Protein structure determines function, and structural information is critical for predicting protein thermostability. This study proposes a novel method for protein thermostability prediction by integrating graph embedding features and network topological features. By constructing residue interaction networks (RINs) to characterize protein structures, we calculated network topological features and utilize deep neural networks (DNN) to mine inherent characteristics. Using DeepWalk and Node2vec algorithms, we obtained node embeddings and extracted graph embedding features through a TopN strategy combined with bidirectional long short-term memory (BiLSTM) networks. Additionally, we introduced the Doc2vec algorithm to replace the Word2vec module in graph embedding algorithms, generating graph embedding feature vector encodings. By employing an attention mechanism to fuse graph embedding features with network topological features, we constructed a high-precision prediction model, achieving 87.85% prediction accuracy on a bacterial protein dataset. Furthermore, we analyzed the differences in the contributions of network topological features in the model and the differences among various graph embedding methods, and found that the combination of DeepWalk features with Doc2vec and all topological features was crucial for the identification of thermostable proteins. This study provides a practical and effective new method for protein thermostability prediction, and at the same time offers theoretical guidance for exploring protein diversity, discovering new thermostable proteins, and the intelligent modification of mesophilic proteins.

Objective To study the effect of self-monitoring of blood glucose information management platform based on the medical consortium on the level of blood glucose control by improving the implementation rate of self-monitoring of blood glucose prescriptions for type 2 diabetes patients in the community.Methods A convenient sampling method was used to select 121 patients with type 2 diabetes from April 2021 to April 2023 who were enrolled in a community of a tertiary hospital medical consortium in Beijing.They were randomly divided into 61 patients in an experimental group and 60 patients in a control group.The control group received routine blood glucose monitoring and guidance education,while the experimental group was managed by a self-monitoring of blood glucose information management platform based on the medical consortium with nurses as the main body.Glycated hemoglobin,glucose test,fasting blood sugar,blood glucose 2 hours after meal,and the completion of self blood glucose monitoring prescriptions were evaluated and analyzed in the first week and the twelfth week of the 2 groups.Results 61 cases in the experimental group and 58 cases in the control group completed the follow-up,and the patients who completed the follow-up were analyzed.There was no statistically significant difference in glycated hemoglobin between the 2 groups at baseline(P=0.117).After 12 weeks,the reduction standard-reaching rate in glycated hemoglobin in the experimental group was significantly different from that in the control group(P=0.014).The number of self-monitoring of fasting blood glucose and the total number of other time periods in experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P＜0.001);the implementation rate of self-monitoring prescription in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P＜0.001).Conclusion A self blood glucose monitoring information platform was built to manage community type 2 diabetes patients,so that patients can master and implement the personalized blood glucose monitoring prescription formulated by the medical union team with nurses as the main body,and it is conducive to improving the frequency of blood glucose monitoring and the level of blood glucose control of diabetes patients.

Objective To review the research of self-management intervention in patients with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation,clarify the intervention elements,so as to provide references for clinical practice and future related research.Methods According to the scoping review framework,a literature search was performed in the PubMed,Embase,CINAHL,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,CNKI,Wan fang Database,VIP,CBMdisc for all the studies on self-management intervention of patients with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.The retrieval time was from the establishment of the database to December,2022.There were 2 researchers who extracted and analyzed the data of the included literature.Results A total of 12 articles were included,including 3 randomized controlled trials,8 quasi-experimental studies,and 1 mixed study.6 studies were conducted with interventions based on the theoretical basis or nursing model such as self-management oriented 5A nursing model,continuous nursing model,problem-based learning theory.The intervention methods of 12 studies included nurse-led self-management guidance,mobile applications,multidisciplinary collaboration,and graphic cards.The intervention time was mostly 1～3 months.The outcome indicators included feasibility evaluation indicators such as operability,ease of use,and user satisfaction of the application,and effect evaluation indicators such as self-management ability,quality of life,and medication compliance of patients.The results showed that self-management interventions could improve patient self-management ability,quality of life,medication compliance,and improve their psychological and nutritional status.Conclusion The research on self-management intervention in patients with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is still in the development stage,and its positive effect has been preliminarily verified.Medical staff should strengthen the self-management evaluation of patients with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation,play the role of multidisciplinary team,use electronic health intervention methods,and formulate multi-level,scientific and effective self-management intervention programs.

BACKGROUND: In the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures with percutaneous vertebroplasty, the efficacy and safety of bone cement injection by unipedicular and bipedicular approaches are still controversial. Some studies suggest that bone cement injection via unipedicular approach can shorten operation time and reduce postoperative complications, while the other studies suggest that bone cement injection via bipedicular approach can make bone cement distribute more evenly in the vertebral body and relieve pain better. OBJECTIVE: To systematically assess the efficacy and safety of percutaneous vertebroplasty via unipedicular versus bipedicular approach in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures. METHODS: Randomized controlled trials about unipedicular versus bipedicular percutaneous vertebroplasty in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture published before September 18 t h, 2018 were retrieved in the PubMed, Cochrane library, Embase, CNKI, VIP, WanFang data and CBM. Two researchers independently screened all the literatures, carried out data extraction and used improved Jadad to evaluate the methodological quality of the included studies. Meta-analysis using Revam 5.3 was conducted. Egger's test was utilized to evaluate the publication bias. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Totally 14 randomized controlled trials including 900 cases were eventually included, 452 cases in unipedicular approach group and 448 cases in bipedicular approach group. The Meta-analysis results showed that compared with the bipedicular approach, the unipedicular approach required shorter operation time [weighted mean difference (WMD) =-16.59, 95％ confidence interval (CI) (-19.25, -13.94), P < 0.001], smaller amount of bone cement injected [WMD=-1.27, 95％ CI (-1.64, -0.89), P < 0.001], and had lower incidence of cement leakage [relative risk=0.70, 95％ CI (0.53, 0.92), P =0.01]. There were no significant differences in short-and long-term Visual Analogue Scale scores, short-and long-term Oswestry Disability Index scores, and the postoperative incidence of adjacent vertebral fractures between the two groups (P> 0.05). Overall, bone cement injection both via bipedicular and unipedicular approaches can lead to a significant improvement in pain relief and living quality of osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture patients, but bone cement injection via unipedicular approach can shorten operation time, reduce cement volume and lower the incidence of cement leakage compared with the bipedicular approach.

Objective To explore the feasibility of smart-planes fetal heart ( S-planes FH ) in the display of the fetal ventricular outflow views ,and to compare diameters of fetal aorta ( AO) and pulmonary artery (PA) measured using two-dimensional echocardiography(2DE) and S-planes FH . Methods One hundred and eighty-five fetuses with gestational age of 17 - 36 weeks were enrolled . Each fetus had undergone conventional 2DE examination and the three-dimensional fetal cardiac volume datasets were obtained . The volume datasets were analyzed offline using S-planes FH . The diameters of AO and PA were measured by 2DE and S-planes FH ,respectively . Pearson correlation analysis was used to evaluate the correlation between the two methods for measuring the diameters of AO and PA . The consistency of the two methods was verified by Bland-Altman analysis . Results Fetal ventricular outflow views were successfully obtained using S-planes FH in 173 ( 93 .5％ ) cases of 185 fetuses whose ventricular outflow views were satisfactorily obtained by fetal 2DE . There were close correlations between the two methods in measuring the diameters of AO and PA ( r = 0 .84 , P = 0 .04; r = 0 .81 , P = 0 .00 ) . Bland-Altman analysis showed a close consistency between the two methods ,and their 95％ confidence intervals were ( -1 .17 ,1 .00) and ( -1 .79 ,1 .02) ,respectively . Conclusions There is a close consistency between S-planes FH and 2DE in measuring fetal AO and PA . S-planes FH may have potential for the evaluation of fetal ventricular outflow .

Objective To explore the effect and safety of radiotherapy post operation combined with hyperbaric oxygen in treatment of keloid .Methods From Jan .1st 2015 to Dec .30th 2016 ,pa-tients with keloid in Plastic Surgery Hospital of Beijing Union Medical College and Navy General Hos -pital were selected and randomly divided into the radiotherapy post operation group and radiotherapy post operation combined with hyperbaric oxygen group .Adverse reactions of both groups of patients during treatment were recorded and calculated .The Vancouver scar scale was used to evaluate treat -ment effect of both groups of patients ;The clinical effect and the recurrence rate of both groups were observed .Results Compared with before treatment ,the Vancouver scar scale scores of both groups of patients after treatment was decreased significantly ,but patients in radiotherapy post operation com-bined with hyperbaric oxygen gorup decreased more significantly (P < 0 .05) .Compared with postoper-ative radiotherapy group ,the total efficiency of patients in radiotherapy post operation combined with hyperbaric oxygen gorup improved more significantly ( P < 0 .05) ,and the recurrence rate after 12 months and 18 months was significantly lower (P < 0 .05) ,and the adverse reaction rate had no signif-icant difference (P > 0 .05) .Conclusions Radiotherapy post operative combined with hyperbaric oxy-gen in the treatment of keloids is better than postoperative radiotherapy alone ,with low recurrence rate and good safety .It may become a new choice for keloid treatment .

Objective To explore the effects of hyperbaric oxygen treatment on chronic stress and glucocorticoid receptor (GR) expression in the hippocampus.Methods A total of 60 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into a restraint group,an HBO (hyperbaric oxygen) group,an HBO-restraint group and a control group using a random number table,each group with 15 animals.All the rats in the restraint and HBO groups were constrained by immobilizing their fore-and hind-limbs on a self-made frame for 3h daily for 21 days,and those in the HBO group received HBO treatment once daily for the same 21 days.The HBO-restraint group was immobilized in the morning and treated with HBO in the afternoon.The control group was reared without any special intervention.On the 1st,11th and 21st day of treatment,rats from the different groups were assessed using the open field test.On the 21st day,all the animals were sacrificed and their brains were harvested to detect GR expression.Results In the open field test on the 11 th day,the restraint group scored (131.0 ± 20.6) in terms of motor level and (26.5 ± 4.6) for exploratory behavior,both significantly higher than before restraint and significantly higher than those in the HBO-restraint group at the same time point.Immunofluorescence assay showed that GR expression in the hippocampus of the restraint group was significantly decreased compared with the control group.There was no significant difference,however,between the HBO-restraint group and the control group.Conclusion Chronic restraint stress induces changes in behavior and GR expression in rats which can be alleviated by hypbaric oxygen treatment.

The structure of the hyperbaric oxygen chamber was introduced, and the application of automatic control system to the chamber was discussed from the aspects of the function and information system. The automatic control system can be used for monitoring and control of equipment condition, operation flow and performance data during hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which enhances the efficiency and safety of hyperbaric oxygen chamber.

Objective To develop a gas dynamic exposure device with a simple structure.Methods The device was composed of a water tank, an gas chest, an exposure kit and an gas-out bottle. The chest body was made of organic glass pane, drainage method was used to distribute the gas properly, and airflow was regulated with the gravity and valve.Results The device was proved to have simple structure and high effects.Conclusion The device has low cost, simple structure and properly distributed gas, and can be reused for exposure test.

BACKGROUND: Researches suggest that ginseng saponin (GS) has protective effect on central nerve, but the effect on spinal nerves is reported rarely.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the relationship between effect of GS on spinal nerve and level of nitrogen monoxide (NO) and its mechanism.DESIGN: Randomized controlled animal study.SETTING: Military Hyperbaric Oxygen Center of Navy General Hospital of Chinese PLA.MATERIALS: The experiment was completed at Clinical Anatomy Institute (National Key Laboratory) of the First Military Medical University of Chinese PLA in 2000. Forty SD foetus rats with 15-day conception were selected.METHODS: Study Ⅰ: Embryo-spinal nerve cells of SD rats were separated, extracted and modeled with DMEM/F12 culture medium. On the fourth day of inoculated culture, axon of spinal nerve (simulation of peripheral nerve injury) was damaged with scarification method in injury group, but that in non-injury group was not treated. 150 μL cell culture medium and 100 mg/L Griess solution were mixed at 0, 0.5 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3 hours after injury respectively. Absorbency (A) was assayed with Σ960 (λ=570 nm) enzyme-linked immunoadsordent assay (ELISA) symbolic device 10 min-utes after reaction at room temperature. Study Ⅱ: Embryo-spinal nerve cells of SD rats were separated and extracted. Those in the experimental group were treated with GS + DMEM/F12 culture medium, but with DMEM/F12 culture medium in the control group. A value was assayed with the same method.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:① Relationship between injury of spinal neurons and level of NO;② Relationship between protective effect of GS and level of NO.RESULTS:① Relationship between injury of spinal neurons and level of NO: In the injury group, NO secretion was increased after injury of spinal neurons, reached peak 2 hours later, and decreased 3 hours later. There was significant difference as compared 0.5 hour with 0 hour (P ＜ 0.01),and also there was significant difference as compared 2 hourswith 0 hour (P ＜ 0.01).② Relationship between protective effect of GS and level of NO: In the control group, A value was increased with time passing, reached peak 2 hours later, and decreased 3 hours later; but A value in the experimental group was not changed generally. There was significant difference between the two groups at 2-hour point (P ＜ 0.01).CONCLUSION: NO liberation is increased after peripheral nerve injury.GS can inhibit NO liberation so as to protect peripheral nerve.
