Animal model research on spleen and stomach diseases in traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） is of great significance for elucidating the nature of diseases and syndromes and for revealing the mechanisms of action of Chinese herbal medicinals. At present， studies on classical TCM syndrome models of spleen and stomach diseases mainly focus on spleen deficiency syndrome， liver constraint syndrome， and damp-heat syndrome. Model construction is mostly based on the etiological and pathophysiological characteristics of syndrome， and model evaluation primarily involves macroscopic manifestations and physicochemical indicators. This paper summarizes the current research status of animal models integrating disease and syndrome for seven common spleen and stomach diseases， including chronic gastritis and gastric precancerous lesions， gastroesophageal reflux disease， functional dyspepsia， inflammatory bowel disease， irritable bowel syndrome， functional constipation， and functional diarrhea. The modeling methods and characteristics of disease-syndrome combined animal models for each disease are analyzed. It is proposed that future research on disease-syndrome integration in spleen and stomach diseases should move toward syste-matic， precise， and integrative development， and that interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research approaches should be adopted to enhance the predictive value and application efficiency of disease-syndrome combined animal models.

ObjectiveTo systematically compare the effects of diverse electromagnetic stimulation protocols on hand function and activities of daily living (ADL) in stroke patients using network meta-analysis (NMA), and screen the optimal stimulation strategy for post-stroke hand dysfunction rehabilitation. MethodsNMA was performed in accordance with the PRISMA-NMA statement. Databases of CNKI, Wanfang data, VIP, CBM, PubMed, Web of Science and Embase were searched from database inception to April, 2026 for eligible randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing different electromagnetic stimulation protocols for post-stroke hand impairment. The Cochrane Risk of Bias tool and PEDro scale were used to assess methodological quality of included studies, while the GRADE system was adopted to grade evidence quality of primary outcomes of Fugl-Meyer Assessment-Upper Extremities (FMA-UE) and modified Barthel Index (MBI). After literature screening, data extraction and bias evaluation, RevMan 5.4 and Stata 17.0 were used for meta-analysis and NMA. ResultsA total of 22 RCT involving 17 electromagnetic stimulation protocols were finally included. The PEDro scores ranged from six to ten. The top five protocols for improving FMA-UE score were repetitive peripheral magnetic stimulation (rPMS) + repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), intermittent theta-burst stimulation (iTBS) + rPMS, iTBS + transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) and contralaterally controlled functional electrical stimulation (CCFES). tDCS was the most effective on MBI, followed by TEAS and iTBS+rPMS. Evidence quality for FMA-UE and MBI was moderate. Funnel plots suggested low risk of publication bias, and consistency tests verified good coherence between direct and indirect comparisons in network models. ConclusionElectromagnetic stimulation significantly facilitates upper limb and hand functional recovery, and improves ADL in stroke patients. The combined central-peripheral magnetic stimulation protocol may be the most effective on motor rehabilitation, whereas tDCS on ADL.

Aim To investigate the mechanism of ac-tion of Qingre Zhixue granules in the treatment of IgA vasculitic nephritis(IgAVN)based on network phar-macology and animal experiments.Methods The ac-tive ingredients and targets of Qingre Zhixue granules were screened out by TCMSP database.The disease targets of IgAVN were retrieved by Disgenet,Gene-cards OMIM and TTD databases.The intersection tar-gets were obtained by WeChat online database,and the information was imported into Cytoscope 3.7.1 soft-ware and STRING analysis platform to construct a drug-active component-therapeutic target network.Based on the core targets,GO and KEGG pathway enrichment a-nalysis was performed through the Metascape database to select key targets and core active components.The results of network pharmacology were verified by ani-mal experiments.The animal model of IgAVN was con-structed by the combination of disease and syndrome.The urine red blood cells and 24-hour urine protein of IgAVN model rats after intervention of Qingre Zhixue granules were detected.HE staining and IgA immuno-fluorescence deposition of renal tissue were observed.Western blot and qRT-PCR were used to detect the ex-pression of core targets in renal tissue.Results Net-work pharmacology showed that 109 active ingredients,402 drug targets,1 285 disease targets and 113 inter-section targets were obtained.The core targets screened by protein interaction and network topology a-nalysis were IL6,TNF,VEGFA,etc.The core drug ingredients were quercetin,paeoniflorin,luteolin,kaempferol and baicalein.A total of 2 545 gene func-tions were enriched by GO,and 164 gene pathways were enriched by KEGG.Qingre Zhixue granules could treat IgAVN by regulating TNF signaling pathway,MAPK signaling pathway,IL-17 signaling pathway,HIF-1 signaling pathway,Toll receptor signaling path-way,NF-κB signaling pathway and apoptosis.Animal experiments showed that compared with the blank group,the urine red blood cells and 24-hour urine pro-tein quantification in the model group increased(P＜0.05);the expression of serum IL-6,TNF-α and VEGF-α increased(P＜0.05).HE staining showed glomerular mesangial proliferation,capillary lumen ste-nosis,accompanied by a small amount of inflammatory cell infiltration,glomerular IgA immunofluorescence deposition;the expression of TNF-α,p-p65,p-p38 protein and TNF-α mRNA in renal tissue increased(P＜0.05).After the intervention of Qingre Zhixue gran-ules,urine red blood cells and 24-hour urine protein decreased(P＜0.05).The changes of renal HE stai-ning were improved and glomerular IgA deposition was reduced.TNF-α,p-p65,p-p38 protein and TNF-αmRNA in renal tissue decreased(P＜0.05).Conclu-sions The active ingredients such as quercetin,peony glycoside and luteolin Qingre Zhixue granules regulate TNF signaling pathway,MAPK signaling pathway,IL-17 signaling pathway and reduce IL-6,TNF-α and VEGF-α in the treatment of IgAVN.

Objective To investigate the association between the TyG index,its modified variants,and the risk of developing colorectal cancer(CRC).Methods This study included a total of 93,177 participants from the 2006 Kailuan Group health examination cohort.Participants were categorized into four quartiles(Q1-Q4)according to their TyG and modified TyG indices.Follow-up began at the baseline examination,with incident CRC as the primary outcome.Participants were censored at the time of CRC diagnosis,death,or the end of the study,whichever occurred first.The dose-response relationship between TyG and its modified indices and the risk of CRC was evalu-ated using restricted cubic splines(RCS)in conjunction with Cox proportional hazards regression models,yielding hazard ratios(HRs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs).To compare the strength of associations between TyG and its modified versions(TyG-BMI,TyG-WC,TyG-WHR,TyG-WHtR,TyG-WWI)and CRC risk,HRs for CRC per one standard deviation increase in each index were calculated and compared.Results Both the TyG index and its modified variants demonstrated a significant dose-response relationship with the risk of CRC incidence.Specifically,for the TyG index,each 1-standard deviation(SD)increase was associated with a 1.17-fold(95%CI:1.09～1.27)higher risk of CRC.Compared with the first quartile(Q1),the third quartile(Q3)and fourth quartile(Q4)exhibited a 1.25-fold(95%CI:1.01～1.55)and 1.26-fold(95%CI:1.01～1.57)increased risk,respectively.For TyG-BMI,each 1-SD increase was linked to a 1.20-fold(95%CI:1.07～1.35)elevated CRC risk.Compared with Q1,Q3 and Q4 showed a 1.32-fold(95%CI:1.06～1.64)and 1.51-fold(95%CI:1.21～1.88)increase,respectively.Regarding TyG-WC,each 1-SD increment was associated with a 1.22-fold(95%CI:1.13～1.32)higher CRC risk,with Q3 and Q4 showing a 1.35-fold(95%CI:1.08～1.70)and 1.56-fold(95%CI:1.24～1.96)increased risk compared to Q1.For TyG-WHtR,each 1-SD increase was associated with a 1.24-fold(95%CI:1.08-1.42)higher CRC risk.Compared with Q1,Q2,Q3,and Q4 demonstrated a 1.31-fold(95%CI:1.03～1.66),1.55-fold(95%CI:1.23～1.95),and 1.60-fold(95%CI:1.27～2.02)increase,respectively.In the case of TyG-WHR,each 1-SD increase was associated with a 1.19-fold(95%CI:1.10～1.29)higher CRC risk,with Q4 showing a 1.42-fold(95%CI:1.14～1.77)increased risk compared to Q1.Finally,for TyG-WWI,each 1-SD increase was associated with a 1.22-fold(95%CI:1.13～1.32)elevated CRC risk,with both Q3 and Q4 showing a 1.58-fold increase(Q3:95%CI:1.26～1.98;Q4:95%CI:1.25～1.99).Stratified analyses by sex and age consistently revealed significant associations between the TyG index and its modified variants and CRC risk.Furthermore,these indices were independently associated with the incidence of both colon cancer and rectal cancer.Conclusions(1)Elevated levels of the TyG index and its modified variants are independent risk factors for CRC.(2)Both the TyG index and its modified forms demonstrate a significant dose-response association with the incidence of CRC.(3)Among the modified TyG indices,TyG-WWI,TyG-WHtR,TyG-BMI,TyG-WC,and TyG-WHR showed stronger correlations with CRC risk compared to the original TyG index.

Objective:To investigate the correlation between postoperative spinal sagittal parameters and reinforced vertebral recompression fractures in patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCFs) who have undergone percutaneous kyphoplasty (PKP).Methods:Data on patients with OVCFs treated with PKP at the Department of Orthopaedics, Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University, from August 2020 to August 2024, were collected. Among these, 31 patients who underwent single-segment PKP experienced postoperative reinforced vertebral recompression fractures (recompression fracture group), comprising 8 males and 23 females, with a mean age of 73.74±8.76 years, a body mass index (BMI) of 23.83±1.87 kg/m 2, and a bone mineral density T-value of -2.29±0.55. The remission rate of the visual analogue scale (VAS) after surgery was 80.14%±4.86%, with a mean volume of bone cement used at 5.37±0.69 ml. The surgical segments involved included T 5 (1 case), T 8 (1 case), T 10 (1 case), T 11 (4 cases), T 12 (9 cases), L 1 (7 cases), L 2 (4 cases), L 3 (2 cases), and L 4 (2 cases). Following a 1∶1 matching principle, 31 patients whose vertebrae did not experience reinforced recompression fractures during the same period (non-recompression fracture group) were included. This group also comprised 8 males and 23 females, with a mean age of 74.88±8.31 years, a BMI of 23.15±2.04 kg/m 2, a bone mineral density T-value of -2.76±0.64, and a VAS remission rate of 79.75%±5.01%. The mean volume of bone cement used in this group was 5.41±0.72 ml. The surgical segments involved included T 8 (1 case), T 10 (1 case), T 11 (4 cases), T 12 (8 cases), L 1 (7 cases), L 2 (5 cases), L 3 (2 cases), L 4 (2 cases), and L 5 (1 case). There were no statistically significant differences in the aforementioned indicators between the two patient groups ( P>0.05). A comparison of the postoperative spinal sagittal parameters between the two groups was conducted, focusing on the local kyphosis angle (LKA), lumbar lordosis (LL), thoracic kyphosis (TK), pelvic incidence (PI), pelvic tilt (PT), sacral slope (SS), and the lumbar-pelvic matching value (PI-LL). Indicators that exhibited statistically significant differences were included in the binary logistic regression analysis to evaluate the impact of spinal sagittal parameters following PKP on the recompression of the reinforced vertebral. Results:The time to reinforced vertebral recompression fractures after PKP ranged from 35 to 184 d, with a median of 69 d. The TK in the recompression fracture group (46.56°±7.02°) was significantly greater than that in the non-recompression fracture group (41.95°±5.76°). Additionally, the LKA, PI and SS were all smaller in the recompression fracture group (9.84°±2.13°, 41.36°±4.27°, 22.69°±5.53°, respectively) compared to the non-recompression fracture group (12.37°±2.64°, 48.09°±6.33°, 28.41°±7.64°), with all differences being statistically significant ( P<0.05). However, no significant differences were observed between the LL, PT, and PI-LL values ( P>0.05). TK, LKA, PI, and SS were included in the binary logistic regression analysis, which indicated that TK [ OR=1.533, 95% CI(1.47, 1.59)] after PKP was positively correlated with the occurrence of reinforced vertebral recompression fractures. Conversely, LKA [ OR=0.882, 95% CI(0.80, 0.96)], PI [ OR=0.815, 95% CI(0.71, 0.91)], and SS [ OR=0.833, 95% CI(0.73, 0.93)] were negatively correlated. Conclusions:The incidence of reinforced vertebral recompression fractures following PKP is associated with spinal sagittal parameters, including TK, LKA, PI, and SS. Specifically, a larger TK and smaller values of LKA, PI, and SS are correlated with an elevated risk of reinforced vertebral recompression fractures.

Objective To evaluate the diagnostic performance of the minimum-cost-path-based CT angiography-derived fractional flow reserve(MCP-FFR)and the deep learning-driven CT angiography-derived fractional flow reserve(DeepCL-FFR),and to particularly explore the potential value of the DeepCL algorithm in improving diagnostic accuracy within the"gray zone."Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 151 coronary vessels from 109 patients with coronary artery disease,who were hospitalized at the General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army between January 2020 and June 2021.Pearson correlation and Bland-Altman plots were employed to assess the correlation and agreement of the two CT-FFR methods with invasive FFR.A CT-FFR range of 0.70-0.80 was defined as the diagnostic"gray zone."The accuracy,sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,and negative predictive value for detecting hemodynamic abnormalities were calculated and analyzed.The DeLong test was used to compare the areas under the receiver operating characteristic curves(AUC)between the two CT-FFR calculation methods.Results Both CT-FFR methods exhibited a positive correlation with invasive FFR(MCP-FFR:r=0.75,P＜0.001;DeepCL-FFR:r=0.86,P＜0.001)and showed good agreement(MCP-FFR:mean difference=0.010,P=0.351;DeepCL-FFR:mean difference=-0.003,P=0.772).Both DeepCL-FFR(AUC 0.97,95％CI 0.94-0.99)and MCP-FFR(AUC 0.92,95％CI 0.88-0.97)demonstrated favorable diagnostic performance for detecting hemodynamic abnormalities(P=0.122).In the"gray zone"for hemodynamic abnormality,the diagnostic accuracy of MCP-FFR was 68.8％,whereas DeepCL-FFR increased it to 89.7％.DeepCL-FFR also exhibited superior diagnostic performance(AUC 0.89,95％CI 0.73-0.99)within the"gray zone,"which was significantly higher than that of MCP-FFR(AUC 0.71,95％CI 0.54-0.87)(P＜0.001).Conclusions The deep learning-driven coronary centerline extraction algorithm,DeepCL,demonstrates superior diagnostic performance in CT-FFR for detecting hemodynamic abnormalities,particularly by significantly improving diagnostic accuracy in the"gray zone."

Conclusions:The incidence of reinforced vertebral recompression fractures following PKP is associated with spinal sagittal parameters, including TK, LKA, PI, and SS. Specifically, a larger TK and smaller values of LKA, PI, and SS are correlated with an elevated risk of reinforced vertebral recompression fractures.

Objective To investigate the effect of early closed reduction and percutaneous Kirschner wire pinning for Gartland type Ⅱ and Ⅲ pediatric supracondylar humerus fractures.Methods Clinical data of 123 children with Gartland type Ⅱ and Ⅲsupracondylar humerus fractures admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the time from injury to operation,they were divided into early group(≤ 24 h)and delayed group(＞24 h).The perioperative conditions,postoperative complications,fracture healing,and elbow joint functional recovery were compared between the two groups.Results Compared to the delayed group,the early group had less operation time[(22.9±11.3)min vs.(40.3±17.5)min,t=-6.116,P=0.000],less number of intraoperative fluoroscopy[(10.6±4.5)times vs.(17.4±5.5)times,t=-7.471,P=0.000],shorter hospital stay[(3.3±1.0)d vs.(4.2±1.3)d,t=-3.866,P=0.000],and less hospitalization cost[(10 555.0±971.2)yuan vs.(10 972.4±938.9)yuan,t=-2.345,P=0.021].The rate of anatomical reduction in the early group was higher than that in the delayed group[79.0％(60/76)vs.59.6％(28/47),x2=5.354,P=0.021].No serious complications such as vascular and nerve injury,compartment syndrome,ischemic myosclerosis,myositis ossificans,or cubitus varus and valgus occurred in both group after surgery.The incidences of tension blisters[6.6％(5/76)vs.23.4％(11/47),x2=7.265,P=0.007],plaster loosening[22.4％(17/76)vs.40.4％(19/47),x2=4.574,P=0.032],and pin tract infection[2.6％(2/76)vs.14.9％(7/47),x2=4.757,P=0.029]in the early group were lower than those in the delayed group.The fracture union time,and the time to start active and full weight-bearing activities in the early group were earlier than those in the delayed group(P＜0.05).The Flynn elbow joint scores at 3 and 6 months after surgery in the early group were better than those in the delayed group(Z=-3.469,P=0.001;Z=-2.961,P=0.003).Conclusion Early closed reduction and percutaneous Kirschner wire pinning is effective in the treatment of pediatric supracondylar humerus fractures,which can shorten the operation time and hospital stay,reduce the hospitalization cost,lower the incidence of complications,and restore elbow joint function in early stage.

Aim To investigate the mechanism of ac-tion of Qingre Zhixue granules in the treatment of IgA vasculitic nephritis(IgAVN)based on network phar-macology and animal experiments.Methods The ac-tive ingredients and targets of Qingre Zhixue granules were screened out by TCMSP database.The disease targets of IgAVN were retrieved by Disgenet,Gene-cards OMIM and TTD databases.The intersection tar-gets were obtained by WeChat online database,and the information was imported into Cytoscope 3.7.1 soft-ware and STRING analysis platform to construct a drug-active component-therapeutic target network.Based on the core targets,GO and KEGG pathway enrichment a-nalysis was performed through the Metascape database to select key targets and core active components.The results of network pharmacology were verified by ani-mal experiments.The animal model of IgAVN was con-structed by the combination of disease and syndrome.The urine red blood cells and 24-hour urine protein of IgAVN model rats after intervention of Qingre Zhixue granules were detected.HE staining and IgA immuno-fluorescence deposition of renal tissue were observed.Western blot and qRT-PCR were used to detect the ex-pression of core targets in renal tissue.Results Net-work pharmacology showed that 109 active ingredients,402 drug targets,1 285 disease targets and 113 inter-section targets were obtained.The core targets screened by protein interaction and network topology a-nalysis were IL6,TNF,VEGFA,etc.The core drug ingredients were quercetin,paeoniflorin,luteolin,kaempferol and baicalein.A total of 2 545 gene func-tions were enriched by GO,and 164 gene pathways were enriched by KEGG.Qingre Zhixue granules could treat IgAVN by regulating TNF signaling pathway,MAPK signaling pathway,IL-17 signaling pathway,HIF-1 signaling pathway,Toll receptor signaling path-way,NF-κB signaling pathway and apoptosis.Animal experiments showed that compared with the blank group,the urine red blood cells and 24-hour urine pro-tein quantification in the model group increased(P＜0.05);the expression of serum IL-6,TNF-α and VEGF-α increased(P＜0.05).HE staining showed glomerular mesangial proliferation,capillary lumen ste-nosis,accompanied by a small amount of inflammatory cell infiltration,glomerular IgA immunofluorescence deposition;the expression of TNF-α,p-p65,p-p38 protein and TNF-α mRNA in renal tissue increased(P＜0.05).After the intervention of Qingre Zhixue gran-ules,urine red blood cells and 24-hour urine protein decreased(P＜0.05).The changes of renal HE stai-ning were improved and glomerular IgA deposition was reduced.TNF-α,p-p65,p-p38 protein and TNF-αmRNA in renal tissue decreased(P＜0.05).Conclu-sions The active ingredients such as quercetin,peony glycoside and luteolin Qingre Zhixue granules regulate TNF signaling pathway,MAPK signaling pathway,IL-17 signaling pathway and reduce IL-6,TNF-α and VEGF-α in the treatment of IgAVN.
