Objective To evaluate the safety of the 13-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide conjugate vaccine (tetanus toxoid/diphtheria toxoid) (PCV13-TT/DT) among age-eligible children in Tianjin through a combination of active and passive surveillance methods. Methods From July 15, 2023, to August 31, 2024, active surveillance for adverse events following immunization (AEFI) was conducted among recipients of PCV13-TT/DT at 18 selected vaccination clinics in Tianjin. Recipients were monitored through on-site observation or telephone follow-up within 30 minutes after vaccination and on days 1, 3, 7, and 28. Passive surveillance for AEFI was conducted among recipients of PCV13-TT/DT at other vaccination clinics across the city. The incidence of AEFI was analyzed using descriptive epidemiological methods. Results A total of 24 916 recipients of PCV13-TT/DT were observed, with 440 AEFI cases reported, resulting in an overall incidence rate of 176.59 per 10 000. The incidence rate of AEFI in active surveillance was 813.79 per 10 000, significantly higher than that in passive surveillance (20.49 per 10 000; P< 0.001). The incidence rates of general reactions, abnormal reactions, and coincidental cases in active surveillance were 744.44 per 10 000, 8.16 per 10 000, and 61.19 per 10 000, respectively, all of which were higher than those in passive surveillance (18.49 per 10 000, 0.50 per 10 000, and 1.50 per 10 000), with P values < 0.05. General reactions were mainly characterized by fever, local redness, and local induration. Abnormal reactions included angioedema and allergic rash. Coincidental cases were mainly infections. No severe adverse reactions occurred. Conclusion The large-scale vaccination of PCV13-TT/DT after its launch has good safety, and continuous strengthening of vaccine safety monitoring is needed.

To interpret the evidence-to-decision （EtD） framework and to illustrate its application in traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） guideline development using the example of the Pharmacovigilance Guideline of Chinese Patent Medicine， thereby providing methodological references for TCM guideline standardization. Based on the core three stages of the EtD framework （formulating the question， making an assessment of the evidence， and drawing conclusions）， critical decision points and evaluation evidence within the evidence-translation process were systematically addressed， aligning with the purpose， scope， and key questions of the guideline. Qualitative research methods， such as the nominal group technique， were employed to formulate recommendations. The analysis was conducted based on the EtD framework. During question formulation， the specific characteristics and practical needs of pharmacovigilance for Chinese patent medicines were clarified， focusing on the core objective of safety assurance throughout the product lifecycle. In the evidence assessment， multi-source evidence was integrated， including policy documents， literature research， and expert consensus， completing the evidence evaluation. Finally， in recommendation-forming， dispersed research evidence and expert experience were synthesized into consensus， culminating in the guideline's completion through solicitation of opinions and peer review. The EtD framework provides a structured tool for evidence-to-decision translation in TCM guideline development， effectively enhancing the transparency and scientific rigor of the process. Therefore， it is recommended that TCM guideline development adopt the EtD framework to improve the evidence-to-decision process with TCM characteristics.

The Guidelines for Construction of Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacovigilance Systems in Medical Institutions （T/CACM 1563.2-2024） were the first special guideline in China to systematically assist medical institutions in establishing a pharmacovigilance system tailored to the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）. Therefore， this guideline filled a significant gap in the systemic standards for TCM safety management within medical institutions. Strictly adhering to domestic and international laws and regulations， the guideline compilation involved multiple rounds of expert interviews， systematic evidence integration， and broad consensus. This guideline was specified to be applicable to medical institutions at all levels， primarily addressing core issues， including the difficulty in adverse reaction identification， low reporting rates， and incomplete risk management chains due to the complex composition and diverse application of TCM. The compilation process was scientific and rigorous， ensuring alignment with current national laws and regulations， and was registered internationally. In the future， implementation will be promoted through standardized training， tiered dissemination， as well as a post-effect evaluation and dynamic revision mechanism starting two years after publication. All these aimed to enhance medical institutions' proactive capabilities in preventing and controlling TCM safety risks， ensure patient medication safety， and promote the high-quality development of TCM.

While conventional therapies like radiotherapy， chemotherapy， and surgery are available， problems such as lack of early diagnosis， poor prognosis， and drug resistance remain significant burdens for patients. Given the complex and diverse pathogenesis of colorectal cancer， there is an urgent clinical need for safe， effective， reliable， and multi-targeted therapeutic strategies. The Hippo signaling pathway， closely linked to mechanisms like tumorigenesis， cancer cell invasion， migration， and drug resistance， extensively participates in the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer， so targeting the signaling pathway for cancer prevention and treatment has become a crucial research direction in recent years. Traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） offers multi-faceted， multi-pathway， and multi-target advantages and becomes an important therapy for colorectal cancer by enhancing patients' immunity， improving the life quality， and prolonging survival. Studies show that the active components of TCM， including flavonoids， terpenoids， phenols， alkaloids， quinones， lignans， and saponins， as well as TCM compounds such as modified Sijunzi decoction， Jiedu Sangen decoction， Jianpi Jiedu compound， and Quyu Jiedu decoction， exhibit significant targeting effects on the Hippo signaling pathway. These TCMs can exert an anti-colorectal cancer effect through various mechanisms， such as inducing cancer cell autophagy and apoptosis， inhibiting epithelial-mesenchymal transition， reversing drug resistance of the tumor， and blocking the cancer cell cycle. This paper reviewed and analyzed Chinese and international research on the action mechanisms of TCM in regulating the Hippo signaling pathway for the prevention and treatment of colorectal cancer with a comprehensive overview presentation， aiming to provide new references and ideas for the clinical application of TCM and the development of new pharmacological agents in the prevention and treatment of colorectal cancer.

ObjectiveTo investigate the mechanism of salt processing of Psoraleae Fructus （PF） through modern analytical techniques and biotechnology， focusing on its effects related to hepatotoxicity and anti-osteoporosis activity. MethodsThe zebrafish model was utilized to evaluate the impact of PF and salt-processed Psoraleae Fructus （SPF） on the hepatotoxicity （using 134.17 ， 178.89， 268.34 mg·L^-1 as low， medium， and high dose groups of PF， 135.04， 180.06， 270.08 mg·L^-1 as low， medium， and high dose groups of SPF， respectively） and anti-osteoporotic activity （using 33.54 ， 67.08 and 134.17 mg·L^-1 as low， medium， and high dose groups of PF， 33.76， 67.52， 135.04 mg·L^-1 as low， medium， and high dose groups of SPF， respectively）， which was using alizarin red skull staining of zebrafish as an indicator of different batches of PF. The specific dosage of a batch of PF was taken as an example. Then ultra-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time of flight-mass spectrometry（UPLC-Q-TOF-MS） analysis was employed to identify the chemical composition of PF before and after salt processing， and PCA， OPLS-DA， and independent sample t-test were used to elucidating the compositional changes associated with the effects of salt processing on hepatotoxicity and anti-osteoporosis activity. ResultsUnder specific conditions， PF induced notable hepatotoxicity in zebrafish while simultaneously demonstrating protective effect against prednisolone-induced osteoporosis. In comparison to PF， SPF showed alleviated hepatotoxicity while retaining significant anti-osteoporosis activity. UPLC-Q-TOF-MS analysis revealed that after salt processing， the overall chemical composition of PF showed a downward trend， with 69 components showing a decrease in content， represented by psoralen， and 13 components showing an increase， represented by 4′-O-methyl psoralen B. Further multivariate statistical analysis revealed 11 key differential components before and after salt processing of PF， including psoralen and bakuchiol. ConclusionSalt processing effectively diminishes hepatotoxicity without impairing therapeutic efficacy against osteoporosis of PF， which may be related to the compositional changes before and after salt processing of PF and provides key evidence to reveal the scientific significance of salt processing of PF.

Therefore， exploring more efficient and safe treatment methods has become an urgent task. The adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase （AMPK） signaling pathway plays a regulatory role in the growth， differentiation， apoptosis， and autophagy of colorectal cancer cells， and is widely involved in the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer. It is considered an important target for colorectal cancer treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in the treatment of colorectal cancer， as it can exert its effects through multiple mechanisms and pathways. It can prevent postoperative recurrence and metastasis， reduce adverse reactions to radiotherapy and chemotherapy， and improve patients' quality of life. It has become a key means of treating colorectal cancer. Research has shown that active ingredients in traditional Chinese medicine such as flavonoids， polyphenols， terpenes， and esters， as well as traditional Chinese medicine compounds such as Qingjie Fuzheng Granules and some traditional Chinese medicine extracts， have significant regulatory effects on AMPK and its interaction signaling pathways. They exert their anti-colorectal cancer effects by inducing autophagy and apoptosis in colorectal cancer cells， promoting ferroptosis， inhibiting epithelial-mesenchymal transition， reversing drug resistance， and arresting the cell cycle. This article reviewed and summarized the relevant research on traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of colorectal cancer in recent years， with a focus on the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine in regulating the AMPK signaling pathway for the treatment of colorectal cancer. It is expected to provide ideas and references for the development of new drugs for clinical anti-colorectal cancer treatment.

Congenital blood group chimerism refers to the coexistence of two or more distinct blood types within an individual, resulting from the presence of hematopoietic cell populations with different genotypes. Consequently, red blood cells in such individuals may express different blood group antigens. Based on the timing and mechanism of formation, blood group chimerism can be classified as either congenital or acquired.
