Objective To investigate the effect of impression method with silicone impression material for full denture of edentulous jaw. Methods A total of 53 patients with edentulous jaw underwent full denture restoration in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected.Patients were randomly treated with impression method with red paste combined alginate or silicone impression material for full denture impression according to the order of treatment.A return visit was made and the clinical effect satisfaction questionnaire was filled in after the full denture was worn and used for one week.Logistic regression was used to analyze the interaction between each factor and different impression methods. Results Of the 53 patients,28 cases were treated with silicone impression material and 25 cases were freated with red paste combined alginate impression material. The satisfaction of silicone impression material was significantly higher than that of red paste combined alginate impression material(96.43%vs.72.00%,x2=4.390,P=0.036),and there was no interaction between the use of different impression methods and gender, maxillary and mandible, classification on of edentulous jaws(P>0.05).Conclusion For patients with edentulous jaw, impression method of silicone impression material can be selected to make impression for full denture,so as to improve the effect of full denture restoration in elderly patients with edentulous jaw.

Objective To conduct the biomechanical analysis on a new power-assisted knee orthosis. Methods A self-force source power-assisted knee orthosis was used, and four motions(level walking, sitting and standing, ascending and descending stairs)were measured before and after wearing the orthosis.A musculoskeletal multibody dynamic model was adopted to calculate the joint angles and pressures at the knee, patellofemoral and hip joints. The effects of power-assisted knee orthosis on biomechanical changes of lower limbs were investigated by comparing the joint angles and pressures before and after wearing this orthosis. Results The orthosis would reduce the knee angles during level walking,as well as the knee pressures during sitting and standing on the wearing side.Wearing the orthosis did not significantly affect the joint angles during sitting and standing;however,it led to a significant decrease in joint pressures at both bilateral knee joints and patellofemoral joints.During ascending and descending stairs, the knee angle change on the wearing side was opposite to that on the non-wearing side. The increase of the peak knee angle was(14.3±3.6)%on the non-wearing side during ascending stairs. Conclusions The power-assisted knee orthosis can offer a conservative treatment for individuals with various knee diseases by reducing joint angles and pressures in daily motions.

Objective:To examine the validity and reliability of the Chinese version of the Transgender Atti-tudes and Beliefs Scale(TABS)in the general adult population. Methods:A total of 1 656 residents aged≥18 years were recruited by convenient sampling method, and were equally divided into sample 1 and sample 2 accord-ing to age group. The total sample was used for item analysis and internal consistency reliability test.Sample 1 was used for exploratory factor analysis,Sample 2 was used for confirmatory factor analysis, and 60 residents were se-lected for retesting at a 2-week interval. Results:The TABS Chinese version included a total of 26 items, with the content validity index(I-CVI)of each item ranging from 0.83 to 1.00,and the content validity index(S-CVI)of the scale being 0.98.Exploratory factor analysis extracted 3 common factors, namely interpersonal comfort, gender beliefs, and human value, with a cumulative total variance of 57.13%.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the scale fit was acceptable(x2/df=2.95,RMSEA=0.05,GFI=0.92,AGFI=0.90).The Cronbach α coefficients of the total score of the scale and the scores of the 3 factors were 0.95,0.95,0.88 and 0.86.The retest reliabilities were 0.88,0.78,0.65 and 0.91.Conclusion:The Chinese version of the Transgender Attitudes and Beliefs Scale(TABS)has good validity and reliability in assessing general adults'attitudes toward the transgender community.
4.Analysis on working principle and common fault of air-oxygen mixing and air path control of ventilator
China Medical Equipment 2025;22(1):158-161
Ventilator is one of important medical equipment for the treatment of patients with critically ill. With the continuous development of medical technology, the structural performance of ventilators tends to be more precision, and the daily maintenance and repair of equipment become more important. Air-oxygen mixing is an important module of gas supply of ventilator, which structure includes access pathway of air, access pathway of oxygen and a pressurization section of air-oxygen mixing. The function of air path control is controlling air flow volume and pressure, which is basis of ensuring safe ventilation, and which includes both flow volume control system and safety valve system. Combined with the actually clinical application of ventilator, the working principles of air-oxygen mixing and air path control of the ventilator were analyzed and the maintenance methods of common faults were summarized from the key components of maintenance and repair,so as to improve the clinical service capability of ventilator equipment and the management level of hospital.

Morita therapy has been bom for more than 100 years.Inpatient Morita therapy is highly oper-able and easy to master. It can improve many refractory neuroses through four-stage treatment. But more neuroses are treated in outpatient clinics, and Morita therapy cannot be used in hospitalized patients. Therefore, the formula-tion of expert opinions on outpatient operations is particularly important. This paper is based on domestic and for-eign references, and after many discussions by domestic Morita therapy experts, and then drew up the first version of the expert opinions on operation of outpatient Morita therapy.Meanwhile the operation rule of Morita therapy in three stages of outpatient treatment was formulated:in the etiological analysis stage, under the theoretical guidance of Morita therapy, analyze the pathogenic factors,to improve treatment compliance and reduce resistance;during the operating stage, guide patients to engage in constructive and meaningful actions, realizing the achievement of letting nature take its course principle;in the cultivating character and enriching life stage, pay attention to positive infor-mation,expanding the scope and content of actions, improving the ability to adapt to complex life, and preventing recurrence caused by insufficient abilities. It will lay a foundation for the promotion of Morita therapy in domestic outpatient clinics,so that more patients with neurosis and other psychological diseases could receive characteristic Morita therapy treatment in outpatient clinics.

Journal of Environmental and Occupational Medicine 2024;41(10):1083-1086
The health effects associated with environmental pollutants remain one of the major public health issues at present. The research method focusing on the population as the research subjects is limited by reliable cohorts, and the research method targeting individual molecules cannot fully reflect the biological health effects under environmental pollutant stress. Using high-throughput multi-omics, machine learning, and epigenetic detection to conduct targeted research and joint analysis on cells, organoids, organs, animals, and humans in different biological dimensions will help provide data support for the study of potential targets and biological effects of environmental pollutants, providing a theoretical basis for the risk assessment and safety evaluation of environmental pollutants.
