Objective:To evaluate the performance of three mainstream large language models (LLMs) in the review of drug reimbursement indications in hospitals, and to explore their potential in improving audit quality and efficiency, thereby safeguarding the medical insurance fund. Methods:A total of 3 247 outpatient prescription records were retrospectively collected from a specialized oncology hospital between January 2, 2022, and June 30, 2023. Manual assessment of the consistency between clinical diagnoses and drug reimbursement indications was used as the gold standard. Three LLMs, Baidu′s ERNIE Bot, Alibaba′s Tongyi Qianwen, and OpenAI′s ChatGPT-4o, were evaluated on the same task. Performance metrics included accuracy, precision, sensitivity, specificity, F1 score, and area under the curve (AUC).Results:The ERNIE Bot model returned 3 242 valid data, which took 314 min; The Tongyi Qianwen model returned a total of 3 162 valid data, taking 384 min; The ChatGPT-4o model returned a total of 3 218 valid data, taking 150 min. ChatGPT-4o demonstrated the best performance, with an accuracy of 88.41%, precision of 60.48%, sensitivity of 78.75%, specificity of 90.24%, F1 score of 0.68, and an AUC of 0.88.Conclusions:LLMs demonstrate stable performance in determining whether prescriptions align with reimbursement indications, with ChatGPT-4o approaching human-level accuracy and exhibiting more conservative specificity. These findings suggest that LLMs have practical value as auxiliary tools in drug indication reviews, contributing to improved audit efficiency and more refined management of medical insurance funds.

Acupuncture and moxibustion have their unique advantages in treating tumors, but the theoretical framework of acupuncture and moxibustion intervention in tumors needs to be improved, and the academic system still needs to be sorted out.In this paper,we try to describe the commonalities between Chinese medical theories and modern medical technologies in order to consolidate the theoretical foundation of acupuncture intervention in tumor.Specifically:① Acupuncture regulates immune function and energy metabolism, which is a specific form of tonifying the spleen and stomach to support positive qi.② Tumors belong to the broad definition of"sores and ulcers"in traditional Chinese medicine, which is a special kind of chronic inflammation, and acupuncture intervenes in tumors by intervening in inflammatory reactions from ulcers.③ Tumor is a"dynamic pseudo-organ"with yin and yang attributes and"life attributes".Acupuncture and moxibustion can regulate various cells and factors in the tumor environment in a multi-targeted way,so as to make it tend to the state of yin and yang equilibrium.④ Acupuncture and moxibustion have unique advantages in the reduction of toxicity, enhancement of efficacy, tonicity, rejuvenation, treatment of complications, etc.,which complement the allopathic therapies of modern medicine, and can help to realize survival with tumors.

Depression is a mental disorder char-acterized by mood disturbances that pose a signifi-cant threat to human mental and physical health. In recent years, the farnesoid X receptor(FXR)has been found to be expressed in brain regions such as the hippocampus and is closely related to the onset of depression. It can also affect the down-stream target cAMP response element binding pro-tein(CREB)-brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)signaling pathway, holding promise as a new target for the treatment of depression. This ar-ticle analyzes how hippocampal FXR regulates the CREB-BDNF signaling pathway and summarizes the latest research progress related to the pathogene-sis of depression, with the aim of providing precise targeted ideas for the drug development and clini-cal treatment of depression.

OBJECTIVE
To compare the anti-thymic atrophy effects of petroleum ether(PEE), ethyl acetate(EAE), n-butanol(BE) and water extract(WE) fractions from root tubers of Tetrastigma hemsleyanum Diels et. Gilg based on mice thymic atrophy model established by intraperitoneal injection of PolyI:C to preliminarily investigate the mechanisms of its effects.
METHODS
One hunderd ICR mice were randomly divided into 10 groups: control group, model group, low- and high-dose groups of the four extract fractions, with 10 mice in each group. The control group and model group were given equal volume of purified water and gavaged for 10 d. Starting on the 9th day, PolyI:C solution of 16 mg·kg−1 was injected intraperitoneally for 2 consecutive days, except for the control group, which was injected intraperitoneally with physiological saline. Samples of thymics were weighed and and visceral index was calculated, blood samples were taken for analysis of IL-2, TNF-α and WBC, thymic histopathology was analyzed using hematoxylin-eosin staining, Western blotting was performed to detect the expression of TNF-α, p-NF-κB and NF-κB.
RESULTS
Compared with the model group, all groups of extracts could enhance the thymus weight and thymus index, as well as the cortex and medulla area ratio and the number of thymic corpuscles in 1 mm2 of medulla to different degrees, and at the same time, significantly reduce the level of TNF-α in plasma, evidently inhibited the phosphorylation of NF-κB, and reduced the protein expression of TNF-α, and each of them having distinct advantages and disadvantages. Peripheral blood white blood cell, lymphocyte absolute count and lymphocyte percentage were elevated in the low-dose WE group, low-dose EAE group and high dose PEE group, IL-2 levels were significantly elevated in the low-dose WE group and high dose BE group, and these effects were particularly well demonstrated.
CONCLUSION
Four extracts from root tubers of Tetrastigma Hemsleyanum Diels et. Gilg can improve morphological changes and atrophy of the thymus tissue in different degrees, regulate of peripheral blood leukocyte imbalance in post-modeling mice, it may be related to the inhibition of PolyI:C-induced phosphorylation of the NF-κB and reduction of protein expression of pro-inflammatory factors.
