Objective To explore the correlation between central venous oxygen saturation(ScvO2)-re-lated indexes at different time points and the occurrence of low cardiac output syndrome(LCOS)after con-genital heart disease(CHD)correction surgery.Methods A total of 73 children who underwent CHD correc-tion surgery in this hospital from July 1st,2021 to July 1st,2024 were selected as the research subjects.The clinical data,preoperative conditions,and postoperative conditions of the children were collected.The ScvO2 and arterial lactate(Lac)levels of the children at different time points(the 1st,6th,12th,and 24th hours after surgery)were monitored,and the ScvO2/Lac at different time points and the change rate of ScvO2 in different time periods were calculated.The correlation between ScvO2-related indexes and LCOS after CHD correction surgery was analyzed.Results ScvO2 at the 6th hour after surgery,ScvO2 at the 12th hour after surgery,Sc-vO2/Lac at the 12th hour after surgery,the change rate of ScvO2 from the 1st to the 24th hour after surgery,the change rate of ScvO2 from the 6th to the 12th hour after surgery,and the change rate of ScvO2 from the 12th to the 24th hour after surgery were independent influencing factors of LCOS occurrence after CHD cor-rection surgery(P＜0.05).There was a negative correlation between ScvO2 at the 12th hour after surgery,ScvO2/Lac and LCOS occurrence after CHD correction surgery(r=-0.543,-0.523,P＜0.05).The area under the curve(AUC)of ScvO2 at the 12th hour after surgery for predicting LCOS occurrence after CHD correction surgery was 0.938(95％CI:0.865-1.000);the AUC of ScvO2/Lac at the 12th hour after surgery for predicting LCOS occurrence after CHD correction surgery was 0.922(95％CI:0.851-0.994).Conclusion ScvO2 and ScvO2/Lac at the 12th hour after surgery have good predictive potential for LCOS occurrence af-ter CHD correction surgery.

Objective To investigate the detection conditions,risk factors and preventive measures of colorectal polyps in health examination population undergoing painless colonoscopy.Methods A total of 2 680 people who underwent painless colonoscopy at the Health Management Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Naval Medical University from January to December 2023 were enrolled in this retrospective study.They were assigned into polyp group and non-polyp group according the examination results.The general information of the two groups was collected to explore the risk factors of colorectal polyps,so as to provide reference for the prevention strategy of colorectal polyps.Results The colorectal polyps were detected in 1 223 people(45.63%),including 633 cases(51.76%)of adenomatous polyps,587 cases(48.00%)of non-adenomatous polyps,and 3 cases(0.25%)of colorectal cancer.Logistic regression analysis indicated that male,smoking history,alcohol drinking history,age 40-59 years old,hyperlipidemia,and CRP>10 mg/L were risk factors of colorectal polyps(P<0.05).Conclusion There is a high detection rate of colorectal polyps in physical examination population.Men,aged 40-59 years old,hyperlipidemia,smoking history,alcohol drinking history,and CRP>10 mg/L are high risk factors of colorectal polyps,which should be paid more attention for the prevention and monitoring of colorectal polyps.

Objective:The high-quality clinical studies published in the field of hypertriglyceridemia associated acute pancreatitis (HTG-AP) were summarized to analyze the incidence and trends of HTG-AP in China.Methods:Clinical studies related to acute pancreatitis in PubMed, Medline, Cochrane Library and Web of Science from January 1, 2000 to November 12, 2021 were searched and screened. Keywords included China, acute pancreatitis, and clinical study. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, related literature were accurately selected and evaluated before extracting data. Meta-analysis was performed using R4.2 and RevMan5.3 software. The effect sizes of annual average percentage change (AAPC) for acute pancreatitis in different regions were merged and forest plot was drawn. Patients were divided into severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) group, moderately severe acute pancreatitis (MSAP) group and mild acute pancreatitis (MAP) group, and forest plot was drawn to analyze the AAPC of HTG-AP. Regression curve for time-dependent changes in the percentage of AP with different etiological factors was constructed.Results:Totally, 67 articles (33 randomized clinical trials, 34 retrospective cohort study) and 30 421 patients were included. The meta-analysis showed that the proportion of HTG-AP among AP patients was increasing over the past 20 years, with an AAPC of 0.52% (95% CI 0.34-1.39). In subgroup analyses, the proportion of HTG-AP in SAP and MSAP group both increased significantly, with the AAPC of 0.74% (95% CI 0.23-1.24) and 3.12% (95% CI 1.62-4.63), respectively. Furthermore, the proportion of HTG-AP among AP patients has shown an upward trend over the past 20 years with faster speed. The proportion of biliary pancreatitis among AP patients has also shown an upward trend, with the rate of increase gradually slowed. The proportion of alcohol-associated pancreatitis among AP patients has remained stable. Conclusions:Since 2000, the incidence proportion of HTG-AP has significantly increased in China with the rate of increase gradually quicker.

Objective To view and compare the clinical characteristics of renal tubular acidosis in adults and children.Methods Clinical data of patients with renal tubular acidosis diagnosed by Shandong Provincial Hospital affiliated to Shandong University from Jan 1991 to Sep 2017 were reviewed.The difference and consistency in clinical characteristics of renal tubular acidosis between adults and children were analyzed.Results Data from 206 adults and 60 children were analyzed.89.81％ cases in adults were secondary to other diseases,mainly primary Sjogren's syndrome.Most children patients (81.67％) were idiopathic,others largely originated from inherited metabolic diseases.The most common subtype of both was distal renal tubular acidosis.Proximal renal tubular acidosis was easier to be found in idiopathic renal tubular diseases of children.Chief complaints or starting symptoms were mainly composed of polydipsia with polyuria (41.4％) and fatigue (35.3％).Children were typical of growth retardation,rickets and digestive symptoms.The rate of missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis was 41.4 percent.Routine therapy consisted of healing metabolic acidosis and electrolyte disorders,treating underlying diseases and preventing complications.The majority of patients (95.5％) improved after treatments.Conclusions Renal tubular acidosis possesses various underlying diseases,diverse clinical manifestation and high rate of misdiagnosis.Given the high incident of secondary types,investigation of underlying disease,especially autoimmune diseases such as Sjogren's syndrome,is of great importance in adults.Most children patients suffer from primary renal tubular acidosis.Attention should be paid to them in order to reduce the rate of misdiagnosis and teratogenicity.

Objective To investigate the application value of virtual touch tissue quantification (VTQ) technique in staging of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Methods VTQ examination was performed on a random sample of 96 CKD patients at different clinical stages and 45 healthy volunteers (control group). Shear wave velocity (SWV) of renal parenchyma was measured and compared. Correlation between SWV and clinical stage and glomeru-lar filtration rate (GFR) of CKD patients was analyzed. Results The SWV value of renal parenchyma decreased gradually, along with the progression of CKD disease and impairment of renal function. There was no significant difference(P>0.05)between the control group and the CKD1 group ( P=0.061), the CKD2 group and the CKD3 group (P = 0.238), and the CKD4 group and the CKD5 group (P = 0.624). The difference of SWV between the remaining groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05). SWV of renal parenchyma was negatively correlated with CKD stage (r =-0.65, P < 0.001), which means the higher the stage of CKD was associated with the lower the SWV. SWV was positively correlated with GFR (r = 0.73, P < 0.001), which means the lower the GFR was related to the lower the SWV. Conclusion VTQ technique can noninvasively reflect the changes of renal parenchyma elas-ticity and evaluate the impairment of renal function in CKD patients. It can provide a new quantitative evaluation index for the clinical staging of CKD.
