Objective:To assess the epidemic characteristics of serum of viral hepatitis B infection ranging in age from 1 to 69 years old in Jilin province in 2024. The genotypes of hepatitis B virus-infected individuals were determined. Methods:In 2024,2 313 people ranging in age from 1 to 69 years old in Jilin province were selected by using multi-stage random sampling method for field epidemiological investigation of hepatitis B. The serum samples were collected and detected for the hepatitis B virus(HBV)surface antigen(HBsAg),HBV surface antibody(HBsAb),HBV core antibody(HBcAb),HBV E antigen(HBeAg)and HBV E antibody(HBeAb)by ELISA,and the data were analyzed by the national epidemiological dynamic data collection platform,SPSS 18.0 software. Genotyping is conducted based on the internationally recognized large S region gene fragment. Results:The vaccination rates for hepatitis B among people aged 1-4,5-14,15-29 and 30-69 were 97.00%,94.66%,74.59% and 2.88%,respectively. There were significant differences in hepatitis B vaccination rates across age groups surveyed in 2024( χ2=1 041.41, P<0.05). In 2024,the HBsAg carrying rate,HBsAb positive rate,HBV infection rate,HBeAb positive rate and HBeAg positive rate of people in Jilin province were 0. 86%,47.99%,2.25%,5.58% and 5.14%,respectively. The genotype of hepatitis B virus in the infected person is B2 and C2. Conclusions:In 2024,the indicators of HBV infection in Jilin province were good. The highest rate of hepatitis B infection was 11.54% in people with 30-69 years of age and the high vaccination rate of people should continue to be maintained, and the vaccination of hepatitis B vaccine for adults should be strengthened to reduce the risk of infection in these susceptible groups.

Objective:To compare the efficacy and safety of continuous venetoclax combined azacitidine (VA) chemotherapy and intermedium/high-dose cytarabine (I/HDAC) consolidation in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) fit for standard chemotherapy (transform from UNFIT) .Methods:Clinical data of patients who were fit for standard chemotherapy were collected among those with AML who underwent VA induction in the Department of Hematology, the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University. The overall survival (OS), relapse-free survival (RFS), event-free survival (EFS), and incidence of adverse events were analyzed retrospectively. Results:This study enrolled 69 patients, consisting of 46 cases in the VA group and 23 cases in the I/HDAC group. We revealed the following. ① The median OS, RFS, EFS were 26.18, 24.69, 20.34 months in the VA group, and 34.14, 30.99, 28.42 months in the I/HDAC group, respectively, with no statistically significant difference (all P>0.05). Median OS of patients who underwent I/HDAC consolidation with European Leukemia Net (ELN) favorable-risk, positive measurable residual disease (MRD), wild type FLT3, or IDH1/2 mutation was significantly longer than those who received VA ( P<0.05). ②Adverse events rate of grade 3 - 4 neutropenia, grade 3 - 4 thrombocytopenia, and bacteremia were significantly lower in the VA group than in the I/HDAC group ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:I/HDAC consolidation was more likely to help get survival benefits for patients with ELN favorable-risk, positive MRD, wild type FLT3, or IDH1/2 mutation. Continuous VA chemotherapy exhibited superior safety than I/HDAC consolidation.

Objective:This study aimed to analyze the genomic characteristics of Varicella-Zoster Virus (VZV) strains circulating in Jilin province from 2010 to 2023.Methods:Vesicle fluid from 78 sporadic cases with VZV infection were collected in Jilin province from 2010 to 2023, after detecting by Real-time PCR, 26 specimens (CT<25) were detected by PCR. Open reading frame 22(ORF22), ORF38 and ORF62 were amplified and analyzed. Genotyping was confirmed by SNPs ORF22 (37902, 38019, 38055, 38081 and 38177) and ORF38 (69424). Vaccine strains were indentified from wild-type strains according to ORF38 (69349) and ORF62 (106262, 107252, and 108111). Sequences were analyzed by homologous comparison and phylogenetic analysis. Results:The comparison with Dumas sequence revealed that SNPs (37902, 38055, 38081 and 38177) in ORF22 and ORF38 (69424) have mutations similar to the pOka strain, which belong to clade 2. Compared to the Dumas and Baike strains, all 26 samples were wild-type strains. JL2016-4 strain changes from threonine to asparaginyl at position 38059, JL2021-4 strain changes from arginine to proline at position 37933, from aspartic acid to tyrosine at position 37935, and from aspartic acid at base 38031 to tyrosine. JL2023-1 strain changes from arginine to leucine at position 37933.Conclusions:VZV has been prevalent for 14 years in Jilin province. The main epidemic strains belong to the clade 2. We should strengthen the monitoring of VZV outbreaks and raise the coverage rate of VZV vaccination.

Objective:To make the early clinical antibiotic regimen by finding out the infection of corynebacterium in the pus of patients with granulomatous mastitis in the early stage. Methods:A total of 42 patients who were diagnosed and treated in the Breast Center of Guangdong Maternal and Child Health Hospital from Jun. 2016 to Mar. 2017 with complete follow-up data were retrospectively analyzed. PCR method was used to detect corynebacterium in the patients’ pus. Patients in the positive group were treated with antibiotics alone, antibiotics + hormones and hormones alone, while patients in the negative group were treated with antibiotics + hormones and hormones alone. The postoperative recurrence rate and cure rate of different groups of patients were observed. Results:The antibiotic regimen for granulomatous mastitis in patients with corynebacterium infection included a combination of short-acting levofloxacin and azithromycin and long-acting anti-mycobacterium drugs. Among the 42 patients in the subgroup, 21 patients were confirmed positive for corynebacterium by PCR detection of pus, and the postoperative recurrence rate was 23.5%. There was a statistically significant difference between the antibiotic group, the antibiotic + hormone group and the hormone group in treatment of granulomatous mastitis infected with corynebacterium ( χ2=5.494, P=0.036) . PCR detection shouwed corynebacterium negative in 21 cases, and postoperative recurrence rate of 16.7%. No statistically significant difference in efficacy was found between antibiotic + hormone group and hormone only group for GM patients without bacterial infection ( χ2=1.129, P=0.719) . Conclusion:Early detection of corynebacterium infection in GM patients is significant for clinical guidance of the application of lipophilic antibiotics.
