OBJECTIVE To analyze the risk factors of neonatal pneumonia(NP)and construct the risk prediction model for NP.METHODS A total of 60 cases of neonatal pneumonia admitted to neonatology department of Chan-gzhou Children's Hospital from Dec.2022 to Dec.2023 were selected in the study group, and another 60 healthy neonates during the same period were randomly selected as the healthy group. The risk factors of neonatal pneu-monia were summarized by logistic regression analysis, the prediction model was established, the discrimination of the model was evaluated by receiver's operating characteristic(ROC)curves, and the correction capability was as-sessed by Hosmer-Lemeshow test.RESULTS Birth 1 min Apgar score<7 points(OR=5.930,95%CI:2.877-12.222,P<0.001)and amniotic fluid pollution(OR=4.175,95%CI:1.251-13.935,P=0.021)were the risk factors for neonatal pneumonia, while prophylactic antimicrobial drug application(OR=0.471,95%CI:0.226-0.982,P=0.044)was a protective factor(P<0.05).Based on the results of Logistic regression analysis, the formula of the relevant risk prediction model was established as logit(P)=20.780×1 min Apgar score-23.429 × amniotic fluid pollution+3.024 × prophylactic use of antibiotics+1.056.The results of ROC curves analysis showed that AUC of the risk prediction model was 0.774(95%CI:0.691-0.857),suggesting that the risk pre-diction model had a good discrimination, and Hosmer-Lemeshow x2=7.028,P=0.941,and there was good cali-bration degree of the model.CONCLUSION Birth 1 min Apgar score<7 points and amniotic fluid pollution are in-dependent risk factors of NP,while prophylactic antimicrobial drug application is a protective factor, and the risk prediction model for the development of NP based on logistic regression analysis had good predictive efficiency and accuracy.

Aiming at the ECG performance indicators in the YY 0885-2013 "Medical electrical equipment Part 2: Particular requirements for the safety including essential performance of ambulatory electrocardiographic systems", the traditional detection methods are time-consuming and the test results are greatly affected by human factors. In this paper, an automated detection method is proposed. A set of automatic detection software for ECG performance is designed and developed based on a single-channel ECG recorder, and an automated detection system is set up in combination with standard testing equipment. And then, the MSA tool is used to analyze the repeatability and stability of the detection system, and the results show that the detection system is acceptable, and it can improve detection efficiency.

OBJECTIVETo prepare a pH fluorescence probe based on styrylcyanine dyes for live cell imaging.
METHODSThe Probe 1 was prepared by reaction of 4-pyridinecarboxaldehyde with 1,1,2-trimethylbenz[e]indole. The influence of pH on the fluorescent properties was examined, and the cell viability was examined using cell counting kit-8. The Probe 1 was used as a pH fluorescence probe in living cell.
RESULTSProbe 1 emitted green fluorescence under neutral and basic conditions but orange fluorescence under acid condition. Probe 1 selectively stained the cytoplasmic regions of living cells without significantly affecting the cell viability.
CONCLUSIONThe pH-sensitive fluorescent probe prepared based on styrylcyanine possesses good ability of cell membrane permeation for live cell fluorescent imaging.

Objective To evaluate the effect and safety of combined therapy of paclitaxel and gemcitabine for anthracycine(ANT)-resistant advanced breast cancer(ABC).MethodsFrom May 2000 to Aug 2004,twenty six patients with ANT-resistant ABC were treated with this combined regime. The median chemotherapy cycles were 2.5(range from 2 to 3 cycles).ResultsOf 26 patients, there were 3 complete(11.5%) and 11 partial(42.3%) responses for an overall response rate of 53.8%. Eight cases remained stable (30.8%) and 4 progressive (15.4%). The median survival time was 18 months. The median time to progression was 7 months. The main toxic reaction included bone marrow depression, liver function damage, alopecia, mucositis and peripheral neurotoxicity. ConclusionsCombined medication of gemcitabine and paclitaxel is effective in therapy of ANT-resistant advanced breast cancer with acceptable toxicity.
