Chronic post-surgical pain (CPSP) is a common long-term complication following lung surgery. Its high incidence significantly impacts patients’ quality of life and functional recovery, and imposes a substantial socioeconomic burden. This consensus aims to systematically establish a standardized integrated Chinese and Western medicine diagnostic and treatment framework for chronic post-lung surgery pain (CPLSP). Based on the latest domestic and international evidence-based medical research and multidisciplinary clinical experience, the working group comprehensively elaborates on core issues regarding CPLSP, including its definition, epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical assessment, Western medical treatment, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment, and integrated strategies. The consensus emphasizes a patient-centered approach, adhering to the principles of multimodality, individualization, and stepwise management, highlighting the synergistic advantages of integrating Chinese and Western medicine throughout the entire perioperative management cycle encompassing "perioperative anti-inflammation, acute analgesia, and chronic rehabilitation." Through systematic literature retrieval and evidence integration, a total of 9 core recommendations were established to provide scientifically sound and clinically practical guidance.

Artificial intelligence has brought leapfrog development to medical education， and the fourth generation of medical education， characterized by health-centered， cross-disciplinary integration and extensive application of AI technologies， is on the horizon. AI-empowered medical education provides educators with multifaceted assistance， such as aiding in lesson plan design and facilitating curriculum planning. However， the particularity of medical education and the mechanical nature of AI algorithms have led to ethical dilemmas when AI is integrated into medical education， such as alienation of the teacher-student relationship and imbalance of teaching and learning relationship， the loss of humanistic spirit and deviation from the essence of medical education， as well as failure of subject rights and algorithm infringement of personal rights and interests. Confronting the ethical dilemmas of AI-empowered higher medical education， collaborative governance among the government， society， hospitals， and schools is necessitated. Countermeasures must be implemented across multiple dimensions， such as reshaping the individual teachers and students to consolidate the balance of teaching， strengthening the humanistic spirit to return medical humanities to their essence， and improving the ethical environment to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the subjects.

Objective: To quantitatively assess the health risk of preservatives from beverages around primary schools in Anshun City, and to provide scientific basis for precise food safety supervision. Methods: From December 2023 to July 2024, 602 beverage samples were randomly collected from within 100 meters of 19 primary schools in Anshun City. The content of benzoic acid, sorbic acid, and dehydroacetic acid was detected according to GB 5009 series standards. Combined with children s physiological parameters (body weight 30 kg, daily intake 0.15 L), the Hazard Quotient (HQ) and Hazard Index (HI) models were used to evaluate health risks. Results: The total detection rate of preservatives from beverages around primary schools was 63.0%, and the total over limit rate was 9.0%. The detection rate of preservatives in flavored beverages was the highest (72.6%), and the highest over limit rate of preservatives in special purpose beverages was the highest (17.2%). The single preservative HQ (benzoic acid up to 0.47 ) and mixed HI (up to 0.55) of all samples were below 1(safety threshold). However, the HQ value of benzoic acid in flavored beverages (0.47) was 2.9 times that of sorbic acid (0.16), contributing significantly to health risk. Sensitivity analysis showed that if the daily consumption increased to 0.3 L, the HI value of flavored beverages would rise to 1.11, exceeding the safety threshold. Enterprise scale analysis showed that the exceedance rate of special purpose beverages in large enterprises reached 30.0%, while micro enterprises, accounting for a dominant market share (52.2%), constituted the main source of children s daily exposure to their products. Conclusions The overall health risk of perservatives in beverages sold near primary schools in Anshun City is controllable, but there is a noticeable risk of gradient. The risk of children’s exposure to preservatives through beverage consumption should not be ignored.

Allergic diseases exhibited the characteristics of latent concealment and dynamic transmutation， which highly align with the pathogenic features of "latency and transformative change" described in the theory of latent pathogens. Based on the "latent pathogens with transformative potential" theory， this paper systematically explored the mechanisms of occurrence， transmission， and outcome of allergic diseases. It proposed that the insufficiency of kidney essence is the root cause enabling pathogens to lurk internally， leading to disease onset due to deficient healthy qi and lurking pathogens； the dysfunction of sanjiao serves as the pathway for pathogen stagnation， driving multi-system transmission； the accumulation of phlegm， stasis， and toxins constitutes the predicament of a protracted course， ultimately resulting in intractable pathological entanglement. Accordingly， a tiered intervention strategy is formulated，i.e. during the latency period， treatment should tonify the kidney and replenish essence to consolidate the foundation and halt the tendency of pathogens to lurk internally； during the transmission period， treatment should regulate sanjiao to intercept disease transmission and curb multi-system proliferation； during the protracted period， treatment should purge phlegm and resolve stasis to eliminate stubborn lesions， and break the vicious cycle of chronic accumulation and damage.

Objective: To investigate the development status and associated factors of social emotional competence(SEC) among disadvantaged children aged 3-6 in rural areas of Guangxi, so as to provide empirical evidence to address the negative impacts of their disadvantaged circumstance. Methods: In May 2025, using convenience sampling, a study was conducted with 1 426 children aged 3-6 from disadvantaged backgrounds attending 11 rural kindergartens in Guilin, Liuzhou, and Qinzhou, Guangxi. A self designed questionnaire was used to investigate children s personal basic information, family situation (parents education level, family structure, parent-child separation status, family poverty status, multiple disadvantaged situations, family function) and kindergarten situation. Social Emotional Learning Rating Form-Parent (SELRF-P) was used to assess their social emotional competence. Latent profile analysis (LPA) and multiple Logistic regression were applied for data classification and related factor analysis, respectively. Results: The social emotional competence of disadvantaged children was categorized into four groups: well adjusted group (4.77%, n =68), basically adjusted group (38.43%, n =548), potential risk group (25.11%, n =358), and high risk delayed development group (31.69%, n = 452). Multinomial Logistic regression analysis revealed that family poverty ( OR = 1.98 ), parental education level of high school/technical secondary school or below ( OR =2.89), non parental caregivers ( OR = 3.81 ), private and non model kindergartens ( OR =1.96, 3.52), younger age (3 or 4 years old) ( OR =2.61, 2.79), low family cohesion ( OR =4.05), weak family adaptability ( OR =3.95), and multiple disadvantages ( OR =2.35) were more likely to lead children into the high risk delayed group; children seperated from parents were more likely to fall into the potential risk group ( OR = 1.82), while children from divorced families were less likely to enter the basically adjusted group ( OR =0.45) (all P <0.05). Conclusions Social emotional competence among disadvantaged children aged 3-6 years in rural areas shows significant group heterogeneity. Age, specific types of disadvantage, family functioning, and kindergarten characteristics are the main related factors. Precise intervention measures should be paid to improve the social emotional developmental difficulties of various disadvantaged children.

Objective To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of malaria and provide a basis for developing improved prevention and control measures. Methods Data were obtained from the Chinese Disease Prevention and Control Information System. Malaria surveillance data for Nanning City from January 1,2023, to December 31,2024, were exported from the Infectious Disease Reporting Information Management Subsystem. The characteristics of the two groups of malaria cases were compared. Results A total of 103 imported malaria cases were reported in Nanning City in 2024, representing a 38.32% decrease compared with the same period of the previous year. No statistically significant difference were observed between cases reported in 2023 and 2024 in terms of average age, gender ratio, proportion of parasite species, and monthly reporting distribution;however, statistically significant differences were found in the proportion of reporting areas and current residence areas(χ2= 13.572 and 10.355, respectively; P = 0.001 and 0.035, respectively). The proportion of cases reported in Shanglin County and the proportion of cases residing in Shanglin County were both lower than those during the same period of the previous year. Conclusions The high aggregation of imported malaria cases in Nanning City has decreased. Medical institutions in areas other than Shanglin County should strengthen their vigilance against malaria.

ObjectiveTo establish a model that can quickly identify the aroma components in different parts of Nardostachys jatamansi， so as to provide a quality control basis for the market circulation and clinical use of N. jatamansi. MethodsHeadspace solid-phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry（HS-SPME-GC-MS） combined with Smart aroma database and National Institute of Standards and Technology（NIST） database were used to characterize the aroma components in different parts of N. jatamansi， and the aroma components were quantified according to relative response factor（RRF） and three internal standards， and the markers of aroma differences in different parts of N. jatamansi were identified by orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis（OPLS-DA） and cluster thermal analysis based on variable importance in the projection（VIP） value >1 and P<0.01. The odor data of different parts of N. jatamansi were collected by Heracles Ⅱ Neo ultra-fast gas phase electronic nose， and the correlation between compound types of aroma components collected by the ultra-fast gas phase electronic nose and the detection results of HS-SPME-GC-MS was investigated by drawing odor fingerprints and odor response radargrams. Chromatographic peak information with distinguishing ability≥0.700 and peak area≥200 was selected as sensor data， and the rapid identification model of different parts of N. jatamansi was established by principal component analysis（PCA）， discriminant factor alysis（DFA）， soft independent modeling of class analogies（SIMCA） and statistical quality control analysis（SQCA）. ResultsThe HS-SPME-GC-MS results showed that there were 28 common components in the underground and aboveground parts of N. jatamansi， of which 22 could be quantified and 12 significantly different components were screened out. Among these 12 components， the contents of five components（ethyl isovalerate， 2-pentylfuran， benzyl alcohol， nonanal and glacial acetic acid，） in the aboveground part of N. jatamansi were significantly higher than those in the underground part（P<0.01）， the contents of β-ionone， patchouli alcohol， α-caryophyllene， linalyl butyrate， valencene， 1，8-cineole and p-cymene in the underground part of N. jatamansi were significantly higher than those in the aboveground part（P<0.01）. Heracles Ⅱ Neo electronic nose results showed that the PCA discrimination index of the underground and aboveground parts of N. jatamansi was 82， and the contribution rates of the principal component factors were 99.94% and 99.89% when 2 and 3 principal components were extracted， respectively. The contribution rate of the discriminant factor 1 of the DFA model constructed on the basis of PCA was 100%， the validation score of the SIMCA model for discrimination of the two parts was 99， and SQCA could clearly distinguish different parts of N. jatamansi. ConclusionHS-SPME-GC-MS can clarify the differential markers of underground and aboveground parts of N. jatamansi. The four analytical models provided by Heracles Ⅱ Neo electronic nose（PCA， DFA， SIMCA and SQCA） can realize the rapid identification of different parts of N. jatamansi. Combining the two results， it is speculated that terpenes and carboxylic acids may be the main factors contributing to the difference in aroma between the underground and aboveground parts of N. jatamansi.

The Expert Consensus on Clinical Application of Qinbaohong Zhike Oral Liquid in Treatment of Acute Bronchitis and Acute Attack of Chronic Bronchitis （GS/CACM 337-2023） was released by the China Association of Chinese Medicine on December 13^th， 2023. This expert consensus was developed by experts in methodology， pharmacy， and Chinese medicine in strict accordance with the development requirements of the China Association of Chinese Medicine （CACM） and based on the latest medical evidence and the clinical medication experience of well-known experts in the fields of respiratory medicine （pulmonary diseases） and pediatrics. This expert consensus defines the application of Qinbaohong Zhike oral liquid in the treatment of cough and excessive sputum caused by phlegm-heat obstructing lung， acute bronchitis， and acute attack of chronic bronchitis from the aspects of applicable populations， efficacy evaluation， usage， dosage， drug combination， and safety. It is expected to guide the rational drug use in medical and health institutions， give full play to the unique value of Qinbaohong Zhike oral liquid， and vigorously promote the inheritance and innovation of Chinese patent medicines.

Objective: To investigate the association of physical activity and screen time with overweight and obesity among children and adolescents with special needs in Tianjin, so as to provide scientific evidence for childhood obesity prevention and intervention measures in the population. Methods: From January 2022 to June 2024, 296 children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders aged 2-18 years were recruited from special education schools and institutions in Tianjin. Height and weight were measured, and a standardized questionnaire was used to assess physical activity and screen time. Binary Logistic regression analysis was carried out to investigate the association of physical activity and screen time with overweight and obesity. Results: The prevalence of overweight and obesity among children and adolescents with special needs in Tianjin were 17.2% and 21.6%, respectively, and the combined prevalence of overweight and obesity was 38.9%. The median of moderatetovigorous physical activity (MVPA) time was 0.20 h/d, and physical activity sufficiency rate was 7.8%. The median of screen time was 1.79 h/d, and the screen time compliance rate was 68.2%. The binary Logistic regression results showed that lower levels of MVPA time and increased screen time were associated with a higher risk of overweight and obesity among children and adolescents with special needs [OR(95%CI)=1.80(1.06-3.07), 2.40(1.42-4.07),P<0.05]. Conclusions Insufficient physical activity and excessive screen time are associated with an increased risk of overweight and obesity among children and adolescents with special needs. Therefore, comprehensive intervention measures should be implemented as early as possible to prevent and reduce the incidence of overweight and obesity in this population.

Objective To investigate the feasibility and efficacy of mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) in the management of chronic pain among military personnel stationed in plateau area of China. Methods Military personnel who had been stationed at an altitude ranging from 3 300 to 3 500 meters for over four months and suffered from chronic pain were selected as the study subjects by the judgment sampling method. A total of 51 individuals were assigned to the control group, and 53 individuals were assigned to the MBSR group using the random number table method. Individuals of the control group received conventional pain management, while the MBSR group received an additional eight-week MBSR training alongside conventional management. Pain, mindfulness levels, mood state, and psychological resilience of individuals were assessed before and 12 weeks after the intervention using the Brief Pain Inventory (BPI), the Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire-Short Form, the Profile of Mood States, and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale. Results After the intervention, the BPI scores, and the scores of the pain intensity and pain impact dimensions of individuals in the MBSR group were lower than those in the control group (all P<0.01). The reductions in these three scores were greater in the MBSR group than those in the control group (all P<0.01). Meanwhile, individuals in the MBSR group showed superior improvements in the mindfulness level score, the total mood disturbance, and the psychological resilience score compared with the control group (all P<0.05). The multiple linear regression analysis results showed that the pre-intervention BPI score, post-intervention changes in mindfulness levels, headache and lower back pain were influencing factors for the improvement of the BPI score in the MBSR group individuals (all P<0.05). Conclusion Conducting MBSR in military units in plateau areas is an effective approach for alleviating chronic pain. The pain relief effect is more pronounced in individuals with higher initial pain scores, a greater increase in mindfulness scores after training, and those with headache and low back pain.
