Objective To investigate the expression of T cell subsets in the spleen of BTBR T+Itpr3tf autistic mouse at 4,8,and 12 weeks of age,and to determine the optimal age for studying the relationship between immune abnormalities and autism in BTBR autistic mice.Methods It randomly selected 5～6 male BTBR mouse at 4 weeks,8 weeks,and 12 weeks of age and C57BL/6J mouse of the same gender at corresponding ages for the three-box social interaction test,the self-grooming test,and the marble-burying test;Single cell suspensions were prepared from the spleens of mouse at 8 and 12 weeks of age,and flow cytometry was used to detect 8 subsets of T cells(TH 1,TH2,TH17,TC1,TC2,TC17,TFH,and Treg).Results Compared with C57BL/6J mouse of the same age,BTBR mouse at 4 weeks,8 weeks,and 12 weeks of age showed a decrease in social time(P＜0.001),an increase in grooming time(P＜0.01,P＜0.001),and an increase in the number of marbles buried(P＜0.01,P＜0.001)in BTBR mouse at 8 weeks and 12 weeks of age.As well,the expression of TH 1(P＜0.001),TH2(P＜0.01),TC 1(P＜0.05),TC2(P＜0.001),and TFH(P＜0.01)cells in 8-week-old BTBR mouse were significantly increased,while the expression of Treg(P＜0.001)cells were significantly decreased;The expression of TH 1(P＜0.01),TH2(P＜0.01),TH 17(P＜0.05),TC1(P＜0.01),TC2(P＜0.001),TC 17(P＜0.01),and TFH(P＜0.001)increased in 12-week-old BTBR mouse,while the expression of Treg(P＜0.05)cells decreased.At different age stages(P＜0.050)the ratio of TH 1/Treg and TC 1/Treg in 8-week-old BTBR mouse were significantly higher than those in 12 week old mouse,while the TC 17/Treg ratio decreased.Conclusions BTBR mouse at different developmental stages exhibit varying degrees of abnormal increase in Teff/Treg ratio.Based on result of behavioral test,it is recommended to use 8-week-old BTBR mice for research on autism and immune abnormalities.

Objective To observe the rehabilitation treatment effect of using a comprehensive quality control model based on ICF concept and PDCA cycle management mode to intervene in stroke recovery patients.Methods The time segmenta-tion method was employed for grouping.A total of 114 stroke patients admitted to the hospital from June 1,2022 to February 28,2023 were selected as the control group,and 109 patients admitted from March 1,2023 to November 1,2023 were chosen as the study group.There was no statistically significant difference in the clinical data of the two groups of patients before treatment.The control group received conventional rehabilitation treatment,while the study group implemented the rehabilitation treatment based on the ICF concept and the PDCA"big loop with small loops"cyclic management mode on the basis of the control group.The basic information of the two groups of patients was compared,and the rehabilitation effects of the patients were comprehensively e-valuated by using the Fugl-Meyer assessment of upper and lower limb functions(with a total of 100 indicators),the Functional Independence Measure(FIM)score of daily activity ability(including 13 motor quality of life indicators and 5 cognitive quality of life indicators),and the satisfaction evaluation.Results After treatment,the scores of upper and lower limb function assess-ment and daily activity ability in both groups were significantly higher than those before treatment.Among them,all the scores of the study group were significantly better than those of the control group(P＜0.01),and the satisfaction of the study group was also significantly improved compared with that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The comprehensive quality control model based on the ICF concept and the PDCA cycle can significantly improve the rehabilitation effects and patient satisfaction of stroke patients in the recovery period.

Objective To explore the effect of task-oriented training of intelligent mirror gloves combined with low-frequency repeti-tive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)on hand function recovery in stroke patients. Methods From October 1st,2022 to June 30th,2023,136 stroke patients in Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital were ran-domly divided into control group,mirror group,rTMS group and combination group,with 34 patients in each group.All the groups received routine rehabilitation treatment.In addition,the mirror group received task-orient-ed training of intelligent mirror gloves,rTMS group received low-frequency rTMS,and the combination group received task-oriented training combined with low-frequency rTMS,for four weeks.The Fugl-Meyer Assess-ment-Upper Extremities(FMA-UE)score,Wolf Motor Function Test(WMFT)score,and surface electromyo-graphic root mean square(RMS)of forearm extensor and flexor muscle groups on the affected/healthy side be-fore and after treatment were compared.And the differences of transcranial magnetic stimulation-motor-evoked potentials(MEP)between rTMS group and combination group before and after treatment were also compared. Results Four cases in the control group,seven in the mirror group,five in rTMS group and six in the combination group dropped off.The intra-group effect(F>996.656,P<0.001),inter-group effect(F>20.333,P<0.001)and inter-action effect(F>72.796,P<0.001)were significant in the scores of FMA-UE and WMFT,and the RMS ratio of forearm extensor and flexor muscle groups among four groups,in which the combination group was the best.After treatment,the amplitude of MEP increased in rTMS group and combination group(|t|>3.842,P<0.05),and was higher in the combination group than in rTMS group(t=-3.060,P<0.01). Conclusion The task-oriented training of intelligent mirror gloves combined with low-frequency rTMS could effectively promote the recovery of hand function in stroke patients.

To explore the mechanism by which vinegar-processed Euphorbiae Pekinensis Radix regulates gut microbiota and reduces intestinal toxicity, this study aimed to identify key microbial communities related to vinegar-induced detoxification and verify their functions. Using a derivatization method, the study measured the content of short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs) in feces before and after vinegar-processing of Euphorbiae Pekinensis Radix. Combined with the results of previous gut microbiota sequencing, correlation analysis was used to identify key microbial communities related to SCFAs content. Through single-bacterium transplantation experiments, the role of key microbial communities in regulating SCFAs metabolism and alleviating the intestinal toxicity of Euphorbiae Pekinensis Radix was clarified. Fecal extracts were then added to a co-culture system of Caco-2 and RAW264.7 cells, and toxicity differences were evaluated using intestinal tight junction proteins and inflammatory factors as indicators. Additionally, the application of a SCFAs receptor blocker helped confirm the role of SCFAs in reducing intestinal toxicity during vinegar-processing of Euphorbiae Pekinensis Radix. The results of this study indicated that vinegar-processing of Euphorbiae Pekinensis Radix improved the decline in SCFAs content caused by the raw material. Correlation analysis revealed that Bifidobacterium was positively correlated with the levels of acetic acid, propionic acid, isobutyric acid, n-butyric acid, isovaleric acid, and n-valeric acid. RESULTS:: from single-bacterium transplantation experiments demonstrated that Bifidobacterium could mitigate the reduction in SCFAs content induced by raw Euphorbiae Pekinensis Radix, enhance the expression of tight junction proteins, and reduce intestinal inflammation. Similarly, cell experiment results confirmed that fecal extracts from Bifidobacterium-transplanted mice alleviated inflammation and increased the expression of tight junction proteins in intestinal epithelial cells. The use of the free fatty acid receptor-2 inhibitor GLPG0974 verified that this improvement effect was related to the SCFAs pathway. This study demonstrates that Bifidobacterium is the key microbial community responsible for reducing intestinal toxicity in vinegar-processed Euphorbiae Pekinensis Radix. Vinegar-processing increases the abundance of Bifidobacterium, elevates the intestinal SCFAs content, inhibits intestinal inflammation, and enhances the expression of tight junction proteins, thereby improving the intestinal toxicity of Euphorbiae Pekinensis Radix.

ObjectiveThis study aimed to analyze the difference in setup error before and after correction of systematic error. To determine the most appropriate image-guided strategy during HT treatment， we use different scanning ranges and image-guidance frequencies in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma （NPC） treated with helical tomotherapy （HT）. MethodsFifteen patients with NPC who received HT treatment in Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center from October 2019 to February 2020 were selected. Megavoltage computed tomography （MVCT） scanning was performed before each treatment. After five times of radiotherapy， system-error correction was performed to adjust the setup center. The setup errors before and after the correction of systematic errors， as well as the setup errors of different scanning ranges and different scanning frequencies， were collected for analysis and comparison. ResultsWhen comparing the setup errors before and after the correction of systematic error， the differences in setup errors in the left–right （LR）， superior–inferior （SI）， and anterior–posterior （AP） directions were statistically significant （P<0.05）.The different scanning ranges of "nasopharynx + neck" and "nasopharynx" were compared， and a statistically significant difference was found in yaw rotational errors （P<0.05）. In the comparison of daily and weekly scan frequency after system-error correction， a significant difference was found in AP direction （P<0.05）. ConclusionDuring radiotherapy for NPC， the systematic error can be corrected according to the first five setup errors， and then small-scale scanning was selected for image-guided radiotherapy every day.

Methods:From December 2018 to February 2019, and from July to September 2019, 348 patients with early-follicular phase downregulation scheme who underwent assisted reproduction and assisted pregnancy in the Reproductive Medicine Center, Renmin Hospital, Hubei University of Medicine were selected as the research objects in this retrospective cohort study. According to PM 2.5 new air quality standard, with 115 μg/m 3 as the cut-off value, the patients were divided into high exposure group ( n=94) and low exposure group ( n=254). During the period from the start of ovulation induction to the pregnancy test day, the activity areas of the patients are in the urban area of Shiyan City. The PM 2.5 of atmospheric fine particles during this period was calculated, including total amount and daily average amount. The effects of fine particulate matter PM 2.5 on ovum abnormality rate, embryo quality (number of available embryos, number of high-quality embryos, high-quality embryo rate, and blastocyst formation rate) and pregnancy outcome (pregnancy rate, abortion rate, live birth rate and proportion of low birth weight infants) were compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with the low exposure group, the number of available embryos (3.9±1.1 vs. 4.3±1.2, P=0.005), the number of high-quality embryos (2.9±1.5 vs. 3.4±1.7, P=0.001), high-quality embryo rate [35.5% (352/992) vs. 40.4% (792/1 959), P=0.009] and proportion of low birth weight infants [21.4% (12/56) vs. 5.13% (8/156), P<0.001] in the high exposure group were significantly decreased, and there was no significant difference in other data. Objective:To explore the effect of combining extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) with electromyographic biofeedback on the motor functioning of children with spastic cerebral palsy.Methods:Fifty children with spastic cerebral palsy (2-7 years old) were randomized into a control group and an experimental group, each of 25. Both groups received routine rehabilitation and electric stimulation therapy with electromyographic biofeedback, while the experimental group was additionally provided with ESWT. Before and after 8 weeks of treatment, integral electromyograms were recorded and the root mean square values of the electromyogram recorded from the tibialis anterior muscle were computed. Lower limb spasticity and motor ability were evaluated by using the Modified Ashworth Scale (MAS), the Modified Tardieu Scale (MTS), and the D and E regions of the Gross Motor Function Measurement Scale (GMFM-88).Results:After the treatment the results of both groups had improved significantly in terms of the surface electromyography of the tibialis anterior muscle, MAS scores, R1 in the MTS and the difference between R2 and R1, and the GMFM-88 regional scores. All of the improvements were significantly greater in the experimental group than in the control group, on average.Conclusions:Combining ESWT with EMG biofeedback can better relieve lower limb spasticity and improve the motor functioning of children with spastic cerebral palsy.
