Objective: To explore the relationship between sleep characteristics, physical activity patterns, with depressive and anxiety symptoms in college students, so as to provide reference for student mental health promotion. Methods: From September to November 2023, a convenience sampling method was used to select 7 954 college students aged 18-22 years from 9 universities in Shanghai, Hubei, and Jiangxi. Assessments were conducted using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire Short-Form (IPAQ-SF), Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale-7 (GAD-7), and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) to evaluate physical activity, depressive and anxiety symptoms, and sleep quality, respectively. Logistic regression analysis was employed to explore the impact of sleep characteristics and physical activity patterns on depressive and anxiety symptoms and their comorbidity among college students. Results: The detection rates for depressive symptoms, anxiety symptoms, and comorbid depression and anxiety symptoms were 25.67%, 35.39%, and 23.15%, respectively. Factors such as gender, grade, household registration, parental education level, annual family income, family structure, and dietary habits were all associated with the detection rates of depressive and anxiety symptoms and their comorbidity (χ2=4.41-118.39, P<0.05). Physical activity patterns, sleep duration, sleep quality, and sleepwake characteristics were also associated with the occurrence of depressive and anxiety symptoms and their comorbidity (χ2=9.66-627.70, P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that college students who stayed up late and slept less than 7 had the highest risk of depressive and anxiety symptoms and their comorbidity (OR=1.93, 1.85, 1.88, P<0.05). Compared to regular physical activity patterns, insufficient physical activity patterns were associated with an increased risk of depressive and anxiety symptoms (all OR=1.18, P<0.05). Further stratified analysis results showed that the risk of depression, anxiety and their comorbidity increased in college students who stayed up late and slept less than 7 h, went to bed before midnight and slept less than 7 h, or went to bed before midnight and slept more than 7 h but did not have sufficient physical activity (P<0.05). Conclusions Sleep characteristics and physical activity patterns significantly affect depressive and anxiety symptoms in college students. Universities should strengthen sleep management and implement flexible physical activity interventions to help students establish healthy lifestyles.

Objective: To explore the long term trend of forced vital capacity to weight index (FWI) among Chinese Han students aged 7-18 from 2000 to 2019, and to predict its changes over the next decade, so as to provide scientific evidences for targeted health interventions and school health policies. Methods: Based on the data of the five Chinese National Surveys on Students Constitution and Health conducted from 2000 to 2019, a total of 216 500, 233 565, 215 267, 214 256 and 212 632 Han students aged 7-18 were included, respectively. The long term trend of FWI among students was analyzed, and the GM (1,1) grey model was used to predict FWI changes over the next decade. Subgroup analyses were conducted by sex, age, and urban-rural residence. Results: The FWI levels of Chinese Han students aged 7-18 were (55.30±11.47)(47.43±11.92)(48.11±12.46)(48.75±12.81)(50.93±13.11)mL/kg in 2000, 2005, 2010, 2014, and 2019, respectively. The FWI of Chinese Han students showed a decreasing then increasing trend from 2000 to 2019, reaching the lowest point of approximately 47.03 mL/kg around 2006, and was projected to recover to 52.88 mL/kg by 2029. Boys had higher FWI for each year and the total level than girls from 2000 to 2019( t =72.58-304.66), and the decline between 2000 and 2005 was smaller in boys (13.1%) than in girls (15.4%). However, the gender gap gradually narrowed and was projected to reduce to 5.36 mL/kg by 2029. FWI increased with age, with the largest difference observed in 2014 between the 7-9 and 16-18 age groups (8.62 mL/kg). Before 2014, urban boys had slightly lower FWI than rural boys; the gap narrowed thereafter, and their FWI levels were expected to become similar by 2029. Urban girls generally had higher FWI than rural girls, and the urban-rural gap showed an increasing trend. By 2029, the largest difference was projected to occur in the 13-15 age group, reaching 7.74 mL/kg. Conclusions The FWI of Chinese Han students showed a trend of initial decline followed by a gradual increase from 2000 to 2019, with notable differences across sex, age, and urban-rural residence. Greater attention should be paid to the respiratory health of rural girls, and effective measures should be taken to reduce urban-rural disparities.

Liver transplantation (LT) has become a standard treatment for end-stage liver diseases, and graft injury is intricately associated with poor prognosis. Granzyme B (GZMB) plays a vital role in natural killer (NK) cell biology, but whether NK-derived GZMB affects graft injury remains elusive. Through the analysis of single-cell RNA-sequencing data obtained from human LT grafts and the isolation of lymphocytes from mouse livers following ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI), we demonstrated that 2NK cells with high expression of GZMB are enriched in patients and mice. Both systemically and liver-targeted depletion of NK cells led to a notable reduction in GZMB⁺ cell infiltration, subsequently resulting in diminished graft injury. Notably, the reconstitution of Il2rg ^-/- Rag2 ^-/- mice with purified Gzmb-KO NK cells demonstrated superior outcomes compared to those with wild-type NK cells. Crucially, global knockout of GZMB and pharmacological inhibition exhibited remarkable improvements in liver function in both mouse IRI and rat LT models. Moreover, a phosphorylated derivative of FDA-approved vidarabine was identified as an effective inhibitor of mouse GZMB activity by molecular dynamics, which could provide a potential avenue for therapeutic intervention. Therefore, targeting NK cell-derived GZMB during the LT process suggests potential therapeutic strategies to improve post-transplant outcomes.

Objective:To explore the effect of ubiquitin-specific protease 42(USP42)on osteogenic differentiation of human adipose-derived stem cells(hASCs)in vivo and in vitro.Methods:A combina-tion of experiments was carried out with genetic depletion of USP42 using a lentiviral strategy.Alkaline phosphatase(ALP)staining and quantification,alizarin red S(ARS)staining and quantification were used to determine the osteogenic differentiation ability of hASCs under osteogenic induction between the experimental group(knockdown group and overexpression group)and the control group.Quantitative re-verse transcription PCR(qRT-PCR)was used to detect the expression levels of osteogenesis related genes in the experimental group and control group,and Western blotting was used to detect the expression levels of osteogenesis related proteins in the experimental group and control group.Nude mice ectopic im-plantation experiment was used to evaluate the effect of USP42 on the osteogenic differentiation of hASCs in vivo.Results:The mRNA and protein expressions of USP42 in knockdown group were significantly lower than those in control group,and those in overexpression group were significantly higher than those in control group.After 7 days of osteogenic induction,the ALP activity in the knockdown group was sig-nificantly higher than that in the control group,and ALP activity in overexpression group was significantly lower than that in control group.After 14 days of osteogenic induction,ARS staining was significantly deeper in the knockdown group than in the control group,and significantly lighter in overexpression group than in the control group.The results of qRT-PCR showed that the mRNA expression levels of ALP,os-terix(OSX)and collagen type Ⅰ(COL Ⅰ)in the knockdown group were significantly higher than those in the control group after 14 days of osteogenic induction,and those in overexpression group were signifi-cantly lower than those in control group.The results of Western blotting showed that the expression levels of runt-related transcription factor 2(RUNX2),OSX and COL Ⅰ in the knockout group were significant-ly higher than those in the control group at 14 days after osteogenic induction,while the expression levels of RUNX2,OSX and COL Ⅰ in the overexpression group were significantly lower than those in the control group.Hematoxylin-eosin staining of subcutaneous grafts in nude mice showed that the percentage of osteoid area in the knockdown group was significantly higher than that in the control group.Conclusion:Knockdown of USP42 can significantly promote the osteogenic differentiation of hASCs in vitro and in vi-vo,and overexpression of USP42 significantly inhibits in vivo osteogenic differentiation of hASCs,and USP42 can provide a potential therapeutic target for bone tissue engineering.

177Lu-prostate specific membrane antigen(PSMA)radio-ligand therapy has been approved abroad for advanced prostate cancer and has been in several clinical trials in China.Based on domestic clinical practice and experimental data and referred to international experience and viewpoints,the expert group forms a consensus on the clinical application of 177Lu-PSMA radio-ligand therapy in prostate cancer to guide clinical practice.

Objective:Methamphetamine(METH)is an illicit psychoactive substance that can damage various organs,with the urinary system being one of its significant targets.This study aims to explore the role of microtubule affinity-regulating kinase 4(MARK4)in METH-induced acute kidney injury(AKI). Methods:A total of 10 healthy adult male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into a control group and a METH group,5 mice in each group.The METH group was administered METH(20 mg/kg,intraperitoneally,once daily for 3 consecutive days),while the control group received an equal volume of physiological saline.The mice were executed 24 hours after the final injection,and the success of the AKI model was detected by blood serum creatinine,blood urea nitrogen,and renal HE staining.Proteins differentially expressed between kidney tissues with METH-induced AKI and normal kidney tissues were screened by proteomics techniques and subjected to gene ontology(GO),Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)and bioinformatics analysis.The accuracy of proteomic data was validated using Western blotting,and the expression levels of MARK4 and cleaved caspase-3 in mouse kidneys were measured.We further explored the role of MARK4 in METH-induced AKI.Firstly,a METH toxicity model was established in BUMPT cells to screen the appropriate concentration and time of METH treatment;the viability of BUMPT cells after METH treatment and the expression of cleaved caspase-3 were detected by interfering with MARK4 expression through inhibitors. Results:The proteomic analysis of kidney tissues from METH and control groups screened for a total of 17 differentially expressed proteins,of which 11 were up-regulated and 6 were down-regulated(all P＜0.05).The expression levels of MARK4 and cleaved caspase-3 were elevated in the kidneys of METH-treated mice(both P＜0.05).The activity of BUMPT cells gradually decreased with increasing METH treatment concentration(all P＜0.05),where the viability of BUMPT cells decreased to about 60％after METH treatment at 4 mmol/L.Compared with the control group,expression levels of MARK4 and cleaved caspase-3 were increased with higher METH concentrations and longer exposure times in a concentration-and time-dependent manner(all P＜0.05).Inhibition of MARK4 expression improved METH-induced decrease in BUMPT cell activity,down-regulated the expression of cleaved caspase-3,and decreased the apoptosis of BUMPT cells induced by METH. Conclusion:MARK4 is highly expressed in a mouse model of METH-induced AKI,and MARK4 mediates METH-induced AKI by regulating cell apoptosis.

Objective To explore the levels of plasma complement factor H(CFH)in peritoneal dialysis(PD)patients and its judging value for prognosis.Methods Eighty-two PD patients followed up by the Department of Nephrology,The Second Affiliated Hospital of Naval Medical University were included in the study.Patients were divided by the CFH levels based on immunoassay turbidimetric detection into low H factor group(＜320 μg/mL,n=41)and high H factor group(＞320 μg/mL,n=41),while 82 healthy individuals matched by gender and age were selected as the healthy control group.The correlation between plasma CFH and laboratory results,complications,and prognosis in PD patients was analyzed over a 3-year follow-up.Results There were no differences between the two groups in terms of gender,age,dialysis duration,urine output,and dialysis adequacy,whereas the plasma albumin,total protein and cholesterol were significantly lower in the low CFH group compared with the patients in the high CFH group(P＜0.05).During the 3-year follow-up,the incidence of peritonitis was significantly higher in the low CFH group than in the high CFH group(P＜0.05).Multivariate regression analysis further confirmed that low CFH level was an independent risk factor for the development of PD associated peritonitis(OR=4.24,95%CI 1.18-15.33).Conclusions Reduced levels of plasma CFH in PD patients might suggest the increased risk of hypoalbuminemia and PD-associated peritonitis.

Traumatic supraorbital fissure syndrome (TSOFS) is a symptom complex caused by nerve entrapment in the supraorbital fissure after skull base trauma. If the compressed cranial nerve in the supraorbital fissure is not decompressed surgically, ptosis, diplopia and eye movement disorder may exist for a long time and seriously affect the patients′ quality of life. Since its overall incidence is not high, it is not familiarized with the majority of neurosurgeons and some TSOFS may be complicated with skull base vascular injury. If the supraorbital fissure surgery is performed without treatment of vascular injury, it may cause massive hemorrhage, and disability and even life-threatening in severe cases. At present, there is no consensus or guideline on the diagnosis and treatment of TSOFS that can be referred to both domestically and internationally. To improve the understanding of TSOFS among clinical physicians and establish standardized diagnosis and treatment plans, the Skull Base Trauma Group of the Neurorepair Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Neurotrauma Group of the Neurosurgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Neurotrauma Group of the Traumatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and Editorial Committee of Chinese Journal of Trauma organized relevant experts to formulate Chinese expert consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic supraorbital fissure syndrome ( version 2024) based on evidence of evidence-based medicine and clinical experience of diagnosis and treatment. This consensus puts forward 12 recommendations on the diagnosis, classification, treatment, efficacy evaluation and follow-up of TSOFS, aiming to provide references for neurosurgeons from hospitals of all levels to standardize the diagnosis and treatment of TSOFS.

Radiopharmaceuticals are the cornerstone of molecular imaging and precision medicine, which play a huge role in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors, central nervous system diseases, cardiovascular and other diseases. On the basis of summarizing the advantages of radiopharmaceuticals and analyzing the development status at home and abroad, this article specifically introduces the general process of radiopharmaceutical research and development, and analyzes the key points of research and development. Finally, the future development of radiopharmaceuticals is prospected, with a view to providing reference for practitioners in fields related to the creation of new radiopharmaceuticals and accelerating the radiopharmaceutical development in China.

Acute pancreatitis-associated ascites fluid (PAAF) is a common complication in patients with acute pancreatitis (AP) and is closely associated with the severity of AP, the development of local and systemic complications, and prognosis. PAAF may originate from the leakage of abdominal blood vessels, lymphatic vessels, and pancreatic duct. Recent studies have found that early removal of PAAF by abdominal paracentesis drainage can help to reduce systemic inflammation and alleviate pancreatitis-associated organ injury, thereby improving the conditions of patients with severe AP and reducing mortality. However, it is still not completely clear how PAAF aggravates systemic inflammatory response, participates in pancreatic injury and damage of distal organs, and leads to the aggravation of disease conditions in patients with AP. Therefore, this article gives an overview of PAAF and summarizes related studies in recent years, so as to provide directions for exploring the pathophysiological process and treatment of AP.
