Objective:
To investigate the trends in incidence and mortality of thyroid cancer in cancer registration areas of Zhengzhou City, Henan Province from 2016 to 2021, so as to provide evidence for developing targeted thyroid cancer prevention and treatment strategies.
Methods:
Data on incidence and mortality of thyroid cancer with qualified registration quality were collected from cancer registration offices in Zhengzhou City. Crude incidence and crude mortality were calculated. The Chinese population-standardized incidence and world population-standardized incidence were calculated using the standard age structure from the Fifth National Population Census in 2 000 and Segi's world standard population structure, respectively. The average annual percentage change (AAPC) was used to analyze the trends in the incidence and mortality of thyroid cancer in Zhengzhou City from 2016 to 2021 across different gender, age, and urban-rural area.
Results:
In 2021, the crude incidence, Chinese population-standardized incidence and world population-standardized incidence of thyroid cancer in Zhengzhou City were 42.55/105, 37.43/105, and 32.56/105, respectively. The crude mortality, Chinese population-standardized mortality and world population-standardized mortality were 1.07/105, 0.77/105, and 0.71/105, respectively. The Chinese population-standardized incidence and mortality in females were 2.64 times and 2.83 times those in males, respectively; those in urban areas were 2.25 times and 1.51 times those in rural areas, respectively. The crude incidence peaked in the group aged 55-<60 years at 92.52/105. From 2016 to 2021, the crude incidence and Chinese population-standardized incidence of thyroid cancer showed an upward trend (AAPC=21.797%, 22.725%, both P<0.05), with trends consistent across different genders and urban-rural areas with the total population. The crude incidence showed upward trends in the groups aged 20-<30 years, 30-<40 years, 40-<50 years, 50-<60 years, and 60-<70 years (AAPC=17.237%, 31.026%, 21.289%, 23.010%, and 11.752%, all P<0.05). From 2016 to 2021, the Chinese population-standardized mortality of thyroid cancer showed an upward trend (AAPC=15.196%, P<0.05), while the trend in crude mortality was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The crude mortality (AAPC=21.078%, 25.669%) and Chinese population-standardized mortality (AAPC=24.122%, 28.865%) in females and rural areas showed upward trends (all P<0.05).
Conclusions
From 2016 to 2021, the Chinese population-standardized incidence and mortality of thyroid cancer in cancer registration areas of Zhengzhou City showed an upward trend. Females, urban residents, and middle-aged and young populations are key groups for thyroid cancer prevention and control.

Objective:To investigate the level of rehabilitation exercise adherence in patients undergoing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction within 6 months post-surgery, analyze its trajectory, and provide a reference for clinical nursing interventions. Methods:Using a convenience sampling method, 150 patients who underwent arthroscopic ACL reconstruction at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from June 2022 to August 2023 were selected. Rehabilitation exercise adherence was assessed monthly from postoperative 1 month (M 1) to 6 months (M 6) using the Orthopedic Functional Exercise Adherence Scale. A latent class growth model was employed to analyze adherence trajectory categories, and Logistic regression was used to identify influencing factors for different adherence trajectories. Results:A total of 144 patients completed follow-up (follow-up rate was 96.00%). Exercise adherence scores gradually declined over the 6 months post-surgery, with scores of (50.30±5.39), (45.92±3.85), (39.48±5.27), (35.83±6.19), (31.85±7.59), and (29.88±7.88) from M 1 to M 6, respectively. The difference in scores across time points was statistically significant ( F=85.467, P<0.01). Three potential categories were identified through the latent class growth model: the moderate-high level rapid decline group ( n=65, 45.14%), the moderate-low level stable group ( n=32, 22.22%), and the moderate-low level slow decline group ( n=47, 32.64%). Logistic regression analysis revealed that gender and age were significant factors influencing adherence trajectory categories ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Dynamic declines in rehabilitation exercise adherence are common among ACL reconstruction patients, with varying degrees of decline. Gender and age may influence adherence trajectories, suggesting that targeted management strategies could be implemented in clinical practice.

Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2021;37(4):332-335
Under the background of efficiency medical reform, the authors introduced the nursing efficiency management system of a large public hospital, which was divided into two dimensions: nursing resource allocation efficiency and nursing service efficiency. The specific four measures included the establishment of multi-campus unified management organization structure based on nursing management committee, nursing performance reform based on structured big data information platform, the construction of nurse-led patient whole process management model and the accelerated rehabilitation nursing practice from surgery to the whole hospital, so as to provide reference for the nursing efficiency management of large general public hospitals under the medical reform.
