely used score system.Results The injection device was easily placed into mouse common bile duct under macroscopic observation.Six hours after operation,the levels of serum AMY,ALT and SCr in model group were significantly higher than those in sham group,and peaked at 24 hours,and they slightly decreased at 48 hours,which were still significantly higher than those of the sham group [24-hour AMY (U/L):7 325 ± 1 154 vs.1 737 ± 197,24-hour ALT (U/L):176.0±5.0 vs.38.3 ± 2.0,24-hour SCr (tmol/L):46.3 ± 1.5 vs.17.8 ±0.6,all P ＜ 0.01].The level of CK-MB at 6 hours in the model group was significantly higher than that of the sham group,and peaked at 48 hours (U/L:749.8±42.2 vs.383.3±35.5 at 6 hours,3 340.1 ± 203.6 vs.704.6 ± 63.5 at 48 hours,both P ＜ 0.01).PaO2/FiO2 at 6 hours after the operation in model group was significantly lower than that of sham group,then it began to rise at the similar level in sham group at 48 hours [mmHg (1 mmHg =0.133 kPa):327.5±33.8 vs.424.8±31.0 at 6 hours,P ＜ 0.01;429.8 ±41.8 vs.464.7±43.3 at 48 hours,P ＞ 0.05].Ca2+ level in model group was continuously decreased after operation,and it was significantly lower than that of sham group at 48 hours (mmol/L:1.58 ± 0.14 vs.2.45 ± 0.21,P ＜ 0.01).The pancreatic edema was obvious after operation in sham group,with the observation time prolongation,the changes were gradually improved;pancreatic focal necrosis was found at 6 hours after operation in model group,and it was secondary aggravated,and pancreatic lobule structure disappearance and inflammatory cells extensive infiltration was found at 48 hours.Pathological score of the model group was significantly higher than that of sham group at each time point,and peaked at 48 hours (13.3 ±0.3 vs.3.0±0.1,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion It is a highly efficient and low-cost way to induce biliogenic SAP in mice by retrograde injection of 3.5％ sodium deoxycholate into common bile duct via the self-made injection device,and the model conformed to the clinical characteristics of biliogenic SAP.

Cai which are stem or heartwood of trees or stem of woody liana are a kind of medicinal plant resources traditionally used by Li Minoriy. Ethnobotanical methods were adopted for the investigation on traditional utilization of cai. Totally, 44 species in 26 families and 30 genera were reported to be used as cai. Most of the species were applied as decoction (70.5%) and medicinal liquor (27.3%) to treat a wide range of diseases, such as rheuma-toid arthritis (34.1%), liver diseases (18.2%), injuries and weak (15.9% respectively). Through literature survey, it was found that 7 species (15.9%) were used by Li Minority only. Besides, 13 species (29.5%) were used differently compared with that of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Consequently, it is indicated that indigenous knowledge of using medicinal plants by Li Minority is unique.

Thirty two rabbits were divided into 4 groups: (1) Normal diet control group, ( 2 ) Hyperlipid diet control group, ( 3 ) Hyperlipid diet group injected with 30 mg/kg GSL, ( 4 ) Hyperlipid diet group injected with 60 mg/kg GSL, The whole expeiment took about 42 days. On 24d all hyperlipid diet were removed, and only normal diet given. At the end of this experiment all rabbits were killed by bleeding and the results showed that GSL could decrease the serum lipids GSL could increase the HDL - C in the rabbits injected with 60 mg/kg GSL. GSL could protect the walls of aortas from the damage of hyperlipid serum. The contents of lipid and MDA in the Walls of aortas were decreased. GSL had the effects of protection on the heart and liver by decreasing of Total Cholesterol and MDA. So we conclude that GSL has the effects of lipid regulation and lipid antipeoxidation on the chronic hy-perjipidemic rabits.
