Objective: To analyze the characteristics of first-visit cases of herpes zoster in Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province from 2021 to 2023, so as to provide the reference for improving herpes zoster prevention and control measures. Methods: Data on the incidence and vaccination of first-visit herpes zoster cases at all levels of public medical institutions in Zhoushan City from 2021 to 2023 were collected through the Zhoushan Comprehensive Health Information Platform and Zhoushan Immunization Program Information Management System. The incidence and outpatient proportion were calculated. The population distribution, seasonal distribution, and clinical consultation status of first-visit herpes zoster cases were described. Results: From 2021 to 2023, a total of 15 156 first-visit herpes zoster cases were reported in Zhoushan City, with an average annual incidence of 5.36‰. The incidences for each year were 5.78‰, 5.29‰ and 5.02‰, respectively, and the outpatient proportions were 0.15%, 0.14% and 0.11%, respectively, showed decreasing trends (both P<0.05). The number of doses of recombinant herpes zoster vaccine or live attenuated herpes zoster vaccine administered were 130, 312, and 633, respectively. The main consultation department was dermatology, with 11 004 cases (72.60%). The primary clinical diagnosis was visceral herpes zoster, with 5 901 cases (38.94%). A total of 1 936 cases (12.77%) had at least one underlying medical condition. The mean age of onset was (56.08±16.23) years, and the incidence showed an upward trend with increasing age (P<0.05). There were 7 386 male cases and 7 770 female cases, with a male-to-female ratio of 0.95∶1. The incidence among males aged ≥50 years was lower than that among females (6.53‰ vs. 8.69‰, P<0.05). The onset of the disease exhibited a significant seasonal pattern, with a peak period from June 21st to August 21st, covering 75% of the cases Conclusions From 2021 to 2023, the incidence and outpatient proportion of herpes zoster in Zhoushan City decreased. Summer was the peak season for onset, and women and the elderly were the key populations. It is necessary to strengthen the collaborative diagnostic and treatment capabilities of key departments such as dermatology and enhance the enthusiasm for vaccination among key populations.

Objective: To analyze the association of sedentary types with symptom of depressive and anxiety among college freshmen, so as to provide a reference for improving the mental health of college students. Methods: From October to November 2022, all college freshmen at three colleges and universities in Anhui Province were selected by a cluster sampling method. The Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), and the Youth Leisure-Time Sedentary Behavior Questionnaire (YLSBQ) were used for the investigation. A binary Logistic regression analysis was conducted to investigate the relationship of different types of sedentary behavior with anxiety and depressive symptom. Results: The detection rates of anxiety and depressive symptom among college freshmen were 32.8% and 49.9%, respectively. The results of the binary Logistic regression model analysis showed that after controlling for gender, family location, parental education level, self rated family economic status and number of intimate partners, high level overall, video based, and social based sedentary time were associated with an increased risk of anxiety ( OR =1.26, 1.56, 1.27) and depressive symptom ( OR =1.42, 1.94, 1.29) among college freshmen; the association between moderate level sedentary time and depressive symptom was statistically significant ( OR =0.83) (all P <0.05). The overall trends of the association between sedentary behavior with symptom of anxiety and depressive were similar in both boys and girls. Conclusions Sedentary behavior is associated with an increased risk of anxiety and depressive symptom in college students. Reducing video based and social based sedentary behaviors is beneficial for mental health promotion in college students.

Gastric cancer is a high-incidence malignancy that poses a serious threat to public health in China, ranking among the top three cancers in both incidence and mortality. The majority of patients are diagnosed at an advanced stage, resulting in limited treatment options and poor prognosis. To address key challenges in gastric cancer diagnosis and treatment, a research team led by Professor Jiafu Ji at Peking University Cancer Hospital has focused on the project "Development and Dissemination of Precision Medicine Approaches in Gastric Cancer Management". Through a series of high-quality multicenter clinical studies, the team established a set of new international standards in perioperative treatment, individua-lized drug selection, intelligent noninvasive diagnostics, and novel immunotherapy strategies. These advances have significantly improved treatment efficacy and reduced surgical trauma, achieving key technological breakthroughs in diagnosis, therapy, and mechanistic understanding, and systematically enhancing outcomes for gastric cancer patients. The project ' s findings had a broad international impact, including hosting China ' s first International Gastric Cancer Congress. Through nationwide dissemination, they have promoted the development of precision diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer as a discipline, and led the formulation of the National Health Commission's guidelines for gastric cancer diagnosis and treatment. In recognition of its achievements, the project was awarded the First Prize of the 2024 Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award.

Objective To investigate the incidence of functional bowel disease(FBD)and its relationship with depression,anxiety and sleep in navy submarine forces.Methods A questionnaire survey on the incidence of FBD was conducted on 364 naval soldiers who were enrolled according to Rome Ⅳ classification and diagnostic criteria.The risk factors of FBD were analyzed.The incidence of specific diseases of FBD was compared among soldiers with different jobs.The depression,anxiety,and sleep quality were investigated in FBD patients.Results In the 364 participants,132(36.3%)were diagnosed with FBD according to Roman Ⅳcriteria.Military rank and marital status might be risk factors for FBD.There was no significant difference in the overall incidence of FBD among the participants with various jobs(P>0.05).The incidence of functional constipation in the submariners was significantly higher than that in the land soldiers,while the incidence of functional diarrhea in the land soldiers was higher than that in the submariners(all P<0.05).The incidences of depression,anxiety and sleep disorder in the participants with FBD were higher than those in the participants without FBD.Conclusion There is a high incidence of FBD in submariners,which may be related to their psychological states.

Objective To investigate the relationships of the mRNA expression levels of mitochon-drial ribosomal large subunit protein 13(MRPL13),BCL2-associated protein A1(BCL2A1)and TP53 apoptosis-inducing protein 1(TP53AIP1)in the serum of breast cancer patients with their chemotherapy efficacy as well as immune function.Methods A total of 148 triple-negative breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy were selected as the study subjects.Based on chemotherapy efficacy,they were divided into responsive group(97 cases)and non-responsive group(51 cases).Sixty healthy individuals undergoing physical examinations during the same period were selected as the control group.The mRNA expression levels of MRPL13,BCL2A1 and TP53AIP1 in the serum of patients were detected.The concentrations of immunoglobulin M(IgM),immunoglobulin G(IgG)and im-munoglobulin A(IgA)in the serum of patients were measured,and the proportions of CD4+and CD8+cells in whole blood were determined.The mRNA expression levels of MRPL13,BCL2A1 and TP53AIP1 were compared between the breast cancer group and the control group.The mRNA ex-pression levels of MRPL13,BCL2A1 and TP53AIP1 were compared between the responsive and non-responsive groups.The differences in immune function indicators before and after chemotherapy be-tween the responsive and non-responsive groups,were compared.The correlations of the mRNA ex-pression levels of MRPL13,BCL2A1 and TP53AIP1 with immune indicators were analyzed.Factors influencing chemotherapy efficacy were screened.Results The mRNA expression levels of MRPL13 and BCL2A1 in the breast cancer group were higher than those in the control group,while the mRNA expression level of TP53AIP1 was lower,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).In the responsive group,the mRNA expression levels of MRPL13 and BCL2A1 were lower than those in the non-responsive group,while the mRNA expression level of TP53AIP1 was higher,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).After chemotherapy,the IgM concentration in the responsive group was higher than that in the non-responsive group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).The proportion of CD8+cells in the responsive group was lower than that in the non-responsive group,with a statistically significant difference(P＜0.05).The mRNA expres-sion level of MRPL13 was positively correlated with IgM,IgG and CD8+(r=0.672,0.716,0.824,P＜0.05).The mRNA expression level of BCL2A1 was positively correlated with IgA and CD4+(r=0.654,0.862,P＜0.05).The mRNA expression level of TP53AIP1 was negatively cor-related with CD4+and CD8+(r=-0.846,-0.792,P＜0.05).High expressions of MRPL13 and BCL2A1 were independent risk factors for chemotherapy efficacy in breast cancer patients(P＜0.05),while high expression of TP53AIP1 was protective factor(P＜0.05).Conclusion The mRNA expression levels of MRPL13,BCL2A1 and TP53AIP1 in the serum of triple-negative breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy are correlated with the levels of IgM,IgG and IgA,the proportions of CD4+and CD8+T cells,and chemotherapy efficacy.High expression of MRPL13 and BCL2A1 are independent risk factors for poor chemotherapy efficacy,while high expression of TP53AIP1 is a protective factor.

Objective: To understand the association of maternal emotional symptoms and parent-child relationship with emotional and behavioral problems (EBPs) in primary school students, so as to provide a reference for the prevention of EBPs in primary school students. Methods: In May 2023, a convenient cluster sampling method was used to select 1 324 students from two primary schools in Hefei City, Anhui Province as the study subjects. The Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9), Family Adaptation and Cohesion Evaluation ScalesⅡ (FACES Ⅱ), and Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) of parental version were used to investigate maternal emotional symptoms, parent-child relationship, and EBPs of primary school students, respectively. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis model was used to analyze the association of different maternal emotional symptoms and parent-child relationship with EBPs of primary school students. Results: The abnormal detection rates of emotional symptoms, conduct problems, hyperactivity disorder, peer problems, prosocial behavior and total difficulties in primary school students were 13.6%, 19.4%, 20.2%, 36.5%, 20.9% and 51.9%, respectively. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the detection rates of EBPs in primary school students whose mothers had anxiety and depression symptoms with low level of parent-child relationship increased ( OR=1.52-6.97, P <0.01). The combined effect of mothers who had anxiety and depression symptoms with low level of parent-child relationship increased the risk of EBPs in all dimensions of primary school students ( OR=4.07-10.14, P <0.01). After gender stratification, the combined effect of mothers who had anxiety and depression symptoms with low level of parent-child relationship increased the risk of EBPs in all dimensions of boys and girls ( OR=3.71- 10.95 , P <0.01). Conclusions Maternal emotional symptoms and parent-child relationship are associated with EBPs in primary school students. Reducing maternal anxiety and depression symptoms, and improving parent-child relationship are beneficial to reduce the incidence of EBPs problems in primary school students.

AIM:To investigate the effect of diquafosol sodium(SD)eye drops combined with sodium hyaluronate eye drops on improving tear film stability after wearing orthokeratology lenses.METHODS:Prospective study. A total of 82 patients(82 right eyes)who were recruited from the outpatient department of Anhui Aier Eye Hospital from March to August 2022. Participants were assigned to three groups: sodium hyaluronate(SH)group(30 eyes), SD group(24 eyes), and sodium diquafosol combined with sodium hyaluronate(CG)group(28 eyes)according to random number table method. All groups wore the same brand of orthokeratology lens. Non-invasive tear breakup time(NIBUT), non-invasive tear meniscus height(NITMH)and lipid layer thickness were examined before treatment, and after wearing orthokeratology lens for 1 d, 1 wk, and 1 mo. Corneal spot staining was also recorded.RESULTS:The NITMH and NIBUT of CG group and the SD group at 1 mo after treatment were higher than those before wearing lenses(both P<0.05), and the NIBUT and NITMH of the CG group were 19.74±3.29 s and 0.30±0.05 mm, respectively, which were better than those of the SD group(NIBUT: 16.09±2.98 s, NITMH: 0.22±0.08 mm)and the SH group(NIBUT: 15.67±3.90 s, NITMH: 0.22±0.04 mm; all P<0.01). There were no significant differences in lipid layer thickness between the groups(all P>0.05). The incidence of corneal staining did not differ significantly among the groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION:The combination of diquafosol sodium and sodium hyaluronate eye drops demonstrates a superior effect in improving NIBUT and NITMH after wearing orthokeratology lenses for 1 mo, effectively enhancing tear film stability in patients wearing orthokeratology lenses.

Objective To investigate the incidence and influencing factors of aggressive behavior in adolescent inpatients with mental disorders.Methods A total of 372 patients with mental disorders admitted to the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University from January to December 2022 were selected as research subjects.The occurrence of aggressive behavior and its influencing factors were analyzed.Results Among the 372 patients,38(10.2％)cases had aggressive behavior during hospitalization.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression results showed that the history of aggressive behavior,only child,and high irritation factor scores were the risk factors of aggressive behavior in hospitalized adolescents with mental disorders(P＜0.05).Mild,outgoing,insecure and isolated personalities before the onset were protective factors of aggressive behavior in hospitalized adolescents with mental disorders(P＜0.05).Conclusion Adolescent inpatients with mental disorders are likely to have aggressive behavior.Those who have aggressive behavior before,are the only child in their family and get a high score of irritant factors need more attention.Corresponding nursing interventions should be taken in time through nursing assessment to reduce the occurrence of aggressive behavior.

Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of atorvastatin combined with indobufen in the treatment of elderly patients with diabetic kidney disease (DKD) complicated with large atheromatous ischemic stroke (LAA-IS) during convalescence.Methods:The clinical data of 102 elderly patients with DKD complicated with LAA-IS during convalescence from September 2018 to April 2022 in Baoding Second Central Hospital were retrospectively analyzed. Among them, 51 patients were treated with atorvastatin combined with indobufen (observation group), 51 patients were treated with atorvastatin combined with aspirin (control group), and both groups were treated continuously for 6 months. The prethrombotic state indexes, neurological function and quality of daily life, carotid artery ultrasound indexes, renal fibrosis indexes before treatment and after treatment were compared between two group. The prethrombotic state indexes included arachidonic acid (AA) and adenosine diphosphate (ADP) induction platelet aggregation rate, fibrinogen (FIB), protein C; the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) was used to evaluate the neurological function, and the modified Barthel index (MBI) was used to evaluate the quality of daily life; carotid artery ultrasound indexes included carotid artery intima-media thickness (IMT) and maximum plaque area; the renal fibrosis indexes included transforming growth factor-β 1 (TGF-β 1), matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), hyaluronic acid and platelet derived growth factor-BB (PDGF-BB). The adverse reactions were recorded. Results:There were no statistical differences in the all indexes before treatment between two groups ( P>0.05). In two groups, compared before treatment, the AA induction platelet aggregation rate, ADP induction platelet aggregation rate, FIB, NIHSS score, IMT and maximum plaque area after treatment were significantly lower, the protein C and MBI score were significantly higher, and there were statistical differences ( P<0.01); but there were no statistical differences after treatment between two groups ( P>0.05). The TGF-β 1, MMP-9, hyaluronic acid and PDGF-BB after treatment in two groups were significantly lower than before treatment, and the indexes in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group: (39.46 ± 6.89) μg/L vs. (45.04 ± 8.20) μg/L, (278.46 ± 49.39) μg/L vs. (327.30 ± 57.28) μg/L, (102.37 ± 20.62) μg/L vs. (116.84 ± 24.97) μg/L vs. (25.26 ± 4.45) μg/L vs. (28.13 ± 5.08) μg/L, with statistically significant differences( P<0.01). The incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group: 7.84% (4/51) vs. 23.53% (12/51), and there was statistical difference ( P<0.05). Conclusions:Compared with atorvastatin combined with aspirin, atorvastatin combined with indobufen in elderly patients with DKD complicated with LAA-IS during convalescence has the same effect in improving the related indicators of prethrombotic state, reducing neurological function deficit, improving the ability of daily living, and reversing carotid atherosclerosis. However, atorvastatin combined with indobufen can further protect renal function with higher safety.

Objective:To investigate the incidence of postoperative complications in Chinese patients with gastric or colorectal cancer, and to evaluate the risk factors for postoperative complications.Methods:This was a national, multicenter, prospective, registry-based, cohort study of data obtained from the database of the Prevalence of Abdominal Complications After Gastro- enterological Surgery (PACAGE) study sponsored by the China Gastrointestinal Cancer Surgical Union. The PACAGE database prospectively collected general demographic characteristics, protocols for perioperative treatment, and variables associated with postoperative complications in patients treated for gastric or colorectal cancer in 20 medical centers from December 2018 to December 2020. The patients were grouped according to the presence or absence of postoperative complications. Postoperative complications were categorized and graded in accordance with the expert consensus on postoperative complications in gastrointestinal oncology surgery and Clavien-Dindo grading criteria. The incidence of postoperative complications of different grades are presented as bar charts. Independent risk factors for occurrence of postoperative complications were identified by multifactorial unconditional logistic regression.Results:The study cohort comprised 3926 patients with gastric or colorectal cancer, 657 (16.7%) of whom had a total of 876 postoperative complications. Serious complications (Grade III and above) occurred in 4.0% of patients (156/3926). The rate of Grade V complications was 0.2% (7/3926). The cohort included 2271 patients with gastric cancer with a postoperative complication rate of 18.1% (412/2271) and serious complication rate of 4.7% (106/2271); and 1655 with colorectal cancer, with a postoperative complication rate of 14.8% (245/1655) and serious complication rate of 3.0% (50/1655). The incidences of anastomotic leakage in patients with gastric and colorectal cancer were 3.3% (74/2271) and 3.4% (56/1655), respectively. Abdominal infection was the most frequently occurring complication, accounting for 28.7% (164/572) and 39.5% (120/304) of postoperative complications in patients with gastric and colorectal cancer, respectively. The most frequently occurring grade of postoperative complication was Grade II, accounting for 65.4% (374/572) and 56.6% (172/304) of complications in patients with gastric and colorectal cancers, respectively. Multifactorial analysis identified (1) the following independent risk factors for postoperative complications in patients in the gastric cancer group: preoperative comorbidities (OR=2.54, 95%CI: 1.51-4.28, P<0.001), neoadjuvant therapy (OR=1.42, 95%CI:1.06-1.89, P=0.020), high American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) scores (ASA score 2 points:OR=1.60, 95% CI: 1.23-2.07, P<0.001, ASA score ≥3 points:OR=0.43, 95% CI: 0.25-0.73, P=0.002), operative time >180 minutes (OR=1.81, 95% CI: 1.42-2.31, P<0.001), intraoperative bleeding >50 mL (OR=1.29,95%CI: 1.01-1.63, P=0.038), and distal gastrectomy compared with total gastrectomy (OR=0.65,95%CI: 0.51-0.83, P<0.001); and (2) the following independent risk factors for postoperative complications in patients in the colorectal cancer group: female (OR=0.60, 95%CI: 0.44-0.80, P<0.001), preoperative comorbidities (OR=2.73, 95%CI: 1.25-5.99, P=0.030), neoadjuvant therapy (OR=1.83, 95%CI:1.23-2.72, P=0.008), laparoscopic surgery (OR=0.47, 95%CI: 0.30-0.72, P=0.022), and abdominoperineal resection compared with low anterior resection (OR=2.74, 95%CI: 1.71-4.41, P<0.001). Conclusion:Postoperative complications associated with various types of infection were the most frequent complications in patients with gastric or colorectal cancer. Although the risk factors for postoperative complications differed between patients with gastric cancer and those with colorectal cancer, the presence of preoperative comorbidities, administration of neoadjuvant therapy, and extent of surgical resection, were the commonest factors associated with postoperative complications in patients of both categories.
