Objective To analyze the basic characteristics of patients with acute myocardial infarction in a tertiary hospi-tal from 2014 to 2023,and provide references for the prevention, treatment, management, and quality control of this disease. Methods Based on the data from the medical records of patients with acute myocardial infarction admitted to a tertiary hospital from January 1,2014,to December 31,2023,the basic characteristics of hospitalized patients and trends in hospitalization costs were analyzed to summarize the development patterns. Results Over the past decade, the number of hospitalized patients with a-cute myocardial infarction has been increasing, while the average length of hospital stay, average cost per hospitalization, and mortality rate have been decreasing.Among the 19 937 patients, there were 16 037 male patients(80.44%)and 3 900 female patients(19.56%),with a male-to-female ratio of 4.11∶1.The median age for male patients was 60 years, while for female patients it was 68 years, indicating that males tend to develop the disease approximately 10 years earlier than females.Among pa-tients aged 60 and above, the mortality rate is positively correlated with age, while among patients below 60,the mortality rate is negatively correlated with age.The decision to undergo surgery has a significant impact on hospitalization costs. From the per-spective of cost structure, the proportion of consumables has decreased from 69.81%to 54.60%in the past decade but remains relatively high. Conclusion With the advancement of hospital management and medical insurance policies, the diagnosis,treat-ment,and quality of care for acute myocardial infarction have significantly improved. However, consumables management remains a key focus.Men and individuals aged 50 and above should be given special attention.During the diagnosis and treatment process, greater attention should also be given to younger or older patients and female patients to reduce the mortality rate.

The acupoint sensitization theory,a breakthrough in acupuncture and moxibustion over the past two decades, has greatly enhanced the understanding of meridians and acupoints while increasing the effectiveness of clinical diagnosis and treatment in acupuncture and moxibustion practices. The number of studies on surface sensitization site detection for different diseases is increasing. However, systematic sorting and a summary of the detection mode of surface sensitization points are lacking. Therefore, this study categorizes the method of surface sensitization point detection into two modes:pan-scanning and focused scanning. The classification is based on the characteristics of the openness of the research purpose, the precision of the target range, and the degree of variation during detection. The two modes have considerable differences in the exploration efficiency and the presentation of result. The pan-scanning mode can be further subdivided into holistic and localized pan-scanning modes, whereas the focused-scanning mode can be subdivided into fixed-and variable-focused scanning modes. This study analyzes the application scenarios, characteristics, advantages, and limitations of each detection mode and presents opinions on mode selection, mode innovation, and future development directions. This study aims to provide valuable insights and guidance for the follow-up research on surface sensitization site detection of various diseases.

A method of complete acid hydrolysis combined with high performance anion exchange chromatography and pulsed amperometric detection was developed for the monosaccharide composition analysis of arabinoxylan from the seeds of Plantago asiatica L. The parameters including hydrolysis methods, acid types, acid concentration, hydrolysis temperature, hydrolysis time and placement time, which would affect the hydrolysis process, were optimized. The results showed that it would have a better hydrolysis effect for polysaccharide from the seeds of Plantago asiatica L. with 2 mol/L H2 SO4 in an atmospheric oil bath at 120℃for 2 hours. However, the placement time for diluted solution of the hydrolyzed polysaccharide should be less than 6 hours. The polysaccharide was mainly composed of Arabinose (8. 89%) and Xylose (41. 52%) and Galacturonic acid (0. 73%). Glcuronic acid (3. 44%) was detected simultaneously, and there were also trace amounts of Galatose and Glucose. The results were reproducible. Other arabinoxylans from Panicummiliaceum L. shell, Avena sativa L. bran and Hordeum vulgare L. were taken for monosaccharide compositions analysis under the optimal hydrolysis conditions and the analysis results were good. This study would provide a good reference for monosaccharides composition analysis of arabinoxylans from various sources.

[Objective]To analyze the advantages of transparent cap assisted endoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of duode-nal diseases.[Methods]From September 2014 to December 2015,62 cases with suspicious duodenal diseases in the endoscopy cen-ter of our hospital randomly divided into transparent cap group(n=31)and routine group(n=31)according to the time sequence. The visual field resolution, success rate of image capture and operating time were compared in 2 groups.[Results]Thirty cases in transparent cap group had clear visual field definition ,which was obviously higher than 9 cases in conventional group (96.8% vs 29%,P < 0.001). Twenty-three cases in transparent cap group and 8 cases in routine group were successfully captured(90.3% vs 25.8%,P < 0.001). The average operating time of the transparent cap group was significantly shorter than that of the conventional group(150+58 vs 95+36 seconds,P=0.004).[Conclusion]Transparent cap endoscope examination is more effective in the treat-ment of duodenal diseases, and the image capture is higher and the operation time is shorter.

Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2016;35(4):276-278
Objective By analyzing the epidemiological characteristics and trends of brucellosis in Ji'nan City,to provide a scientific basis for further prevention and control of the disease. Methods Serum samples of suspected brucellosis patients were collected from every county (city, district) of Ji'nan City from 2008 to 2014,and these samples were screened by Rose-bengal plate agglutination test (RBPT).Then positive samples were confirmed by Standard tube agglutination test (SAT),and experimental data and results were analyzed by statistics. Results Totally 2713 serum samples of suspected brucellosis patients were tested, and 200 were positive by SAT.Temporal distribution:the serum antibody positive specimens were detected each month throughout the year, and the results showed clear seasonal prevalence by concentrating from March to September (82.07%,151/184).Population distribution:the serum antibody positive rate of males was higher than that of females, the ratio was 2.08:1.00,and the cases were found among 15 to 75 years old, while concentrated from 30 to 65 (67.00%,134/200).Spatial distribution:except Huaiyin District, positive samples were detected in all other 10 counties (cities, districts) of Ji'nan City, most of them (92.5%,185/200) in Shanghe,Zhangqiu,Changqing,Shizhong and Licheng counties (cities, districts). Conclusions Brucellosis epidemic in Ji'nan is serious, and cases have occurred mostly in spring, summer and autumn. It is recommended that health propaganda and education should be strengthened in order to enhance selfprotection awareness of the exposed population, and then improve the physical examination for early discovery, early reporting and early treatment. At the same time,it is important to cooperate with the Department of Livestock to prevent and control brucellosis.
