ObjectiveTo establish a high-performance liquid chromatography（HPLC） for the quantitative analysis of multiple components in Gegen Qinlian tablets， and to comprehensively evaluate the quality of samples from different manufacturers by integrating chemical pattern recognition and technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution（TOPSIS）， in order to provide a reference basis for quality evaluation and control of Gegen Qinlian tablets. MethodsHPLC was employed to determine the contents of 10 components in 28 batches of Gegen Qinlian tablets collected from 6 manufacturers， and taking the detection results as variables， SIMCA 14.1 and SPSS 26.0 were employed for cluster analysis（CA）， principal component analysis（PCA）， and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis（OPLS-DA） to identify key components affecting the quality. Then， TOPSIS analysis was employed to rank the quality of Gegen Qinlian tablets from the 6 manufacturers and establish a comprehensive quality evaluation method. ResultsA quantitative method for Gegen Qinlian tablets was established. After methodological validation， the method was found to be stable and reliable， and could be used for the quantitative analysis of this preparation. The contents of 3′-hydroxy puerarin， puerarin， 3′-methoxy puerarin， daidzein， coptisine hydrochloride， epiberberine， jatrorrhizine hydrochloride， berberine hydrochloride， palmatine hydrochloride and baicalin in 28 batches of samples were 3.58-7.35， 24.88-42.32， 4.20-9.36， 4.33-7.60， 2.52-6.44， 0.93-4.10， 0.58-3.05， 10.68-22.92， 0.82-4.82， 11.73-60.16 mg·g^-1， respectively. Among them， puerarin， berberine hydrochloride and baicalin all met the limit requirements for this preparation specified in the 2025 edition of the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China. CA and PCA clustered the 28 batches of samples into 5 categories， PCA extracted 2 principal components with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 90.588%， and OPLS-DA screened out 4 differential markers with variable importance in the projection（VIP） values>1.0， namely baicalin， 3′-hydroxy puerarin， coptisine hydrochloride and palmatine hydrochloride， which might be the main components affecting the quality of Gegen Qinlian tablets. TOPSIS analysis showed that the comprehensive score of each evaluation index（C_i） values of different manufacturers were different. Among them， the C_i of manufacturer B was ranked higher， indicating potentially superior quality， while the C_i of manufacturer A was ranked lower， suggesting potentially inferior quality. ConclusionThis study establishes a quantitative method for Gegen Qinlian tablets， and the content uniformity of the same manufacturer is good， while there are differences in the contents of active components among different manufacturers. Through the chemical pattern recognition analysis， it is found that the content differences of Gegen Qinlian tablets may be related to baicalin， 3′-hydroxy puerarin， coptisine hydrochloride and palmatine hydrochloride.

The Type III Secretion System (T3SS) serves as a pivotal virulence apparatus for numerous Gram-negative bacterial pathogens, enabling them to infect both animal and plant hosts. Functioning as a molecular syringe, the T3SS directly translocates bacterial effector proteins from the bacterial cytoplasm into the interior of eukaryotic host cells. These effectors are central weapons that precisely manipulate a wide spectrum of host cellular physiological processes, ranging from cytoskeletal dynamics to immune signaling, to establish a favorable niche for bacterial survival and proliferation. Among the diverse arsenal of T3SS effectors, the YopJ family constitutes a critical group of virulence factors. Members of this family are characterized by a conserved catalytic triad structure—a hallmark of the CE clan of cysteine proteases that has been evolutionarily repurposed to confer acetyltransferase activity. A defining and intriguing feature of these enzymes is their stringent dependence on a host-derived eukaryotic cofactor, inositol hexakisphosphate (IP₆), for allosteric activation. This requirement acts as a sophisticated molecular safeguard, ensuring enzymatic activity only within the appropriate host environment, thereby preventing detrimental effects on the bacterium itself. While seminal studies on individual members such as Yersinia’s YopJ and Salmonella’s AvrA have provided deep mechanistic insights, a systematic and integrative understanding of the structure-function relationships across the entire family remains fragmented. Key questions persist regarding how a conserved catalytic core has diverged to recognize distinct host substrates in different kingdoms of life. To address this gap, this article provides a systematic review of the YopJ family, focusing on three interconnected aspects: their structural features, their catalytic mechanism, and their divergent immunosuppressive strategies in animal versus plant hosts. By conducting a comparative analysis of the sequences and resolved three-dimensional structures of three representative members (e.g., HopZ1a, PopP2, AvrA), we elucidate regions of significant variation embedded within the conserved core catalytic architecture. These variable regions, often involving surface loops and substrate-binding interfaces, are crucial determinants of target specificity and functional specialization. The functional divergence of this effector family is most apparent when comparing their modes of action in different hosts. In animal hosts, YopJ-family effectors primarily sabotage innate immune signaling pathways. They achieve this by acetylating key serine and threonine residues within the activation loops of critical kinases in the MAPK and NF‑κB pathways. This post-translational modification blocks the phosphorylation and subsequent activation of these kinases, leading to potent suppression of inflammatory cytokine production. Conversely, in plant hosts, the strategy broadens to dismantle the two-tiered plant immune system. YopJ homologs target a more diverse set of substrates, including immune-associated receptor-like cytoplasmic kinases (RLCKs), microtubule networks via tubulin acetylation (which disrupts cellular trafficking and signaling), and transcription factors central to defense gene regulation. This multi-target approach effectively suppresses both Pattern-Triggered Immunity (PTI) and Effector-Triggered Immunity (ETI). In conclusion, this synthesis aims to deepen the mechanistic understanding of YopJ family-mediated pathogenesis by integrating structural biology with cellular function across host kingdoms. Elucidating the precise molecular basis for substrate selection—how conserved platforms achieve target diversity—is a major frontier. Furthermore, this knowledge provides a vital theoretical foundation for developing novel anti-virulence strategies. Targeting the conserved IP₆-binding pocket or the catalytic acetyltransferase activity itself represents a promising avenue for designing broad-spectrum inhibitors that could disarm this critical family of bacterial effectors, potentially offering new therapeutic approaches against a range of pathogenic bacteria.

[摘 要] 目的：探讨lncRNA DLEU2通过EZH2/H3K27me3途径调控IKKα介导甲状腺癌（TC）放射性碘抵抗的作用机制。方法：利用TCGA数据库分析TC中DLEU2的表达及其与EZH2的相关性。构建放射性碘抵抗的TPC-1细胞（RR-TPC-1细胞）模型及裸鼠移植瘤模型，通过敲低或过表达DLEU2（si-DLEU2/OE-DLEU2）、抑制EZH2（UNC1999）、过表达IKKα（OE-IKKα）进行干预，采用qPCR、WB、RIP、ChIP、CCK-8、流式细胞术、TUNEL染色及体内成瘤实验检测基因与蛋白表达、表观修饰、细胞增殖、凋亡及肿瘤生长。结果：TCGA分析显示，DLEU2在TC组织中显著上调（P < 0.001），与患者不良预后相关（P = 0.008 4），且与EZH2表达呈正相关（r = 0.390, P < 0.001）；RIP证实EZH2与DLEU2存在相互作用/结合（P < 0.05）。体外实验表明，敲低DLEU2可显著下调RR-TPC-1细胞中EZH2、IKKα表达及H3K27me3修饰水平，抑制NF-κB通路活化（P < 0.05或P < 0.01），抑制细胞增殖、促进凋亡（均P < 0.05）。联合敲低DLEU2与抑制EZH2进一步增强上述效应，而过表达IKKα则可部分逆转上述效应（P < 0.05或P < 0.01）。体内实验进一步证实，敲低DLEU2联合抑制EZH2可显著抑制移植瘤生长，增加肿瘤细胞凋亡（均P < 0.01）；IKKα过表达则部分逆转上述抗肿瘤效应（P < 0.05或P < 0.01）。结论：lncRNA DLEU2通过招募EZH2催化H3K27me3修饰，间接激活IKKα/NF-κB信号并形成正反馈环路，介导TPC-1细胞131I抵抗。

BackgroundPersistent cognitive impairment is prevalent among patients with stable schizophrenia. While serum total bile acid （TBA） level in acute-phase patients are known to be associated with cognitive dysfunction， the relationship between serum TBA and multi-dimensional cognitive functions in stable phase patients remains unclear. ObjectiveTo investigate the correlation between serum TBA level and cognitive function in patients with stable schizophrenia， and to evaluate its predictive value for cognitive impairment， thereby providing a serological biomarker for the timely identification and objective assessment of cognitive dysfunction. MethodsA cross-sectional study was conducted on 137 inpatients with stable schizophrenia at The Fourth People's Hospital of Yancheng from March to December 2024. All participants met the diagnostic criteria of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders， fifth edition （DSM-5）. Cognitive function was evaluated using the Chinese Brief Cognitive Test （C-BCT）， patients were categorized into four groups： normal cognition （n=28）， mild impairment （n=28）， moderate impairment （n=47）， and severe impairment （n=34）. Fasting venous blood samples were collected， and serum TBA level was quantified using an enzymatic cycle assay. Spearman correlation analysis was ultilized to determine the relationship between serum TBA level， overall cognitive function， and specific cognitive domains. Binary Logistic regression model was used （adjusting for covariates such as age， gender， and disease duration） to analyze the impact of serum TBA level on overall and individual cognitive functions. The predictive value of serum TBA level for overall cognitive impairment was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic （ROC） curve. ResultsSerum TBA levels differed significantly among the four groups （H=18.677， P<0.01）. Specifically， serum TBA levels in both the moderate and severe cognitive impairment groups were significantly higher than those in the normal cognitive group （adjusted P<0.01）. Serum TBA level was positively correlated with the severity grading of overall cognitive impairment （r_s=0.354， P<0.05）， and negatively correlated with T-scores on the trail making test （r_s=-0.328， P<0.05）， continuous performance test （r_s=-0.247， P<0.05）， digit span （r_s=-0.265， P<0.05）， and symbol coding （r_s=-0.221， P<0.05）. Binary Logistic regression analysis identified serum TBA level as an independent risk factor for overall cognitive impairment （OR=1.322， 95% CI： 1.021 - 1.713， P=0.034）， with a particularly robust predictive ability for impaired information processing speed （OR=1.325， 95% CI： 1.057 - 1.661， P=0.015）. The area under ROC curve （AUC） for serum TBA level in predicting overall cognitive impairment was 0.738， with a sensitivity of 60.61% and a specificity of 78.64%. ConclusionIn patients with stable schizophrenia， elevated serum TBA levels are associated with worse overall cognitive function， as well as deficits in information processing speed， attention， working memory， and executive function. Serum TBA serves as an independent risk factor and exhibits moderate predictive value for overall cognitive impairmen，particularly in the domain of information processing speed. ［Funded by Yancheng Municipal Health Commission Medical Research Project （number， YK2024141）］

ObjectiveTo investigate the therapeutic efficacy of Qizhi Tongluo granules on proteinuria in membranous nephropathy （MN） and its potential protective effects and underlying mechanism against endoplasmic reticulum stress. MethodsAfter 70 Sprague-Dawley （SD） rats were adaptively fed for one week， the MN rat model was established by injecting cationic bovine serum albumin （C-BSA） into the tail vein. Rats were divided into the normal group， model group， low-dose Qizhi Tongluo granules group （2.43 g·kg^-1）， medium-dose group （4.86 g·kg^-1）， high-dose group （9.72 g·kg^-1）， and benazepril group （0.01 g·kg^-1）， with 10 rats in each group. Treatment was administered for four weeks. The 24-hour urinary total protein （UTP） content， as well as the levels of reactive oxygen species （ROS）， malondialdehyde （MDA）， and glutathione peroxidase （GPX） in renal tissues， were measured. Renal pathological changes were assessed using immunoglobulin G （IgG） staining， periodic acid-silver methenamine （PASM） staining， and transmission electron microscopy （TEM）. The localization and expression levels of glucose-regulated protein 78 （GRP78）， phosphorylated inositol-requiring enzyme 1α （p-IRE1α）， phosphorylated protein kinase R-like endoplasmic reticulum kinase （p-PERK）， activating transcription factor 4 （ATF4）， nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 （Nrf2）， and 2'-5' oligoadenylate synthetase-like protein 1 （OASL1） in rat kidneys were detected by immunohistochemistry （IHC）. The mRNA and protein expression levels of Nrf2， thioredoxin 1 （Trx1）， thioredoxin-interacting protein （TXNIP）， and OASL1 in rat kidneys were measured using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction （Real-time PCR） and Western blot analysis. ResultsCompared with the normal group， UTP levels were significantly increased in the model rats （P<0.05）， with obvious renal pathological damage. GPX content levels were significantly decreased in renal tissue （P<0.05）， while ROS and MDA content levels were significantly increased （P<0.05）. The expression of GRP78， p-IRE1α， p-PERK， and ATF4 proteins was significantly increased in the kidneys （P<0.05）， while the mRNA and protein expression levels of Trx1 and Nrf2 were significantly decreased （P<0.05）. The mRNA and protein expression levels of TXNIP and OASL1 were significantly increased （P<0.05）. Compared with the model group， the UTP levels of rats in the Qizhi Tongluo granules groups and the benazepril group decreased to varying degrees （P<0.05）， and renal pathological damage was significantly alleviated. The GPX content in renal tissue was significantly increased （P<0.05）， while the ROS and MDA levels were significantly decreased （P<0.05）. The expression of GRP78， p-IRE1α， p-PERK， and ATF4 proteins in the kidney was significantly decreased （P<0.05）. The mRNA and protein expression levels of Trx1 and Nrf2 were significantly increased （P<0.05）， while the mRNA and protein expression levels of TXNIP and OASL1 were significantly decreased （P<0.05）. ConclusionQizhi Tongluo granules alleviates proteinuria in MN rats by modulating the Nrf2/OASL1 signaling pathway in renal tissues to reduce endoplasmic reticulum stress， which represents its underlying mechanism.

Asthma and cough variant asthma （CVA） are both chronic heterogeneous diseases characterized by airway microenvironment homeostasis disruption as their core pathological basis. In recent years， micro ribonucleic acid （miRNA）， as core post-transcriptional regulators， have been shown to finely modulate multiple critical signaling pathways， including Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription （JAK/STAT）， nuclear factor-κB （NF-κB）， transforming growth factor-β/Smad （TGF-β/Smad）， and phosphoinositide 3-kinase/protein kinase B （PI3K/Akt）， as well as various pathological processes such as airway epithelial barrier restoration， type 1 helper T cell（Th1）/Th2 immune balance， M1/M2 macrophage polarization， airway smooth muscle cell function， and airway hyperresponsiveness. miRNAs play a pivotal role in maintaining and disrupting airway microenvironment homeostasis. Based on recent Chinese and international literature， a logical framework centered on "airway microenvironment homeostasis disruption， miRNA regulation， and microenvironment restoration" was constructed. From the perspective of the airway microenvironment， the therapeutic roles of miRNA in asthma and CVA were systematically summarized， and the cascade regulatory mechanisms of miRNA throughout the entire disease course were elucidated. The hub miRNA was identified， and research progress on traditional Chinese medicine intervention strategies was explored. Furthermore， current clinical studies on RNA therapeutics and traditional Chinese medicine in achieving multi-target and multi-pathway integrated treatment by modulating miRNA were analyzed. The value of miRNA as biomarkers for diagnosis， phenotyping， and prognosis assessment， as well as the potential and application prospects of miRNA mimics and antagonists in precision therapy， were summarized， with the ultimate goal of advancing precision therapy for asthma and CVA.

Objective To investigate the temporal changes in pathological damage and macrophage polarization in liver and spleen tissues of mice infected with Angiostrongylus cantonensis, and to preliminarily unravel the peripheral immune responses during the early stage of A. cantonensis infection. Methods Forty female BALB/c mice at ages of 6 to 8 weeks were randomly divided into four groups, including the control group and 7-, 14-, and 21-day infection groups, with 10 mice in each group. Each mouse in the infection groups was inoculated with 30 third-stage (L3) larvae of A. cantonensis by oral gavage, and five mice were randomly selected from each infection group on days 7, 14, and 21 post-infection, while mice in the control group were given the same volume of physiological saline and five mice were randomly selected from the control group on the day of oral gavage. Mouse liver and spleen tissues were sampled. The histopathological changes of mouse liver and spleen tissues were observed using hematoxylin and eosin (HE) staining, and the percentage of positive staining area and the co-localization positive rates of the macrophage surface antigens F4/80, CD86, and CD206 were quantified in mouse liver and spleen tissues using immunohistochemical and immunofluorescence staining. In addition, five mice were collected from each infection group on days 7, 14, and 21 post-infection, and five mice were collected from the control group on the day of oral gavage. Mouse liver and spleen tissues were sampled for detection of macrophage markers CD86 and CD206 and macrophage phenotyping using flow cytometry, and the expression of M1 macrophage markers, including inducible nitric oxide synthase (Nos2), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and M2 markers, including arginase 1 (Arg1), mannose receptor C-type 1 (Mrc1) and chitinase-like protein 3 (Chil3) was quantified in mouse liver and spleen tissues using real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) assay. Results Proliferative lesions of the hepatocyte were observed in mouse liver tissues and the follicular structures of the mouse spleen white pulp were disrupted 21 days post-infection with A. cantonensis. Immunohistochemical staining showed that there were significant differences in the percentages of F4/80, CD86 and CD206 positive staining areas in the liver and spleen tissues among the four groups of mice (F = 242.40, 197.14, 183.19, 157.65, 242.35 and 146.24; all P values < 0.001), and the percentages of positive staining in the liver and spleen tissues of mice in the 14-day infection group [(4.45 ± 0.51)%, (3.74 ± 0.67)%, (8.32 ± 0.72)%, (16.56 ± 1.14)%, (11.62 ± 0.52)%, and (8.29 ± 0.72)%, respectively] and the 21-day infection group [(3.70 ± 0.11)%, (3.22 ± 0.43)%, (11.53 ± 1.03)%, (12.59 ± 1.05)%, (9.02 ± 0.83)%, and (11.67 ± 1.10)%, respectively] were higher than in the control group [(0.35 ± 0.16)%, (0.40 ± 0.02)%, (0.93 ± 0.05)%, (2.78 ± 0.26)%, (2.33 ± 0.20)%, and (1.85 ± 0.20)%, respectively] (all P values < 0.05). Immunofluorescence staining showed significant differences in the positive rates of F4/80 co-localization with CD86 and CD206 in mouse liver and spleen tissues among the four groups (F = 24.42, 25.28, 54.51 and 130.55; all P values < 0.001). Flow cytometry detected significant differences in the proportions of CD86⁺ and CD206⁺ macrophages in mouse liver and spleen tissues among the four groups (F = 67.98, 18.41, 29.77, 172.80; all P values < 0.001), and the proportions of CD206⁺ macrophages in the liver and spleen of the 21-day infection group were significantly higher than those in the control group [(9.25 ± 2.55)% vs (3.83 ± 0.72)%, and (4.22 ± 0.56)% vs (0.47 ± 0.18)%, respectively] (both P values < 0.05). In addition, RT-qPCR assay quantified significant differences in the relative mRNA expression of M1 macrophage markers (IL-1β, TNF-α and Nos2) and M2 macrophage markers (Arg1, Chil3 and Mrc1) in mouse liver and spleen tissues among the four groups (F = 41.30, 31.82, 199.33, 19.96, 62.01, 119.76, 23.67, 95.90, 72.27, 82.59, 123.41 and 29.75; all P values < 0.05). Conclusions A. cantonensis infection may cause progressive pathological damage in mouse liver and spleen tissues, accompanied by dynamic temporal changes in macrophage polarization. M1 macrophage polarization predominates at the early stage of A. cantonensis infection and shifts towards M2 polarization at the later stages, suggesting that M2 polarization may participate in immune regulation at late stages of A. cantonensis infection by suppressing excessive inflammatory responses and promoting tissue repair.

Multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacterial infections have emerged as a serious challenge of global public health crisis. The overuse and misuse of conventional antibiotics have dramatically accelerated the emergence, evolution and worldwide spread of drug-resistant bacterial strains, necessitating urgent exploration of novel antibacterial strategies. Bacteriophages serve as natural bacterial predators offering distinct advantages including high host specificity, autonomous self-replication capabilities and cost-effective large-scale production. However, wild-type phages present significant clinical limitations due to their narrow host ranges, susceptibility to rapid immune clearance and poor penetration of bacterial biofilms, which severely restrict their therapeutic applications. The convergence of synthetic biology, nanotechnology and advanced gene editing technologies has accelerated the development of engineered bacteriophage platforms, providing programmable, scalable and clinically translatable pathways to overcome these inherent biological constraints. Here, we systematically delineate four fundamental strategies for engineered bacteriophage development. Chemical modification utilizes reactive functional groups such as amino, carboxyl and thiol moieties on capsid proteins through esterification, amidation or click chemistry reactions to achieve precise drug conjugation and surface functionalization. In vivo editing encompasses ultraviolet or chemical mutagenesis for random mutation induction, homologous recombination for targeted genetic alterations, recombineering methodologies including electroporation-mediated bacteriophage recombination engineering, and CRISPR-Cas systems for precise genome editing to enable exact genetic reconstruction and host range reprogramming. In vitro synthesis leverages genome engineering platforms where intact phage genomes are transferred into yeast or host bacteria to facilitate highly efficient homologous recombination, enabling large DNA fragment assembly and cross-gene host range expansion without bacterial toxicity constraints. Directed evolution combines artificial selection through mutation library screening with rational design approaches involving chimeric receptor binding protein construction or site-specific mutagenesis, effectively balancing the discovery of unknown adaptive pathways with targeted host specificity modification. Moreover, we comprehensively discuss therapeutic applications across diverse clinical scenarios. Engineered bacteriophage effectively disrupt bacterial biofilms through sophisticated functionalized delivery platforms including nanozyme-conjugated phages, phage-liposome nanoconjugates and bio-responsive hydrogels, demonstrating significantly enhanced bactericidal efficiency compared to unmodified free phages. These bioengineered vectors attenuate bacterial virulence and resensitize pathogens to antibiotics by delivering CRISPR-Cas systems or base editors to disrupt critical virulence factors such as pili, capsule synthesis machineries and quorum sensing systems, or by inactivating antibiotic resistance determinants including beta-lactamase genes. As an intelligent nanomedicine delivery platform, engineered bacteriophage enable precise pathogen elimination an through photocatalytic reactive oxygen species generation, immunomodulatory interventions, or controlled release of antibacterial drugs. Furthermore, oral administration of engineered bacteriophage facilitates microbiota modulation, which selectively eliminate intestinal pathogens while preserve beneficial commensal microbiota, thereby restoring microbial community balance and preventing complications associated with dysbiosis. Finally, we critically analyze persistent challenges including host strain matching complexity, evolution of bacterial resistance mechanisms, pharmacokinetic optimization requirements, optimal administration route selection, large-scale production quality control standards and clinical dosing determination protocols. Through multidisciplinary integration of synthetic biology, infectious disease medicine and immunology, future translational medicine studies of bacteriophage should establish comprehensive technical platforms encompassing rapid phage screening, intelligent rational design, rigorous in vivo evaluation and standardized clinical validation processes, ultimately advancing engineered bacteriophage from laboratory innovations to clinically approved therapeutics for effectively combating MDR bacterial infections.

OBJECTIVE To explore the mechanism of Jiawei xiaochaihu decoction against hippocampal neuronal apoptosis in acute epileptic model mice. METHODS Thirty-six male KM mice were randomly divided into four groups with 9 mice in each group： normal control group （normal saline）， epilepsy model group （normal saline）， Jiawei xiaochaihu decoction group [7 g/（kg·d）] and carbamazepine group [positive control， 30 mg/（kg·d）]. Except for the normal control group， the acute epilepsy model was established in the other groups. After successful modeling， mice in each group were given corresponding drugs or normal saline by intragastric administration once a day for 2 consecutive weeks. After drug intervention， the ultrastructure and pathological morphology of hippocampal CA1 region were observed. The number of TUNEL-positive cells in hippocampus was detected， and the expression levels of protein kinase B （AKT）， Caspase-3， B-cell lymphoma-extra large （Bcl-xL）， Bcl-2-associated X protein （Bax）， as well as the ratio of phosphorylated AKT（p-AKT） to AKT were determined. RESULTS Compared with the normal control group， severe ultrastructural and pathological damages were observed in the hippocampal CA1 region of epilepsy model group； the number of TUNEL-positive cells was significantly increased （ P ＜0.05）. The expression levels of p-AKT and Bcl-xL were significantly down-regulated （ P ＜0.05）， while the Bax and Caspase-3 were significantly up-regulated （ P ＜0.05），accompanied by a remarkable decrease of p-AKT/AKT ratio （ P ＜0.05）. Compared with the epilepsy model group， hippocampal tissue ultrastructure， pathological damage， and the aforementioned indicators were significantly improved in Jiawei xiaochaihu decoction group （ P ＜0.05）. CONCLUSIONS Jiawei xiaochaihu decoction can inhibit hippocampal neuronal apoptosis in acute epileptic mice， and its mechanism may be related to activating AKT phosphorylation， increasing p-AKT/AKT ratio， up-regulating Bcl-xL expression and down-regulating the expression of Bax and Caspase-3.

γδ T cells possess both innate and adaptive immune characteristics. Their antigen recognition is independent of major histocompatibility complex presentation， and they can directly recognize abnormal tumor metabolism， showing unique application potential in tumors with low immune infiltration. This paper systematically sorts out the biological characteristics and antitumor immune functions of γδ T cells， and mainly reviews the relevant mechanisms by which active ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine regulate γδ T cells to exert antitumor immune functions. Glycyrrhiza polysaccharide and Astragalus polysaccharide can enhance the antitumor immune function of γδ T cells by promoting the expression of various cytokines， regulating intestinal flora and alleviating immunosuppressive state. Quercetin and puerarin can strengthen γδ T cell-mediated tumor cell killing by regulating the proliferation of γδ T cells， the expression of cytotoxic effector molecules and related signaling pathways. Toosendanin can potentiate γδ T cell-induced tumor cell killing by down-regulating the expression of anti-apoptotic protein in tumor cells. Artesunate can boost γδ T cell-mediated antitumor immune responses by enhancing the effector function of γδ T cells and weakening tumor immune escape. Future research shall focus on exploring the synergistic effects and molecular mechanisms of the combined application of active ingredients of traditional Chinese medicine and γδ T cell immunotherapy， and identifying the key targets for γδ T cells to exert antitumor immune functions.
