Objective To construct glucose oxidase（GOx）–loaded nanogels （GONGs）, optimize their formulation, and evaluate their capacity to inhibit the Warburg effect in glioma cells. Methods A responsive polymer （HAM） was synthesized and used to self-assemble GONGs, which were then characterized. Encapsulation efficiency and drug loading were determined using fluorescence spectrophotometry. Biocompatibility was tested by measuring cytotoxicity and hemolytic activity. Western blotting was used to evaluate the effects of GONGs on the expression of proteins associated with the Warburg phenotype and oxidative damage in glioma cells. Results GONGs prepared at a drug–to–polymer ratio of 1∶10 exhibited a particle size of 140.3 nm and a zeta potential of −27.2 mV. Compared with free GOx, GONGs markedly reduced cytotoxicity, increased the IC₅₀ in hUVEC cells from 2.150 nmol/L to 74.86 nmol/L, and significantly decreased hemolysis. At a GOx concentration of 2 nmol/L, GONGs effectively downregulated glycolysis-related proteins, such as HK2 and LDHA, and inhibited glutamine metabolism in glioma cells. Conclusion GONGs exhibited high GOx loading capacity, significantly reduced GOx-induced cytotoxicity, inhibited the Warburg effect in glioma cells and induced oxidative damage.

Objective To analyze the clinical characteristics and risk factors of noninfectious fever after endovascular repair of aortic dilatation diseases, and to explore management strategies. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of patients who underwent endovascular aortic repair for aortic dilatation diseases from January 2021 to October 2023. Based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, the enrolled patients were divided into a febrile group and an afebrile group according to the presence of postoperative fever. Clinical data, including demographics and surgical details, were compared between the two groups. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed on indicators with P≤0.05 in the univariate analysis, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were generated to analyze the predictive value of risk factors for postoperative noninfectious fever. Results A total of 305 patients were included in the final analysis. Postoperative noninfectious fever occurred in 75.08% (229/305) of the patients, with 98.25% of cases occurring within the first two postoperative days. The febrile group (n=229) had a median age of 65.0 (IQR: 53.0, 73.0) years with 83.4% males, while the afebrile group (n=76) had a median age of 71.0 (IQR: 65.0, 76.7) years with 84.2% males. Univariate analysis showed that the age, prevalence of coronary heart disease, preoperative statin use, and prevalence of aortic aneurysm were significantly lower in the febrile group compared to the afebrile group. Logistic regression analysis indicated that age, surgical site, disease type, preoperative elevated body temperature, and stent type were significantly associated with noninfectious fever, while preoperative statin use was negatively correlated. ROC curve analysis demonstrated that age, surgical site, preoperative elevated body temperature, and stent type had significant predictive value for postoperative noninfectious fever (P<0.01). Conclusion Noninfectious fever is highly prevalent following aortic repair. The relationship between fever and infection should be comprehensively evaluated based on risk factors and changes in the patient's condition to promote the rational use of antibiotics.

MethodsSixty-eight AECOPD patients with increased EOS who were hospitalized in the Department of Pulmonary Diseases of Jinhua Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from April 2023 to April 2024 were recruited and randomly assigned to an experimental group （EG） or a control group （CG）. Both groups received conventional Western medicine， with the EG additionally receiving Liujunzitang and Linggan Wuwei Jiangxintang. The therapeutic efficacy indicators were measured after the treatment. The main therapeutic efficacy indicators included partial pressure of oxygen （PaO₂） and partial pressure of carbon dioxide （PaCO₂）. The secondary efficacy indicators included the TCM symptom scores， the COPD Assessment Test （CAT） score， the Modified Medical Research Council （mMRC） Dyspnea Scale score， and the length of hospital stay. The indicators were measured at baseline and on days 3 and 7 of intervention. The safety was evaluated based on the adverse events. ResultsBaseline characteristics were not statistically different between the two groups. Compared with CG， EG showed no significant difference in PaO₂ （P=0.773）， PaCO₂ （P=0.632） and or CAT score （P=0.336） at on day 3 but better PaO₂ （P=0.004）， PaCO₂ （P=0.008）， and CAT score （P=0.013） were significantly better at on day 7. Compared with CGAfter treatment， EG had lower TCM syndrome scores of than CG EG on day 3 （P=0.005） and day 7 were significantly decreased （P0.001）. There was no significant difference in mMRC score between the two groups on day 3 （P=0.514） and day 7 （P=0.176） as wasor the length of hospital stay （P=0.915）. The generalized linear mixed model （GLMM） showed that compared with CG， EG had significant improvements over time in PaO₂， PaCO₂， TCM syndrome symptom scores， CAT score， and mMRC score. BACKGROUND:Pearl powder is rich in many active ingredients,which can promote the proliferation and migration of fibroblasts,thus promoting wound healing and skin tissue regeneration.However,the effect of nano-pearl powder water-soluble matrix on proliferation,migration and apoptosis of mouse fibroblasts L929 has not been reported.OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of nano-pearl powder water-soluble matrix on the proliferation,migration and apoptosis of mouse fibroblasts L929.METHODS:Passage 6 L929 cells were divided into five groups.The negative control group did not add any material;the positive control group added PBS,and the low,medium and high mass concentration groups of water-soluble matrix were added with 10,25 and 40 μg/mL of nano-pearl powder water-soluble matrix,respectively.The proliferation of L929 cells was detected by MTT assay.The migration ability of L929 cells was detected by Transwell.The apoptosis rate of L929 cells was detected by flow cytometry.The expressions of apoptosis-related proteins Bax,Bcl-2,and Caspase-1 were detected by western blot assay.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)The results of MTT assay and Transwell chamber experiment showed that the water-soluble matrix of nano-pearl powder could promote the proliferation and migration of L929 cells,and it was concentration dependent.(2)Flow cytometry and western blot assay results showed that the water-soluble matrix of nano-pearl powder could reduce the apoptosis rate of L929 cells and the protein expression of Bax and Caspase-1,and increase the expression of Bcl-2 protein,and it was concentration dependent.(3)These findings exhibited that the water-soluble matrix of nano-pearl powder could inhibit cell apoptosis under high mass concentration treatment.The results show that the water-soluble matrix of nano-pearl powder can promote the proliferation and migration of fibroblasts and inhibit the apoptosis of fibroblasts.

This paper summarizes Professor WANG Xixing's clinical experience in treating immune checkpoint inhibitor-related pneumonitis （CIP） based on the theory of "cough attributed to the five zang （脏） organs". Cough is a common predominant symptom of CIP. According to the theory of "cough attributed to the five zang organs"， drug toxicity triggers cancer toxin， leading to disharmony among the five zang organs， and then lung failing to diffuse and govern descent as the core pathogenesis. Therefore， treatment should focus on harmonizing the five zang organs to restore the normal function of lung qi to diffuse and govern descent. In clinical practice， CIP can be classified into four syndrome patterns， including lung yin depletion， deficiency of both the lung and the spleen with phlegm-dampness， liver fire harassing the lung， and lung-kidney yin deficiency. Correspondingly， Chaimai Jinluo Runfei Decoction （柴麦金络润肺汤） is used to nourish yin and moisten the lung； Qigui Peitu Huayin Decoction （芪桂培土化饮汤） is used to fortify the spleen and tonify the lung， resolve dampness and dispel phlegm； Chaidan Shuyu Runjin Decoction （柴丹疏郁润金汤） is used to drain liver and clear the lung； and Dimai Jinshui Xiangsheng Decoction （地脉金水相生汤） is used to nourish the kidney and moisten the lung.

In recent years, the integration of radiomics and artificial intelligence has brought revolutionary breakthroughs to the precise diagnosis and treatment of kidney tumors. This article systematically reviews the latest advances of radiomics in preoperative diagnosis, surgical planning, evaluation of postoperative prognosis, and prediction of treatment responses. Our findings show that radiomics models based on machine learning and deep learning can effectively distinguish benign and malignant kidney tumors, predict pathological classifications and nuclear gradings, and provide anatomical basis for the development of surgical plans. In addition, the rise of radiogenomics has revealed the association between radiomics features and molecular markers, opening up a new direction for the development of non-invasive biomarkers. However, there are still challenges such as insufficient data standardization, small sample size and model interpretability. In the future, multi-center collaboration can be achieved through federated learning, combined with multimodal data to construct dynamic prediction systems and develop interpretable artificial intelligence technology. This will promote the transformation of radiomics from scientific research to clinical applications, thus achieving precision and individualization of the entire process of diagnosis and treatment of renal tumors.

This paper summarizes professor BAI Yanping's clinical experience in treating rosacea. It is believed that stagnant heat in cutaneous collaterals serves as the core pathogenesis of rosacea， and the interbinding of static blood and heat as well as blockage of cutaneous collaterals constitute the key pathological links. The core therapeutic principles consist of nourishing blood， activating blood circulation to resolve stasis， clearing heat， relieving stagnation and unblocking collaterals. In clinic， Wenqing Decoction （温清饮） is adopted as the basic formula， with flexible modifications according to distinct clinical syndromes and stages of rosacea. Based on clinical syndromes， for erythematotelangiectatic rosacea， the treatment should focus on activating blood to unblock collaterals， clearing heat and cooling blood； for papulopustular rosacea， the treatment should focus on clearing heat and resolving toxins， and resolving stasis and dissipating masses； for hypertrophic phymatous rosacea， the treatment should simultaneously softening hard masses， dissipating stagnation， nourishing blood and moisturizing the skin； for ocular rosacea， the treatment should prioritize clearing liver heat to improve eyesight， unblocking orifices and eliminating heat. Based on the stages， in acute phase， heat-clearing， detoxifying and blood-cooling therapies are emphasized； for protracted chronic phase， concurrent regulation of static blood and heat plus blood-nourishing and collateral-unblocking methods are applied； the consolidation stage targets invigorating the spleen and replenishing qi to strengthen vital resistance and eliminate pathogenic factors. Meanwhile， precise compatibility of aromatic medicinals， blood-level medicinals and channel-guiding medicinals is highly valued. The therapy should balance systemic regulation and local lesion care， and combine internal and external treatment， which may provides clinical references for TCM intervention of rosacea.
