Temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis(TMJOA)is a chronic degenerative disorder.Although current clinical interven-tions can effectively mitigate disease progression,they remain limited in fully reversing formed pathological structural alterations.Mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes(MSC-Exos),which mimic the primary therapeutic functions of mesenchymal stem cells,exhibit advantages such as excellent biocompatibility,low immunogenicity,and absence of cytotoxicity.In TMJOA,MSC-Exos exert therapeutic effects by modulating chondrocytes,immune cells,and the cartilage matrix.However,the clinical application of MSC-Exos still faces certain limitations.Enhancing their therapeutic efficacy has become a central research focus in this field.This review summarizes existing therapeutic strategies for TMJOA and explores the potential applications of MSC-Exos in TMJOA management,aiming to provide insights for future research.

3.Correlation analysis between inflammatory markers in complete blood counts and influenza A virus infection

Objective To retrospectively analyze the correlation between inflammatory markers in complete blood counts(CBC)and influenza A virus infection in patients visited the outpatient department of Nanjing First Hospital.Methods The suspected influenza A virus infection patients visited the outpatient department of Nanjing First Hospital from February to March 2023 were collected and di-vided into the positive and negative groups based on the detection results of influenza A virus antigen.The differences in inflammatory markers in CBC between the two groups were compared.The Logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate the correlation between inflammatory markers and influenza A virus infection.Meanwhile,the restricted cubic spline(RCS)and age subgroup(≤6 years,7-12 years,13-17 years,and ≥18 years)analysis were also performed.Results A total of 1 487 outpatients were included,of which 404(27.2%)were positive for influenza A virus antigen.The Logistic regression analysis showed that white blood cell count(WBC),lymphocyte percentage(LY%),and lymphocyte count(LYM)were significantly negatively correlated with influenza A virus infection(P<0.01),while the neutrophil percentage(NE%),monocyte/lymphocyte ratio(MLR),and neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR)were significantly positively correlated with influenza A virus infection(P<0.01).The RCS analysis exhibited the same trend.The age subgroup analysis showed that when the age was greater than 6 years,LYM was significantly negatively correlated with influenza A virus infection(P<0.01).When the age was greater than 12 years,MLR was significantly positively correlated with influenza A virus infec-tion(P<0.01).Conclusion The WBC,LY%,LYM,NE%,MLR,and NLR in CBC parameters are important indicators associated with the occurrence of Influenza A virus infection,especially LYM in patients aged over 6 years and MLR in patients aged over 12 years,which may serve as biomarkers for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of influenza A virus infection.

Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related mortality among women worldwide and has drawn extensive research attention.Owing to its molecular heterogeneity,drug resistance,and low therapeutic response,single-modality treatments often fail to achieve satisfactory efficacy or broad applicability.Combination therapy,designed based on the pathophysiological characteristics,related signaling pathways,and biomarkers of breast cancer,has emerged as a promising approach for improving therapeutic outcomes.With the advancement of research on combination strategies,the understanding of their molecular mechanisms—particularly key signaling pathways and biomarkers—has become increasingly important.However,comprehensive reviews addressing these molecular mechanisms and synergistic strategies remain scarce.This article summarizes recent advances in combination therapy for breast cancer,providing a comprehensive review of recent combination therapies for breast cancer and their underlying molecular mechanisms,and focusing on key signaling pathways involved in combination therapy and synergistic strategies,thereby providing theoretical insights and reference for researchers,graduate students,and clinicians engaged in the development of novel combination therapeutic strategies for breast cancer and related malignancies.
5.Latent profile analysis and influencing factors of rehabilitation motivation in elderly patients with first stroke

Objective:To explore the potential profile characteristics and influencing factors of rehabilitation motivation in elderly patients with first stroke, so as to provide reference for promoting precise rehabilitation mode.Methods:A convenience sampling method was employed to conduct a cross-sectional survey of elderly patients with first stroke admitted to the Huanhu Hospital Affiliated to Tianjin Medical University from October 2024 to March 2025. The survey utilized a general information questionnaire, the Motivation in Stroke Patients for Rehabilitation Scale, the Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS), the Exercise Adherence Questionnaire (EAQ), and the Stroke Stigma Scale (SSS). Potential categories of rehabilitation motivation among elderly patients with first stroke were identified using latent profile analysis, and the influencing factors of these potential categories were explored using the ordered multinomial Logistic regression.Results:A total of 290 survey questionnaires were distributed, and 281 valid questionnaires were collected, with an effective response rate of 96.9%(281/290). Among 281 elderly patients with first stroke, there were 152 males and 129 females, with an age of (68.68 ± 6.89) years. The score of the Motivation in Stroke Patients for Rehabilitation Scale was 56.00 (36.00, 68.00) points. Rehabilitation motivation among elderly patients with first stroke could be categorized into three groups: low motivation-lack of family support and unclear goals group (44.1%, 124/281), moderate motivation-social reintegration driven but insufficient behavior group (41.3%, 116/281), and high motivation autonomous planning adaptation and value internalization group (14.6%, 41/281). The ordered multinomial Logistic regression analysis showed that compared to patients aged ≥80 years, patients aged 60-69 years were less likely to belong to the high motivation autonomous planning adaptation and value internalization group ( OR=0.231, P<0.05). Compared to patients with a per capita monthly income of ≥5 001 yuan, patients with a per capita monthly income of 3 001-5 000 yuan were more likely to belong to the high motivation autonomous planning adaptation and value internalization group ( OR=2.340, P<0.05). Compared to heavily dependent patients, patients who were completely independent ( OR=0.160, P<0.05), mildly dependent ( OR=0.155, P<0.01), and moderately dependent ( OR=0.211, P<0.05) were less likely to belong to the high motivation autonomous planning adaptation and value internalization group. The higher the EAQ score, the more likely patients were to belong to the high motivation autonomous planning adaptation and value internalization group ( OR=1.139, P<0.01). The higher the PSSS score, the more likely patients were to belong to the high motivation autonomous planning adaptation and value internalization group ( OR=1.108, P<0.01). The higher the SSS score, the less likely patients were to belong to the high motivation autonomous planning adaptation and value internalization group ( OR=0.787, P<0.01). Conclusions:Healthcare professionals can develop targeted intervention strategies based on the characteristics and influencing factors of patients' different rehabilitation motivations, thereby enhancing their rehabilitation motivation and promoting patient recovery.
6.Latent profile analysis and influencing factors of intrinsic ability among elderly patients with ischemic stroke

Objective:To explore the potential categories of internal ability of elderly patients with ischemic stroke, identify the influencing factors and propose corresponding nursing interventions.Methods:This was a cross-sectional study. From January 2025 to May 2025, the elderly patients with ischemic stroke in Tianjin Huanhu Hospital were selected by convenient sampling method. The general information questionnaire, the Internal Capacity Assessment Scale for the Older People, the Health Literacy Scale for stroke patients and the Perceived Social Support Scale were used to investigate. To determine latent categories of patients' intrinsic capacity, potential profile analysis was employed. Subsequently, multivariable Logistic regression examined factors associated with these categories.Results:A total of 260 survey questionnaires were distributed, and 256 valid questionnaires were finally collected, with an effective response rate of 98.46% (256/260). Among of them, there were 166 males and 90 females, aged 68.00 (63.00, 74.00) years.The intrinsic ability of elderly patients with ischemic stroke could be divided into three potential categories: low sensation-low exercise group (27.0%, 69/256), relatively stable intrinsic ability group (37.5%, 96/256) and low cognition-low psychology group (35.5%, 91/256). Multivariable Logistic regression showed that advanced age (compared to the low sensation-low exercise group, OR=0.902; compared to the relatively stable intrinsic ability group, OR=0.813), smoking (compared to the low sensation-low exercise group, OR=0.459; compared to the relatively stable intrinsic ability group, OR=0.442), the lower the Barthel index (compared to the low sensation-low exercise group, ≤40 points with OR=0.157; 41-60 points with OR=0.285) were more likely to enter the low cognition-low psychology group (all P<0.05); other chronic disease types ≤1 (compared to the low cognition-low psychology group, OR=2.630), higher health literacy scores (compared to the low cognition-low psychology group, OR=1.033) were more likely to enter the relatively stable intrinsic ability group (both P<0.05); and stroke frequency was the first occurrence (compared to the low cognition-low psychology group, OR=2.725) was more likely to enter the low sensation-low exercise group ( P<0.05). Conclusions:In older adults with ischemic stroke, the characteristics of intrinsic ability are clearly categorized. To enhance patient outcomes, healthcare professionals are advised to tailor nursing interventions based on the unique features and specific influencing factors associated with each potential category.

8.Real experience of continuous renal replacement therapy in ICU patients: a qualitative study

Objective:To explore the real experience of ICU patients during continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and to inform the development of interventions.Methods:This study was a qualitative study. Using the social ecosystem theory as a theoretical framework and purposive sampling method, 15 ICU patients who received CRRT at Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University from May 2023 to February 2024 were selected for semi-structured interviews. Colaizzi 7-step analysis was applied to analyze the data.Results:A total of three themes and 11 sub-themes were summarized, including microsystems (symptom improvement, limited mobility and self-care, sleep disorders, hypothermia, emotional overload, hope and gratitude), mesosystems (heavy financial burden, disrupted rhythm of family life, dependence on peer support), and macrosystems (information support needs to be improved, expectation of an open ICU visitation system) .Conclusions:The social ecosystem of patients with CRRT in the ICU is not optimistic. Healthcare professionals should provide appropriate support for patients to facilitate their physical and psychological recovery.
9.Research advances of association between age at natural menopause and diabetes risk: evidence from prospective studies

The menopausal age is one of the important menopausal factors, and women of different menopausal ages have different risks of diabetes. This study reviewed the evidence from prospective studies on the association between the age at natural menopause and diabetes risk, both domestically and internationally, and presented its research design and main findings. Advanced menopause, especially premature and early menopause, will increase the risk of diabetes in postmenopausal women. The research on the influence of delayed menopause on the incidence of diabetes is still insufficient. Many factors may modify the association between menopausal age and the risk of diabetes.
10.Equity of human resource allocation in centers for disease control and prevention in China based on agglomeration degree

Objective:
To evaluate the equity of human resource allocation in centers for disease control and prevention (CDCs) in China, so as to provide insights into optimizing human resource and promoting the high-quality development of CDCs.
Methods:
The number, age, educational level and professional title of CDCs personnel from 2017 to 2021 were collected from China Health Statistics Yearbook and China Statistical Yearbook. General information of human resource in CDCs across different provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) was described, and the equity of human resource allocation was assessed using agglomeration degree.
Results:
The number of personnel in CDCs was 190 730 in 2017, and it began to increase from 2020, reaching 209 550 in 2021, with an average annual growth rate of 2.47%. The staffing gap decreased from 52 534 to 37 655. The proportion of personnel aged 55 years and older increased from 10.74% to 16.69%, the proportion of personnel with a bachelor's degree or above increased from 36.50% to 47.80%, the proportion of personnel with senior professional titles increased from 9.75% to 13.31%, and the number of personnel per 10 000 permanent residents increased from 1.36 to 1.48. Agglomeration degree analysis indicated that the equity of human resource allocation in terms of both geography and population was relatively good among the CDCs of 12 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) including Beijing, Tianjin and Liaoning; the equity of human resource allocation was relatively good in terms of geography and was relatively poor in terms of population among 11 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) including Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang; the equity of human resource allocation was relatively poor in terms of geography and was relatively good in terms of population among the CDCs of 8 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) including Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang and Hainan.
Conclusions
Although there was an increase in the number of personnel in CDCs from 2017 to 2021, the growth rate was low. There were differences in the equity of human resource allocation among provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities), with a relative shortage of human resource in CDCs in the east area.
