There were 43 cases of falling injuries from high places, 22 cases of traffic accidents, 11 cases of crushing injuries and heavy objects. Fifty-five patients were employed before the injury, while 21 were not. Fractures were classified according to the Tile classification, with 72 cases classified as type B and 4 cases as type C. Robot-assisted fixation techniques included internal fixator (INFIX), anterior ring screws, sacroiliac screws, and LC-II screws. Intraoperative blood loss, fluoroscopy frequency, surgical time, and the success rate of initial guidewire placement were recorded. Fracture reduction quality was evaluated using the Matta criteria, and postoperative pelvic function recovery was assessed using the Majeed criteria. Results:A total of 150 surgical procedures were performed on 76 patients, including 34 cases of INFIX fixation, 48 cases of anterior ring screws, 61 cases of sacroiliac joint screws, and 7 cases of LC-II screws. The mean intraoperative fluoroscopy frequency was 46.63±17.50 times (range, 15-93 times). Intraoperative fluoroscopy frequency varied among different fixation techniques, with INFIX group at 16.44±4.32 times, LC-II group at 21.59±5.80 times, anterior ring screws group at 29.44±11.65 times, and sacroiliac screws group at 23.10±11.87 times. The intraoperative blood loss was 20 (10, 47.5) ml (range, 5-300 ml), and the surgical time was 105 (86, 150) min (range, 30-290 min). The mean surgical time varied among different fixation techniques. All patients were followed up for an average of 6.46±2.26 months (range, 3-16 months). Clinical healing was achieved in all patients within 6 months, with an average time of 3.14±0.50 months. At the last follow-up, fracture reduction quality assessed by the Matta score was excellent in 21 cases and good in 43 cases, with an excellent/good rate of 84% (64/76). The Majeed score was 81.82±9.14 points (range, 50-92 points). For patients who were employed before the injury, the Majeed score was 86.55±4.85 points (range, 60-92 points), with 49 cases rated as excellent, 5 cases as good, and 1 case as fair. For patients who were not employed before the injury, the Majeed score was 69.43±5.34 points (range, 50-73 points), with 18 cases rated as excellent, 2 cases as good, and 1 case as fair. The overall excellent and good rate was 97% (74/76). Among patients who underwent INFIX internal fixation, 8 cases experienced lateral femoral cutaneous nerve injury postoperatively, all of which recovered sensation after 3 months; 1 case using LC-II screws experienced screw loosening postoperatively and was advised to reduce activity, then the screw was removed after fracture healing at 6 months postoperatively; 1 case using anterior ring channel screws experienced surgical site infection postoperatively, which was controlled after debridement. Conclusion:In the treatment of unstable pelvic ring multiple fractures, robot-assisted screw fixation has less blood loss, less fluoroscopy times, high success rate of planning guide needle, satisfactory reduction quality and postoperative function.

ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship between mosquito density fluctuations and meteorological factors, so as to provide a scientific basis for mosquito surveillance analysis, risk assessment, and comprehensive prevention and control. MethodsMosquito surveillance and monitoring data of 2020‒2023 was obtained from on-site supervisory sampling by Songjiang Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and meteorological data was obtained from the Wheat A wheat malt-agro-meteorological big data system. Excel 2019 and SPSS 25.0 software were used to organize and analyze the mosquito number, species composition, and seasonal changes in mosquito density captured by the CO2-light trap at rach monitoring site. Circular distribution method was used to calculate the peak time of mosquito density, combined with the meteorological data of the same period to explore the impact of meteorological factors on the results of mosquito surveillance. ResultsThere was a statistical difference in the overall distribution of mosquito quantity in different habitats(H=23.11, P<0.05), 2020‒2023. In addition, the results showed that July 28th was the peak day for mosquito density, and the duration from June 13th to September 11th was the seasonal peak period for mosquitoes. Pearson correlation analysis showed a positive correlation between mosquito density and average air temperature, average highest air temperature, average lowest air temperature, extreme maximum air temperature, extreme minimum air temperature, precipitation, and number of precipitation days (all P<0.01). While, there was no significant correlation between average wind speed and mosquito density (P>0.05). Multiple stepwise regression analysis resulted in the equation of Y=0.151Xextreme minimum temperature+0.321Xnumber of precipitation days+1.002XSQRT precipitation-1.288 (F=102.635, P<0.05). ConclusionThe CO2-light trap is advisable to monitor the habitats of farmers, livestock sheds, residential areas, parks, hospitals, and other external environments. Air temperature and precipitation have a significant impact on mosquito density. It is recommended to implement comprehensive prevention and control measures to reduce mosquito density and prevent mosquito-borne diseases before the peak period of mosquitoes.

Objective To investigate the effect of baicalein (BAI) on autophagy of gastric cancer cell line BGC-823 cells by upregulating microRNA-7-5p (miR-7) and its possible mechanism. Methods The MTT method was used to screen the optimal drug concentration of BGC-823 cells treated with BAI. Real-time quantitative PCR was used to detect the transfection efficiency of BGC-823 cell line stably transfected with miR-7. The experiment was divided into control group (mimic-NC), miR-7 group (miR-7 mimic) and BAI group ( miR-7 overexpression combined with BAI treatment group). MTT assay, plate cloning assay and EdU assay were used to detect cell proliferation. The expression levels of autophagy related 16 like 1 (ATG16L1), sequestosome 1 (p62), Beclin 1, autophagy-related protein 5 (ATG5) and microtubule-assaiated protein 1 light chain3 (LC3) were detected by immunofluorescence staining and Western blot. Network pharmacology analysis to predict possible signaling pathways; Western blot was used to detect the expression levels of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B/mammalian target of rapamycin (PI3K/AKT/mTOR) signaling pathway. Results 50 μmol/L BAI significantly inhibited the proliferation ability of BGC-823 cells; Compared with the control group, the expression level of miR-7 was significantly increased after BAI treatment. The cell proliferation of the miR-7 group was significantly inhibited, and the protein expression level of autophagy-related proteins and the LC3II/LC3I ratio were significantly up-regulated, which promoted the formation of autophagosomes and inhibited the formation of autophagic flow in BGC-823 cells. Compared with the miR-7 group, the BAI group could further inhibit the proliferation of BGC-823 cells, induce the formation of autophagosomes, but inhibit the production of autophagy flow. Network pharmacology analysis showed that the common target genes of BAI, gastric cancer and autophagy may be related to PI3K/AKT signaling pathway. Compared with the control group, the phosphorylation levels of p-PI3K, p-AKT and p-mTOR in the miR-7 group were significantly inhibited, and the phosphorylation levels of these proteins were further inhibited in the BAI group. Conclusion BAI-mediated miR-7 inhibits the formation of autophagosomes in BGC-823 cells by inhibiting PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway, and inhibits the generation of autophagic flow.

Shengjun ZHANG ; Chunxiang WANG
International Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2024;47(6):616-621
Higher doses of radiation from computed tomography (CT) scans can cause health problems. The radiation dose should be as low as possible while still meeting diagnostic needs. However, low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) increases image noise, reduces image quality and compromises diagnostic accuracy. Researchers have focused on the denoising technology for LDCT image. In this review, the research progress of projection domain pre-processing denoising, image reconstruction denoising, image domain post-processing denoising and dual-domain processing denoising algorithm based on deep learning for LDCT image were reviewed. The current problems of LDCT denoising were also summarized to promote the application of deep learning in LDCT image denoising.
