Objective To compare the effect of sodium hualuronate(SH)and platelet rich plasma(PRP)injections in the treatment of glenohumeral joint osteoarthritis(GJO).Methods Sixty-three patients with GJO were randomly assigned to receive either PRP(PRP group,n=29)or SH(SH group,n=34)injec-tions.The injections were administered into the glenohumeral joint under ultrasound guidance. The patients were assessed by the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons(ASES)score and modified University of California(UCLA)shoulder joint score before injection and at 1,6,12 months of injection. Results There were no statistically significant differences in the general data between the two groups(P>0.05).Compared with before injection, the VAS scores at 1,6,and 12 months after injection in the two groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05).The VAS score at 12 months after injection in the SH group was significantly increased(P<0.05).The VAS score at 12 months after injection in the PRP group was lower than that in the SH group(P<0.05).The ASES scores showed a significant increase at 1 month after injection compared to before treatment(P<0.05),moreover the ASES scores at 6 months after injection in the PRP group were higher than those in the SH group(P<0.05).Compared with before injection, the modified UCLA shoulder joint scores at 1,6 months after injection in the two groups were significantly in-creased(P<0.05),moreover the scores of the modified UCLA shouder joint scores at 6 months after injec-tion in the PRP group were higher than those in the SH group(P<0.05).Conclusion Pain relief in intraar-ticular injection of PRP in GJO patients is more significant than intraarticular injection of SH,moreover PRP is significantly superior to SH in improving the shoulder joint function of the patients.

The changes in intestinal flora are usually associated with different gastrointestinal diseases, and intestinal flora homeostasis can enhance immune tolerance and regulate intestinal immune balance.Previous studies have found that the increase of the relative abundance of Bacteroides fragilis (B.fragilis) in Bacteroides intestinalis can significantly enhance the expression of intestinal regulatory T cells (Treg) and anti-inflammatory cytokines, thus alleviating intestinal inflammation. However, the mechanism of B.fragilis regulating intestinal immunity is still unclear. In this study, an acute colitis model was constructed by giving 3% DSS in drinking water solution to SPF-grade C57BL/6 mice for 7 days, and exogenous supplementation B.fragilis was given to mice by gastric gavage to study its regulatory effect on intestinal immunity and its mechanism of action. The results showed that B.fragilis could improve the intestinal flora disorder in mice with colitis and increase the content of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), the main metabolite of the intestinal flora.By extracting mouse tissue lymphocytes, naive CD4+ T cells, and liposome-modified siRNA knockdown mouse Smad3, it was further discovered by flow cytometry that B.fragilis induced the expression of intestinal Treg cells and related cytokines through the TGF-β/Smad3 signaling pathway, which enhanced intestinal regulatory immunity and alleviated colitis. It was also found that B.fragilis activated TGF-β by increasing the expression of reactive oxygen species (ROS), thus inducing Treg cell differentiation and playing an immunomodulatory role.

Treatment of H.pylor(Hp)-relatedgastropathy with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) therapy has prominent advantages. Integration of traditional and western medicine can remarkably increase negative conversion ratio, reduce drug resistance rate and effectively decrease adverse reactions and recurrence rate. This paper summarized the research progress of the treatment for Hp-related gastropathy and related mechanism with TCM recently. The content included the aspects of theory, treatment and anti-Hp mechanism of Hp-related gastropathy in TCM, in order to provide relevant reference for clinical medication and scientific research direction in future .

Objective To evaluate the safety and efficacy of combining radiofrequency ablation(RFA) with arsenious acid(AA) locally to treat liver VX2 tumor in rabbits, and to explore its mechanism. Methods Twenty-eight New Zealand White rabbits with implanted liver VX2 tumors were randomly divided into four groups: control group(n= 7),AA group(n=7),RFA group(n=7),and combination(RFA+AA) group(n=7).ALT was measured before treatment and on the day 0,day 3,day 7 and day 14 after treatment, meanwhile ultrasonic(US) examination was performed. All rabbits were killed 14 days after treatment.Vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) was examined by immunohistochemistry, and the relationship of VEGF and gross tumor volume was analyzed. Results Combination(RAF+AA) therapy caused little damage to hepatic function but had better inhibited tumor growth. The level of VEGF in AA,RFA and RAF+AA group was lower than that of the control group(P
