1.Guidelines for standardized implementation of pharmacist-managed clinics (2026 edition)

OBJECTIVE To formulate Guidelines for the standardized implementation of pharmacist-managed clinics ( 2026 edition ) in response to the challenges faced by such clinics in China, including uneven development, large discrepancies in service specifications, insufficient patient awareness, and limited medical insurance coverage. METHODS Led by the Pharmaceutical Affairs Professional Committee of the Chinese Hospital Association, the Evidence-based Pharmacy Professional Committee of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, and the Hospital Pharmacy Professional Committee of the Cross-strait Medical and Health Exchange Association, a total of 19 domestic hospital pharmacy experts were organized. Through a systematic review of national policies and literature research, current practical experience was summarized. Consensus on the contents of the guidelines was reached after in-depth discussions. RESULTS &CONCLUSIONS The guidelines covered five sections: definition and connotation of pharmacist-managed clinics, establishment requirements, implementation and management, post competency, and practical research. Firstly, the definition and connotation included three operational forms of pharmacist-managed clinics (independent mode, physician-pharmacist joint mode, and online pharmacist-managed clinic mode) and classified service modes (specialty-specific, drug-specific, and disease-specific pharmacist-managed clinics). The establishment requirements were further refined, covering system construction (pharmaceutical service management system, quality control and assessment mechanism), personnel qualifications (professional credentials, continuing education and professional training, etc), service recipients, as well as service venues and facilities. Subsequently, the implementation and management of pharmacist-managed clinics were proposed, involving service procedures, intervention measures, documentation and records, patient education and follow-up, humanistic care, as well as risk management and quality control. Finally, post competency encompassed the competency requirements for pharmacists providing services in pharmacist-managed clinics, as well as the suggestions on teaching methods; practical research encouraged the conduct of high-quality pharmaceutical practice in the setting of pharmacist-managed clinics. The guidelines provide valuable guidance for the standardized implementation of pharmacist-managed clinics in China in terms of establishment, management, teaching, and research, fill the guideline gap in this field, and can promote the high-quality development of pharmacist-managed clinics.
2.Chinese expert consensus on the Hazardous Drug List

OBJECTIVE To formulate the Hazardous Drug List in China, and provide a scientific basis for standardizing the management of hazardous drugs, preventing and controlling occupational exposure risks in medical institutions at all levels in China. METHODS Under the joint organization of the Intravenous Medication Admixture Management Professional Committee of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association and the National Medical Quality Control Center for Pharmaceutical Management, based on literature research and international hazardous drug lists and their development procedures, the scope of hazardous drug selection, selection principles, and evidence confirmation criteria were determined through expert panel seminars and expert questionnaire survey method (Delphi method). Chemical drugs, biological agents, and Chinese patent medicines marketed in China that met the selecti on principles were screened to form the Chinese Expert Consensus on the Hazardous Drug List . RESULTS Five principles for selecting hazardous drugs were established (including protective labeling in package inserts, carcinogenicity, reproductive toxicity, genotoxicity, and organ toxicity at low doses), along with the corresponding evidence confirmation criteria. The Hazardous Drug List containing 210 drugs was formulated, covering anti-tumor drugs, endocrine system drugs, nervous system drugs, immunomodulators, anti-infective drugs, cardiovascular system drugs, hematological system drugs, urinary system drugs, obstetrics and gynecology drugs, dermatological drugs and other categories. Compared with international hazardous drug lists, 25 newly included hazardous drugs were added, including 15 anti-tumor drugs, 6 Chinese patent medicines and 4 biological agents. In addition, 88 Chinese patent medicines that may have potential occupational exposure risks are listed in the appendix for reference by medical institutions in management. CONCLUSIONS The development of this consensus closely aligns with the actual clinical drug use in China, with a scientific and rigorous methodology, and can serve as a reference for medical institutions at all levels to standardize the management of hazardous drugs and prevent and control occupational exposure risks.
3.Cost-effectiveness of lecanemab for early Alzheimer disease

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the cost-effectiveness of lecanemab for early Alzheimer disease (AD) from a whole-society perspective. METHODS Based on data from the Clarity AD study, a global multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of lecanemab for early AD, a Markov model was developed according to the disease progression of AD, with a monthly cycle and a time horizon extending to 99% patient mortality. Quality-adjusted life year (QALY) and incremental cost-effectiveness ratio (ICER) were used as outcome indicators, with a willingness-to-pay (WTP) threshold set at twice China’s per capita gross domestic product (GDP) for 2025 (199 330.00 yuan/QALY). The model simulated the cost-effectiveness of lecanemab plus standard of care (SoC) versus placebo plus SoC for early AD. One-way sensitivity analysis, probabilistic sensitivity analysis, and scenario analysis were employed to test the robustness of the results. RESULTS Compared with placebo plus SoC, the ICER for lecanemab plus SoC was 4 364 711.54 yuan/QALY. One-way sensitivity analysis showed that the hazard ratio for disease progression, the price of lecanemab, body weight, the monthly progression probability of mild cognitive impairment, and the discount rate were key parameters affecting model robustness. Results of the probabilistic sensitivity analysis showed that the probability of lecanemab being cost-effective was 0 at the current WTP threshold. Scenario analysis indicated that a price reduction of at least 94.88% would be required for lecanemab to fall below the WTP threshold. CONCLUSIONS At the current WTP threshold, lecanemab plus SoC is not cost-effective compared with placebo plus SoC for early AD.

5.Research on the timely medication retrieval prediction model for outpatients based on a two-stage adaptive threshold ensemble learning algorithm

OBJECTIVE To construct a predictive model for timely medication retrieval of outpatients, accurately identify high-risk patients with delayed medication retrieval, and provide data support for the development of differentiated registration strategies and resource optimization allocation in smart pharmacies. METHODS Based on 680 568 valid outpatient prescription records from January to March 2025 at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, a dual-clustering analysis was conducted using K-means algorithm and Gaussian mixture model (GMM). An adaptive threshold for medication retrieval time difference was determined by combining contour coefficients, and “timely medication retrieval” and “delayed medication retrieval” were divided to construct binary objective variables; six types of features were screened through a multi-method fusion strategy; the performance of 6 kinds of base learners and 4 kinds of ensemble learning models were evaluated from three dimensions: discrimination, overall performance, and calibration, and explanatory analysis of the models were conducted. RESULTS The results of the dual-clustering analysis showed that the silhouette coefficient of GMM was better than K-means (0.702 4 vs. 0.698 8), and the final adaptive threshold was determined to be 49.82 min. Among the prescriptions included, 74.99% were for timely medication retrieval and 25.01% were for delayed medication retrieval. Among the 10 candidate models, the Stacking model performed the best, with an area under the test set curve of 0.954 4, F1 score of 0.942 4, accuracy of 0.911 5, Brier score of 0.066, and good discrimination and calibration. The explanatory analysis results of the model showed that its predictions were driven by multiple factors such as patient historical behavior, and diagnostic related characteristics. CONCLUSION This study constructed a timely medication retrieval prediction model for outpatients based on a two-stage adaptive threshold ensemble learning algorithm, which has high accuracy and stability, and can achieve dynamic judgment of patient medication retrieval behavior.

With the continuous development of healthcare industry,hospital publicity plays a pivotal role in brand con-struction,image shaping,and fostering harmonious doctor-patient relationships.This article highlights the strategic approach of The First Affiliated Hospital/School of Clinical Medicine of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University to bolstering its correspondent team and enhancing its publicity efforts.By establishing a"1+2+3"working system--one principle,two systems,and three types of training--the goal is to build a correspondent team that is politically steadfast,high-quality,and dedicated.From 2021 to 2023,the hospital has witnessed a notable improvement in submissions from the correspondents.These advancements have not only elevated the hospital's media output but also significantly contributed to the broader dissemination of its publicity materials and the advancement of its brand identity.These efforts support the favorable development of news and public opinion within the health industry.
9.Construction and Validation of Prognostic Risk Scoring Model for Uterine Corpus Endometrial Carcinoma Based on ADME-related Gene Markers

Objective To construct a prognostic model for uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma(UCEC)using the prognosis-associated ADME genes involved in controlling drug absorption,distribution,metabolism,and excretion(ADME),providing a reference for predicting the prognosis of UCEC and tumor treatment.Methods The gene expression and clinical information data of UCEC were obtained from the TCGA and ICGC databases.Prognosis-related ADME genes were screened using the univariate Cox regression analysis.Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)regression was used to identify optimal prognostic genes,and then a risk score model was constructed.Kaplan-Meier curve and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve were constructed to assess predictive capability.R software was used to perform differentially expressed genes anal-ysis,functional enrichment analysis.Results A nine-gene signature(DHRS7B,CYP46A1,SLCO4C1,NR1I2,SLC16A1,SLCO3A1,ARSA,ABCC5,MGST2)was used for constructing a risk score model.Survival analysis showed that the survival time in high-risk patients was significantly shorter than in low-risk patients(the train set:P<0.001;the test set:P=0.032).The are-as under the ROC curve of the train set and the test set for ROC at 1,3,5 years were 0.792,0.724,0.712,and 0.651,0.620,0.677,respectively.Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that the risk score was an independent risk factor for UCEC(HR=1.77,P=0.035).In addition,there was a significant difference in the miRNA-mediated silencing and regulation of sprouting angiogenesis pathways between the high-risk and low-risk score groups.Conclusion The prognosis model con-structed with nine key ADME genes may have the potential to be used for predicting the survival prognosis of patients with UCEC.

The construction of a medication safety culture is important for medication safety management and rational drug use.The construction of medication safety culture standards is formulated based on relevant national policies and regulations,accreditation standards for hospitals,expert opinions,the current situation,and the development trend of the healthcare industry.With scientificity,general applicability,instructive guidance,and practicality,they standardized basic requirements,management processes,and improvement of the construction of medication safety culture.To facilitate understanding and the implementation of the standards,we describe the process of standards formulation and explain the key points of the standards.
