ObjectiveTaking Aurantii Fructus Immaturus juice（AFI）-processed Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma（AMR） as an example， this study aims to systematically compare the volatile and non-volatile components of AMR and its processed products， investigate the key differential components， evaluate their anti-inflammatory activities， and elucidate the synergistic mechanism of processing. MethodsThe chemical compositions of volatile and non-volatile components in AMR and AFI-processed AMR were systematically characterized using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry（GC-MS） and ultra-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time-of-flight mass spectrometry（UPLC-Q-TOF-MS）， with relative mass fractions and response values determined separately. Volatile components were identified through searches in the National Institute of Standards and Technology（NIST）17 database， comparison with retention index（RI） and fragmentation pattern matching. Non-volatile components were identified by searching Waters Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM） spectral library， in conjunction with PubChem and MassBank， characteristic fragmentation patterns and response values were also used to support identification. Differential components were screened using principal component analysis（PCA）， orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis（OPLS-DA）， with variable importance in the projection（VIP） value >1. Components with high log₂fold change（FC） among major differential groups were selected as those exhibiting significant changes before and after processing. The anti-inflammatory activity of the differential compounds was evaluated by assessing their effects on nitric oxide（NO） production in a lipopolysaccharide（LPS）-induced RAW264.7 macrophage model. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay（ELISA） was used to detect the effects of the differential components on tumor necrosis factor（TNF）-α， interleukin（IL）-1β， IL-6， and monocyte chemotactic protein（MCP）-1 levels， and immunofluorescence（IF） was employed to assess their effects on nuclear transcription factor（NF）-κB p65 translocation， thereby elucidating the underlying molecular mechanisms. ResultsA total of 36 compounds were identified in the volatile components of AMR and AFI-processed AMR， among which， sesquiterpenes and monoterpenes were significantly increased after processing. In the non-volatile components， 36 compounds were identified， and the main differential components were flavonoids， sesquiterpenoids， and triterpenoids. Flavonoids were the primary differential components distinguishing AMR from its processed products， representing compounds directly introduced during processing. Five compounds， including atractylenolide Ⅲ， tangeritin， nobiletin， hesperidin and narirutin， were selected as representatives of three classes based on their most prominent differential expression among different compound types for subsequent anti-inflammatory activity studies. The results showed that 100 μmol·L^-1 tangerine and narirutin could significantly inhibit LPS-induced NO production（P<0.01） in a concentration-dependent manner. Tangeritin was able to significantly inhibit the levels of TNF-α and MCP-1 secreted by RAW264.7（P<0.05）， while narirutin significantly inhibited the levels of TNF-α， IL-1β， MCP-1 and IL-6（P<0.01）. IF revealed that both tangeritin and narirutin significantly blocked the translocation of NF-κB p65 from the cytoplasm to the nucleus. ConclusionAFI-processed AMR significantly alters the chemical composition profile of AMR， and the newly introduced flavonoid components during processing may be key to its enhanced anti-inflammatory effects.

"Correspondence between prescription and syndrome" is the foundation of the objectification of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment， and the objectification of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis is the key to the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine. Combining modern theories and technological means to explore objective indicators or biomarkers of "correspondence between prescription and syndrome" can help clarify quantitative indicators of syndromes. There is a characteristic microbial population in the intestine that is related to syndromes and prescription efficacy. Intestinal microbiota plays an important indicative and discriminative role in determining the formation and evolution of disease patterns and is also an important characterization and pathway of the therapeutic effect of prescriptions. Therefore， intestinal microbiota can serve as an important biological indicator for the objectification of "correspondence between prescription and syndrome"， and the research content related to "intestinal microbiota-syndrome" and "intestinal microbiota-prescription" is relatively mature. On this basis， the team proposed a research approach and method of "correspondence among intestinal microbiota， syndrome， and prescription"， exploring the biological mechanism of "correspondence between prescription and syndrome" from the perspective of intestinal microbiota. A complete analysis of the "intestinal microbiota-syndrome-prescription" data content of six traditional Chinese medicine diarrhea syndromes was conducted， and the results of intestinal dominant and characteristic microbiota for different syndromes of diarrhea and corresponding formula interventions were obtained. The correlation of key intestinal microbiota and metabolites with the interaction between different syndromes and formula interventions was studied， and the microbiological mechanism of "treating the same disease with different methods" for diarrhea was explored. The research ideas and results provide the possibility for the establishment and application of the theory of "correspondence among intestinal microbiota， syndrome， and prescription" and also provide a research paradigm for other diseases in traditional Chinese medicine. "Correspondence among intestinal microbiota， syndrome， and prescription" is conducive to revealing the micro-mechanisms of the formation and evolution of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes and the efficacy of prescriptions. It establishes an objective diagnosis and treatment system for traditional Chinese medicine syndromes based on intestinal microbiota， providing new methods and ideas for the objective diagnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes and promoting the modernization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the use of drugs and the development of pharmaceutical care in the tight medical alliance （shorted for “medical alliance”） of Wanzhou District of Chongqing， and provide reference for the further construction of the medical alliance. METHODS A survey form was designed and distributed to 21 constituent units （5 leading units and 16 member units） of 5 medical alliances in Wanzhou District of Chongqing. The statistical analysis was conducted in aspects of basic drug allocation and use， pharmaceutical personnel team construction， the development of pharmaceutical care， and rational use of antibiotics. RESULTS Among the 21 constituent units， 4 leading units and 14 member units achieved the target for the proportion of essential drug procurement varieties， with a total compliance rate of 85.71%； 4 leading units and 13 member units achieved the target for the proportion of national essential drug allocation and usage amount， with a total compliance rate of 80.95%. The proportions of personnel with doctoral degrees in the 5 leading units and 16 member units were 1.71% and 0 respectively， and the proportions of personnel with senior professional titles were 8.56% and 1.63%， respectively. A total of 5 pharmacy or pharmaceutical combined outpatient clinics were set up in the 21 medical alliance units， and 5 clinical pharmacy information service platforms were established； all 5 leading units were able to regularly carry out clinical pharmacy projects， while only 4 out of 16 member units had conducted medical order review and evaluation. The proportions of irrational use of antibiotics in outpatient prescriptions and inpatient medical records of the 16 member units （4.81%， 5.21%） were significantly higher than those of the 5 leading units （2.80%， 4.00%）. CONCLUSIONS The allocation and usage of national essential drugs in 21 constituent units from Wanzhou District of Chongqing are both in good standing. However， the data on the allocation of pharmaceutical professionals and the number， qualifications， and job titles of clinical pharmacists in member units are generally low. Moreover， the pharmaceutical service projects and service quality in member units need to be further improved.

Objective: To investigate the situation and influencing factors of school bullying experienced by primary and middle school students, so as to provide the basis for formulating school bullying intervention measures and promoting students' physical and mental health development. Methods: All the counties (cities, districts) in Zhejiang Province were stratified to urban and suburban areas, primary, junior high and senior high school students were selected using a stratified cluster sampling method. Basic information, lifestyle and school bullying were collected through questionnaire surveys. Factors affecting school bullying experienced by primary and middle school students were analyzed using a multivariable logistic regression model. Results: Totally 137 846 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 97.17%. There were 72 526 males (52.61%) and 65 320 females (47.39%). There were 47 561 primary school students (34.50%), 47 701 junior high school students (34.61%) and 42 584 senior high school students (30.89%). A total of 3 987 students suffered from school bullying, accounting for 2.89%. The proportions of being maliciously teased, being intentionally excluded from group activities/isolated, being teased about physical defects or appearance, being hit/kicked/pushed/shoved/locked in a room, being threatened, and being extorted for money were 2.04%, 1.18%, 1.11%, 0.86%, 0.84% and 0.83%, respectively. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that the students who were males (OR=1.122, 95%CI: 1.048-1.202), lived in suburban areas (OR=1.322, 95%CI: 1.233-1.418), lived in areas with medium (OR=1.086, 95%CI: 1.006-1.173) or underdeveloped (OR=1.298, 95%CI: 1.191-1.415) economic level, had higher academic levels (junior high school, OR=1.380, 95%CI: 1.270-1.499; senior high school, OR=1.210, 95%CI: 1.083-1.351), lived on campus (OR=1.489, 95%CI: 1.372-1.616), engaged in fights (OR=6.029, 95%CI: 5.585-6.509), attempted to smoke (OR=1.320, 95%CI: 1.128-1.545), drank (OR=1.735, 95%CI: 1.575-1.912), were scolded and beaten by parents (OR=1.972, 95%CI: 1.822-2.135) and were obese (OR=1.240, 95%CI: 1.132-1.360) were more likely to experience school bullying. Conclusion The harm of school bullying to the physical and mental health of primary and middle school students should be taken seriously, and active policy measures should be adopted to strengthen intervention.

ObjectiveTo establish an educational intervention framework of electronic picture books for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) based on Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model, and observe the effect on social function. MethodsElectronic picture books were designed using CPS model, including the program of reading, interactive animation design and associated artistic activities. From March to June, 2023, 24 children with mild to moderate ASD were recruited from Maanshan Institute of Special Education, and randomly assigned into experimental group 1 (CPS-based cognitive picture book interventions, n = 8), experimental group 2 (CPS-based social picture book interventions, n = 8) and control group (Bloom's Taxonomy-based picture book interventions, n = 8), and received the interventions for four weeks, with a total of twelve times. They were assessed with speech, social, perceptual and health behavior using Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist (ATEC) before and after treatment, and the differences were calculated. ResultsThere was a significant difference among the groups in the social and perceptual scores differences (F > 4.344, P < 0.05) and a near-significant difference in the health behaviour score difference (F = 2.921, P = 0.076). Post Hoc test showed that the differences in social scores were higher in both experimental groups than in the control group (P < 0.05); the difference in perceptual scores was significantly higher in experimental group 1 than in experimental group 2 (P < 0.01), but there was no significant difference with the control group (P > 0.05); the difference in health behavior scores was higher in experimental group 2 than in the control (P < 0.05), and the difference in experimental group 1 was slightly higher than in the control group (P = 0.072). ConclusionElectronic picture book interventions based on the CPS model may be more effective in enhancing social, perceptual and health behavior in children with ASD, but there may be differences among models.

Direct compression is an ideal method for tablet preparation, but it requires the powder's high functional properties. The functional properties of the powder during compression directly affect the quality of the tablet. 15 parameters such as Py, FES-8KN, FES-12KN, FES-16KN, CR-8KN, CR-12KN, and CR-16KN were used as the characteristic variables in this paper. Unsupervised learning methods like principal component analysis, cluster analysis, and factor analysis were applied to analyze and classify the compression behavior data of 36 traditional Chinese medicine powders. The results showed that both different dimensionality reduction classification methods could effectively differentiate the compression behavior characteristics of 36 traditional Chinese medicine compound powders. The hierarchical cluster analysis results showed a better agreement with the actual compression phenomena of the powders, where group 1 was high elasticity and low compressibility, group 2 was easily compressed and hard to break, group 3 was excellent compressibility and compactibility. This study is expected to provide references and ideas for predicting the behavior of traditional Chinese medicine powders and the screening of tablet formulations.

Objective: To explore the relationship between beverage dependence and sleep quality among college students, providing empirical evidence for improving their sleep quality. Methods: From December 2024 to January 2025, a convenience sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey among 3 974 college students from four universities in Anhui Province. The Beverage Addiction Scale for College Students (BASCS) was used to assess beverage dependence, and the Self rating Scale of Sleep(SRSS) was used to evaluate sleep quality. A multivariate Logistic regression model was employed to analyze the relationship between beverage dependence and sleep quality, and a restricted cubic spline model was used to examine the dose response relationship between the two. Results: The positive rate of beverage dependence symptoms among college students was 7.6%, with positive rates of 9.6%, 13.8%, and 7.4% for the withdrawal symptoms, health effects, and dependence symptoms dimensions, respectively. The detection rate of sleep disorders was 23.6%. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that after adjusting for covariates such as grade, gender, and body mass index, compared with the no beverage dependence group, students with positive beverage dependence symptoms had a higher risk of sleep disorders( OR =3.71, 95% CI =2.87-4.80, P <0.01). The OR (95% CI ) for sleep disorders among students with positive symptoms in the withdrawal symptoms, health effects, and dependence symptoms dimensions were 2.80(2.22-3.53), 2.38(1.95-2.91), and 2.45(1.89-3.18)(all P <0.01). Further analysis using a restricted cubic spline model revealed that the overall beverage dependence score and its three dimensional scores were approximately linearly related to the risk of sleep disorders among college students (all nonlinear P >0.05). Conclusions Beverage dependence is associated with sleep quality among college students. Schools should take multiple approaches, such as health education on beverage awareness, to improve students sleep quality.

ObjectiveTo explore the regulation of hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal （HPG） axis by modified Erxian decoction in rats with perimenopausal syndrome （PMS） and to further analyze the expression of proteins related to the silent information regulator 1 （SIRT1）/hypothalamic kisspeptin （Kisspeptin）/gonadotropin-releasing hormone （GnRH） signaling pathway in the arcuate nucleus region （ARC） of the hypothalamus， so as to reveal the potential target of action and molecular biological mechanism of modified Erxian decoction for the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome. MethodsAn animal model was established via the incomplete castration method， with successful modeling confirmed by the exfoliated cervical cell smear method. The 48 rats were divided into six groups based on the randomization principle after successful modeling， including a sham operation group， a model group， an estradiol valerate group （0.09 mg∙kg^-1∙d^-1）， high-， medium-， and low-dose modified Erxian decoction groups （7.614， 3.807，1.903 5 g∙kg^-1∙d^-1）， with 8 rats in each group. The estradiol valerate group and the high-， medium- and low-dose modified Erxian decoction groups were continuously administered by gavage for 28 days， and the indicators were detected 24 hours after the last administration. Body weights and uterine indices were measured. The pathological changes of the uterus were observed by hematoxylin-eosin （HE） staining. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA） was performed to measure the levels of estradiol （E₂）， follicle-stimulating hormone （FSH）， luteinizing hormone （LH）， and gonadotropin-releasing hormone （GnRH）. Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction （Real-time PCR） and Western blot were used to determine the expression levels of SIRT1， Kisspeptin， kisspeptin receptor （GPR54）， and GnRH in the ARC region of the hypothalamus and gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor （GnRH-R） in pituitary. ResultsCompared with the sham operation group， rats in the model group had a significantly increased body weight （P0.01）， reduced wet weight and index of uterus （P0.01）， endometrial thinning or atrophy， glandular atrophy， and a decreasing number of glands. Additionally， serum levels of E₂ and the expression of SIRT1 in the ARC region of the hypothalamus significantly decreased （P0.01）. Serum levels of FSH， LH， and GnRH， the expression of Kisspeptin， GPR54， and GnRH in the ARC region of the hypothalamus， and GnRH-R in pituitary significantly increased （P0.01）. Compared with the model group， the estradiol valerate group and the high-， medium-dose modified Erxian decoction groups had significantly reduced body weight， serum levels of FSH， LH， and GnRH， and expression of Kisspeptin， GPR54， and GnRH in the ARC region of the hypothalamus and GnRH-R in pituitary （P0.05， P0.01） and significantly increased wet weight and index of uterus， serum level of E₂， and expression of SIRT1 in the ARC region of the hypothalamus （P0.05， P0.01）. In addition， they showed thickened endometrium， increased number of endometrial glands， and improved glandular atrophy. ConclusionModified Erxian decoction regulates the function of the HPG axis through multi-targets， and its mechanism of action may be related to the up-regulation of the expression of SIRT1 in the ARC region of the hypothalamus， the inhibition of the over-activation of the Kisspeptin/GnRH signaling pathway， the regulation of the expression of GnRH-R in the pituitary， the restoration of secretion balance of gonadotropins， and the elevation of the estrogen level. This study provides an experimental basis for the interpretation of the scientific connotation of modified Erxian decoction in the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome and a theoretical reference for the development of a novel therapeutic strategy based on the SIRT1/Kisspeptin/GnRH pathway.

Objective: To explore the protective effect of mild moxibustion on the ovary of mice with premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) and its mechanism. Methods: SPF female ICR mice with normal estrus cycle were divided into blank group, model group, moxibustion group and moxibustion + Compound C group according to the random number table method, with 20 mice in each group. The mice in the blank group were given normal saline daily. The mice in the other groups were gavaged with Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycosides[75 mg/(kg·d)] for 14 consecutive days for modeling. An hour later, the mice in the moxibustion group were treated with mild moxibustion every day, and bilateral "shenshu" and "guanyuan" "zhongwan" were alternately applied every other day, and each point was treated with mild moxibustion for 10 minutes each day. Thirty minutes after gavaging Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycosides, the mice in the moxibustion + Compound C group were given intraperitoneal injection of Compound C (10 mg/kg); an hour later, mild moxibustion was applied same as the moxibustion group. The mild moxibustion was applied once a day for 14 consecutive days. The protective effect of moxibustion on ovary was evaluated by ovarian index, rate of estrus cycle disorder, ovarian tissue morphology, the number of follicles at all levels and serum sex hormone levels. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and immunohistochemistry were used to detect the mRNA and protein expression of adenosine 5′-monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator 1α (PGC-1α) in ovarian tissue. Serum sex hormones oxidative stress markers, adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels in ovarian granulosa cells were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, luciferase method and chemifluorescence method, respectively. Results: Compared with the model group, the ovarian index of the moxibustion group increased (P<0.05), the rate of estrous cycle disorder decreased (P<0.05), the number of atretic follicles decreased (P<0.05), and the number of primordial follicles, primary follicles, secondary follicles and antral follicles all increased (P<0.05). The levels of serum anti-Müllerian hormone and estrogen increased (P<0.05), while the level of follicle-stimulating hormone decreased (P<0.05); the expressions of protein and mRNA of AMPK and PGC-1α were upregulated (P<0.05); the activity of serum superoxide dismutase increased, the content of malondialdehyde decreased, and the ATP level of granulosa cells increased, while the mean fluorescence intensity of ROS decreased (P<0.05). However, when Compound C was given before moxibustion intervention, the protective effect on the ovary was significantly reduced, as shown by the reduction of ovarian index (P<0.05), the rate of estrus cycle disorder increased (P <0.05), the number of atretic follicles increased (P<0.05), and the number of primordial follicles, primary follicles, secondary follicles and antral follicles decreased (P<0.05). Conclusion Moxibustion can protect ovarian function in mice by promoting the activation of AMPK and PGC-1α signaling, inhibiting oxidative stress response and regulating hormone levels.

Objective To understand the equity and influencing factors of maternal health service utilization in Changning District, Shanghai. Methods A convenience sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey among mothers of children aged 1 to 1.5 years old who received health services from the child health care clinics and EPI clinics of 10 community health service centers in Changning District, Shanghai from March to April 2022. Count data was expressed by frequency and percentage. Chi-square analysis, binomial logistic regression analysis, and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used to analyze fairness-related factors. Rate difference, rate ratio and concentration index were used to represent fairness. Results A total of 696 subjects were investigated, with an average age of (33.35±4.76) years. There were statistically significant differences in service utilization among women with different household registrations only in early pregnancy registration (χ²=11.026, P=0.001) and postpartum visits (χ²=4.989, P=0.026). Women with a career showed differently in folic acid supplement (χ²=6.247, P=0.012), early pregnancy registration (χ²=12.989, P=0.002), physical examination in 42 days postpartum (χ²=4.446, P=0.035) and postpartum contraception (χ²=4.061, P=0.044), and the differences were statistically significant. Women with different monthly family income had a statistically significant difference in pre-pregnancy examination (χ²=8.977, P=0.030) and postpartum visit (χ²=16.114, P=0.001). There was a statistically significant difference between women with maternity insurance or not in the early pregnancy registration (χ²=10.576, P=0.001) and physical examination in 42 days postpartum (χ²=8.166, P=0.004). The results of the multivariate analysis showed that occupation (OR=2.616, 95% CI: 1.142-5.990) and maternity insurance (OR=4.490, 95% CI: 1.992~10.120) affected the utilization of service in early pregnancy registration. The monthly household income (OR=0.278, 95% CI: 0.124-0.625) affected the utilization of services in postpartum visit. At the same time, the monthly household income (10,000-19,999: OR=0.286, 95% CI: 0.090-0.907; ≥30,000: OR=0.180, 95% CI: 0.041-0.801) also affected the utilization of service in physical examination in 42 days postpartum. Conclusion The equity of maternal health care service utilization overall is good in central area in Shanghai, but there is still room for improvement. It is necessary to strengthen community mobilization, propagandize maternal health services, and expand the coverage of maternity insurance to improve the equity of maternal health service utilization and provide equal access to maternity health services.
