Modern Hospital 2025;25(9):1371-1374
This paper aims to explore the strategies and practices of implementing lean management in maternal and child healthcare specialties within a general hospital.Based on the characteristics and needs of maternal and child healthcare work, standardized workflows were established utilizing information technology.A quality control and evaluation system was implemen-ted,the mechanism for multidisciplinary collaboration was optimized, and doctor-patient communication was strengthened to en-hance service quality.Initiatives such as satisfaction surveys and grassroots support programs were conducted.Through the prac-tice of lean management in the hospital's obstetric wards and pediatric outpatient departments, maternal satisfaction increased by nearly 7 percentage points, reaching an overall satisfaction rate of 93%.The overall satisfaction rate among children's parents reached 92%.This approach provided more professional and precise medical services for pregnant women and pediatric patients.Pediatric specialists provided support to grassroots hospitals, improving their diagnosis and cure rates for complex and critical illnes-ses.Lean management enhanced the overall competitiveness of the general hospital and patient satisfaction, providing strong support for maternal and child healthcare work.Lean management holds significant importance in maternal and child healthcare specialties, offering valuable insights and assistance for improving the quality and efficiency of healthcare services for women and children.

Objective:To investigate the current status of innovative behavior among male nurses in the Anhui Province, conduct potential profile analysis and explore its influencing factors, providing reference for formulating intervention stratigies to enhance innovative behavior among male nurses. Methods:From January to February 2022, a stratified convenience sampling method was used to select clinical male nurses as the participants from five tertiary and first-class comprehensive hospitals in Anhui Province. A cross-sectional survey was conducted using the general demoraphic questionnaire, Nurse Innovation Behavior Scale, Authentic Leadership Scale, and Psychological Capital Questionnaire. Potential profile analysis was conducted on the innovative behavior characteristics of male nurses, and single factor analysis and Logistic regression analysis were used to test the differences in male nurses' innovative behavior characteristics. Results:Among the 220 male nurses, 107 (48.64%) were under the age of 30, accounting for the largest proportion. The innovative behavior score of participants was (38.83 ± 7.80) points, which could be divided into three categories: low-level silent type (27.3%, 60/220), medium-level conservative type (44.5%, 98/220), and high-level active type (28.2%, 62/220). Compared to the low-level silent type, male nurses with higher levels of perceived authentic leadership were more likely to belong to the medium-level conservative type ( OR = 1.055, 95% CI 1.019 - 1.093, P<0.05) and the high-level active type ( OR = 1.124, 95% CI 1.066 - 1.184, P<0.01). The higher the level of psychological capital, the greater the probability that male nurses belong to the medium-level conservative type ( OR = 1.088, 95% CI 1.050 - 1.128, P<0.01) and the high-level active type ( OR = 1.273, 95% CI 1.196 - 1.355, P<0.01). Conclusions:The innovative behavior of male nurses in Anhui Province was at a medium level and had obvious classification characteristics. Nursing managers should focus on low-level silent type and medium-level conservative type male nurses, and adopt targeted interventions and support based on different category characteristics to improve their innovation behavior capacities in clinical settings.

Coagulase-negative Staphylococci(CoNS)are a group of gram-positive cocci incapable of producing co-agulase,which distinguishes them from Staphylococcus aureus.CoNS are widely distributed in natural environ-ment and are commonly found on skin, mucous membranes and other host-associated tissues. In recent years,CoNS have become one of the significant pathogenic factors for hospital-associated infections and have been partic-ularly prevalent among the patients with impaired immune function.Although the pathogenicity of CoNS is gener-ally considered lower than that of coagulase-positive Staphylococci, the widespread use of implanted medical de-vices and extensive use of antibiotics has led to increasingly serious problems of drug resistance, which has atta-ched great importance to the hospital. The databases such as PubMed,Embase and CNKI were retrieved to reveal the drug resistance mechanisms of CoNS,aiming to push forward the research and development of new drugs against drug-resistant bacteria and emerging diagnosis and treatment measures and provide scientific bases for sol-ving the problems of antibiotics resistance around the globe.

Objective To establish a scientific and feasible Chinese medicine(CM)comprehensive control and prevention program for elderly hypertension with early renal damage(EH-ERD)patients through high-level evidence-based medicine(EBM)evidence. Methods On the basis of literature research and evidence evaluation,we construct a database of specific prescriptions and implementation methods of CM comprehensive control and prevention program with EH-ERD.40 senior titled-experts were consulted in two rounds of questionnaires based on Delphi methods. We selected, evaluated, and revised specific CM comprehensive control and prevention program of EH-ERD through the analysis of multiple factors, such as expert's positive activity coefficient, authority coefficient, degree of opinion concentration and degree of coordination. Results In view of the CM appropriate intervention techniques with high-grade evidence(level Ⅰ and Ⅱ)and recommendation(level A and B),we have developed the CM comprehensive control and prevention plan items for EH-ERD.The activity coefficients in two-round consultation were 92.5%and 97.14%respectively,the overall authority coefficient(Cr)was exceeded 0.70,and the coordination coefficient was less than 0.25.With a sound activity coefficient,a relatively high Cr and a rather unified degree of opinion concentration and coordination, the CM comprehensive control and prevention program for EH-ERD was established, which included six primary indicators(CM compound preparation, acupuncture and massage,CM health education, medicinal diet therapy, health care exercise and foot bath)and seventeen secondary indicators. Conclusion The CM comprehensive control and prevention program for EH-ERD established in this study can provide a basis for the further formation of expert consensus or guidelines. Moreover,it can supply the strategy and paradigm for standardization of CM-based health management of EH-ERD.
