Osteoporosis （OP） is a systemic metabolic disease with a strong correlation with age. The prevalence of osteoporosis is rising annually as a consequence of the growing issue of population ageing. The current treatments for OP have numerous shortcomings. In contrast， traditional Chinese medicine has a long history and a rich species diversity. Furthermore， recent years have seen an increase in the number of studies examining the anti-OP properties of traditional Chinese medicine. This may provide a safe and effective alternative strategy for the treatment of OP. The zebrafish， due to its favourable optical transparency and high homology with human genes， has been extensively employed as an animal research model in the investigation of human skeletal-related disease mechanisms and drug screening. This paper presents a review of anti-osteoporosis studies of traditional Chinese medicine using zebrafish as a model for osteoporosis. It also provides a summary of the experimental evaluation methods involved in such studies， an analysis of the current status of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of osteoporosis using zebrafish as a model， and a summary of the mechanism of action and the signalling pathways involved in traditional Chinese medicine in the anti-osteoporosis treatment of zebrafish. The current research status of Chinese medicine in the treatment of OP was analysed， as well as the mechanism of action of Chinese medicine against OP and the signalling pathways involved. Furthermore， the advantages and disadvantages of various zebrafish modelling methods of OP were compared with those of traditional animal models. The objective of this study is to provide a reference for the evaluation method of the zebrafish model in the study of bone-related diseases， as well as for the study of the mechanism of action of traditional Chinese medicine against OP and for the reference of the research and development of new drugs.

Objective: To understand the impact of left behind experience on the mental health of secondary vocational school students, so as to provide theoretical basis for the psychological health education of secondary vocational school students. Methods: From September to December in 2019, a total of 3 401 students from Duyun, Guiding and Pingtang County were selected by multi stage cluster random sampling method. Self designed questionnaire and Symptom Check List-90(SCL-90) were used to investigate mental health status. A total of 1 415 left behind students and 1 415 non left behind students were matched by using propensity score matching (PSM). Wilcoxon test and Logistic regression analysis were conducted. Results: Before the matching of propensity score, there were statistically significant differences in the distribution of family structure, mother s educational level, family residence,family harmony and children s past health among the students with or without left behind experience ( χ 2=28.17, 52.40, 96.31, 29.75 , 19.10, P <0.05). After the matching, there were no statistically significant differences in the distribution of the above variables among the students with or without left behind experience ( χ 2=0.02-4.32, P >0.05). Before the matching of propensity scores, there were significant differences in the scores of 10 dimensions of SCL-90, including somatization (1.67,1.58), interpersonal sensitivity (2.00,1.89), anxiety (1.90,1.70), obsessive compulsive symptoms (2.20, 2.10), depression (2.00, 1.85), hostility (1.83, 1.67), terror (1.85, 1.71), paranoia (1.83, 1.67), psychotic (1.70, 1.60) and other (1.85, 1.71) dimensions among secondary vocational school students with or without left behind experience ( Z=-5.15 to -2.84, P <0.05). After propensity score matching, there were significant differences in scores remained only in three factors for interpersonal sensitivity [(2.00(1.56,2.67)，2.00(1.44,2.56)], paranoia [1.83(1.33,2.50)，1.83(1.33,2.33)] and psychoticism [1.70(1.30,2.30)，1.70(1.20,2.20)] in SCL- 90 among secondary vocational students with or without left behind experience ( Z=-2.45, -2.12, -2.23, P <0.05). Conclusion The impact of left behind experience on the mental health of vocational school students is mainly reflected in interpersonal sensitivity, paranoia, and psychoticism, which should be identified as key areas of psychological education for secondary vocational school students.

It consists of Ostreae Concha， Astragali Radix， Ephedrae Radix et Rhizoma， and wheat， with the effect of replenishing qi and stopping sweating. It is a common formula in the clinical treatment with traditional Chinese medicine. This study analyzes the historical evolution， composition， dosage， original plants and their processing methods， decocting method， efficacy， indications， and modern clinical application of Mulisan by tracing， comparative analysis， and bibliometric methods. The results showed that Mulisan firstly appeared in the Pulse Classic written by WANG Shuhe in the Western Jin Dynasty. The formulation idea can be traced back to the Important Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold for Emergency in the Tang Dynasty. The herb composition， dosage， efficacy， and indications of Mulisan were first recorded in the Treatise on Diseases， Patterns， and formulas Related to Unification of the Three Etiologies in the Southern Song dynasty. In terms of original plants and their processing methods， Ostreae Concha is the shell of Ostrea rivularis， which should be calcined before use. Astragali Radix and Ephedrae Radix et Rhizoma are the dried roots of Astragalus membranaceus var. mongholicus and Ephedra sinica， respectively， the raw material of which should be used. Wheat is the dried mature fruit of T. aestivum， which can be used without processing， while the stir-fried fruit， being thin and deflated， demonstrates better effect. The composition of Mulisan is Ostreae Concha 8.26 g， Astragali Radix 8.26 g， Ephedrae Radix et Rhizoma 8.26 g， and wheat 7.92 g. The medicinal materials should be ground into coarse powder and decocted with 450 mL water to reach a volume of 240 mL， and the decoction should be taken warm. In modern clinical practice， Mulisan has a wide range of indications， including spontaneous sweating and night sweating caused by Yang deficiency or Qi deficiency. The clinical disease spectrum treated by Mulisan involves endocrine system diseases， neurological diseases， respiratory system diseases， and cancer. This formula plays a significant role in the treatment of internal medicine diseases in traditional Chinese medicine. This study aims to provide a scientific basis for the subsequent research， development， and clinical application of Mulisan.

Objective: To investigate the nutritional status and influencing factors among Tibetan and Mongolian children and adolescents aged 7-18 years in high-altitude regions, so as to provide evidence for early prevention and control of malnutrition in this population. Methods: From May to June 2022, a cluster sampling method was employed to recruit 1 019 Tibetan and Mongolian children and adolescents aged 7-18 years from two primary and secondary schools in Golmud City. Physical examinations, dietary frequency questionnaires, and physical activity assessments were conducted. Nutritional status was classified as obesity, combined overweight/obesity, underweight, or central obesity according to national standards including Screening for Overweight and Obesity among School-age Children and Adolescents, Screening Standard for Malnutrition of School-age Children and Adolescents, Blue Book on Obesity Prevention and Control in China. Chi-square tests, t-test and Logistic regression analyses were performed to identify factors associated with different nutritional statuses. Results: The detection rates of obesity, combined overweight/obesity, underweight, and central obesity were 8.0%, 18.1%, 5.2%, and 19.7%, respectively. The height of children and adolescents across all age groups was generally lower than the national standard values. Tibetan participants exhibited significantly lower height-for-age Z-scores (HAZ)(9-10, 13-17 years, Z =2.01, 2.78, 4.16, 3.38, 4.12, 3.63, 3.00) and BMI-for-age Z-scores (BAZ) compared to Mongolian participants ( Z =-2.95, -2.47, -2.31, -2.89, -2.14, -2.17)( P < 0.05 ). Multivariate Logistic regression revealed that Mongolian children and adolescents had higher risks of obesity ( OR =2.20) and combined overweight/obesity ( OR = 2.18 ) ( P <0.05). Additionally, insufficient moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) was associated with an increased risk of central obesity ( OR =1.48, P <0.05), compared with children and adolescents who meet the standard of MVPA. Conclusions The rates of overweight and obesity among Tibetan and Mongolian children and adolescents in Golmud City are higher, influenced by multiple factors. Nutrition interventions and physical activity strategies tailored to ethnic characteristics should be implemented, with emphasis on promoting MVPA to improve nutritional outcomes in this population.

Objective To investigate the pathogenesis of high-altitude cerebral edema(HACE)and develop new therapeutic strategies.Methods Male Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats of 6 weeks old were selected and placed in a hypobaric chamber.The rats were exposed to the high-altitude environment of 7000 m above sea level for 3 days for HACE modeling.Whether the HACE model was successfully established in the rats was evaluated by measuring brain water content,the degree of disruption to the blood-brain barrier(BBB),and brain tissue Nissl staining.The experimental animals were divided into four groups,with 28 rats in each group.The blank control group was exposed to a normobaric and normoxic environment simulating the conditions at 500 m above sea level for 3 d.The other groups,including a model group(the HACE group),a bumetanide group(the positive control group),and a XH-6003 treatment group,were placed at an altitude of 7 000 m above sea level and were injected with normal saline,bumetanide,and XH-6003,a new type of Na-K-2C1 cotransporter 1(NKCC1)inhibitor,via the tail vein,respectively,twice daily for 3 d.The experimental animals were taken out of the hypobaric chamber for testing after 3 d.The primary outcome measures included brain water content,BBB permeability,changes in brain tissue morphology,and the expression levels of aquaporin-4(AQP4)and NKCC1.The secondary outcome measures included behavioral changes,apoptosis,and oxidative stress markers.Results The HACE rat model was successfully established.The model group exhibited increased brain water content(P＜0.0001),BBB disruption(P＜0.0001),impairment in learning skills and memory(P＜0.001),and anxiety/depression-like behaviors(P＜0.01).qPCR results showed significantly increased expression of NKCC1 and AQP4 in the brain tissue of the model group(P＜0.01).Pathology examination revealed neuronal and glial cell damage in the hippocampus of the model group(P＜0.01).Treatment with XH-6003,the NKCC1 inhibitor,reversed brain water content,BBB disruption,and neuronal and glial cell damage to a certain degree(P＜0.05),decreased the expression of NKCC1 and AQP4 in the brain tissue(P＜0.01),and inhibited apoptosis-related proteins.Among the oxidative stress indices,only glutathione(GSH)showed improvement(P＜0.001).Rats treated with XH-6003 showed functional improvement only in the time spent exploring novel objects,while other behavioral outcomes remained unchanged.Conclusion HACE is associated with the activation of the NKCC1/AQP4 pathway.Inhibition of this pathway alleviates brain edema,BBB disruption,and neuronal and glial cell damage.These findings suggest that XH-6003 holds potential as a therapeutic strategy for HACE at the cellular and molecular levels,but its effects in improving HACE-related behavioral disorders warrant further investigation.

In recent years, the widespread application of chest computed tomography (CT) screening has led to a significant increase in the detection rate of pulmonary nodules. As a critical diagnostic tool for early-stage lung cancer, video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) has emerged as the preferred therapeutic approach for pulmonary nodules. Clinical evidence demonstrates that precise preoperative localization significantly enhances surgical success rates (reducing conversion to thoracotomy), minimizes complications, and shortens operation time. This comprehensive review systematically evaluates six cutting-edge localization techniques: percutaneous puncture-assisted localization, electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy (ENB) localization, 3D-printed auxiliary localization, basin-analysis-based localization, robotic navigation system localization, and mixed reality (MR)-guided localization. By critically analyzing their operational principles, efficacy, safety profiles, and clinical applicability, this paper aims to provide evidence-based recommendations for optimizing clinical decision-making in pulmonary nodule management.

OBJECTIVES: To investigate the role of sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 5 (S1PR5) in modulating barrier function of mouse brain microvascular endothelial cells with oxygen-glucose deprivation and reoxygenation (OGD/R). METHODS: Mouse brain microvascular endothelial cells (bEnd.3) were exposed to OGD/R to induce barrier dysfunction following treatment with S1PR5-specific agonist A971432 or lentivirus-mediated transfection with a S1PR5-specific siRNA, a S1PR5-overexpressing plasmid, or their respective negative control sequences. The changes in viability and endothelial barrier permeability of the treated cells were evaluated with CCK-8 assay and FITC-dextran permeability assay; the levels of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) and localization and expression levels of the proteins related with barrier function and oxidative stress were detected using immunofluorescence staining, DCFH-DA probe and Western blotting. RESULTS: S1PR5 activation obviously enhanced viability of bEnd.3 cells exposed to OGD/R (P<0.0001). Both activation and overexpression of S1PR5 reduced FITC-dextran leakage, while S1PR5 knockdown significantly increased FITC-dextran leakage in the exposed bEnd.3 cells. Activation and overexpression of S1PR5 both increased the cellular expressions of the barrier proteins ZO-1 and occludin, while S1PR5 knockdown produced the opposite effect. In cells exposed to OGD/R, ROS production was significantly reduced by S1PR5 activation and overexpression but increased following S1PR5 knockdown. Overexpression of S1PR5 obviously increased the expressions of the antioxidant proteins Nrf2, HO-1 and SOD2 in the exposed cells. CONCLUSIONS S1PR5 activation and overexpression significantly improve cell viability and reduce permeability of a mouse brain microvascular endothelial cell model of OGD/R, the mechanism of which may involve the reduction in ROS production and upregulation of the antioxidant proteins.
