Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui 2025;60(4):664-669
Objective :
To investigate the relationship between the risk occurrence of rectal cancer and the single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNP) of zinc finger protein 6(ZBED6), and to provide the experimental basis for early diagnosis and treatment of rectal cancer.
Methods:
Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP) technology was used to genotype the ZBED6 gene in 109 randomly selected rectal cancer patients and 110 unrelated healthy controls. To evaluate the relationship between alleles, genotypes and the risk of rectal cancer, unconditional Logistic regression analysis was used toORand 95%CI.
Results:
The SNP rs7552670 of ZBED6 had significant correlation with the risk of rectal cancer. Compared with the population carrying the TT genotype, those carrying the TC genotype had a 2.653 fold increased risk of rectal cancer(TTvsTC:OR=2.635, 95%CI=1.501-4.690). Other SNPs had no significant correlation with the risk of rectal cancer.
Conclusion
There is an interaction between the polymorphisms of ZBED6(rs7552670) and rectal cancer. The population carried ZBED6 rs7552670 TC genotype had an growing risk of rectal cancer.

Objective:To sort out the development context of precision nursing and compare and analyze the advantages and shortcomings in this field at home and abroad, so as to provide reference for the development of precision nursing in China. Methods:Through Web of Science core collection and CNKI database, literature related to precision nursing at home and abroad from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2022 was retrieved. CiteSpace software was used to draw a scientific knowledge map for visualization analysis. Results:A total of 509 literatures in Chinese and 1 037 literatures in English were detected, and the annual number of publications showed a significant upward trend since 2015. The high-yielding institutions were mostly located in the United States, and the distribution of domestic institutions was relatively dispersed. From the perspective of research hotspots and frontiers, foreign research focused on health promotion and disease prevention research oriented by biological information, while Chinese research focused on individualized nursing research oriented by patient needs. Conclusions:In recent 10 years, the research of precision nursing in China has developed rapidly, but relatively speaking, the depth and breadth of its research still need to be improved. Chinese research should learn from the experience of foreign precision nursing practice and explore the mode of precision nursing that conforms to national conditions in China.

Objective:To systematically review the risk prediction model for vaginal delivery failure in low-risk primiparas, so as to provide reference for clinical practice and future research. Methods:Literature on the risk prediction model for vaginal delivery failure in low-risk primiparas was retrieved from China National Knowledge Infrastructure, WanFang Data, China Biology Medicine disc, PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, Web of Science and so on. The search period was from the establishment of the database to September 20, 2023. Two researchers independently screened literature, extracted data, and evaluated the risk of bias in the included studies. Results:A total of 10 articles were included, involving 14 models. Twelve models were constructed using Logistic regression, and the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of the models ranged from 0.680 to 0.847. Common predictive factors of the model involved age of pregnant woman, height of pregnant woman, pre-pregnancy body mass index, gestational weight gain, gestational week, fetal birth weight, induction method, fetal biological measurements, and pre-delivery cervical Bishop score. Conclusions:The predictive performance of the vaginal delivery failure risk prediction model for low-risk primiparas is good, but the model construction method is relatively simple, and the overall bias risk is high. The model needs to be further optimized through machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other means, and extensively validated externally.

Objective:To understand the results of serum protein electrophoresis in patients with acute brucellosis, and to provide objective indicators for clinical diagnosis and treatment of acute brucellosis patients. Methods:Thirty acute brucellosis patients diagnosed by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control of Donghe District, Baotou City from January to June 2021 were selected as the case group, and 30 local healthy persons who took physical examination during the same period were selected as the control group. Blood samples were collected from the two groups of people, serum was separated and serum protein electrophoresis was performed. Independent sample t-tests were used to compare total protein concentrations, protein fractions (albumin, α1-globulin, α2-globulin, β-globulin and γ-globulin) and albumin/globulin (A/G) ratio. Results:The age of patients in the case group was (52.35 ± 6.74) years old, with 25 males and 5 females. The course of the disease ranged from 0.3 to 2.6 months, with an average of 1.78 months. The age of people in the control group was (52.74 ± 5.47) years old, with 25 males and 5 females. There were no statistically significant difference in age and sex distuibution between the two groups ( P > 0.05). The concentrations of total protein and α2-globulin fractions were not significantly different between the two groups ( t = 0.78, 2.04, P > 0.05, respectively). Compared with the control group, the differences in the percentage of albumin, α1-globulin, β-globulin, γ-globulin in total protein and A/G ratio were statistically significant ( t = 4.78, 4.76, 2.89, 2.20, 3.65, P < 0.05). Conclusions:The percentage of serum albumin in total protein and A/G ratio decrease in patients with acute brucellosis, while the percentage of α1-globulin, β-globulin and γ-globulin in total protein increase. The percentage of albumin, α1-globulin, β-globulin, γ-globulin in total protein and A/G ratio can be uesed as objective indicators for clinical treatment of acute brucellosis.

Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 2021;34(7):688-691
【Objective】 To analyze the characteristics of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) collection in healthy children, and explore the factors affecting collection efficiency (CE). 【Methods】 The PBMC data, involving 70 episodes of apheresis from 42 children during January 2017 and June 2020 were retrospectively analyzed All children were collected in Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University. 【Results】 Multiple linear regression analysis showed that mononuclear cells (MNC) in donor collections from healthy children were positively correlated with anticoagulant dosage, lymphocyte count and monocyte count (P<0.05), meanwhile, negatively correlated with age and platelet count. The PBMC CE was negatively correlated with age, platelet count, and processed whole blood volume (P<0.05). CD34+ cells (×107 /kg)was negatively correlated with age, meanwhile, positively correlated with numbers of collection and processed whole blood volume(r=-0.79). No statistical differences in red blood cell count, platelet count, lymphocyte count, monocyte count of healthy child donors were notable before versus after apheresis. 【Conclusion】 MNC can be collected effectively in children of different ages. The PBMC collection efficiency was related to age. Meanwhile, the higher the lymphocytes and monocytes were before apheresis, the more MNC were collected. The efficiency of MNC collection would decrease when the apheresis volume of the children exceeded their total blood volume twice. However, the absolute value of CD34+ cells in the final yields would increase.
