Acute pancreatitis(AP)is a frequently encountered acute abdominal syndrome in clinical settings,and the integrated model of traditional Chinese and Western medicine(TCM-WM)has demonstrated notable advantages in the diagnosis and treatment of AP.To systematize and standardize clinical practices related to develop clinical pathway for integrated TCM-WM diagnosis and treatment of AP,which enhances the efficiency and quality of patient care.This pathway focuses on AP,a common acute and life-threatening disease within the digestive system,and outlines that the central pathological mechanism involves pancreatic injury and localized inflammation resulting from the abnormal activation of pancreatic enzymes.It has the characteristics of rapid onset,multiple causes,and complex manifestations.Severe cases can be life-threatening.At present,conventional treatments encompass a diverse range of modalities.Moreover,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)holds distinct advantages in alleviating relevant symptoms,and TCM-WM is gaining increasing prevalence.To enhance the standardization and consistency of diagnostic and therapeutic practices,this clinical pathway clearly delineates the target patient population,which includes individuals diagnosed with abdominal pain disorder according to TCM and with AP in accordance with WM criteria,as well as the corresponding inclusion standards.The diagnostic framework integrates both TCM and WM guidelines,and further incorporates disease staging,severity grading,and syndrome differentiation to support a comprehensive and integrated diagnostic strategy.The treatment integrates approaches from both TCM and WM.Within the WM framework,interventions consist of basic supportive care,infection control,nutritional support,and the management of complications.In the context of TCM,the protocol includes syndrome differentiation and corresponding therapeutic strategies(Distinct syndrome patterns are identified and managed during the acute and convalescent phases),such as acupuncture and retention enema.This clinical pathway addresses multiple key components,including preventive strategies,post-treatment follow-up,criteria for evaluating therapeutic efficacy,admission and discharge,admission examination protocols,discharge criteria,and the rationale for deviations or withdrawal from the pathway.It is designed to provide a systematic and standardized reference framework for relevant clinical practices.

Objective : To investigate the effect of long non-coding RNA LUCAT1 (lncRNA LUCAT1) on the biological behavior of MIA PaCa-2 in human pancreatic cancer cells , and to explore the potential role of LUCAT1 in the malignant progression of pancreatic cancer. Methods : The mutation and expression of LUCAT1 in pancreatic cancer were analyzed by GEPIA , the expression levels of LUCAT1 in human pancreatic ductal cells HPNE and hu- man pancreatic cancer cells were detected by q-PCR , and the expression and distribution of LUCAT1 in human pancreatic cancer tissues were detected by FISH . CCK-8 assay and Transwell assay were used to detect the effects of LUCAT1 on the proliferation , apoptosis , drug resistance , and migration of MIA PaCa-2 cells . Gene ensemble enrichment analysis was performed to compare the related signaling pathways involved in LUCAT1 , and Western blot assay was used to verify the protein expression level . Results : The results of GEPIA analysis showed that the expression level of LUCAT1 in human pancreatic cancer tissues was up-regulated , and the expression of LUCAT1 in human pancreatic cancer cells was significantly higher ( P < 0. 05 ) . Knockdown and overexpression of LUCAT1 could affect the proliferation , apoptosis , gemcitabine resistance , migration and invasion of pancreatic cancer cells , and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0. 05) . In addition , LUCAT1 affected p-Akt expression levels in pancreatic cancer and was inhibited after treatment with Akt inhibitor MK-2206 . Conclusion LUCAT1 regulates the malignant progression of MIA PaCa-2 in pancreatic cancer cells through the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway.

Objective:To compare the changes in fracture displacement under different vertical loadings between the 2 different internal fixation modalities for vertically unstable femoral neck fractures of Pauwels type Ⅲ by a mechanical study and a finite element analysis.Methods:Twelve biomimic bones were transversely dissected from 10 cm below the lesser trochanter of the femur to create femoral neck fracture models with a Pauwels angle of 70° using a swing saw. The models were equally divided into 2 groups ( n=6): group A was fixed with 3 cannulated screws after fracture reduction (scheme A), and group B with 3 cannulated screws plus a self-designed anteromedial support plate after fracture reduction (scheme B). Continuous vertical force was applied using a mechanical testing machine. Changes in displacement were recorded and load-displacement curves were plotted. Helicobacter pylori infection is an important causative factor in a variety of gastrointestinal diseases,such as atrophic gastritis,peptic ulcer disease,and gastric cancer.Timely eradication treatment is con-ducive to maintaining the health of patients.With the increase of drug resistance in Helicobacter pylori,dual therapy with proton pump inhibitors combined with high-dose amoxicillin has gradually gained attention.Potassium-competitive acid blockers are new types of antacids that have a faster onset of action and a longer lasting acid sup-pression effect than traditional proton pump inhibitors,making it more suitable for dual therapy.In recent years,scholars have carried out a lot of exploration,improvement and verification of potassium-competitive acid blockers dual therapy,and this article reviews its research progress.

Objective:To explore the effect of progressive case teaching based on Omaha system in standardized training for new nurses.Methods:Using convenience sampling method, 58 new nurses from Yantai Affiliated Hospital of Binzhou Medical University from January to December 2021 were selected as control group, and 58 new nurses from January to December 2022 were selected as experimental group. Experimental group received progressive case teaching based on Omaha system, while control group received routine standardized training. Both groups received training for six months. After six months of training, the academic performance, clinical thinking ability, and satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results:After intervention, experimental group scored higher in various dimensions of academic performance and clinical thinking ability, as well as satisfaction scores with the teacher, teaching methods, and teaching effectiveness, compared to the control group, with statistical differences ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:The progressive case teaching based on Omaha system in standardized training for new nurses can improve academic performance, enhance clinical thinking abilities, and gain recognition from new nurses.

Background: The impact of para-aortic lymphadenectomy (PALD) on prognosis and quality of life (QoL) for IB2-IIA2 cervical cancer patients remain controversial. And whether intraoperative frozen pathology exam on common iliac lymph nodes could help predict para-aortic lymph node (PALN) metastasis was unanswered with high-level evidence. Methods A multi-center, randomized controlled study is intended to investigate the effect of PALD on the prognosis and QoL in cervical cancer patients and to assess the value of intraoperative frozen pathological evaluation of common iliac nodes metastasis for the prediction of PALN metastasis. After choosing whether to receive intraoperative frozen pathological examination of bilateral common iliac lymph nodes, eligible patients will be randomly assigned (1:1) to receive PALD or not. The primary end point is 2-year progression-free survival (PFS). The secondary end points include 5-year PFS, 2-year overall survival (OS), 5-year OS, adverse events (AEs) caused by PALD, AEs caused by radiotherapy and QoL. A total of 728 patients will be enrolled from 8 hospitals in China within 3-year period and followed up for 5 years.
