ObjectiveTo analyze the characteristics and trends of injury-related deaths among the registered residents in Yuyao City, Zhejiang Province from 2014 to 2023, and to provide a scientific basis for the formulation of targeted injury prevention and control strategies. MethodsData on injury-related deaths in Yuyao City from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2023 were collected from the cause-of-death surveillance module of the chronic disease monitoring and management system of Zhejiang Province. Indicators including constituent ratio, crude mortality rate (CMR), standardized mortality rate (SMR), premature death probability, potential years of life lost (PYLL), average years of life lost (AYLL), and potential years of life lost rate (PYLLR) were calculated. The average annual percentage change (AAPC) was used to analyze the trends in injury mortality over the past 10-year period. ResultsFrom 2014 to 2023, a total of 6 625 injury-related deaths were reported in Yuyao City, accounting for 10.65% of all deaths and ranking fourth among all causes. The CMR was 79.34/100 000 and showed an increasing trend (AAPC=4.396%, t=2.875, P=0.021), while the SMR was 38.99/100 000 with no significant trend (AAPC=-0.585%, t=-0.451, P=0.664). The SMR of females (37.74/100 000) was lower than that of males (40.87/100 000) (χ2=12.468, P<0.001). The top 5 causes of injury-related death were falls, traffic accidents, drowning, suicide, and accidental suffocation. Over the 10-year period, the SMRs for traffic accidents, drowning, and suicide showed downward trends (AAPC=-5.381%, t=-3.428, P=0.009; AAPC=-8.061%, t=-6.924, P<0.001; AAPC=-6.919%, t=-4.039, P=0.004, respectively), while the SMRs for falls and accidental suffocation showed no significant trends (AAPC=3.417%, t=1.767, P=0.115; AAPC=2.228%, t=0.803, P=0.445). Injury mortality increased with age for males, females, and the total population (all P<0.05). The leading causes of injury-related death were drowning among residents aged 0‒<15 years, traffic accidents among those aged 15‒<45 and 45‒<65 years, and falls among those aged 65‒<85 and 85‒110 years. The total PYLL due to injury was 58 708.00 person-years, the AYLL was 21.23 years, and the PYLLR was 7.36‰. ConclusionFrom 2014 to 2023, the crude mortality rate due to injuries in Yuyao City remained at a relatively high level, posing a serious threat to residents’ health and well-being. Falls, traffic accidents, drowning, suicide, and accidental suffocation are key targets for injury prevention and control work.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2025;37(9):955-958
Objective:
To investigate the status of overweight and obesity among primary and middle school students in Yuyao City, Zhejiang Province, so as to provide the basis for formulating weight management strategies for students.
Methods:
A census was conducted to investigate 72 primary schools and 23 middle schools students in Yuyao City in 2024, and data such as gender and age were collected through questionnaire surveys. Height and weight were measured to calculate the body mass index (BMI). Based on the BMI thresholds for different gender and age groups, overweight and obesity were determined.
Results:
Totally 75 082 individuals were surveyed, including 40 435 boys and 34 647 girls. Among them, 55 172 were primary school students and 19 910 were middle school students. A total of 8 677 overweight and 7 042 obese individuals were identified, with detection rates of 11.56% and 9.38%, respectively. The detection rates of overweight and obesity in boys were higher than in girls (14.01% vs. 8.69%, 11.58% vs. 6.81%, both P<0.05). The detection rate of obesity among students in rural schools was higher than students in urban schools (10.12% vs. 8.18%, P<0.05). The detection rates of overweight and obesity of students with non-local household registration were higher than students with local household registration (12.04% vs. 10.77%, 10.44% vs. 7.64%, both P<0.05). The detection rate of overweight showed an upward trend with age (P<0.05), while no significant age-related trend was observed for obesity (P>0.05).
Conclusions
The detection rates of overweight and obesity were notably high among primary and middle school students in Yuyao City. Boys, students in rural schools, students with non-local household registration, and older students are the key population.

Spine fracture and dislocation are common traumatic spinal conditions that often require surgical intervention due to compromised spinal stability. Surgical approaches include anterior, posterior, and combined anterior-posterior spinal procedures. According to the specific surgical requirements, patients may be placed in the prone position or repositioned between prone and supine positions during surgery. Intraoperative repositioning has become an essential step in patient positioning. However, during repositioning, patients with spinal fracture and dislocation are at increased risk for complications such as hemodynamic instability, nerve injury, and pressure injuries to the skin and soft tissue. Notably, due to the instability of the spinal cord, even minor manipulations can further exacerbate the damage, potentially leading to severe outcomes like paraplegia. Although the current clinical guidelines provide instructive recommendations for standard position, there remains no specific protocols for intraoperative repositioning in patients with spine fracture and dislocation. With a concern for the lack of clinical studies on positioning techniques, risk prevention, and operational norms for special patients, no applicable guidelines or standards are available. A consensus was required to provide clinical reference, meet the requirements of surgical treatment, and minimize the safety risks of patients caused by improper placement of positions. Professional Committee of Operating Room Nursing of Shaanxi Nursing Association organized experts in nursing management and operating room nursing from major hospitals across China to formulate Expert consensus on intraoperative repositioning for patients with spinal fracture and dislocation ( version 2025). The consensus provides 11 recommendations covering pre-repositioning preparation, intraoperative maneuvers, and post-repositioning observation, aiming to provide references for clinical standardization of the intraoperative repositioning process and protection of patients′ safety.

The new generation of artificial intelligence technology, represented by deep learning, has emerged as a crucial driving force in the advancement of new drug research and development. This article creatively proposes a workflow named"Molecular Factory"for the design and optimization of drug molecules based on artificial intelligence technology. This workflow integrates intelligent molecular generation models,high-performance molecular docking algorithms, and accurate protein-ligand binding affinity prediction methods. It has been integrated as a core module into DrugFlow,a one-stop drug design software platform, providing a comprehensive set of mature solutions for the discovery and optimization of lead compounds.Utilizing the"Molecular Factory"module,we conducted the research of second-generation inhibitors against Menin that can combat drug resistance.Through the integration of computational and experimental approaches,we rapidly identified multiple promising compounds.Among them, compound RG-10 exhibited the IC50 values of 9.681 nmol/L,233.2 nmol/L,and 40.09 nmol/L against the wild-type Menin,M327I mutant, and T349M mutant, respectively.Compared to the positive reference molecule SNDX-5613,which has entered Phase Ⅱ clinical trials,RG-10 demonstrated significantly enhanced inhibitory activity against the M327I and T349M mutants. These findings fully demonstrate the unique advantages of the"Molecular Factory"technology in practical drug design and development scenarios. It can rapidly and efficiently generate high-quality active molecules targeting specific protein structures, holding significant value and profound implications for advancing new drug discovery.
