Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is a worldwide highly prevalent malignant tumor, and patients with advanced HCC often lose opportunity for surgery. The effect of TACE alone for treating advanced HCC is limited.Comprehensive treatment strategy, including TACE combined with ablation, hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy, molecular targeted drugs and immune checkpoint inhibitors can promote tumor necrosis, reverse the immunosuppressive microenvironment and prolong patient's survival period through synergistic mechanisms. The research progresses of combination therapy strategy of TACE and other methods for advanced HCC were reviewed in this article.

Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2025;58(3):272-275
Erosive pustular dermatosis of the scalp (EPDS) is a rare superficial skin inflammatory disease that occurs on the scalp, and its pathogenesis is still unclear. Its clinical manifestations are similar to those of infective inflammation and malignant tumors, and its diagnosis is highly dependent on non-specific pathological changes, so the diagnosis is relatively difficult. Clinically, topical glucocorticoids are the main treatment method, but treatment outcomes vary greatly among individuals, and patients with refractory EPDS need other treatment methods. EPDS generally requires long-term topical glucocorticoid therapy, and adverse drug reactions are common. This review summarizes research progress in EPDS in recent years, in order to improve clinicians' understanding of this disease.

Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2025;58(7):668-671
Congenital triangular alopecia is a kind of non-inflammatory and non-cicatricial alopecia, and most cases develop this disease at the ages of 2 - 9 years. The pathogenesis of congenital triangular alopecia is still unclear, and there is a lack of effective treatments. Congenital triangular alopecia is rather liable to be misdiagnosed and erroneously treated, and dermoscopy helps confirm the diagnosis. This review summarizes the progress in the epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical diagnosis, and treatment of congenital triangular alopecia.

Frontal fibrosing alopecia is a primary lymphocytic cicatricial alopecia, and is generally considered to be a subtype of lichen planopilaris due to similar histopathological changes. Its etiology is still unclear. With the deepening of research on this disease, more and more cases of frontal fibrosing alopecia have been reported in China and other countries. This review summarizes research progress in pathogenesis, clinical and pathological characteristics, and treatment of frontal fibrosing alopecia.

Chinese Medical Association and L′Oréal Group jointly launched "China Skin & Hair Grant" from 2003 to 2018 to support Chinese dermatologists in skin and hair research. This program has not only helped improve the research capability of Chinese dermatologists, but also yielded abundant valuable Chinese population-based clinical and basic research results, and further enabled active academic communication through Chinese and international journals and conferences. This article summarizes main results of scalp- and hair-related research projects based on program records and publications.

Chinese Journal of Reproduction and Contraception 2021;41(1):79-84
Ovarian tissue cryopreservation and transplantation technology plays an important role in preserving female fertility. However, the ischemic injury after frozen-thawed ovarian tissue transplantation is a key issue for the survival of the transplanted ovarian tissue and the restoration of reproductive endocrine function. The use of appropriate ovarian tissue cryopreservation and transplantation techniques, or the addition of angiogenic factors, hormones, antioxidants, and Chinese medicine can effectively promote the angiogenesis of frozen-thawed ovarian tissue after transplantation, and improve the survival rate of follicles and the recovery of reproductive function. This article reviews the occurrence of ischemic injury after frozen-thawed ovarian tissue transplantation and how to promote angiogenesis.
