Objective:To investigate the species and distribution of mosquito-borne arboviruses in the southeastern part of Gansu province.Methods:In 2023, mosquitoes were collected using ultraviolet lights in Longnan and Tianshui regions of Gansu province. After classification by morphology, about 50 are only 1 batch. RT-qPCR was used to detect the RNA of Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV), Banna virus (BAV), Getah virus (GETV), Culex flavivirus (CxFV) and Tahyna virus (TAHV). The genomes of the positive samples were sequenced and the genetic evolution of the virus genomes were analyzed by bioinformatics software.Results:In total, there were 8 176 mosquitoes from 4 genera and 9 species collected from Longnan and Tianshui from June to August 2023. Culex tritaeniorhynchus was the most common species with 55.80% (4 562/8 176) of the total mosquitoes collected, followed by 16.43% (1 343/8 176) of Culex pipiens pallens. A total of 263 batches of samples were obtained, and the nucleic acid test showed that 1 batch was positive for JEV, 2 batches were positive for BAV, 3 batches were positive for GETV and 25 batches were positive for CxFV. Conclusions:Culex tritaeniorhynchus was the dominant mosquito species in the southeastern part of Gansu province, and local mosquitoes carried a variety of arboviruses.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the safety and superiority of dressings and bandage compression method for patients after percutaneous coronary intervention through femoral artery.MethodsA total of 648 patients who received percutaneous coronary intervention through femoral artery were randomly divided into three groups: the modified group (224 cases), the routine group (213 cases) and the haemostat group (211 cases), they each adopted modified dressings and bandage compression method, the traditional oppression hemostatic method, and arterial oppression with hemostat method. The unarmed oppression time, expenditure, braking time, and complications were observed and analyzed statistically.ResultsThere was no significant difference in braking time and local vascular complications of the three groups. Compared with the routine group, the modified group reduced the unarmed oppression time and the medical staffs workload; compared with the hemostat group, it reduced the expenditure.ConclusionsImproved dressings and bandage compression method can reduce the unarmed oppression time and expenditure, it is an ideal local hemostasis method for patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention through femoral artery, and is worthy of clinical application.

Objective To observe the effect of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) on magnetic resonance spectroscopy of vascular dementia (VD) rats.Methods After the VD model was reproduced, the 12 rats were randomly divided into the therapy group and dementia group with 6 animals in each group. Another 6 rats were selected as sham operation group. The VD rats in therapy group were treated with bFGF by hypodermic injection. After 5 weeks, abilities of learning and memory of three groups' rats were tested by Morris water maze. The changes of magnetic resonance spectroscopy and N-acetyl aspartate (NAA), NAA/（Cr＋Cho） in lobus temporalis of VD rats were also observed.Results Abilities of learning and memory of rats significantly improved in the therapy group than that in the dementia group (P<0.01). The values of NAA, NAA/（Cr＋Cho） in lobus temporalis of VD rats significantly increased in the therapy group than that in the dementia group (P<0.01).Conclusion bFGF by hypodermic injection can obviously elevate abilities of learning and memory and the values of NAA, NAA/（Cr＋Cho） in lobus temporalis of VD rats.
