Objective:This study based on comprehensive bioinformatics technology aimed to investigate the pathogenesis of ferroptosis in IgA nephropathy(IgAN)from an immunological perspective, and to identify the key genes and functional pathways. Methods:Differentially expressed ferroptosis-related genes(DE-FRGs)were identified from GSE93798 and analyzed by Kyoto Ency-clopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)and Gene Ontology(GO).STRING and Cytoscape were used to construct a protein-protein interaction(PPI)network.Degree and MCODE algorithm were run.Combining LASSO regression,SVM-RFE and PLS-DA machine learning to construct the optimal feature selection hub gene.Cibersort and ssGESA algorithms were used to assess the immune infiltra-tion,as well as to explore the relationship between hub genes and immune infiltration.Single cell RNA sequence(scRNA-seq)data was used to analyze the location of hub genes in IgAN cell populations.Gene Set Enrichment Analysis(GSEA)was performed on hub genes. The HPA database was used to obtain the position of the specific protein of the hub genes, and the DsigDB database was used to predict the target drug. The GSE37460,GSE116626 and GSE73953 were treated as validation sets and diagnostic effectiveness evalua-tion.Collecting IgAN and healthy kidney tissue for immunohistochemical testing of hub genes expression. Results:This study identi-fied 94 DE-FRGs and 3 hub genes(JJUN,EGR1 and DDR2).KEGG and GO analysis indicated that the DE-FRGs were mainly con-centrated in pathways of ferroptosis, reactive oxygen species, responsing to oxidative stress and metal particles, mitochondrion, and transcriptional regulatory complex.GESA analysis involved in amino acid and fatty acid metabolism. The analysis of immune cell infil-tration in IgAN revealed an increased ratio of naive B cells, mast cells, and CD4+T cells.Differential analysis of immune function re-vealed that mechanisms such as chemokine receptor signaling pathways, human leukocyte antigen signaling pathways, and inflamma-tion promotion were more active in IgAN.Furthermore, the correlation was observed between immune infiltration and hub genes.ScRNA-seq analysis demonstrated that hub genes were localized in monocytes, macrophages, poximal convoluted tubule cells,princi-pal cells, and smooth muscle cells.Validations set analysis suggested that JUN and SIRT1 had a diagnostic value. The HPA database analysis showed that JUN was mainly located in the nucleus, while EGR1 was located in the membrane and cytoplasm. The 2 278 po-tential drugs for the treatment of IgAN were predicted. Finally, the results of immunohistochemistry and bioinformatics analysis were consistent. Conclusion:Ferroptosis may be associated with immune cell infiltration and immune related function during the occur-rence and development of IgAN.

Objective:To help flying personnel prevent flight fatigue risk and ensure flight safety by investigating the fatigue and countermeasures of flying personnel during long-haul flight. Methods:Air Force flying personnel were randomly selected from a cluster. They were divided into 21-30, 31-40 and 41-50 years group according to age. According to the post, they were divided into fighter pilots, bomber pilots, air navigation commander/air communication controller/aerial machinist and other groups. The self-made "questionnaire of aeromedical support to long-haul flight safety" was used to collect the fatigue condition and countermeasures of flying personnel in long-haul flight for the comparison among age and post groups. Results:Out of 156 questionnaires, 150 were valid, with a response rate of 96.2%. For the comparisons among age groups, the significant differences were observed in 3 fatigue symptoms such as drowsiness/sleepiness, discomfort on neck, waist, and shoulders, and degraded reaction ( χ2=12.62, 11.77, 12.23, P=0.002, 0.003, 0.002), 2 fatigue countermeasures such as talking with teammates and engaging in physical activity ( χ2=6.37, 16.70, P=0.041,<0.001), and 4 measures of maintaining flight ability such as sleep management, comprehensive physical training, functional food intake and simulation training ( χ2=8.81, 11.48, 9.59, 7.32, P=0.012, 0.003, 0.008, 0.026). For the comparisons among post groups, the significant differences were observed in 3 fatigue symptoms as visual fatigue, drowsiness/sleepiness, and discomfort on neck, waist, and shoulders ( χ2=10.39, 17.89, 8.42, P=0.016, 0.001, 0.038), as well as in fatigue countermeasures chosen like taking in water or food ( χ2=19.06, P<0.001) and in improving flight ability chosen like relieving eye fatigue ( χ2=12.09, P=0.007). Conclusions:The age and post factors influence the fatigue conditions and countermeasures chosen in the flying personnel during long-haul flight. The targeted and comprehensive interventions are suggested.

Journal of Southern Medical University 2020;40(12):1810-1815
OBJECTIVE:
To investigate the intra- and inter-scanner reproducibility of quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) of cerebral subcortical nuclei in healthy adults.
METHODS:
QSM was performed in 21 healthy adults on two different 3.0T MR scanners, and the region of interest (ROI) method was used to measure the magnetic susceptibility value of the left subcortical nuclei (the head of the caudate, putamen, globus pallidus, thalamus, substantia nigra and red nucleus). The intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and Bland-Altman method were used to evaluate the inter-scanner and intra-scanner reliability.
RESULTS:
The ICCs of the susceptibility value ranged from 0.90 to 0.99 for all the subcortical gray nuclei except for the head of the caudate nucleus measured on the same MR scanner by the same observer. Bland-Altman analysis revealed that the points with susceptibility differences for all the subcortical gray nuclei except for substantia nigra located in the 95% CI of limits of agreement for the same MR scanner. The ICCs of the susceptibility value for the inter-scanner was 0.49 (0.08-0.75) for the head of the caudate nuleus, 0.80 (0.57-0.91) for the putamen, 0.77 (0.51-0.90) for the globus pallidus, 0.78 (0.54-0.91) for the thalamus, 0.80 (0.56-0.91) for the substantia nigra and 0.93 (0.83-0.97) for the red nucleus. The points with susceptibility difference (95.2%, 20/21) located in the 95% CI of limits of agreement for the putamen and the thalamus measured on two different MR scanners.
CONCLUSIONS
The intra-scanner reproducibility of QSM of the subcortical gray nuclei is superior to the inter-scanner reproducibility in healthy adults.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of compound Qianglizhenxian pill on epilepsy. Methods 94 patients with epilepsy were treated with compound Qianglizhenxian pill, and every course lasted three months. After treatment, checking patients' electroencephalogram again, evaluating the clinical effect according to degrees and numbers of attack. Results After 12 months of treatment, 90.43% of patients got an obvious improvement, while 6.38% for better, 3.19% for validity and no invalid. Conclusions There is a great improvement for patients with epilepsy after taking the medicine. The effective control rate is 92.62% with no toxication on blood system, liver and kidney.
