Purpose To investigate the expression of LAMB3 and ITGB4 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)and analyze their associations with clinicopathological features.Methods Bioinformatics was used to assess the expression of LAMB3 and ITGB4 in pan-cancer and ESCC.Immunohistochemistry was performed to evaluate their expression and distribution in ESCC tissues,and correlations clinicopathological features were analyzed.Follow-up data were collected to construct Kaplan-Meier survival curves,and Cox regression analysis was proformed to determine their prognostic significance.Results Bioinformatics analysis showed that LAMB3 and ITGB4 were highly expressed in ES-CC tissues(P＜0.001).Immunohistochemistry confirmed that both proteins were localized in the cytoplasm and membrane of tumor cells.High LAMB3 expression was significantly associated with poor differentiation(P＜0.001),lymph node metastasis(P=0.015),and T staging(P＜0.001).High ITGB4 expression was significantly correlated with poor differentiation(P=0.004)and advanced T staging(P=0.004).Cox regression analysis identified high ex-pression of LAMB3 and ITGB4 as independent prognostic factors for overall survival[HR=4.97(95％CI:2.73-9.02);HR=2.33(95％CI:1.36-3.99)].Conclusion LAMB3 and ITGB4 are highly expressed in ESCC.High LAMB3 expression is associated with tumor differentiation,lymph node metastasis,and T staging,while high ITGB4 expression is correlated with tumor differentiation and T staging.Patients with high expression of LAMB3 or ITGB4 have poorer overall survival,suggesting that these proteins may serve as prognostic biomarkers for unfavorable outcome in ESCC.

Objective To observe the clinical effect and security of autohemotherapy combined with bacillus calmette-guerin polysaccharide and nucleic acid in treatment of facial steroid-dependent dermatitis.Methods The 74 patients with facial steroid-dependent dermatitis were divided into treatment group (38patients) and control group (36 patients) according to the treatment method.The patients in treatment group were treated with autohemotherapy combined with bacillus calmette-gnerin polysaccharide and nucleic acid 1 ml muscle injection,every 3 days a time for 4 weeks.The patients in control group were treated with bacillus calmette-guerin polysaccharide and nucleic acid,every 3 days a time for 4 weeks.The effect was compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate in treatment group was 84.2％(32/38),in control group was 63.9％(23/36),there was significant difference between the two groups (P ＜ 0.05).No serious adverse reaction was found in two groups.Conclusion Autohemotherapy combined with bacillus calmettegnerin polysaccharide and nucleic acid is safe and effective in treatment of facial steroid-dependent dermatitis.

Objective To explore the protective effect of resveratrol against oxidative damage to cultivated fibroblasts irradiated with UVB. Methods Fibroblasts from normal human skin cultured in vitro were divided into 5 groups (a normal control group, a group irradiated with UVB, a group treated with resveratrol before UVB irradiation, and a group treated after irradiation). A monolayer of fibroblasts was irradiated with UVB at 60 mJ/cm2. The vitality of the cells was measured using the methylthiazol tetrazolium (MTT) method. The activity of superoxide dis-mutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA) content were determined using enzyme biochemistry. Results Resveratrol over 100 μM inhibited the proliferation of fibroblasts. Resveratrol under 100 μM improved the proliferation of cells. The optimal concentration was 50 μM. UVB irradiation decreased the vitality of the cells and SOD activity, and it significantly enhanced MDA content. Conclusions Resveratrol treatment before or after UVB irradiation elevates the survival rate of fibroblasts, enhances the activity of SOD, and decreases MDA content. Resveratrol at low concentration could improve the proliferation of fibroblasts, and at high concentration could inhibit their proliferation. Res-veratol at 50 μM relieves the inhibited proliferation of fibroblasts damaged by UVB irradiation.
