Acupuncture is considered both safe and effective for treating depression;however,its underlying mechanism remains incompletely understood.This article reviewed the mechanisms of acupuncture in depression from the perspective of brain network dynamics.It has been found abnormal alterations in the structural and functional brain networks,including the default mode network,cognitive control network,salience network and affective network in individuals with depression.Acupuncture has been shown to enhance the diffusion anisotropy value of white matter and repair the microstructure of white matter fiber bundles in key brain regions.It can also modulate the activation the functional brain networks,either globally or in specific network segments,improve functional connectivity within and between functional networks,regulate global transmission efficiency and connectivity patterns of functional networks,restore brain network interaction balance,regulate abnormal integration of functional networks,and improve emotional regulation ability and cognitive function,in order to alleviate the clinical symptoms of depression and serve as an effective antidepressant therapy,which can provide reference for the study of acupuncture intervention in the brain network mechanism of depression.

Objective:To investigate the changes in serum levels of interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and hypoxia-inducible factor-2α (HIF-2α) in patients with intracranial aneurysms before and after surgery, and their relationship with clinical prognosis.Methods:A prospective research method was used, a total of 120 patients with intracranial aneurysms who underwent endovascular embolization treatment in Xi'an NO.9 Hospital from December 2019 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects. According to the prognosis after one-year follow-up, they were divided into poor prognosis group and good prognosis group. The general data of the two groups and the changes of serum IL-1β and HIF-2α levels before and after surgery were compared and analyzed. The changes of serum IL-1β and HIF-2α before and after surgery in patients with intracranial aneurysms and their relationship with the prognosis of patients were analyzed.Results:Among the 120 patients, 98 (81.67%) had a good prognosis and 22 (18.33%) had a poor prognosis. The proportion of large and wide necked aneurysms in the poor prognosis group was higher than that in the good prognosis group: 40.91% (9/22) vs. 10.20% (10/98), 45.45% (10/22) vs. 20.41%(20/98), with statistical significant differences ( P<0.05). On postoperative day 7, the serum levels of IL-1 β and HIF-2 α in the poor prognosis group were higher than those in the good prognosis group: (62.58 ± 6.12) ng/L vs. (56.95 ± 5.33) ng/L, (101.62 ± 10.55) ng/L vs. (92.70 ± 7.82) ng/L, with statistical significant differences ( P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the size of aneurysms, including giant aneurysms, wide necked aneurysms, and high levels of serum IL-1β and HIF-2α 7 d after surgery, were independent risk factors for clinical prognosis in patients with intracranial aneurysms ( P<0.05). The working characteristic curve of the subjects was drawn, and the results showed that serum IL-1β and HIF-2α had certain predictive value for the clinical prognosis of intracranial aneurysm patients 7 d after surgery, but their sensitivity was relatively low. The parallel experiment method was used to jointly predict the samples. The results showed that the area under the curve for predicting the clinical prognosis of intracranial aneurysm patients with serum IL-1β and HIF-2α at 7 d after surgery was 0.867, with sensitivity and specificity of 86.40% and 74.50%, respectively, indicating high predictive value. Conclusions:The levels of serum IL-1β and HIF-2α are significantly elevated in patients with intracranial aneurysms after surgery, and are closely related to their clinical prognosis, which can help predict the clinical prognosis of intracranial aneurysm patients.

Hepatic venous pressure gradient (HVPG) is the "gold standard" for the diagnosis of portal hypertension, which could be applied in the evaluation of liver cirrhosis. Combined use of HVPG with model for end-stage liver disease (MELD) scoring system may more accurately match the donors and recipients undergoing liver transplantation for liver cirrhosis, select the appropriate timing of surgery, and provide guidance for bridging treatment for patients on the waiting list for liver transplantation. Besides, HVPG may also predict clinical prognosis of liver transplant recipients, and provide evidence for early detection and intervention of potential complications. Therefore, the value of HVPG in preoperative evaluation and prognosis prediction of liver transplant recipients was reviewed, aiming to provide guidance for clinical diagnosis and treatment of liver transplant recipients before and after surgery.

Objective To assess iodine nutritional status of lactating women and infants (0-2 years old) in six ecological regions of Gansu Province,and to provide a scientific basis for iodine supplementation of target people.Methods According to different topography and climate conditions,Gansu Province was divided into six ecological regions:the desert region,the Gobi region of Hexi Corridor,the hills and valleys region of Loess Plateau,the Zhongshan Valley of Qinling Mountains,the grassland meadow area of Gannan plateau and the Loess Plateaugully region.Totally 5 counties were selected from each ecological region,and each county was divided into five geographic locations (east,south,west,north and center).In each location,one township was identified and ten samples of lactating women and infants (0-2 years old) were selected randomly and 60 salt samples of residents were collected to determine iodine content.At the same time salt intake of 20 residents was surveyed in three townships as mentioned above.The water samples of all the centralized water supply projects were collected in each county,and one water sample of the decentralized water supply in ten townships with the largest population of each county from east,south,west,north and center locations was collected to determine iodine content.One soil sample was collected to determine iodine content in east,south,west,north and center townships of each county.The urinary iodine and water iodine levels were measured with the method for determination of iodine in urine by As3+-Ce4+ catalytic spectrophotometry (WS/T 107-2006).The direct titration method among thegeneric methods for iodide testing in salt production industry (GB/T 13025.7-2012) was used to determine the salt iodine level,and the arbitration method was adopted for quantitative determination in the case of Sichuan salt or other special salts and the salt intake was estimated based on three day weighed food record.The soil iodine was determined using the amplified colorimetric method.Results Totally 1 476 and 1 461 urine samples of lactating women and infants were collected,and the total urine iodine medians of lactating women and infants (0-2 years old) were 149.05 and 151.34 μg/L,respectively,the urine iodine median of lactating women and infants in each ecological region was at the 100-199 μg/L appropriate level.Not weaning infants urine iodine (155.32 μg/L) was higher than that of the weaning infants (146.30 μg/L),the difference was significant statistically (Z =-2.808,P ＜ 0.05).There was a correlation between urine iodine of not weaning infants aged 0-2 years old and breastfeeding women (r =0.133,P ＜ 0.01),and there was no correlation between weaning infants and breastfeeding women (r =0.045,P ＞ 0.05).About 9 008 salt samples were collected,and the rates of qualified iodized salt intake in the six ecological regions were all higher than 93％.The daily salt intake per person ranged from 4.5 g to 12.6 g,in which the Loess Plateaugully region was the highest with 12.6 g and the grassland meadow area of Gannan plateau was the lowest with 4.5 g.The water iodine median of 1 513 water samples was 3.3 μg/L.The water iodine medians of the rest 4 ecological regions were all less than 5 μg/L except for the desert region (42.4 μg/L) and the Loess Plateau-gully region (30.0 μg/L) of which the median of water iodine was higher than 20 μg/L.The soil iodine median of 155 soil samples was 127 μg/kg,in which the desert region was the lowest with 78 μg/kg and the grassland meadow area of Gannan plateau was the highest with 218 μg/kg.Conclusion Lactating women and infants are in good iodine nutritional status and the present iodized salt concentration can meet the demand of iodine nutrition of lactating women and infants well.

Objective To study the expression of Stathmin gene in ovarian cancer tissue and its valuation value on effect of Paclitaxel combined with cisplatin chemotherapy.Methods 92 cases of ovarian cancerpatients underwent surgical and postoperative chemotherapy treatment in our hospital during July 2012 to February 2016 were selected with research subject.The expression of Stathmin gene in ovarian cancer tissues and adjacent tissues was measured by fluorescence quantitative PCR.All ovarian cancer patients were divided into high Stathmin group and low Stathmin group with 46 cases according to the expression of Stathmin gene in ovarian cancer tissues.Comparison the chemotherapy effectin ovarian cancerpatients with different Stathmin gene expression.Results The expression of Stathmin mRNA in ovarian cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues(P<0.05).After chemotherapy, serum tumor markers such as HE4, CA199, CA153, β-HCG in high Stathmin group were higher than those in low Stathmin group, angiogenesis indexes such as CXCR4, SDF-1, VEGF, Ang2 were lower than those in low Stathmin group, apoptotic indexes such as Fas/Apo-1 and Bcl-2 were higher than those in low Stathmin group(P<0.05).Conclusion Stathmin gene is highly expressed in ovarian cancer tissues, and the expression of Stathmin is negatively correlated with chemotherapy.

Objective To study the application value of CD10,desmin and vimentin in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of special types of uterine tumors.Methods The clinical data of 79 cases of special types of uterine cancer were retrospectively analyzed.CD10,desmin and vimentin were detected respectively by immunohistochemical streptavidin-perosidase(SP) method.Results The positive rates of CD10 in endometrial stromal sarcoma,epithelioid leiomyoma,atypical leiomyoma,leiomyosarcoma,carcinosarcoma were 76.2%,0.0%,13.3%,30.8%,75.0%,respectively.The positive rates of vimentin in endometrial stromal sarcoma,epithelioid leiomyoma,atypical leiomyoma,leiomyosarcoma,carcinosarcoma were 100.0%,5.6%,0.0%,46.2%,83.3%,respectively.The positive rates of desmin in endometrial stromal sarcoma,epithelioid leiomyoma,atypical leiomyoma,leiomyosarcoma,carcinosarcoma were 0.0%,61.1%,53.3%,30.8%,0.0%,respectively.The positive rates of vimentin and CD10 in endometrial stromal sarcoma and carcinosarcoma were all significantly higher than those in atypical leiomyoma,epithelioid leiomyoma(CD10:χ2=23.255,13.829,15.880,8.102,all P=0.000;vimentin:χ2=35.159,36.000,15.556,16.440,all P=0.000).The positive rates of desmin in atypical leiomyoma,epithelioid leiomyoma tissues were significantly higher than those in endometrial interstitial sarcomas,carcinosarcoma(χ2=11.480,6.717,17.875,9.097,all P=0.000).Conclusion CD10,desmin and vimentin can be used as sensitive indicators for the differential diagnosis of uterine tumors with special types.

Objective To study the mechanics situation of proximal femoral locking plate internal fixation after dynamic hip fixation in-tertrochanteric fracture. Methods Totally 10 couple of elderly proximal femur specimens were collected and intertrochanteric fracture model were prepared. Fixation material was removed after dynamic hip screw fixation. The left sides were collected as control group and given anti-rotation intramedullary nail internal fixation, while the right side were collected as observation group and given proximal femoral locking plate internal fixation. Then vertical displacement, axial stiffness and rotational stiffness under different loads were compared. Results Under dif-ferent loads, femoral bone vertical displacement and femur tuberosity vertical displacement in the observation group were both significantly shorter than those in the control group (P<0. 05), and femoral bone and femur tuberosity axial stiffness and rotational stiffness in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0. 05). Conclusion Proximal femoral locking plate internal fixation can improve stress load and enhance axial stiffness and rotational stiffness, and it's an ideal material for refracture fixation model after dynamic hip fixation intertrochanteric fracture.

Objective To analysis and compare the proteomic differences between neural stem cells and motor neurons in embryonic spinal cord in rat and discover the key different proteins. Methods Separating the protein of cells by the 2-D fluorescence difference gel electrophoresis, and to analyse the differences of protein expression with DeCyder software, and to identify with high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray tandem mass spectrometry. Results About 1 300 protein spots from the cells were gained after gel analysis. Eighty-seven protein spots were selected for mass spectrometry analysis. Fourty-four differently expressed proteins (24 in neural stem cells and 20 in motor neurons) were identified by mass spectrometry analysis.Conclusion Differently expressed proteins between neural stem cells and motor neurons were identified and it is helpful to find the new targets in neural stem cells differentiation into motor neurons.
