Background Occupational groups are facing a "dual health threat". Research indicates that enhancing the occupational health literacy (OHL) of workers is crucial for safeguarding their health and well-being. However, at present, the research on OHL in China is still in its infancy and there is an urgent need to carry out systematic studies. Objective To analyze the OHL level and influencing factors of key industry groups in Huangshan City, and to provide a basis for targeted intervention activities. Methods From 2022 to 2023, a stratified cluster random sampling method was used to select 621 frontline workers from 20 companies in four industries: non-metallic mineral mining and dressing, textile and apparel, rubber and plastic products, and non-metallic mineral products in Huangshan City. The participants were asked to anonymously complete the National Key Population Occupational Health Literacy Monitoring Survey Personal Questionnaire. The overall and 4 dimension levels of OHL were calculated according to the "2022 Calculation Standards for Occupational Health Literacy Levels of Key Populations". The OHL level was defined as the proportion of the target population possessing adequate OHL (indicated by an overall or dimension-specific score rate ≥80% on the questionnaire). Results A total of 621 workers were surveyed during the study period, with 597 valid questionnaires collected, resulting in an effective rate of 96.14%. The participants were mainly frontline workers in small enterprises, presenting the pattern of "three lows and one long". The male-to-female ratio was 1.16∶1. The overall OHL level of the participants was 45.06% during the study period. The dimension-specific levels of occupational health legal knowledge, basic knowledge, basic skills, and healthy working methods and behaviors were 50.25%, 73.53%, 30.49%, and 60.13%, respectively. There were statistically significant differences in the overall OHL level and the four dimension-specific levels among workers across different industries (P<0.05), with the lowest overall OHL level in the textile and apparel industry (32.06%). The results of logistic regression analysis showed that compared with those with a monthly income of less than 3000 yuan, those with a monthly income of 3000 to 4999 yuan, 7000 to 8999 yuan, and ≥9000 yuan had higher OHL levels (OR=4.152, 3.796, 5.382); compared with those working 40 h or less per week, those working 49 to 54 h had lower OHL level (OR=0.491); compared with those with less than 5 years of work experience, those with 5 to 9 years of work experience had higher OHL levels (OR=1.770); compared with workers in the non-metallic mineral products industry, workers in the non-metallic mineral mining and dressing industry and the rubber and plastic products industry had higher OHL levels (OR=3.790, 2.511) (P<0.05). Conclusion The OHL levels of workers in the four key industries of the secondary industry in Huangshan City are generally low and develop unevenly. We should focus on strengthening the occupational health intervention for frontline workers in the textile, clothing and apparel and frontline workers with low incomes, long working hours, and more than 15 years of service, and emphasize the training of practical application of theoretical knowledge to improve the OHL level of workers in all aspects.

The Simultaneous Treatment of Pulse and Syndrome of Water Qi Disease chapter of Synopsis of Golden Chamber is regarded as one of its most challenging sections. Although nominally focused on water qi disease, this chapter also discusses yellowish sweating disease, qifen disease, and other diseases. This multiplicity of topics led to the misconception that all these diseases are water qi diseases, complicating the diagnosis and treatment strategies. By distinguishing water qi as both a pathogenic factor and a disease entity, this paper redefines the concept, linking it to the abnormal accumulation of liquid and gaseous water in the body, akin to the disrupted water cycle of the nature. It demonstrates that ZHANG Zhongjing recognizes the primary syndrome, pathogenesis, and therapeutic principles of water qi disease from the generation, aggregation, and dissipation of vaporous water. The study further differentiates water qi disease, yellowish sweating disease, and qifen disease as distinct entities. An analysis of their etiology, pathogenesis, syndromes, and treatment approaches establishes their independence while exploring their interrelations. Moreover, the relationships among the qifen, xuefen, and water phase diseases are clarified. ZHANG Zhongjing′s discussion in the Simultaneous Treatment of Pulse and Syndrome of Water Qi Disease identifies the three diseases around the three " disease of water phase." The clarification of the concepts and relationships of the diseases in the Simultaneous Treatment of Pulse and Syndrome of Water Qi Disease will help to systematically and thoroughly elucidate ZHANG Zhongjing′s principles and thoughts on identifying and treating water qi disease.

[摘 要] 目的：探究双特异性磷酸酶26（DUSP26）在肺腺癌（LUAD）A549细胞增殖、迁移和侵袭中的作用及其分子机制。方法：检索肿瘤数据库GEPIA2网站DUSP26表达数据，分析DUSP26在LUAD患者和正常人肺组织中的表达差异。收集2022年10月至2023年10月期间萍乡市人民医院手术切除的12例LUAD组织和癌旁组织标本，通过免疫组织化学（IHC）和WB法检测DUSP26在LUAD组织和癌旁组织之间的表达差异；通过WB法检测DUSP26在4种LUAD细胞（A549、SK-LU-1、Calu-3、H1299）和2种正常支气管上皮细胞（BEAS-2B、HBEC）中的表达差异。利用慢病毒转染细胞的方法构建稳定过表达DUSP26（DUSP26-OE）及阴性对照（DUSP26-OENC）的A549细胞，通过克隆形成、划痕愈合实验、Transwell实验分别检测DUSP26过表达对细胞增殖、迁移及侵袭能力的影响，WB法检测各组细胞中TGF-β1/SMAD2/3通路、EMT相关蛋白的表达水平，细胞免疫荧光法检测细胞中Ki-67、cyclin D1表达水平。加入TGF-β1重组蛋白进行回复实验。构建A549细胞裸鼠荷瘤模型，观察DUSP26过表达对移植瘤体内生长的影响，WB法检测移植瘤组织中TGF-β1/SMAD2/3通路、EMT相关蛋白表达水平，免疫荧光染色法检测移植瘤组织中Ki-67、cyclin D1表达水平。结果：DUSP26在LUAD组织和细胞中均呈低表达（P < 0.05或P < 0.01或P < 0.001或P < 0.000 1）。与DUSP26-OENC组相比，DUSP26-OE组A549细胞的增殖、迁移和侵袭能力均显著降低（P < 0.01或P < 0.001），TGF-β1、p-SMAD2/3、vimentin、N-cadherin、snail、Ki-67、cyclin D1表达均降低（P < 0.01或P < 0.001或P < 0.000 1），E-cadherin表达升高（P < 0.000 1）。加入5 ng/mL TGF-β1重组蛋白后，可部分逆转在体外实验中由DUSP26过表达导致的结果。成功构建裸鼠A549细胞荷瘤模型，DUSP26-OE组裸鼠移植瘤生长速度缓慢，体积和质量均减小（均P < 0.001），移植瘤组织中TGF-β1、p-SMAD2/3、vimentin、N-cadherin、snail、Ki-67、cyclin D1表达均降低（P < 0.01或P < 0.001），E-cadherin表达升高（P < 0.000 1）。结论：DUSP26在LUAD组织和细胞中均呈低表达状态，上调DUSP26的表达水平能够通过抑制TGF-β1/SMAD2/3信号通路抑制A549细胞的增殖、迁移和侵袭。

BACKGROUND: Growing evidence suggests that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) exert pivotal roles in fostering chemoresistance across diverse tumors. Nevertheless, the precise involvement of lncRNAs in modulating chemoresistance within the context of gallbladder cancer (GBC) remains obscure. This study aimed to uncover how lncRNAs regulate chemoresistance in gallbladder cancer, offering potential targets to overcome drug resistance. METHODS: To elucidate the relationship between gemcitabine sensitivity and small nucleolar RNA host gene 1 ( SNHG1 ) expression, we utilized publicly available GBC databases, GBC tissues from Renji Hospital collected between January 2017 and December 2019, as well as GBC cell lines. The assessment of SNHG1, miR-23b-3p, and phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN) expression was performed using in situ  hybridization, quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction, and western blotting. The cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assay was used to quantify the cell viability. Furthermore, a GBC xenograft model was employed to evaluate the impact of SNHG1 on the therapeutic efficacy of gemcitabine. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analyses were executed to assess the specificity and sensitivity of SNHG1. RESULTS: Our analyses revealed an inverse correlation between the lncRNA SNHG1 and gemcitabine resistance across genomics of drug sensitivity in cancer (GDSC) and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) datasets, GBC cell lines, and patients. Gain-of-function investigations underscored that SNHG1 heightened the gemcitabine sensitivity of GBC cells in both in vitro and in vivo  settings. Mechanistic explorations illuminated that SNHG1 could activate PTEN -a commonly suppressed tumor suppressor gene in cancers-thereby curbing the development of gemcitabine resistance in GBC cells. Notably, microRNA (miRNA) target prediction algorithms unveiled the presence of miR-23b-3p binding sites within SNHG1 and the 3'-untranslated region (UTR) of PTEN . Moreover, SNHG1 acted as a sponge for miR-23b-3p, competitively binding to the 3'-UTR of PTEN , thereby amplifying PTEN expression and heightening the susceptibility of GBC cells to gemcitabine. CONCLUSION The SNHG1/miR-23b-3p/PTEN axis emerges as a pivotal regulator of gemcitabine sensitivity in GBC cells, holding potential as a promising therapeutic target for managing GBC patients.

Various chromatographic methods were comprehensively applied to study the chemical composition of the ethyl acetate extract from Aucklandiae Radix. The structures of all compounds were identified by analyzing their physicochemical properties and using spectroscopic methods. Two new sesquiterpenoids, named auclappsines A and B(1 and 2) were isolated and identified. Through in vitro high content screening and with the use of a guggulsterone-induced L02 cells, the effects of 1 and 2 on farnesoid X receptor(FXR) protein expression were investigated. The results showed that 1 had a significant FXR activation effect, providing a scientific basis for the development of drugs for the treatment of liver and gallbladder diseases.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate possible associations between physical function assessment scales, such as Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB) and Berg Balance Scale (BBS), with all-cause mortality in acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF) patients. METHODS: A total of 108 ADHF patients were analyzed from October 2020 to October 2022, and followed up to May 2023. The association between baseline clinical characteristics and all-cause mortality was analyzed by univariate Cox regression analysis, while for SPPB and BBS, univariate Cox regression analysis was followed by receiver operating characteristic curves, in which the area under the curve represented their predictive accuracy for all-cause mortality. Incremental predictive values for both physical function assessments were measured by calculating net reclassification index and integrated discrimination improvement scores. Optimal cut-off value for BBS was then identified using restricted cubic spline plots, and survival differences below and above that cut-off were compared using Kaplan-Meier survival curves and the log-rank test. The clinical utility of BBS was measured using decision curve analysis. RESULTS: For baseline characteristics, age, female, blood urea nitrogen, as well as statins, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor blockers, or angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitors, were predictive for all-cause mortality for ADHF patients. With respect to SPPB and BBS, higher scores were associated with lower all-cause mortality rates for both assessments; similar area under the curves were measured for both (0.774 for SPPB and 0.776 for BBS). Furthermore, BBS ≤ 36.5 was associated with significantly higher mortality, which was still applicable even adjusting for confounding factors; BBS was also found to have great clinical utility under decision curve analysis. CONCLUSIONS BBS or SPPB could be used as tools to assess physical function in ageing ADHF patients, as well as prognosticate on all-cause mortality. Moreover, prioritizing the improvement of balance capabilities of ADHF patients in cardiac rehabilitation regimens could aid in lowering mortality risk.

Infertility incidence is rising globally every year,and in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer(IVF-ET)has become one of the main treatment methods to achieve conception.However,a larger proportion of infertile patients still is unable to conceive pregnancy for the lower successful pregnancy rate of IVF-ET.Acupuncture exerts unique effects as an adjuvant therapy of IVF-ET and has achieved good results in clinical application.This paper reviews the current status and relationship between acupuncture and IVF-ET,further demonstrates the role of acupuncture therapy for IVF-ET,and discusses its direction of subsequent development.

Influenza virus causes serious threat to human life and health. Due to the inherent high variability of influenza virus, clinically resistant mutant strains of currently approved anti-influenza virus drugs have emerged. Therefore, it is urgent to develop antiviral drugs with new targets or mechanisms of action. RNA-dependent RNA polymerase is directly responsible for viral RNA transcription and replication, and plays key roles in the viral life cycle, which is considered an important target of anti-influenza drug design. From the point of view of medicinal chemistry, this review summarizes current advances in diverse small-molecule inhibitors targeting influenza virus RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, hoping to provide valuable reference for development of novel antiviral drugs.

Objective To observe the levels of serum thymidine kinase 1(TK1)and secreted protein Dikkopf-1(DKK1)in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),and analyze the relation-ship between serum TK1,DKK1 and the prognosis of NSCLC.Methods This study adopted a prospective co-hort study method,a total of 91 chemotherapy patients with advanced NSCLC admitted in Jinshan Branch of Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital from January 2020 to June 2021 were enrolled as the research objects.All patients received the detection of serum TK1 and DKK1 on admission,completed 4 chemotherapy cycles in Jinshan Branch of Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital and were followed up for 3 months.The disease remission rate was evaluated according to the relevant standards.The patients with complete remission and partial re-mission were included in the good prognosis group,and those with the stable and progressive lesions were in-cluded in the poor prognosis group.The levels of serum TK1 and DKK1 were compared between the two groups.Logistic regression was used to analyze the relationship between the levels of serum TK1 and DKK1 and the prognosis of patients with advanced NSCLC.Results Among 91 patients with advanced NSCLC who received chemotherapy,threre were 58 cases(63.74％)in the good prognosis group,and 33 cases(36.26％)in the poor prognosis group.The levels of serum carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),TK1 and DKK1 in the poor prognosis group were higher than those in the good prognosis group(P＜0.05).Logistic regression anal-ysis showed that the high levels of serum TK1 and DKK1 were the influencing factors of poor prognosis in pa-tients with advanced NSCLC(OR＞1,P＜0.05).The receiver operating characteristic curve was drawn,and the results showed that the area under the curve of serum TK1,DKK1 alone and combined for predicting the poor prognosis in patients with advanced NSCLC was＞0.700,all of which had certain predictive value,and the predictive value of the combined detection was the highest.Conclusion The abnormal increase of serum TK1 and DKK1 levels may indicate a high risk of poor prognosis in patients with advanced NSCLC.Early monito-ring of serum TK1 and DKK1 levels in patients has certain positive significance for predicting and evaluating the prognosis of patients.

Objective:Trigeminal neuralgia(TN)is a severe chronic neuropathic pain that mainly affects the distribution area of the trigeminal nerve with limited treating efficacy.There are numerous treatments for TN,but currently the main clinical approach is to suppress pain by carbamazepine(CBZ).Brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)is closely related to chronic pain.This study aims to determine the effects of CBZ treatment on BDNF expression in both the trigeminal ganglion(TG)and serum of TN via a chronic constriction injury of the infraorbital nerve(ION-CCI)rat model. Methods:The ION-CCI models were established in male Sprague-Dawley rats and were randomly divided into a sham group,a TN group,a TN+low-dose CBZ treatment group(TN+20 mg/kg CBZ group),a TN+medium-dose CBZ treatment group(TN+40 mg/kg CBZ group),and a TN+high-dose CBZ treatment group(TN+80 mg/kg CBZ group).The mechanical pain threshold in each group of rats was measured regularly before and after surgery.The expressions of BDNF and tyrosine kinase receptor B(TrkB)mRNA in TGs of rats in different groups were determined by real-time PCR,and the expression of BDNF protein on neurons in TGs was observed by immunofluorescence.Western Blotting was used to detect the protein expression of BDNF,TrkB,extracellular regulated protein kinases(ERK),and phospho-extracellular regulated protein kinases(p-ERK)in TGs of rats in different groups.The expression of BDNF in the serum of rats in different groups was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). Results:The results of mechanical pain sensitivity showed that there was no significant difference in the mechanical pain threshold in the right facial sensory area of the experimental rats in each group before surgery(all P>0.05).From the 3rd day after operation,the mechanical pain threshold of rats in the TN group was significantly lower than that in the sham group(all P<0.01),and the mechanical pain threshold of rats in the TN+80 mg/kg CBZ group,the TN+40 mg/kg CBZ group,and the TN+20 CBZ mg/kg group was higher than that in the TN group(all P<0.05).The BDNF and TrkB mRNA and protein expressions in TGs of rats in the TN group were higher than those in the sham group(all P<0.05),and those in the TN+80 mg/kg CBZ group,the TN+40 mg/kg CBZ group,and the TN+20 mg/kg CBZ group were lower than the TN group(all P<0.05).The p-ERK levels in TG of rats in the TN+80 mg/kg CBZ group,the TN+40 mg/kg CBZ group,and the TN+20 mg/kg CBZ group were significantly decreased compared with the TN group(all P<0.05).The BDNF and neuron-specific nuclear protein(NeuN)were mainly co-expressed in neuron of TGs in the TN group and they were significantly higher than those in the sham group(all P<0.05).The co-labeled expressions of BDNF and NeuN in TGs of the TN+ 80 mg/kg CBZ group,the TN+40 mg/kg CBZ group,and the TN+20 mg/kg CBZ group were lower than those in the TN group(all P<0.05).The results of ELISA showed that the level of BDNF in the serum of the TN group was significantly higher than that in the sham group(P<0.05).The levels of BDNF in the TN+80 mg/kg CBZ group,the TN+40 mg/kg CBZ group,and the TN+20 mg/kg CBZ group were lower than those in the TN group(all P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that the BDNF level in serum was negatively correlated with mechanical pain threshold(r=-0.650,P<0.01). Conclusion:CBZ treatment can inhibit the expression of BDNF and TrkB in the TGs of TN rats,reduce the level of BDNF in serum of TN rats and the phosphorylation of ERK signaling pathway,so as to inhibit TN.The serum level of BDNF can be considered as an indicator for the diagnosis and prognosis of TN.
