ObjectiveTo characterize the evidence distribution and methodological quality of randomized controlled trials （RCTs） on oral Chinese herbal medicine （CHM） for atopic dermatitis （AD） based on evidence mapping. MethodsSeven databases （CNKI， Wanfang Data， VIP， CBM， Cochrane Library， PubMed， and Embase） and the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry were searched for the RCTs in Chinese and English. Evidence distribution was presented graphically and textually， and methodological quality was assessed via the Cochrane Risk of Bias tool （ROB 1.0）. ResultsA total of 168 RCTs were included. The number of annual publications showing an increasing trend， and 72.6% RCTs had sample sizes of 51-100 participants. The studies evaluated 108 distinct CHM interventions categorized as decoctions， granules， Chinese patent medicines， and extracts. Compound Glycyrrhizin was the most frequently used， followed by Xiaofengsan and Chushi Weiling decoction. Among the RCTs， 57.1% had the treatment courses of 4-8 weeks. Outcome measures predominantly focused on clinical response rate， skin lesion severity scores， and adverse events， with less attention to TCM symptom scores， skin barrier function， and relapse rates. The overall risk of bias was generally high. ConclusionWhile CHM for AD is a research hotspot and demonstrates clinical advantages， the related studies have problems such as unclear clinical positioning， poor research standardization and methodological quality， and insufficient prominence of TCM clinical advantages. Large-sample， methodologically rigorous， and high-quality studies are needed to enhance the evidence base for CHM in treating AD.

Objective To explore the effects of single-session table tennis exercise with different intensities on working memory and the associated cognitive neural processing mechanisms in college students with depressive symptoms by using event-related potential(ERP)technology.Methods A convenience sampling approach was employed to recruit 100 college students with depressive symptoms from a university.Participants were randomly assigned at a 1∶1∶1∶1 ratio to low-intensity exercise group,moderate-intensity exercise group,high-intensity exercise group,or control group.The exercise groups participated in a single 30-min table tennis intervention at intensities corresponding to 57%-64%of maximum heart rate(HRmax)and rate of perceived exertion(RPE)scores ranging from 9-11,65%-75%HRmax and RPE scores 12-13,and 76%-95%HRmax and RPE scores of 14-17(5-min warm-up,20-min monitored exercise,5-min cool-down).The control group did not receive any exercise intervention.Pre-and post-intervention assessments of verbal working memory(VWM)and spatial working memory(SWM)were performed,alongside the recording of ERP components,including the amplitude and latency of N2 and P3,during the tasks.Results A total of 91 participants(20 in the low-intensity exercise group,25 in the moderate-intensity exercise group,23 in the high-intensity exercise group,and 23 in the control group)were enrolled for analysis.In the VWM task,the main effect of time on accuracy was found to be significant(F(1,89)=5.942,P=0.017,partial η2=0.064).Post-intervention,accuracy was significantly improved in the moderate-intensity and high-intensity exercise groups(change=0.027,95%confidence interval[CI]0.001-0.053,P=0.037;change=0.029,95%CI 0.002-0.055,P=0.040).The main effect of time on reaction time was also significant(F(1,89)=7.244,P=0.009,partial η2=0.077).The interaction between group and time was also significant(F(3,87)=2.844,P=0.042,partial η2=0.089).After the intervention,the reaction time was reduced in the low-intensity and moderate-intensity exercise groups(change=-0.095,95%CI-0.183--0.007,P=0.035;change=-0.079,95%CI-0.158-0,P=0.049).The interaction between time and electrode location in the P3 latency in ERP components was significant(F(3,87)=5.785,P＜0.001,partial η2=0.062),while the interactions for other ERP measures were not significant(all P＞0.05).In the SWM task,the main effect of time on accuracy was significant(F(1,89)=5.092,P=0.027,partial η2=0.055),while the interaction between group and time was not significant(F(3,87)=0.799,P=0.498,partial η2=0.027).After the intervention,accuracy was improved in the moderate-intensity exercise group(change=0.019,95%CI 0-0.037,P=0.046).The main effect of time on reaction time was significant(F(1,89)=14.322,P＜0.001,partial η2=0.141).The interaction between group and time was not significant(F(3,87)=1.521,P=0.215,partial η2=0.050).After the intervention,reaction time was shortened in the moderate-intensity and high-intensity exercise groups(change=-0.082,95%CI-0.136--0.027,P=0.004;change=-0.075,95%CI-0.131--0.018,P=0.029).The interaction between time and electrode location in the P3 amplitude in ERP components was significant(F(3,87)=5.475,P=0.001,partial η2=0.059),while the interactions for other ERP measures were not significant(all P＞0.05).Conclusion Single-session table tennis exercise with different intensities has a positive effect on working memory in college students with depressive symptoms.Moderate-to high-intensity exercise can enhance VWM accuracy,while low-to moderate-intensity exercise can reduce VWM reaction time.Furthermore,moderate-intensity exercise can improve SWM accuracy,and moderate-to high-intensity exercise can shorten SWM reaction time.Additionally,high-intensity exercise can lead to greater activation of ERP components.

ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship of physical activity (PA) and cognitive function to sleep quality in older adults with cognitive impairment based on resting electroencephalogram (EEG), and to explore the mediating role of specific EEG markers in the relationship between PA and sleep quality. MethodsFrom March to May, 2024, 137 older adults were recruited from Chenfu Jiayuan and Qiangwei Jiuli in Songjiang district, and Luyan communities in Jinshan district, Shanghai. The assessments included Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short Form (IPAQ-SF) and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), along with a five-minute EEG recording. ResultsThere was significant difference in sleep quality among older adults with different levels of cognitive impairment (t = -7.400, P < 0.001). The PSQI total score was negatively correlated with MoCA scores (r = -0.412, P < 0.001) and total physical activity level (PAL) (r = -0.363, P < 0.001). The θ power in the frontal areas (F3, F4) was significantly correlated with both PSQI scores and PAL (P < 0.01). The θ power in F3 + F4 exhibited a significant partial (effect size = -0.0004, 95%CI -0.0007 to -0.0002) mediating effect between PA and sleep quality in older adults with cognitive impairment. ConclusionOlder adults with more severe cognitive impairment tend to have poorer sleep quality, whereas higher PAL is associated with better sleep quality. PA can indirectly influence sleep quality in older adults with cognitive impairment by affecting θ power (F3 + F4).

In response to the Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Promoting the Inheritance， Innovation， and Development of traditional Chinese medicine（TCM） and the spirit of the National Conference on TCM， Chinese Association of Chinese Medicine organized experts in Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery of traditional Chinese and western medicine to discuss the clinical advantages of TCM and integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of allergic rhinitis （AR） and they reached a basic consensus. In recent years， the prevalence of AR has been on the rise， threatening the quality of life of patients and giving rise to a heavy burden to both the patients and the society. AR is resulted from immune imbalance rather than reduced immunity or hyperimmunity， and the imbalance is similar to the Yin-yang disharmony in TCM. In the treatment of this disease， western medicine features rapid onset. However， it is cost-intensive and causes severe surgical trauma， and the recurrence is common. TCM boasts diverse methods for AR， which can be used in all stages of this disease. It has advantages in controlling symptoms such as nasal congestion， runny nose， or dysosmia in the attack stage， preventing recurrence in the remission stage， and treating refractory AR or steroid-resistant AR. In particular， acupuncture enjoys a reputation in treatment of AR， which has been supported by evidence-based medicine and recommended by guidelines. While treating local symptoms of AR， TCM regulates the psychosomatic conditions， which facilitates chronic disease management and long-term follow-up. We should integrate the advantages of TCM and western medicine， give full play to the unique nonnegligible and irreplaceable advantages of TCM， formulate a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment scheme for learning and promotion， and summarize the research outcomes to promote the theoretical innovation of TCM on AR from the perspective of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.

To investigate the mechanism of JinShuiBao capsule on improving respiratory function and lung tissue pathology in rat pneumoconiosis model. Chronic pneumoconiosis rat model was established by tracheal injection of quartz dust. JinShuiBao was administrated orally by 600 and 300 mg/kg, once daily for 6 months. At the 1st, 3rd and 6th month of administration, 6 rats in each group were taken for hemorheology, vascular endothelial function, immunoinflammatory cytokines and oxidative stress. The results showed that high dose of JinShuiBao had a significant improvement on the plasma viscosity at each time point(P< 0. 05)during the 6-month trial, and partially improved the whole blood viscosity. Both dose of JinShuiBao capsule significantly decreased the levels of serum inflammatory cytokines such as TGF-β, TNF-α and IL-6(P< 0. 05, P< 0. 01), and high dose group could significantly decrease the level of CD4+/CD8+(P< 0. 01). The high dosage of JinShuiBao could obviously reduce the level of serum MDA and increase the activity of SOD(P< 0. 05), and obviously reduced the number of leukocytes in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of model rats. In the high-dose group, the levels of ET, NO and PC in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid were significantly improved in all the experimental periods(P< 0. 05, P< 0. 01), while the low-dose group also had a statistically significant improvement at 3 month later. These results suggested that the improvement of JinShuiBao capsule on pneumoconiosis rats involved various mechanism, including blood viscosity, systemic and pulmonary inflammatory response, vascular endothelial injury, and oxidative stress in the whole body and lung fibrosis.

ObjectiveTo investigate the impact of antimicrobial resistance on clinical outcomes and medical care costs among patients with imipenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (IRAB) nosocomial infection.MethodsA retrospective matched case-control study was performed to compare the differences of clinical outcomes and medical care costs between patients with IRAB infection and patients with imipenem-susceptive Acinetobacter baumannii (ISAB) infection in a tertiary care university teaching hospital in China from January 2007 to June 2009.Cases were matched to controls with ratio of 1:1 on the basis of age,sex,severity of underlying diseases,source of infection,duration of hospitalization period and length of hospital stay before onset of infection.The measurement data between groups were compared by t test and rank test.The numeration data between groups were compared by x2 test. Multiple analysis was performed by Logistic regression.ResultsThe total mortality rate of IRAB infection patients was significantly higher than that of ISAB infection patients (39.1％ vs 20.3 ％ ; x2 =11.728,P＜0.01).Among 138 pairs of patients in IRAB group and ISAB group,there were 72 matched case-control pairs survived,which were significantly different in length of total hospital stay (28.5 days vs 23.0 days; x2 =2.886,P＜0.01) and intensive care unit (ICU) stay (14.5 days vs 0 day; x2 =4.844,P＜0.01).For all the 138 case-control pairs,everyday total hospitalization cost and everyday antibiotic therapy cost in IRAB cases were both higher than ISAB controls (RMB 3652 yuan vs RMB 2092 yuan; Z=3.792,P＜0.01 and RMB 555 yuan vs RMB 338 yuan; Z=4.209,P＜0.01).ConclusionIRAB infection can increase the mortality rate,lengthen hospital stay and elevate the medical costs notably.

Objective To investigate the feasibility of application of anterograde tubular ileal fistula in Ⅰ stage anastomosis of colon cancer with acute obstruction. Method Eighty patients of colon cancer with acute obstruction who treated with anterograde tubular ileal fistula in Ⅰ stage anastomosis were analyzed restropectively. Result Clinical observation showed that 80 patients were cured and discharged,no one did occur anastomotic leakage, abdominal abscess,and other serious complications. Conclusion If correctly graspe the timing of operation for colon cancer with acute obstruction,irrigation methods,good perioperative management,select the anterograde tubular ileal fistula, Ⅰ stage resection and anastomosis is safe and feasible.

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of transcutaneous autologous bone marrow transplantation in the treatment of delayed union after internal fixation of limb fracture. Methods 41 patients with delayed union after internal fixation of limb fracture with informed consent in our hospital were divided into two groups by number table,20 patients in control group were treated with conventional therapy,21 patients in observation group were treated with transcutaneous autologous bone marrow transplantation,the effects and the occurrence of complications of two groups were compared and observed. Results In observation group,excellent healing in 13 cases(61.9%),good in 7 cases(33.3%),failure in 1 case(4.8%),and in the control group,6 patients(30.0%),11 cases(55.0%),3 cases (15.0%),the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(u=4.1934,P＜0.05);the complication rate of the observation group was 9.5%,compared with 15.0% of the control group,there was no significant difference(x2=0.034,P＞0.05). Conclusion Transcutaneous autologous bone marrow transplantation in the treatment of delayed union after internal fixation of limb fracture had better efficacy and less complication.

Objective: To summarize the experience in the treatment of candidiasis albicans. Methods: 95 cases aged 5 months～78 years old with candidiasis albicans were treated by fluconazole and polyactin A etc, the Candida albicans were examined by smear examination.Results: The rate of cure was 35.79 %, that of improvement was 57.89%, the clearance rate of Candida albicans was 80.59%.Conclusion: The Cadida albicans is opportunistic pathogen. Fluconazole is effective in the treatment of candidiasis albicans.
