Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2026;67(7):710-715
In the context of the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), the inheritance of the experiences of famous doctors faces significant challenges due to its complex nonlinear characteristics and dynamic evolution. There are still issues in the current inheritance system, such as the homogenization of talent cultivation models, lack of standardized mentoring practices, and monotonous evaluation method, which hinder the systematic inheritance and innovative development of famous doctors' experiences. Based on a systematic review of the current state of artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted inheritance of famous doctors' experiences, this study explores innovative pathways for deep integration of modern information technologies with famous doctors' experiences from key dimensions, including data authenticity assurance, interdisciplinary collaboration mechanisms, and the establishment of dynamic inheritance standards. It proposes a paradigm shift in the inheritance of TCM famous doctors' experiences in the AI era, aiming to build a new TCM inheritance system of "digital intelligence empowerment and cross-disciplinary innovation", providing theoretical support and practical pathways for the inheritance of famous doctors' experiences in TCM.

Objective:
To investigate the mediating role of children s sleep quality in the association between mother-child relationship and the executive function of preschool children, providing a reference for promoting the development of the executive function of preschool children.
Methods:
A stratified cluster sampling method was used to select 842 preschoolers from 12 kindergartens in Wuhu City, Anhui Province in December 2021 as the subjects of the first follow up study with follow up every six months thereafter. Finally, 746 children were included in the study after 3 follow up. Spearman correlation analysis was used to explore the associations among mother-child relationship, sleep quality and executive function in preschool children. Bootstrap program and PROCESS software were applied to test the mediating effect of sleep quality in the association between mother-child relationship and the executive function of preschool children.
Results:
Conflictual mother-child relationship was positively correlated with the total score of executive function, as well as scores of inhibitory, shifting, emotional control, working memory, and organizational planning ( r=0.40, 0.37, 0.36, 0.41, 0.38 , 0.34, all P <0.05). Dependent mother-child relationship was positively correlated with the total score of executive function, as well as scores of inhibitory, shifting, emotional control, working memory , and organizational planning ( r=0.23, 0.20, 0.21, 0.22 , 0.22, 0.19, all P <0.05). Sleep quality was positively correlated with the total executive function score ( r=0.27, P <0.01). After adjusting for confounding factors, sleep quality played a partial mediating role in the associations between dependent and conflictual mother-child relationships and executive function, the mediating effects were 19.40% and 11.22% respectively.
Conclusions
Sleep quality plays a mediating role in the association between mother-child relationship and the executive function of preschool children. Improving sleep quality in the early stage can promote the executive function of preschool children.

In order to investigate the role of sRNA OxyS in the pathogenicity of Salmonella typhi-murium infection, the OxyS gene deletion strain ATCC25241 △OxyS and the back-complemented strain ATCC25241 △OxyS/OxyS of Salmonella typhimurium ATCC25241 were constructed by using λRed homologous recombination technique. We investigated the effect of OxyS deletion on the biological characteristics and pathogenicity of Salmonella typhimurium ATCC25241.The re-sults showed that the deletion of OxyS did not affect the growth rate, the ability of biofilm forma-tion,and the ability of adhesion, invasion and intracellular survival of Salmonella typhimurium, but significantly reduced the motility of Salmonella typhimurium as well as its ability to survive in alkaline and oxidative environments. The results of mouse infection test showed that OxyS dele-tion caused a significant decrease in the virulence of Salmonella typhimurium in mice, and toxicity is reduced obviously. The qPCR results also showed that OxyS deletion could lead to changes in the transcript levels of a number of virulence-related genes of Salmonella typhimurium such as pipB,orf245,csgA,invH,tatA,sipA,sipB,and so on.The above results indicate that OxyS gene affects the biological characteristics and pathogenicity of Salmonella typhimurium and is an important virulence regulator of Salmonella typhimurium.

AIM:To investigate whether Xibining Ⅱ(XBN Ⅱ)attenuates cartilage damage in rats with knee osteoarthritis(KOA)by modulating glycolysis via the AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK)/peroxisome proliferator-acti-vated receptor γ coactivator 1α(PGC1α)signaling pathway.METHODS:Thirty-two SD rats were randomly divided into sham group,KOA group,XBN Ⅱ group and metformin(AMPK activator)group, with 8 rats in each group. The rats in KOA group were subjected to the anterior cruciate ligament transection procedure to establish the KOA model.Starting from the 14th day after modeling, the rats in XBN Ⅱ group received a daily dose of XBN Ⅱ via gavage once a day,and those in metformin group were administered metformin via intraperitoneal injection once a day for 4 weeks.Subsequently, the histopathological changes of the cartilage were examined by HE and safranin O-fast green staining with matching Mankin and OARSI scores. The protein levels of phosphorylated AMPK(p-AMPK)and PGC1α in cartilage were quanti-fied through immunohistochemistry. In addition,RT-qPCR and Western blot were conducted to measure the mRNA and protein expression levels of glycolysis-related factors, including glucose transporter 1,hexokinase 2 and lactate dehydroge-nase A,biomarkers related to cartilage synthesis and catabolism, such as collagen type Ⅱ,aggrecan, matrix metallopro-teinase 13 and a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs 5,and AMPK/PGC1α signaling pathway-re-lated indicators.RESULTS:Lactate levels in cartilage and serum were higher in KOA group compared with sham group(P<0.05).Similarly,the cartilage in KOA group exhibited significant surface abrasion and structural damage, with faint-stained matrix and significantly higher Mankin and OARSI scores compared with sham group(P<0.05).Further analysis revealed significant decreases in the mRNA and protein expression levels of factors related to cartilage anabolism and AMPK/PGC1α signaling pathway in KOA group compared with sham group(P<0.05).In contrast, there were marked in-creases in the mRNA and protein expression levels of factors related to cartilage catabolism and glycolysis(P<0.05).No-tably,XBN Ⅱ and metformin treatments significantly improved the cartilage morphology, reduced Mankin and OARSI scores, and reversed the changes in mRNA and protein levels of the aforementioned indexes(P<0.05).CONCLU-SION:Treatment with XBN Ⅱ can alleviate cartilage damage in KOA rats by inhibiting glycolysis, through a mechanism involving activation of the AMPK/PGC1α signaling pathway.
