Objective:To explore the clinical application value of ultrasound detection of endometrial blood flow perfusion in evaluating the pregnancy outcomes of frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) cycles. Methods:A case-control study of 226 patients underwent preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) in the Department of Reproductive Medicine of Chengdu Women's and Children's Central Hospital was conducted. Patients enrolled from December 2021 to August 2024 underwent three-dimensional ultrasound endometrial receptivity testing on the day before FET. According to the pregnancy outcomes, they were divided into clinical pregnancy group ( n=155) and non-pregnancy group ( n=71). The general characteristics and endometrial receptivity parameters were compared between the two groups. Binary logistic regression was used to analyze the factors affecting pregnancy. Results:There was no significant difference in age, proportion of primary infertility, anti-Müllerian hormone, and antral follicle count between the two groups (all P>0.05). The duration of infertility in the clinical pregnancy group [(2.79±2.45) years] was significantly lower than that in the non-pregnancy group [(3.44±1.68) years, P=0.046], the basal luteinizing hormone (LH) level in clinical pregnancy group [(4.37±3.02) U/L] was higher than that in the non-pregnancy group [(3.59±2.02) U/L, P=0.047]. On the day before embryo transfer, the single-plane endometrial blood flow branch in the pregnancy group (4.83±1.57) was more than that in the non-pregnancy group (3.44±1.51), the difference was statistically significant ( P=0.001). The clinical pregnancy group had significantly different endometrial morphology types A [5.2% (8/155)], B [25.8% (40/155)], and C [69.0% (107/155)] compared with the non-pregnancy group [16.9% (12/71), 33.8% (24/71), 49.3% (35/71), P=0.003], respectively, the number of peristalsis waves in the clinical pregnancy group [1(0, 2)] was less than that in the non-pregnancy group [1(0, 4), P=0.046]. There were no significant differences in endometrial thickness, peristaltic wave classification, endometrial volume, endometrial and subendometrial blood flow pulse index/resistance index between the two groups (all P>0.05). Binary logistic regression analysis showed that the endometrial blood flow branch, endometrial peristalsis and basal LH level were independent factors affecting the pregnancy outcome of patients underwent PGT during FET cycle ( OR=1.855, 95% CI: 1.478-2.327, P=0.001; OR=0.813, 95% CI: 0.667-0.990, P=0.040; OR=1.163, 95% CI: 1.000-1.351, P=0.049). Among them, the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of endometrial blood flow branches for the prediction of PGT-FET pregnancy outcome was 0.725, P=0.001. Conclusion:Endometrial blood flow branch, which represents the intensity of blood perfusion, has a good clinical value in evaluating the pregnancy outcome during FET cycle.

Objective:To analyze and predict the epidemiological characteristics of hepatitis B mortality status among Chinese residents from 2006 to 2021 and 2022 to 2027, so as to provide a reference for hepatitis B prevention and control. Methods:The dataset of hepatitis B death cases from 2006 to 2021 published by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention was collected. The age was standardized using the population structure in 2000 as the standard population. The crude mortality rate (CMR) and age-standardized mortality rate (ASMR) were calculated for hepatitis B. The epidemiological distribution characteristics of hepatitis B deaths in terms of region, gender, age, and time were analyzed. The Joinpoint regression analysis model was used to analyze the changing trend. The gray model was used to predict the CMR and ASMR of hepatitis B from 2022 to 2027.Results:A total of 77 722 cases died of hepatitis B from 2006 to 2021, with an average CMR and ASMR of 2.69/100 000 and 2.00/100 000, respectively. The ASMR of male and female showed an overall downward trend, with an average annual percentage change (AAPC) of -5.4 (95% CI: -8.1 to -2.7, P<0.001) and -5.7 (95% CI: -8.4 to -3.0, P<0.001), respectively. The ASMR of urban and rural areas showed an overall downward trend, with an AAPC of -5.0 (95% CI: -7.7 to -2.2, P=0.001) and -5.7 (95% CI: -9.0 to -2.4, P=0.001), respectively. The average ASMR of hepatitis B from 2006 to 2021 in western, central, and eastern China was 2.86/100,000, 2.05/100,000 and 1.42/100,000, respectively, and the overall trend was downward. The gray model prediction results showed that the CMR of hepatitis B from 2022 to 2027 among Chinese residents was 2.36/100 000, 2.29/100 000, 2.22/100 000, 2.16/100 000, 2.10/100 000 and 2.03/100 000, respectively, while the ASMR was 1.37/100 000, 1.30/100 000, 1.23/100 000, 1.16/100 000, 1.10/100 000 and 1.04/100 000, respectively. Conclusions:The CMR and ASMR of hepatitis B have a declining trend year by year among Chinese residents, and further progress has been made in the prevention and treatment. The key focus and emphasis of future work should be to strengthen the screening and prevention of hepatitis B in rural areas, western regions, male demographics, targeted preventive and control measure formulations, and the lowering of mortality rates.

Objective:To investigate the prevalence, comorbidity patterns, and associated factors of cardiometabolic multimorbidity (CMM) in China. Methods:From 2012 to 2015, a total of 34 994 residents aged ≥35 years were enrolled using a stratified multistage random sampling method across 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities in China. Data were collected through questionnaires, covering demographic characteristics, behavioral and lifestyle factors, and self-reported history of cardiometabolic diseases. CMM was defined as the coexistence of two or more cardiometabolic diseases in the same individual. Association rule analysis using the Apriori algorithm from the arules package was employed to identify strong CMM patterns. Multivariable logistic regression was employed to explore factors associated with CMM.Results:The mean age of the participants was 55.6 years. Among them, 15 926 were male (45.51%). The prevalence of cardiometabolic multimorbidity (CMM) was 11.25% (3 937/34 994). A total of 35 distinct CMM combinations (each with a frequency ≥10) were identified. The most prevalent dyad, triad, and tetrad comorbidity patterns were hypertension+hyperlipidemia (1 036 cases), hypertension+hyperlipidemia+diabetes (352 cases), and hypertension+stroke+hyperlipidemia+diabetes (54 cases), respectively. Nine strong CMM patterns were identified using the Apriori association rule algorithm. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that older age (≥70 years: OR=17.39,95% CI 13.92-21.71, P<0.01), junior high school education ( OR=1.31, 95% CI 1.17-1.48, P<0.01), senior high school or above education ( OR=1.45, 95% CI 1.27-1.65, P<0.01), retirement ( OR=3.09, 95% CI 2.76-3.46, P<0.01), unemployment or being laid-off ( OR=1.16, 95% CI 1.06-1.28, P<0.01), a family history of cardiometabolic disease ( OR=4.37, 95% CI 4.04-4.72, P<0.01), regular smoking ( OR=1.38, 95% CI 1.24-1.53, P<0.05), and occasional smoking ( OR=1.21, 95% CI 1.00-1.49, P<0.01) were significantly associated with an increased risk of CMM. Conclusion:The prevalence of cardiometabolic multimorbidity in China is relatively high, with the most common comorbidity patterns involving combinations of hypertension and hyperlipidemia, often accompanied by diabetes and stroke. Older age, retirement status, smoking, and a family history of cardiovascular disease are associated with an increased risk of both single and multiple cardiometabolic conditions. Greater attention should be paid to individuals with a single cardiometabolic disorder due to their elevated risk of developing multimorbidity.

ObjectiveTo understand the awareness of knowledge about chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and influencing factors among residents in Yangpu District, Shanghai. MethodsWe used cluster random sampling method to conduct face-to-face questionnaire surveys on selected household residents in 12 streets of Yangpu District. The survey questions included their understanding of COPD name, lung function test, and COPD related knowledge. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of awareness rate. ResultsA total of 1 440 people were ultimately included in the analysis, and the awareness rates of COPD name, lung function test, and COPD awareness were 19.93%, 18.61%, and 14.95%, respectively. Among the people who knew the name of COPD, awareness rate of shortness of breath or dyspnea was the highest (84.12%) in the three main symptoms of COPD. Among the main risk factors of COPD, second-hand smoke(86.78%)and smoking (85.82%) were the highest. The main ways to obtain knowledge of COPD names were through television (12.60%) and the internet (11.97%). The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that men were significantly higher than women in the awareness of COPD name, lung function test, and COPD knowledge, with the OR values of (OR=1.39, 95%CI:1.08‒1.79), (OR=1.47,95%CI:1.12‒1.92) and (OR=1.37,95%CI:1.02‒1.84), respectively. The awareness rate of COPD names and lung function tests was the highest among people aged ≥ 65 years old, while the awareness rate of COPD knowledge was the highest among people aged 35‒50 years old. The awareness rate of COPD names was the highest among people with college education or above, civil servants, teachers, and medical staff, people with an annual household income of 100 000‒200 000 yuan. ConclusionThe overall awareness rate of COPD names, lung function tests, and COPD related knowledge among residents in Yangpu District is still at a low level. We should intensify the promotion and education of COPD among key groups such as women, young people, and those with low income, in order to improve the overall awareness rate of COPD among the population.

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 2022;43(6):840-844
【Objective】 In recent years, granulocyte colony stimulating growth factor (G-CSF) has been proved to be expressed in the posterior capsule of the lens of posterior capsular opacification (PCO), but its specific role remains unclear. The purpose of this study was to explore whether G-CSF plays a role in PCO. 【Methods】 First, human lens epithelial cells (HLEC-B3) were treated with different concentration of recombinant G-CSF protein and screened for effective appropriate concentration. Then, Western blotting was used to detect the effects of extracellular matrix (ECM) synthesis and epithelial mesenchymal transdifferentiation (EMT) marker genes after G-CSF treatment on HLEC-B3 cells. Finally, the effects of G-CSF treatment on the migration and invasion of HLEC-B3 cells were detected by scratch experiment and Transwell test. 【Results】 G-CSF at 80 μg/L could promote the proliferation of HLEC-B3 cells. After G-CSF was treated for 48 h, the expressions of EMT and ECM synthesis marker genes in HLEC-B3 cells were significantly upregulated with time. G-CSF could significantly promote HLEC-B3 cell invasion after 48 h induction. Similarly, G-CSF could also significantly induce cell migration compared to the CTRL group. 【Conclusion】 G-CSF can promote the proliferation, migration and invasion of HLEC-B3 cells, as well as EMT and ECM synthesis, which might be involved in the occurrence of PCO. Inhibiting the expression of G-CSF may be a new strategy for PCO prevention.
