Objective　To investigate the effect of high glucose, high free fatty acids (FFA), and heparin binding protein (HBP) treatment on the inflammatory response, oxidative stress, and cell apoptosis of the co-culture system established by human renal cortex proximal tubule epithelial cells (HK-2)/neutrophil cells. Methods Neutrophils were isolated from the peripheral blood of healthy individuals. Both HK-2 cells and neutrophil suspensions were mixed at a concentration of 105/mL to establish a co-cultured cell system. The treatment concentrations of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and sodium heparin (Hep) were determined through the CCK-8 experiment. The concentrations of heparin binding protein (HBP), superoxide dismutase (SOD), inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, IL-6, and IL-8), and the percentage of cells apoptosis was detected by quantitative immunofluorescence method, pyrogallol autoxidation method, the method based on the cytometric bead array (CBA) technology, and the detecting the expression of Annexin V-FITC fluorescence by flow cytometry, respectively. Results The treatment concentrations of LPS and Hep were determined respectively as 10 μg/mL and 50 μmol/L using the CCK-8 experiment. Compared with the normal group, treatment with high glucose and high FFA significantly increased the levels of HBP (4.11±0.07), SOD (2.67±0.06), IL-1β (11.28±0.35), IL-6 (2.57±0.10), IL-8 (1.32±0.05), and the incidence of cells apoptosis (1.08±0.04). LPS treatment (stimulation of HBP production) further exacerbated the relative levels of HBP (7.09±0.08), SOD (3.07±0.14), and IL-1β (22.96±0.49), IL-6 (2.79±0.11), IL-8 (1.55±0.07), and the incidence of cells apoptosis (1.17±0.05). Hep treatment (reducing HBP production) significantly reversed the effects induced by LPS on HBP (5.43±0.09), SOD (2.76±0.07), IL-1β (16.51±0.56), IL-6 (2.64±0.16), IL-8 (1.47±0.06), and the incidence of cells apoptosis (1.13±0.05). Conclusions Both the status of high glucose combined with high FFA, as well as HBP can affect the function of renal tubular epithelial cells. The underlying mechanisms may be related to promoting oxidative stress and inflammatory response.

Objective To explore the effects of nursing intervention based on health belief model (HBM) in improving compliance of screen by gastroscope in high risk group of gastric cancer so as to provide theoretical bases for clinical nursing activity.Methods High risk group of gastric cancer with preliminary screening without completing gastroscopy from five communities of Yanta District, Beilin District, Lianhu District of Xi'an City were selected by convenience sampling from 20th March 2015 to 15th December 2016. They were divided into observation group (n=500, conventional education on screening of gastric cancer) and control group (n=500, nursing intervention based on HBM for one year) with the method of random number table. And then, the cognition, score of health belief and the screening rate of gastroscope of both groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of all dimensions on cognition about gastric cancer in observation group were higher than those in control group with significant differences (P<0.05). There were statistically significant differences in scores of all dimensions on cognition about gastric cancer before and after intervention in observation group (P<0.05), while there was no statistically significant differences in those in control group (P>0.05). There were also statistically significant differences in scores of all dimensions of health belief between two groups (P<0.05). Compared within groups, there was no statistically significant differences in scores of all dimensions of health belief except for self efficacy in control group before and after intervention (P>0.05), while there were statistical significances in scores of all dimensions in observation group (P<0.05). After intervention, the screening rate of gastroscope in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05).Conclusions The nursing intervention based on HBM helps high risk group of gastric cancer sets up health belief, improves the participation rate of screening by gastroscope along with having important significance for the discovery rate of early gastric cancer.

Objective To explore the effects of progressive muscle relaxation training (PMRT) on depression,anxiety and quality of life (QOL) in breast cancer patients during perioperative period,so as to provide references for improving nursing quality.Methods A total of 400 breast cancer patients from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University and Xi'an No.5 Hospital were selected as the research object by convenience sampling method from January 2015 to June 2016. They were divided into the experimental group (n=200,routine nursing + PMRT for five weeks) and the control group (n=200,routine nursing). The QOL,depression and anxiety of patients were evaluated by the functional assessment of cancer therapy-breast (FACT-B),self-rating anxiety scale (SAS),self-rating depression scale (SDS) on the first day after admission and at the fifth week after intervention.Results There was no statistically significant difference in the total score and scores of all dimensions of QOL,the score of anxiety and depression between two groups before intervention (P>0.05).AfterPMRT for five weeks,the total score of QOL was (107.68±5.48) in the experimental group which was higher than that (97.14±9.98) in the control group with a significant difference (t=13.017,P<0.01). Moreover,the scores of anxiety and depression [(38.45±4.91),(38.32±4.61)] in the experimental group were lower than those [(48.24±7.01),(50.24±4.24)] in the control group with significant differences (t=36.629, 18.585;P<0.01).ConclusionsThePMRT can effectively improve the QOL of breast cancer patients during perioperative period,relieve the unhealthy mental state on anxiety,depression and so on.ThePMRT should be widely applied in rehabilitation nursing in breast cancer patients after operation.

Objective To explore the effect of standard operational procedures (SOPs) when used in the quality management system of sterilization and supply departments,and to provide a theoretical basis for ensuring sterilization quality. Methods At first,a standard procedure template was prepared,then each department member was assigned to customize their SOPs based on their own circumstances,and finally the SOPs were reviewed one by one by the departments before the members were trained and began to use the SOPs;totally 2000 surgical instruments from January to December 2014 (before SOPs) and from January to December 2015 (after SOPs) were selected by random sampling,and the percentage of their cleaning quality failure,packing failure,needlestick injury,and the average of clean-up time were measured and compared. Results The possibilities of disqualified cleaning,packing,needlestick injury and lost stitches and average clean-up time decreased compared with those before the SOPs were introduced (χ2=132.37,91.85,9.98, 9.20,32.85;P < 0.05). Conclusions The introduction of SOPs maintains the work of sterilization and supply departments orderly and improve its quality,and therefore,SOPs should be introduced into the quality management system of sterilization and supply departments.
