BACKGROUND:The regulation of intestinal flora by exercise is closely related to human health, but intestinal flora involves many factors.Existing studies have lacked consistent evidence on the effect of exercise on the intestinal flora of college students. OBJECTIVE:To explore the effects of exercise on intestinal flora diversity and species composition of college students. METHODS:Through systematic search of PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,Medline,Cochrane Library,CNKI,WanFang Database and VIP database, eight empirical studies were selected and included, and semi-quantitative analysis was performed on them. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:In terms of the species diversity of the intestinal flora, both high-intensity interval training and Tai Chi exercise significantly enhance the species diversity of intestinal flora in college students, while aerobic exercise does not have a significant effect on the enhancement of intestinal flora diversity in college students. In terms of the species composition of the intestinal flora, all three exercise modalities significantly alter the compositional structure of the intestinal flora in college students, which can increase the abundance of beneficial bacteria such as Ruminalococcus,Faecalis prevotelli,Blautia, and decrease the abundance of harmful bacteria such as Escherichia spp.Compared with high-intensity interval training, aerobic and Tai Chi exercise causes more elevated abundance of beneficial bacteria. In addition to changes in intestinal flora characteristics, exercise improves body composition, cardiorespiratory function, and executive function in college students, and these health benefits are closely linked to exercise-induced changes in intestinal flora that can produce health benefits for the body through metabolic regulation, barrier function, and neuromodulation.Although studies have confirmed the association between exercise and intestinal flora, the mechanism by which exercise affects intestinal flora has not yet been clarified, and at the same time, localizing the flora related to the host health is the key to targeting intestinal flora as a therapeutic target in the future, all of which are worthy of further attention and investigation.

With the rapid development of social economy and the continuous improvement of human living standard, the incidence, fatality and recurrence rates of cardiovascular disease (CVD) are increasing year by year, which seriously affects people's life and health. Conventional therapeutic drugs have limited improvement on the disability rate, so the search for new therapeutic drugs and action targets has become one of the hotspots of current research. In recent years, the therapeutic role of the natural compound rosmarinic acid (RA) in CVD has attracted much attention, which is capable of preventing CVD by modulating multiple signalling pathways and exerting physiological activities such as antioxidant, anti-apoptotic, anti-inflammatory, anti-platelet aggregation, as well as anti-coagulation and endothelial function protection. In this paper, the role of RA in the prevention of CVD is systematically sorted out, and its mechanism of action is summarised and analysed, with a view to providing a scientific basis and important support for the in-depth exploration of the prevention value of RA in CVD and its further development as a prevention drug.

OBJECTIVE To establish a method for determining the contents of clopidogrel (CLP), clopidogrel carboxylate (CLP-C), clopidogrel acyl-β-D-glucuronide (CLP-G) and contents of clopidogrel active metabolite (CAM) in rat plasma, and to investigate their in vivo pharmacokinetic characteristics. METHODS The Shisedo CAPCELL ADME column was used with a mobile phase consisting of water and acetonitrile (both containing 0.1% formic acid) in a gradient elution. The flow rate was 0.4 mL/min, and the column temperature was maintained at 20 ℃. The injection volume was 2 μL. The analysis was performed in positive ion mode using electrospray ionization with multiple reaction monitoring. The ion pairs for quantitative analysis were m/z 322.1→211.9 (for CLP), m/z 308.1→197.9 (for CLP-C), m/z 322.1→154.8 (for CLP-G), m/z 504.1→154.9 [for racemic CAM derivative (CAMD)]. Six rats were administered a single intragastric dose of CLP (10 mg/kg). Blood samples were collected before medication and at 0.08, 0.33, 0.66, 1, 2, 4, 6, 10, 23 and 35 hours after medication. The established method was used to detect the serum contents of various components in rats. Pharmacokinetic parameters were then calculated using WinNonlin 6.1 software. RESULTS The linear ranges for CLP, CLP-C and CAMD were 0.08-20.00, 205.00-8 000.00, and 0.04-25.00 ng/mL, respectively (r≥0.990). The relative standard deviations for both intra-day and inter-day precision tests were all less than 15%, and the relative errors for accuracy ranged from -11.68% to 14.40%. The coefficients of variation for the matrix factors were all less than 15%, meeting the requirements for bioanalytical method validation. The results of the pharmacokinetic study revealed that, following a single intagastric administration of CLP in rats, the exposure to the parent CLP in plasma was extremely low. Both the area under the drug concentration-time curve (AUC0-35 h) and the peak concentration of the parent CLP were lower than those of its metabolites. The AUC0-35 h of the active metabolite CAM was approximately 43 times that of CLP, though it had a shorter half-life (2.53 h). The inactive metabolite CLP-C exhibited the highest exposure level, but it reached its peak concentration the latest and was eliminated slowly. The AUC0-35 h of CLP-G was about four times that of CAM, and its half-life was similar to that of CLP-C. CONCLUSIONS This study successfully established an liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of CLP and its three metabolites, and revealed their pharmacokinetic characteristics in rats. Specifically, the parent drug CLP was rapidly eliminated, while the inactive metabolites CLP-C and CLP-G exhibited long half-lives, and active metabolite CAM displayed a transient exposure pattern.

MethodsMale SD rats (n=72) were randomly divided into 9 groups, with 8 rats in each group, which were normal group, model group, Yangwei Shu (4 g·kg-1) group, low-, medium-, and high-dose fresh D. huoshanense (3.5, 7, and 14 g·kg-1) groups, and low-, medium-, and high-dose dried D. huoshanense (0.7, 1.4, 2.8 g·kg-1) groups. The CAG rat model was successfully established by inducing with N-methyl-N'-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine (MNNG) and other factors for a total of 11 weeks. Then, the rats were intervened with fresh and dried D. huoshanense for 4 weeks. The serum and gastric tissues of the rats were collected. The changes in gastric juice secretion volume and gastric acid pH value in each group were observed. The gastric mucosal injury was observed by naked eyes and hematoxylin-eosin(HE) staining. The gastric mucus secretion level was determined by Alcian blue and periodic acid-Schiff staining(AB-PAS) staining. The expression levels of tight junction proteins Occludin and ZO-1 in gastric tissues were determined by immunofluorescence. The expression levels of serum pepsinogen Ⅰ (PG Ⅰ), pepsinogen Ⅱ (PG Ⅱ), gastrin 17 (G-17), interleukin-1β (IL-1β), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The expression levels of aquaporin 1 (AQP1), aquaporin 3 (AQP3), and aquaporin 4 (AQP4) in gastric tissues were determined by Western blot. ResultsCompared with the normal group, the model group showed an obviously reduced gastric juice secretion volume (P0.05), significantly increased gastric acid pH value (P0.01), gastric mucosa with obvious atrophy, and a significantly reduced gastric mucus secretion volume (P0.01). The expression of Occludin and ZO-1 in the gastric mucosal barrier was significantly decreased (P0.01). The levels of PG Ⅰ and PG Ⅱ in the serum were obviously decreased (P0.05, P0.01), and the levels of G-17, IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α were significantly increased (P0.01). The expression level of AQP1 in the gastric tissue was significantly upregulated (P0.01), and the expression levels of AQP3 and AQP4 were significantly downregulated (P0.01). Compared with the model group, each drug administration group could improve the gastric mucosal atrophy of CAG model rats to varying degrees, obviously increase the gastric juice secretion volume of the model rats (P0.05, P0.01), significantly decrease the gastric acid pH value (P0.01), obviously increase the gastric mucus secretion volume (P0.05, P0.01), obviously decrease the expression levels of G-17, IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α (P0.05, P0.01), obviously increase the expression levels of Occludin, ZO-1, PG Ⅰ, and PG Ⅱ (P0.05, P0.01), obviously upregulate the expression levels of AQP3 and AQP4 (P0.05, P0.01), and obviously downregulate the expression level of AQP1 (P0.05, P0.01). ConclusionThe water extracts of fresh and dried D. huoshanense can exert therapeutic effects on CAG by improving gastric mucosal injury, reducing inflammation, and regulating water metabolism. Moreover, the dried D. huoshanense has a better effect.

To investigate the epidemiology of avian infectious bronchitis virus(IBV)and study the pathogenicity of IBV isolate,we isolated the IBV field strain from a clinical sample of chickens sus-pected to be infected with infectious bronchitis virus(IBV)from Hefei,Anhui Province, named HF210416.Sequencing analysis of the S1 gene showed that HF210416 belonged to the GI-22 geno-type,which was significantly differed from that of the reference GI-22-type strains, with homology ranging only from 84.5%to 87.8%.Recombinant analysis showed that HF210416 was a recombi-nant strain, with YX10(GI-19)as the major parent and YN(GI-19)as the minor parent.2-day-old SPF chicks infected with the HF210416 isolate showed clinical symptoms such as breathing with difficulty, depression and excreting watery droppings;the infected chicks had a rapid onset of dis-ease,with mortality occurring on the second day of inoculation, and mortality persisted until the fifth day, with 33.33%(5/15)mortality rate. The infected chicks recovered the 14th day after inoculation.RT-PCR detection of pharyngeal-anal swabs showed that the virus shedding by infected chicks could be continuously detected within 14 days of the test period;Enlarged and pale kidney as well as urate deposition in the kidney were observed in infected dead and undead chicks;and the HE staining of histopathological slices showed that the cilia of trachea were removed.Immunohis-tochemistry showed that obvious viral signals were observed in the trachea, lungs, and kidneys. The viral load of various tissues was detected by RT-qPCR and it showed that HF210416 had the high-est replication efficiency in kidney tissues, then in cecum tonsils and trachea. The results of serum neutralization test showed that HF210416 had a better neutralization effect on GI-22 homologous strains, but poorer neutralization effect on other genotypes strains, suggesting that HF210416 is not suitable for vaccine candidate. In conclusion, the GI-22 isolate HF210416 is highly pathogenic and nephrotropic to chicks, and its genomic genetic characteristics and immunogenicity are differ-ent from those of other strains. This study enriches the resources of IBV strains and provides refer-ence data for understanding of the prevalence and pathogenicity of GI-22 genotypes in China.
