Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of CT angiography(CTA)imaging and fluoroscopic fusion navigation techniques in left atrial appendage closure(LAAC).Methods A total of 82 patients underwent LAAC in this prospective study and were matched(1:1)according to whether they underwent image fusion or not.The fusion group(41 cases)consisted of patients who received LAAC with the support of CTA and X-ray fluoroscopy fusion technology;The non fusion group(41 cases)consisted of patients who underwent surgery using traditional surgical methods without the support of this technology.Record the intraoperative indicators,perioperative complications,and postoperative follow-up outcomes of both groups.Results The surgical time in the fusion group was significantly shorter than that in the non fusion group[(50.23±25.23)min vs.(65.71±29.15)min,P=0.012],The difference is statistically significant.Compared with the non fusion group,the fusion group significantly reduced the total radiation dose[(195.15±205.59)mGy vs.(351.08±196.54)mGy],dose area product[(22.47±20.05)Gy·cm2vs.(38.12±19.38)Gy·cm2],and X-ray fluoroscopy time[(9.03±3.58)min vs.(13.35±4.23)min].Correspondingly to the radiation dose,the amount of contrast agent used in the fusion group was also relatively reduced[(59.32±24.65)ml vs.(93.12±35.08)ml],and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.001).There was a significant difference in the rate of repeated interval puncture(2.44％vs.12.20％,P=0.090),but the difference was not statistically significant.Occluder implantation success rates were identical(100.00％vs.100.00％).No statistically significant differences in procedural complications were observed between the groups.Conclusions Three-dimensional CTA and fluoroscopic fusion navigation techniques are not only feasible and safe but also enhance the efficiency of LAAC procedures.

Objective Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and tuberculosis (TB) are major public health and social issues worldwide. The long-term follow-up of COVID-19 with pulmonary TB (PTB) survivors after discharge is unclear. This study aimed to comprehensively describe clinical outcomes, including sequela and recurrence at 3, 12, and 24 months after discharge, among COVID-19 with PTB survivors. Methods From January 22, 2020 to May 6, 2022, with a follow-up by August 26, 2022, a prospective, multicenter follow-up study was conducted on COVID-19 with PTB survivors after discharge in 13hospitals from four provinces in China. Clinical outcomes, including sequela, recurrence of COVID-19, and PTB survivors, were collected via telephone and face-to-face interviews at 3, 12, and 24 months after discharge. Results Thirty-two COVID-19 with PTB survivors were included. The median age was 52 (45, 59) years, and 23 (71.9％) were men. Among them, nearly two-thirds (62.5％) of the survivors were moderate, three (9.4％) were severe, and more than half (59.4％) had at least one comorbidity (PTB excluded). The proportion of COVID-19 survivors with at least one sequela symptom decreased from 40.6％ at 3 months to 15.8％ at 24 months, with anxiety having a higher proportion over a follow-up. Cough and amnesia recovered at the 12-month follow-up, while anxiety, fatigue, and trouble sleeping remained after 24 months. Additionally, one (3.1％) case presented two recurrences of PTB and no re-positive COVID-19 during the follow-up period. Conclusion The proportion of long symptoms in COVID-19 with PTB survivors decreased over time, while nearly one in six still experience persistent symptoms with a higher proportion of anxiety. The recurrence of PTB and the psychological support of COVID-19 with PTB after discharge require more attention.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the comparability of the Freelite, Binding Site, Beckman and N Latex FLC, Siemens in the detection of serum free light chain (sFLC) . METHODS: Fifty newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (MM) patients in Tianjin Institute of Blood Research from November 2019 to February 2020 were enrolled. The two systems (Freelite, Binding Site, Beckman and N Latex FLC, Siemens) were used to detect the sFLC of the samples. Outlier detection was performed by ESD method, methodological comparison and deviation assessment were performed by Passing-Bablok regression and Bland-Altman regression. RESULTS: Both the systems could quantitatively analyze free kappa light chain serum samples and free lambda light chain samples. Freelite, Binding Site, Beckman and N Latex FLC, Siemens free light chain test showed FLC-κ：36.5 (6.5, 194), 40.5 (6.94, 288), FLC-λ: 30.1 (4.3, 170.5), 35.1 (2.28, 526), rFLC (FLC-κ/ FLC-λ) : 0.82 (0.05, 43.25), 1.03 (0.03, 32.04), dFLC (｜FLC-κ- FLC-λ｜) : -5.8 (-161.97, 183.7), 1.1 (-505.1, 279.01), which existed no outliers. There were systematic differences, and the deviation level was not within the clinically acceptable range. CONCLUSION Both the systems can meet the needs of clinical diagnosis and treatment, but there is a significant deviation between the two systems, the results are not comparable, and should be analyzed separately. In particular, the same system should be selected for monitoring the prognosis of MM.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the regulation effect of myeloid leukemia No.1 Chinese herb medicine prescription combined with chemotherapy on Th17 cells in bone marrow fluid of AML patients, so as to provide guidance for improving AML treatment effect and patients' long-term survival. METHODS: Seventy patients with AML who were hospitalized in Department of Hematology, Wuwei People's Hospital from April 2017 to August 2019 were selected and enrolled in AML group, 25 healthy volunteers were selected and enrolled in control group; then according to therapeutic regimen, AML patients were divided into 2 groups: combined therapy group (myeloid leukemia NO.1 Chinese herb medicine prescription combined with chemotherapy) and non-combined therapy group (chemotherapy alone). Flow cytometry was used to detect the ratio of CD3 RESULTS: The ratio of CD3 CONCLUSION Th17 cells expression in bone marrow of newly diagnoses and relapsed AML patients significantly increase, and decrease significantly after treatment. Myeloid leukemia No.1 Chinese herb prescription combined with chemotherapy can significantly increase the CR rate and reduce the RL rate for AML.

OBJECTIVE: To detect the level of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in bone marrow of patients with non-M3 acute leukemia (AL), and estimate its relationship with prognosis. METHODS: From January 2016 to December 2019, 114 patients with AL in department of Hematology, Wuwei People's Hospital were selected as study group, and 25 healthy volunteers were enrolled as control group. The concentration of VEGF in bone marrow was detected by ELISA. The patients were divided into high and low concentration group according to the level of VEGF. The overall survival (OS) and event-free survival (EFS) were compared among different groups. RESULTS: The level of VEGF in patients with AL was significantly higher than that in the control group. The median OS and EFS in the low concentration group was 34.5 and 32 months, respectively, while, in the high concentration group was 30 and 26 months, respectively. The differences between the two groups were statistically significant (P=0.010). There were significant differences in OS rate (P=0.035) and EFS rate (P=0.026) between low and high concentration group. Multivariate analysis showed that high VEGF concentration was an independent risk factor affecting OS (HR=2.619, 95%CI 1.070-6.406, P=0.035) and EFS (HR=2.221, 95%CI 1.074-4.552, P=0.031) in AL patients. CONCLUSION VEGF highly expresses in the bone marrow of patients with AL at initial diagnosis and relapse, and shows adverse effects on the prognosis.

The pain-relieving effect of acupuncture is known to involve primary afferent nerves (PANs) via their roles in signal transmission to the CNS. Using single-unit recording in rats, we characterized the generation and transmission of electrical signals in Aβ and Aδ fibers induced by acupuncture-like stimuli. Acupuncture-like signals were elicited in PANs using three techniques: manual acupuncture (MAc), emulated acupuncture (EAc), and electro-acupuncture (EA)-like peripheral electrical stimulation (PES). The discharges evoked by MAc and EAc were mostly in a burst pattern with average intra-burst and inter-burst firing rates of 90 Hz and 2 Hz, respectively. The frequency of discharges in PANs was correlated with the frequency of PES. The highest discharge frequency was 246 Hz in Aβ fibers and 180 Hz in Aδ fibers. Therefore, EA in a dense-disperse mode (at alternating frequency between 2 Hz and 15 Hz or between 2 Hz and 100 Hz) best mimics MAc. Frequencies of EA output >250 Hz appear to be obsolete for pain relief.

Objective To investigate whether elevated baseline levels of high sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hsCRP) and neutrophil (NE) are associated with an increased risk of breast cancer in Kailuan female cohort. Methods Females from Kailuan cohort (2006-2007) were included in this study. Information on check-up, hsCRP and NE were collected at baseline for all subjects. Multivariable Cox proportional hazards regression models were used to calculate hazard ratios (HR) and 95% confidence intervals (95%CI) of association between baseline hsCRP and NE values and breast cancer risk. Results By December 31, 2015, a total of 18 866 participants were enrolled in this study. During the follow-up, 183 new cases of breast cancer were observed. All participants were divided into three groups according to the level of hsCRP (<1 mg/L, 1-3 mg/L and >3 mg/L). The cumulative incidence of breast cancer were 829/105, 1 211/105 and 1 495/105 in these 3 groups, respectively ( 2=12.08， P=0.002). Compared with participants with lower hsCRP levels (<1 mg/L), individuals with the highest hsCRP (>3 mg/L) levels had significantly increased risk of breast cancer (HR=1.71,95%CI: 1.18-2.47, P=0.005), howerver, we didn’t find the statistically significant association between NE level (<3.70×109/Lvs. ≥3.70×109/L) and the risk of brease cancer (P>0.05). Conclusions Elevated levels of hsCRP at baseline might increase the risk of breast cancer in females.

Echinococcus granulosus is an important zoonotic parasite globally causing cystic echinococcosis (CE) in humans and animals. In this study, prevalence of CE and variation of cox1 gene sequence were analyzed with isolates E. granulosus collected from different areas in northern Xinjiang, China. The survey showed that 3.5% of sheep and 4.1% of cattle were infected with CE. Fragment of cox1 was amplified from all the positive sheep and cattle samples by PCR. In addition, 26 positive samples across the 4 areas were included. The isolates were all E. granulosus sensu stricto (s.s.) containing 15 haplotypes (Hap1-15), and clustered into 2 genotypes, G1 (90.1%, 91/101) and G3 (9.9%, 10/101). Hap1 was the most common haplotype (48.5%, 49/101). Hap9 were found in humans samples, indicating that sheep and cattle reservoir human CE. It is indicate that E. granulosus may impact on control of CE in livestock and humans in the region.

A series of novel benzimidazole and benzothiazole derivatives were designed and synthesized as inhibitors of SIRT1-SIRT3. The target compounds were synthesized from potassium O-ethyldithiocarbonate through a three-step route. The structures of the obtained compounds were elucidated by ¹H NMR and HR-MS. Of all compounds, six showed potent SIRT2-inhibitory activities with IC₅₀ values ranging from 2.8 to 21.2 μmol·L^-1. Among them, compound 10c displayed the most potent SIRT2-inhibitory activities (IC₅₀ = 2.8 μmol·L^-1), with more than 35-fold selectivity over SIRT1 and SIRT3 (IC₅₀>100 μmol·L^-1).
