Objective:
To explore the effect of improving these traits through art therapy group meetings as a form of psychological counseling, so as to promote mental wellness among this population.
Methods:
A total of 74 hearing impaired students from grades 3 to 9 were surveyed with the Children s Self concept Scale (PHCSS) and Social Adaptability Scale. Eight art therapy group meetings, as a form of psychological counseling, were then held.
Results:
Self consciousness among hearing impaired students aged 10-12 and 13-16 years old was significantly lower than the national norm ( t =-6.51, -8.50, P <0.01). The social adaptability level of this group was very poor(2.89±8.26), and a significant positive correlation was found between self awareness and social adaptability among hearing impaired students. Further, self awareness could predict the social adaptability of these students ( F = 9.04 , P <0.05). After group psychological counseling intervention, there was significant increases in self consciousness among students from grades 3 to 9, and significant increases were also found in the social adaptability of students in grades 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 ( P <0.05).
Conclusion
Self awareness shows certain influence on the social adaptability level of hearing impaired students, and group psychological counseling can promote social adaptability by improving self awareness among this population.

Chinese Critical Care Medicine 2021;33(8):985-989
Objective:To evaluate the prognostic value of transthoracic lung ultrasound comet-tail and extravascular lung water index (EVLWI) in septic patients. Methods:A prospective cohort study was conducted. Sixty septic patients admitted to department of intensive care unit (ICU) of Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital from November 2016 to October 2019 were enrolled. The EVLWI and pulmonary vascular permeability index (PVPI) were determined by pulse-indicated continuous cardiac output (PiCCO) system at 0, 24, 48 and 72 hours. At the same time, the numbers of comet tail signs in both lungs (parasternal, midclavicular, axillary to midaxillary) were collected by chest ultrasound. Moreover, arterial blood gas analysis, such as pH value, central venous-to-arterial carbon dioxide difference (Pcv-aCO 2), central venous oxygen saturation (ScvO 2), blood lactic acid (Lac), PaO 2/FiO 2 were measured. Pearson correlation analysis was performed between the number of comet-tail sign and EVLWI. Multivariate Logistic regression model was used to analyze the relationship between the number of comet-tail sign, EVLWI and prognosis. Receiver operator characteristic curve (ROC curve) was drawn to predict the prognosis. Results:There were 43 males and 17 females in 60 septic patients. The average age was (64.3±15.5) years old (range: 31-83 years old). There were 35 cases with pulmonary infection, 10 cases with abdominal infection, 6 cases with urinary tract infection, 3 cases with skin and soft tissue infection, 3 cases with intestinal infection, 1 case with meningitis, 1 case with cellulitis and 1 case with multiple injury. Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) occurred with 8 patients; 40 patients (66.7%) survived and 20 patients (33.3%) died on day 28. Pearson correlation analysis showed that the number of comet-tail sign was positively correlated with EVLWI ( r = 0.944, P < 0.001). There was significant difference in the number of comet-tail signs among sepsis patients with different primary infection sites ( H = 17.714, P < 0.001). The number of comet-tail signs in sepsis patients with pulmonary infection [19 (13, 27)] was significantly higher than that with other infections. The number of comet-tail sign in patients with ARDS was significantly higher than that in patients without ARDS [27 (19, 30) vs. 15 (9, 24), H = 25.387, P < 0.001]. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that EVLWI, the number of comet-tail signs and PVPI were independent risk factors for death in septic patients [odds ratio ( OR) and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) were 10.772 (1.161-99.851), 2.360 (1.070-5.202), 2.042 (1.152-3.622), all P < 0.05]. The accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value of Logistic regression model based on comet-tail sign and EVLWI were 90.0%, 90.0%, 90.0%, 81.8%, 94.7%, respectively, and area under curve (AUC) were 0.926±0.018, 95% CI was 0.912-0.975, P < 0.001. Conclusions:The transthoracic lung ultrasound comet-tail in septic patients is significantly correlated with EVLWI monitored by PiCCO. The transthoracic lung ultrasound comet-tail combined with EVLWI can better improve the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of 28-day prognosis in septic patients.

Among them, 25 pathogens were detected by mNGS and CMT, and only 19 pathogens were detected by mNGS. Among the microorganisms isolated by mNGS method, the detection rates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumannii and Klebsiella pneumoniae were higher [51.4%(18/35), 42.9% (15/35), 31.4% (11/35), respectively]; Candida albicans, Aspergillus and Pneumocystis carinii were the most commonly detected fungi [31.4% (11/35), 22.9% (8/35), 22.9% (8/35), respectively]; 20 patients were positive for the virus, and the most commonly detected viruses were cytomegalovirus, herpesvirus and EB virus [28.6% (10/35), 20.0% (7/35), 17.1% (6/35), respectively]. In addition, one case of Brucella was detected by mNGS.② Diagnostic efficiency: as far as bacterial detection is concerned, 20 cases of negative results were obtained by CMT detection of 35 samples included in the study, and a total of 10 cases of positive results were obtained by mNGS detection of negative samples; the percentage of mNGS positive samples was significantly higher than that of CMT positive samples [odds ratio ( OR) = 5.5, 95% confidence interval (95% CI) = 1.2-24.8, P = 0.02]. When compared with CMT, the sensitivity and specificity of mNGS were 93.3% and 50.0%, and the positive predictive value (PPV) and negative predictive value (NPV) were 58.3%, 91.1%. As far as fungal detection was concerned, there was no significant difference in the percentage of positive samples between the two methods ( OR = 1.5, 95% CI = 0.5-4.2, P = 0.60); the sensitivity and specificity of mNGS were 72.2% and 64.7%, and the PPV and NPV were 68.4%, 68.8%; CMT test of the 35 included samples produced 17 negative results, and mNGS test of the negative samples produced 6 positive results. A total of 20 patients tested positive for the virus by mNGS. In addition, 23 patients (65.7%) were diagnosed with pulmonary mixed infection. Conclusion:The use of mNGS to detect pathogens in BALF can improve the sensitivity and specificity of bacterial identification of pulmonary infection in critically ill organ transplant patients, and mNGS has obvious advantages in detecting virus and identifying mixed infections.

Objective To investigate the effect of Osthole on memory function of sleep deprivation(SD) mice. Methods Forty-eight male mice were randomly divided into 4 groups;normal control group(NC group ), large platform control group(TC group),sleep deprivation group(M group)and Osthole group(Ost group). The model of SD in mice was estabished by using improved multi platform method. The ability of learning and memory was tested by using Morris water maze test and pathological changes of hippocampal neurons in mice were observed by HE staining. The serum, hippcampus malondialdehyde(MDA)contents and superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity, so as the hippocampus No content, were detected. Results Compared with NC group and TC group, the escape la-tency of M group increased significiantly and the number of crossing platform decreased significantly. There were in-creased levels hippocampus tissue, serum MDA level, hippocampal SOD activity and NO content. After supplemen-tation of Osthole, the escape latency significantly shortened in mice. The number of crossing platform was increased while the contents of MDA both in hippocampus and serum were decreased, and the SOD activity in hippocampus re-turned to normal. However, the level of NO in hippocampus was not decreased. Conclusion Osthole can protect the memory function of SD mice by reducing the the damage of hippocampal neurons through antioxidant stress.
