OBJECTIVES: Non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) is a common mental health and behavioral issue among adolescents. This study aims to investigate the developmental trajectory of adolescent NSSI and gender differences, providing a foundation for better prevention and intervention. METHODS: A longitudinal study was conducted using the Adolescent Self-Injury Scale (ASIS) in a cohort of 1 042 junior high school students from 3 middle schools in Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province. Participants were surveyed 3 times at 6-month intervals. A latent growth curve model was constructed using Mplus8.0 to examine the development trajectory of NSSI, and multi-group comparisons were used to assess gender differences. RESULTS: Detection rates of NSSI at the 3 time points were 43.95%, 44.43%, and 38.36%, respectively. Mean of the intercept factor of the LGCM for adolescent NSSI behavior was 9.540 (P<0.001), and the mean slope was -2.297 (P<0.001). Both the variances of the intercept (σ²=169.431, P<0.001) and slope (σ²=141.981, P<0.001) were significant, with a significant negative correlation between intercept and slope (r=-0.559, P<0.001). There were no statistically significant gender differences in initial level or rate of change of NSSI behaviors (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS NSSI is relatively prevalent among adolescents, with female adolescents experiencing more severe NSSI. Individual differences exist in both the initial level and rate of change of NSSI, and overall, adolescent NSSI shows a decreasing trend over time. No significant gender differences were found in the trajectory of change.

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of InterTAN (IT) and dynamic hip screw (DHS) in treatment of femoral intertrochanteric fractures.Methods From July 2008 to November 2011,the patients with femoral intertrochanteric fractures were treated by IT (IT group,21 patients) and DHS (DHS group,35 patients).The intraoperative data (operative time,intraoperative blood loss,incision length and hospitalization period),postoperative complications (wound infection,lower limb deep venous thrombosis,bedsore,urinary tract infection and pneumonia) and fracture healing (fracture healing time,femoral neck crispation,coxa vara and Harris scores) were compared.Results IT group was superior to DHS group in operative time,intraoperative blood loss,incision length and hospitalization period [(62.16 ± 15.26) min vs.(85.78 ± 19.50) min,(237.73 ± 108.51) ml vs.(490.87 ± 127.90) ml,(10.20 ±2.02) cm vs.(19.83 ± 2.98) cm and (10.23 ±5.52) d vs.(15.58 ±5.32) d,P ＜0.01].However,there was no significant difference in postoperative complications (P ＞ 0.05).There was significant difference between IT group and DHS group in femoral neck crispation,coxa vara [9.52％ (2/21)vs.28.57％ (10/35),14.29％ (3/21)vs.31.43％ (11/35),P ＜ 0.01].There was no significant difference in fracture healing time and Harris scores (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions Compared with DHS,IT has extensive application,shorter surgical time and reliable fixation effect.Therefore,IT is suitable to femoral intertrochanteric fractures.

Objective To find out the pathologic changes and possible influencing factors in the process of spontaneous regression of plane warts.Methods One hundred and five lesional specimens taken from patients with plane warts were observed microscopically.Results The histologic features indicated slight hyperkeratosis,acanthosis and ballooning degeneration of keratinocytes in stable lesions;a combination of tower-peak shaped hyperkeratosis,cuneate hypergranulosis and ballooning degeneration in progressively increasing lesions;and infiltration of lymphocytes and necrosis of keratinocytes in inflammatory icthing lesions.Conclusions Specific cell-mediated immunity against keratimocytes may be involved in the process of regression of plane warts.There is a positive correlation between the activity of skin lesions and the induction of cellular immunity.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a RP-HPLC method for the determination of chlorogenic acid in Qingyan granules.METHODS:Waters Breeze System was used with a Hypersil BDS C18 column(5?m,4.6mm?150mm).The mobile phase was composed of methanol and 0.4%(V/V)H3PO4 water solution(20∶80,V/V),flow rate:1.0ml/min;wavelength of UV detector:327nm,column temperature 20℃.RESULTS:The calibration curve of chlorogenic acid was linear within the range of (174～1 392)ng(r=0.9 999).The average recovery was 100.10%,RSD=1.60%(n=5).CONCLUSION:This method is simple,sensitive,as well as reliable,and is available to quality control.
