With the increasing utilization of cancer therapy, the incidence of lung injury associated with these treatments continues to rise. The recognition of pulmonary toxicity related to cancer therapy has become increasingly critical, for which interstitial lung disease (ILD) is a common cause of mortality. Cancer therapy-related ILD (CT-ILD) can result from a variety of treatments including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immune checkpoint inhibitors, antibody-drug conjugates, and radiotherapy. CT-ILD may progress rapidly and even be life-threatening; therefore, prompt diagnosis and timely treatment are crucial for effective management. This review aims to provide valuable information on the risk factors associated with CT-ILD; elucidate its underlying mechanisms; discuss its clinical features, imaging, and histological manifestations; and emphasize the clinical-related views of its diagnosis. In addition, this review provides an overview of grading, typing, and staging treatment strategies used for the management of CT-ILD.

OBJECTIVE:
To analyze the MYH9 gene sequence of a patient with hereditary thrombocytopenia and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and his family members, and to explore the relationship between MYH9 gene and tumors.
METHODS:
Peripheral blood samples were collected from the patients and their family members for complete blood count analysis. The platelet morphology was observed under microscope. The MYH9 gene sequence was analyzed by Whole Exon Sequencing and Sanger Sequencing.
RESULTS:
The mutation site c.279C>A:p.(Asn93Lys) in exon 2 of the MYH9 gene were found in patient and his family members, both presenting as thrombocytopenia. The platelet count was significantly increased after the administration of Avatrombopag.
CONCLUSION
A novel mutation of MYH9 was found in this study, and the case was sensitive to Avatrombopag, by exploring the relationship between the MYH9 gene and tumors, suggesting that the MYH9 gene may be associated with the development of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

Background and objective Both of lung cancer incidence and mortality rank first among all cancers in China.Previous lung cancer screening trials were mostly selective screening for high-risk groups such as smokers.Non-smoking women accounted for a considerable proportion of lung cancer cases in Asia. This study aimed to evaluate the outcome of community-based mass screening in Guangzhou and identify the high-risk factors for lung cancer. Methods Residents aged 40-74 years in Guangzhou were screened with low-dose computed tomography(LDCT)for lung cancer and the pulmonary nodules were classified and managed according to China National Lung Cancer Screening Guideline with Low-dose Computed Tomography(2018 version). The detection rate of positive nodules was calculated. Before the LDCT examination, residents were required to complete a"lung cancer risk factors questionnaire".The risk factors of the questionnaire were analyzed by least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)penalized Logistic regression analysis. Results A total of 6256 residents were included in this study.1228 positive nodules(19.63%)and 117 lung cancers were confirmed, including 6 cases of Tis,103 cases of stage Ⅰ(accounting for 88.03%of lung cancer). The results of LASSO penalized Logistic regression analysis indicated that age ≥50 yr(OR=1.07,95%CI:1.06-1.07),history of cancer(OR=3.29,95%CI:3.22-3.37),textile industry(OR=1.10,95%CI:1.08-1.13),use coal for cooking in childhood(OR=1.14,95%CI:1.13-1.16)and food al-lergy(OR=1.10,95%CI:1.07-1.13)were risk factors of lung cancer for female in this district. Conclusion This study highlighted that numerous early stages of lung cancer cases were detected by LDCT,which could be applied to screen-ing of lung cancer in women.Besides, age ≥50 yr,personal history of cancer, textile industry and use coal for cooking in childhood are risk factors for women in this district, which suggested that it's high time to raise the awareness of early lung cancer screening in this group.

OBJECTIVE To improve the diagnosis and treatment level of critically ill infectious diseases, standardize the clinical application of nanopore sequencing and promote the sound development of the technology. METHODS Division of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring of Chinese Pharmacological Society and Expert Committee of Precision Medicine for Clinical Treatment of Guangdong Pharmaceutical Association initiated and organized multidisciplinary experts to discuss and determine the consensus writing outline by using the nominal group method, forming a preliminary consensus draft; expert consultation was performed by using Delphi method, and then experts’ opinions were analyzed and revised to form consensus. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS Consensuses of Experts on the Application of Nanopore Sequencing Technology in the Detection of Pathogenic Microorganisms covers targeted sequencing, metagenomic sequencing and whole genome sequencing, and is standardized in terms of sample collection and storage, detection process, bioinformatics analysis and report interpretation; the recommendations are provided for the key issues.

Since an outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019, there have been more than 664 million confirmed cases and more than 6.7 million deaths worldwide. The Omicron variant discovered in November 2021 has become a dominant variant in China.Compared with the general population, Omicron infection mainly presents short-term upper respiratory symptoms followed by quick recovery; solid organ transplant recipients have the characteristics of a high incidence of severe disease and high mortality after infection, and the incidence of secondary infection and rebound positivity is significantly higher than that of the general population. This review focused upon preventive strategies of solid organ transplant recipients from the perspectives of the characteristics of organ transplant recipients, general preventive strategies, vaccination and long-acting neutralizing antibodies.

Currently COVID-19 variant virology and its prevalence both domestically and internationally have become a new norm. With the emergence of Omicron variant, the protective effect of original preventive measures against reinfection with variant strains has declined.Current prevalence of COVID-19 variant strains, the mechanisms of reinfection and the risks of reinfection in solid organ transplant recipients(SOTR)were discussed.Immunocompromised individuals, especially SOTR, face an elevated risk of multiple infections, such as seasonal influenza and respiratory syncytial virus, during high transmission seasons for respiratory viruses and require special care and protection. With the introduction of several small molecule drugs, there are now more options available for antiviral regimens. This review offered a brief overview of the characteristics of COVID-19 variant strains in the current scenario, disease incidence among SOTR in China, unique features of novel antiviral agents and optimizing the selection of diagnostic and therapeutic plans.
