Objective:To investigate the predictive value of serum uric acid/albumin ratio (sUAR) for acute kidney injury (AKI) after cardiac valve surgery. Methods:The clinical data of adult patients undergoing cardiac valve surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass from January 2021 to December 2021 from the Heart Center of Henan Provincial People's Hospital were collected retrospectively, and the sUAR was calculated. All patients were divided into AKI group and non-AKI group according to whether AKI occurred within 7 days after cardiac valve surgery, and the differences of clinical data between the two groups were compared. Multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the independent correlation factors of AKI after cardiac valve surgery. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to evaluate the performance of relevant indicators. Results:A total of 422 patients were enrolled, including 194 females (46.0%), 141 hypertension patients (33.4%) and 172 atrial fibrillation patients (40.8%). They were 57 (50, 65) years old. Their sUAR was 8.13 (6.57, 9.54) μmol/g, and hemoglobin was 135 (125, 145) g/L. There were 142 cases in AKI group and 280 cases in non-AKI group, and the incidence of AKI after cardiac valve surgery was 33.6%. Age, atrial fibrillation rate, baseline serum creatinine, N terminal pro B type natriuretic peptide, serum urea, serum uric acid, blood glucose and sUAR were higher in the AKI group than those in the non-AKI group (all P<0.05), and estimated glomerular filtration rate, lymphocyte count, hemoglobin and serum albumin were lower in the AKI group than those in the non-AKI group (all P<0.05). The median cardiopulmonary bypass time of patients in the AKI group was slightly longer than that in the non-AKI group, but the difference was not statistically significant [159 (125, 192) min vs. 151 (122, 193) min, Z=-0.797, P=0.426], and there were no statistically significant differences in other indicators between the two groups. The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that sUAR ( OR=1.467, 95% CI 1.308-1.645, P<0.001), age ( OR=1.045, 95% CI 1.020-1.072, P<0.001), atrial fibrillation ( OR=2.520, 95% CI 1.580-4.020, P<0.001), hemoglobin ( OR=0.984, 95% CI 0.971-0.997, P=0.015) were the independent correlation factors. ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve ( AUC) of sUAR predicting AKI after cardiac valve surgery was 0.710 (95% CI 0.659-0.760, P<0.001) with a sensitivity of 85.2% and specificity of 45.0% for the sUAR cut-off point of 7.28 μmol/g. The AUC for the diagnosis of AKI after cardiac valve surgery was 0.780 (95% CI 0.734-0.825, P<0.001) with a sensitivity of 72.5% and specificity of 71.8% for the combination of sUAR with age, hemoglobin and atrial fibrillation. Conclusions:For patients undergoing cardiac valve surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass, preoperative high sUAR is an independent risk factor for postoperative AKI, and sUAR has a certain predictive value for postoperative AKI.

Objective To identify the role of IL-17A during respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in-fection in a mouse model. Methods Female wild-type C57BL/6 mice and IL-17A knockout ( IL-17A-/-) mice at the age of 6 to 8 weeks were both randomly divided into two groups:control and RSV groups. Mice in the control groups were given the supernatant of Hep-2 cell culture, while those in the RSV groups were treated with RSV A2 through intranasal administration. Leukocytes in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid ( BALF) samples were counted. Left lung tissues were stained with hematoxylin and eosin ( HE ) to evaluate his-topathological scores. Airway hyperresponsiveness ( AHR) was measured by whole-body plethysmography. The concentrations of IFN-γ were determined with ELISA. RSV titers were measured by plaque assay. To assess the effects of IL-17A on IFN-γproduction and its role in RSV infection, IL-17A-/- mice were treated with exogenous recombinant murine IFN-γ or IL-17A, while wild-type mice were given IFN-γ neutralizing antibody intervention. Results The counts of inflammatory cells and neutrophils in BALF, lung tissue his-topathological scores, AHR, IFN-γlevels and virus titers of the wild-type group were higher than those of the IL-17A-/-group after RSV infection. IFN-γlevels, inflammatory cell counts in BALF, AHR and lung tissue histopathological scores were significantly increased in RSV-infected IL-17A-/- mice after the intervention of recombinant murine IL-17A or IFN-γ. RSV titers were much higher in the recombinant murine IL-17A-trea-ted group, but not affected by the recombinant murine IFN-γ intervention. Inflammatory cell counts in BALF, AHR and lung tissue histopathological scores were significantly decreased in RSV-infected wild-type mice following IFN-γ neutralizing antibody treatment, but no significant changes were found in RSV titers. Conclusions IL-17A might be involved in the pathogenesis of pulmonary diseases during RSV infection through promoting IFN-γ production and inhibiting viral clearance in mice.

Objective To investigate the influence of high + Gzenvironment on receptor activator of nuclear factor κB ligand (RANKL) and osteoprotegerin (OPG) messenger RNA (mRNA ) expression in the peri-implant bone tissue by an animal model. Methods Thirty New Zealand white rabbits were randomly and averagely divided into 3 control groups and 3 experimental groups corresponding to the investigation for 3 weeks ,5 weeks and 12 weeks respectively.Rabbits′ mandible incisors of both sides were extracted and im planted with 1 implant in each socket immediately. After 1 week of rest ,the experimental rabbits were exposed to high + Gzenvironment 3 times a week (Monday ,Wednesday ,Friday) ,The exposure scheme choose the + Gzprofile with 4~9 G for 10~45 s with 1 G/s onset rate and with the intervals of 1 min.The rabbits of control groups were not exposed to + Gzenvironment and normally fed.One control group and one experimental group rabbits were respectively sacrificed at the 3rd week (+Gzexposure for 2 weeks) , 5th week (+Gzexposure for 4 weeks) and 12th week (+Gzexposure for 4 weeks and normal feeding for 7 weeks) after the implanting surgery. The specimens were obtained to find the mRNA expression of RANKL and OPG by real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) examination. Results The mRNA expression of RA NKL and OPG were the highest 3 weeks after the surgery in both groups , and then decreased gradually. The RANKL mRNA expression and the RANKL/OPG ratio of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group 3 weeks after the surgery (P<0.05).Five weeks after the surgery ,the OPG mRNA expression of the experimental group was significantlylowerthanthatofthecontrolgroup(P<0.05),buttheRANKLmRNAexpressionand RANKL/OPG ratio were still higher than that of control group (P<0.05).Twelve weeks after the surgery ,the differences on RANKL and OPG mRNA expressions was not obvious between two groups. Conclusions High +Gzexposure could increase the expression of RA N K L ,raise RA N K L/OPG ratio and promote bone resorption ,but may be not conducive to implant bone bonding.

Basic skills for use of library is the initial course of information literacy teaching system in our universi-ty. Two years have been past since its teaching reform from 2014, namely classroom teaching in combination with project practice. The connotation and model of project teaching method were thus described in this paper with stress laid on its implementation and adjustment. Project teaching method achieved excellent results in the past two years, which were highly appraised by the teaching administration departments, teachers and students whose information literacy was effectively improved.
