Objective To investigate the relationship between exposure to foodborne antibiotics and gut microbiota,as well as its impact on irritable bowel syndrome(IBS).Methods A total of 100 IBS patients(IBS group)and 100 healthy controls(control group)were enrolled in this case-control study.Antibiotic ex-posure was assessed by serum detection,and gut microbiota composition was analyzed by 16S rRNA gene se-quencing technology.Binary Logistic regression model and chi-square test were used for statistical analysis to explore the relationship between antibiotic exposure and IBS,and to analyze the differences in gut microbiota.Results The antibiotic exposure rate of IBS group was significantly higher than that of control group(59％vs.36％,P=0.016),and the exposure to β-lactam antibiotics was significantly different between the two groups(P=0.047).In addition,the composition of gut microbiota in the IBS group was significantly different from that in the control group,and the abundance of Firmicutes was increased(P＜0.001),while the abun-dance of Lactobacillus,Bifidobacterium and Faecalibacterium was decreased(P＜0.001).Conclusion Food-borne antibiotic exposure may be one of the risk factors for IBS,and antibiotic exposure may affect the occur-rence and development of IBS by changing the composition of gut microbiota.Foodborne antibiotic exposure may be a risk factor for inducing IBS and could affect the disease process by altering the structure of the gut microbiota.Therefore,enhancing the regulation of foodborne antibiotic use and raising public awareness about the importance of minimizing foodborne antibiotic exposure can effectively prevent and reduce the incidence of IBS.

Twenty-two items of national criteria of acupuncture-moxibustion operation standardization have been issued by the People’s Republic of China. To understand the situation of use of these criteria, the authors analyzed and studied the situation of application of acupuncture-moxibustion criteria in related papers, textbooks and monographs to provide a basis for further establishing and revising the criteria. The results show that people are building awareness of use of acupuncture-moxibustion criteria, and the criteria have gradually been used in more and more papers, textbooks and works.

Objective The aim of this study was to describe nursing student-patient relationship in Yunnan province,and study its influencing factors and practice effectiveness.Methods The multi-phase stratified cluster random sampling method was adopted to investigate 483 internship nursing students in two first class hospitals in Yunnan province.Results Among 483 nursing students,379 (78.5％) students belonged to facilitative relationship,101 (20.9％) students belonged to authoritative relationship,and 3 (0.6％) students belonged to mechanistic relationship.Sociodemographic data and factors related to three type of relationship showed no statistical significance among three types of nursing students.But student's personal and professional growth,student's increased confidence and self-esteem demonstrated statistical significance among three types of nursing students.In student's personal and professional growth,students of authoritative relationship got the lowest score (3.96±0.78) compared with students of mechanistic relationship and facilitative relationship [(4.17±0.29),(4.17±0.54)],F=4.82,P ＜ 0.01.In student's increased confidence and self-esteem,no significant difference was seen.Conclusions Nursing students' perceptions of student-patient relationship are mostly facilitative.And students' personal and professional growth and confidence and self-esteem increased obviously through internship for students with facilitative student-patient relationship.

Objective Primary progressive aphasia (PPA) is a rare neurodegenerative disease barely reported in China. Methods Complete neuropsychological testing on memory, cognitive function and aphasia was carried out. The brain function and structure was also examined with MRI and PET imaging analysis. Results The characteristics of clinical manifestation, neuropsychological testing and brain imaging analysis were reported. Except anomic aphasia, no other abnormal neuropsychological testing as well as sign of the nervous system was found. However, a significant atrophy and decrease in glucose metabolism of the left temporal lobe was observed.Conclusion PPA is clinically characterized by progressive anomic aphasia without impairment of the cognitive function and other abnormal sign of central nervous system. Atrophy of the frontal and temporal lobe in the dominant hemisphere provides strong support for the diagnosis.
