Journal of Preventive Medicine 2026;38(2):187-190
Objective:
To analyze serum anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) level and its influencing factors among female undergoing premarital and preconception examinations, so as to provide the evidence for optimizing reproductive health management measures.
Methods:
Female who received free premarital and preconception examinations and voluntarily underwent serum AMH testing at Women and Children's Health Center of Gongshu District, Hangzhou City from January 2022 to April 2025 were selected as study subjects. Demographic information and reproductive history were collected through questionnaire survey. Venous blood was collected to detect thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), alanine aminotransferase, hemoglobin (Hb), and AMH levels. The original AMH values did not follow a normal distribution, but followed a normal distribution after natural logarithm transformation, recorded as ln (AMH). Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between variables, and multiple linear regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors for ln (AMH) levels among female undergoing premarital and preconception examinations.
Results:
A total of 1 073 females undergoing premarital and preconception examinations were surveyed, with a mean age of (29.43±3.30) years. There were 959 females without pregnancy (89.38%) and 1 042 females without full-term live birth history (97.11%). The median AMH level was 3.85 (interquartile range, 3.63) ng/mL, and the mean ln (AMH) level was 1.27±0.75. The ln (AMH) levels were higher in females without pregnancy and without full-term live birth history (both P<0.05). The ln (AMH) level was negatively correlated with age (r=-0.260) and TSH (r=-0.093), and positively correlated with Hb (r=-0.260, -0.093, and 0.073, all P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that age (β′=-0.253) and TSH (β′=-0.103) were statistically associated with ln (AMH) levels among female undergoing premarital and preconception examinations (both P<0.05). The associations of other variables with ln (AMH) levels were not statistically significant (all P>0.05).
Conclusions
Age and TSH level are influencing factors for AMH levels among female undergoing premarital and preconception examinations. AMH levels among female undergoing premarital and preconception examinations decrease with increasing age and increasing TSH level.

In recent years, some large public hospitals in China had successively opened scientific research outpatients to provide consulting services for clinical research, but there were generally problems such as insufficient audience and single role of expert teams. In July 2021, Shanghai Clinical Research Center established a multidisciplinary scientific research outpatient for the entire clinical research cycle, providing medical staffs with such services as clinical research design and project application, paper revision and achievement transformation. It also provided clerkship for medical students on campus to cultivate their standardized clinical research thinking. As of July 2022, the outpatient had provided research consulting services 16 times, teaching 8 class hours to medical students, and collaborated to solve multi-dimensional clinical research practical problems throughout the entire cycle, such as clinical trial design, project application, and paper publication. Good results had been achieved by this outpatient to provide reference for promoting the development of scientific research outpatients in China and improving the clinical research level of hospitals.

Objective:To investigate the potential risk factors for cryptogenic stroke (CS) in patients with patent foramen ovale (PFO).Methods:Patients underwent PFO closure in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from June 2018 to December 2021 were enrolled retrospectively. Transesophageal echocardiography was used to evaluate the morphological characteristics of foramen ovale and right-to-left shunt (RLS). Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to determine the independent risk factors for CS in patients with PFO. Results:A total of 203 patients with PFO were enrolled. Their age was 41.9±14.3, and 116 patients (57.1%) were male. There were 102 patients in CS group and 101 patients in non-stroke group. The age, body mass index, systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure, and the constituent ratios of male, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia and smoking of the CS group were significant higher than those of the non-stroke group (all P<0.05). The PFO channel of the CS group was longer, wider and more combined with resting RLS (all P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that systolic blood pressure (odds ratio [ OR] 1.065, 95% confidence interval [ CI] 1.022-1.111; P=0.003), PFO length ( OR 1.124, 95% CI 1.004-1.258; P=0.043) and resting RLS ( OR 5.449, 95% CI 2.283-13.004; P<0.001) were the independent risk factors for CS in patients with PFO. Conclusion:Systolic blood pressure, PFO length and the presence of resting RLS are the independent risk factors for CS in patients with PFO.

Journal of Southern Medical University 2019;39(12):1461-1468
OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the feasibility of applying intracranial lead reconstruction in deep brain stimulation (DBS) therapy for Parkinsonism.
METHODS:
We retrospectively collected the clinical data from 27 patients with Parkinson's disease (PD), who received bilateral subthalamic nucleus (STN) DBS therapy between January, 2016 and December, 2017. According to the position of the selected optimal stimulating contact of the implanted leads, the patients were divided into group A with the stimulating contacts of the bilateral leads in the STN, group B with unilateral stimulating contacts in the STN, and group C with bilateral stimulating contacts outside the STN. All the patients were assessed for improvement using Hoehn-Yahr stage, the third part of United Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS Ⅲ), Schwab and England Activities of Daily Living (SE-ADL), and L-dopa equivalent daily dose (LEDD). The consistency between the optimal stimulating contact selected by lead reconstruction and that by standard postoperative programming procedure was also evaluated.
RESULTS:
The patients in all the 3 groups showed postoperative improvements in Hoehn-Yahr stage, UPDRS Ⅲ score, SE-ADL score, and LEDD in the medication-off state. But at 12 months of the follow-up, such improvements were maintained only in the patients of group A. The optimal stimulating contacts selected by lead reconstruction and standard postoperative programming procedure had a matching rate of up to 77.78% (42/54), and the coordinates of the optimal contacts selected by the two methods showed no significant difference.
CONCLUSIONS
Intracranial lead reconstruction facilitates the study of the association between the implant site of the leads and the clinical outcome of DBS therapy for PD and allows the precise selection of the optimal contact of the implanted leads in postoperative programming of DBS.

Objective To investigate the prevalence of dyslipidemia and the relationship between breakfast frequency and dyslipidemia in residents over 40 years old in Yiling area of Yichang City in Hubei Province. Methods A random sampling was conducted, and 10 420 inhabitants were investigated during 2011 to 2012. Results The morbidity of dyslipidemia was 64. 0%. It was significantly higher in female than in male (65. 9% vs 60. 6%). Compared with regular breakfast eaters, non-breakfast eaters had significantly higher morbidity of higher blood low density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C) and hypertriglyceridemia(P<0. 05). The risk of elevated serum LDL-C was higher in the non-breakfast eaters group(OR=2. 382, 95%CI 1. 300-4. 367, P=0. 019) after adjusted by age, sex, smoking, drinking, etc. Conclusions Compared with regular breakfast eaters, breakfast skippers had significantly higher morbidity of dyslipidemia. Eating breakfast on daily basis may have a significant protective effect on preventing dyslipidemia.

China Oncology 2014;(1):46-51
Background and purpose: Small bowel adenocarcinoma (SBA) is uncommon, and frequently diagnosed at late stage. Chemotherapy is the main treatment method for advanced SBA. Despite recent progress in SBA therapy, no standard regimen has been established up to now, and new active regimen is expected to improve the outcome of this disease. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efifcacy and safety of S-1/oxaliplatin for the treatment of advanced SBA. Methods:In a retrospective study, clinical characteristics and outcomes of 29 patients with advanced SBA were collected and analyzed. Patients received oral S-1 40 mg/m2, twice daily, d1-14, oxaliplatin was administered intravenously 130 mg/m2 on the ifrst day of every cycle, repeated every 3 weeks. Efifcacy and toxicity were evaluated after at least two consecutive cycles. Results:All patients were evaluated for efifcacy and safety. The objective response and disease control rates were 37.9%and 65.5%, respectively. The median progression-free survival and overall survival were 5.4 months (95%CI:3.6-7.2) and 13.2 months (95%CI:6.7-19.7), respectively. In univariate analysis, the following factors were signiifcantly associated with poor outcome:not ifrst line chemotherapy setting, ECOG performance status>1 and sites of metastasis>2 (Log-rank, P<0.05). The treatment related adverse events were mild and manageable. Myelosuppression, gastrointestinal reaction, fatigue, sensory neuropathy and rash were the most common toxicities. Conclusion:This study was the ifrst to report the efifcacy of S-1 combined with oxaliplatin for advanced SBA. S-1/oxaliplatin may be effective and safe for advanced SBA and worthy of further study.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2013;(16):947-950
Objective:To investigate the mechanism and effects of autophagy on cisplatin(DDP)-induced apoptosis in human gas-tric cancer cell line SGC7901. Methods:Cell proliferation was determined by an MTT assay after the SGC7901 cells were treated with DDP and/or chloroquine. Cell apoptosis was determined by flow cytometry. Autophagy and related protein expressions were detected by Western blot. Autophagy was quantitatively analyzed by fluorescence microscopy after monodansylcadaverine staining was per-formed. Results:The cells were treated with 5 mg/L of DDP for 24 h, the rate of cell apoptosis was (21.07 ± 2.12)%. Autophagy, char-acterized by an increase in the number of autophagic vesicles and LC3-II protein level, was observed in DDP-treated cells. After autoph-agy was inhibited by chloroquine, the rate of cell apoptosis was increased to (30.16 ± 3.54)%. In addition, caspase-3 and P53 protein levels were increased, but Bcl-2 protein was decreased. Conclusion:Autophagy protected human gastric cancer cell line SGC7901 from DDP-induced apoptosis. In addition, the inhibition of autophagy could promote apoptosis. The combined therapy of DDP and chlo-roquine may be a promising therapeutic strategy for gastric cancer.
