Objective To explore the role of postdoctoral talent cultivation in high-quality development of public hospi-tals.Methods The data of 165 postdoctoral fellows were analyzed from Zhongshan Ophthalmology Center,Sun Yat-sen Univer-sity over the past decade. The analysis involved examining the entire management process from recruitment to completion,inclu-ding the improvement of relevant systems, evaluation standards, implementation of hierarchical management,mentor-student in-teractions,and academic exchanges,as well as studying the quality enhancement of the postdoctoral talent pool, research output, and employment analysis. Results The standardized management of whole postdoctoral cultivation process and the continuous improvement of systems significantly enhanced the achievements of postdoctoral fellows in research, publications, and commer-cialization of the scientific and research findings. For instance, from 2018 to 2022,the number of National Science Foundation-funded programs that the postdoctoral fellows obtained accounted for 26.7%of the total number, while the number of provincial and ministerial funded programs accounted for 73.3%.In 2020,the proportion of postdoctoral researchers who obtained the Na-tional Natural Science Foundation of China's Youth Program was 80%of the total. In 2021,the proportion of postdoctoral fellows who published papers with an impact factor of above 10 as the first author or co-first author was 45.83%.Conclusion The training of high-level medical postdoctoral talents is crucial for high-quality development of public hospitals, improving interdisci-plinary adaptability of postdoctoral fellows and collaborative mentorship awareness.

Background and purpose:We investigated whether lfuorine-18 lfuorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) maximal standard uptake value (SUVmax) of the primary tumor (SUV-T), SUVmax of the regional lymph nodes (SUV-N) or the overall loco-regional lesion SUVmax (SUV-TOTAL) was related to survival of patients with stage Ⅲ non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who received Cetuximab and combined definitive chemoradiotherpay. Methods:From September 2009 to July 2012, seventeen patients with unresectable stageⅢNSCLC receiving cetuximab with cisplatin/vinorelbine (NP) followed by concomitant NP and intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) at the Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center were enrolled onto a prospectively study. All patients received positron emission tomography/computerized tomography (PET/CT) scans within 2 weeks before enrolment. Univariate analysis were used to assess the correlation between SUV-T, SUV-N, SUV-TOTAL, gender, age, histology, tumour-node-metastasis (TNM) stage, performance status (PS) as well as smoking status and survival. The factors which showed statistical signiifcance entered into multivariate Cox-regression model. Survival functions of different populations were estimated by Kaplan-Meier method and compared by Log-rank test. Results:In the univariate analysis, SUV-T, SUV-N, SUV-TOTAL, PS and smoking status were prognostic factors. The best cut-off values for SUV-T, SUV-N and SUV-TOTAL were 11, 11 and 20, respectively. Multivariate analysis revealed that SUV-TOTAL (P=0.012), SUV-T (P=0.025), and SUV-N (P=0.033) were independent predictors of survival with hazard ratio (HR) of 14.7, 11.2, and 6.2, respectively. Conclusion:Local, regional and locoregional maximal SUVs deifned by 18F-FDG PET-CT scanning may have a strong correlation with survival in this patients setting, which merits further study.

Objective To study the genome molecular characteristics of Getah virus(DY0824)which isolated in Shandong province,2008 by molecular biology methods. Methods Reverse transcriptasepolymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)was used to amplify the structural gene and 3'UTR fragments then the RT-PCR products were inserted into PGEM-T easy to be sequenced.Computer software was used to analyze the nucleotide and deduced amino acid sequence, and draw phylogenetic trees, including Clustal X1.83 and MegaAlign and Mega4.Results The capsid protein of DY0824 consists of 804 nucleotides, encoding 268 amino acids and the full-length of E2 protein is 1266 nucleotides, encoding 422 amino acids. The nucleotide homology of the capsid protein and the E2 protein with other strains were 95.4%-99.9%and 94.8%-99.5%,and the amino acid were 97.4%-100%and 97.6%-100%.The 3'UTR of the virus include 401 nucleotides and there are three repeat sequence elements. Conclusion Compared with the prototype virus, the Getah virus isolated in Shandong province had 7 amino acid differences in capsid protein genes and 10 amino acid differences in E protein genes. The 3'UTR region had multi-nucleotide changes.

Objective:To study the effects of dexamethasone(DEX)on the cytotoxicity and apoptosis of NK-92MI cells and the mechanisms involved.Methods:NK-92MI cells were treated with different doses of DEX.The proliferative rate and cytotoxicity of the NK-92MI cells were detected by MTT colorimetry. The cell apoptotic rate was observed by flow cytometry with Annexin V and propidium iodide(PI)double staining. The expression of apoptosis-related gene,Bcl-2 and Bax was detected by RT-PCR.Results:After treated with 1?10-8mol/L to 1?10-3mol/L of DEX for 24 h,48 h and 72 h,the proliferation of NK-92MI cells was significant inhibited(P
