Objective To explore the efficacy of ¹⁸F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (¹⁸F-FDG PET/CT) in distinguishing the properties of abnormal lymph nodes and its role in assessing the prognosis of patients with related diseases, and to provide more precise evidence for clinical diagnosis and treatment regimen formulation. Methods The clinical data of 97 patients with malignant tumors diagnosed with abnormal lymph nodes at Wuxi People’s Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University between April 2024 and June 2025 were retrospectively analyzed. Patients were divided into a malignant lymph node group (n=47) and a benign lymph node group (n=50) based on pathological results. PET/CT metabolic parameters [maximum standardized uptake value (SUV_max), mean standardized uptake value (SUV_mean), metabolic tumor volume (MTV), and total lesion glycolysis (TLG)] were compared between the two groups of patients. Receiver operating characteristic curves were used to evaluate the diagnostic value of ¹⁸F-FDG PET/CT parameters for abnormal lymph nodes. Progression-free survival was compared among patients in the malignant lymph node group stratified by different levels of SUV_max, SUV_mean, MTV, and TLG. Results SUV_max, SUV_mean, MTV, and TLG were significantly higher in the malignant lymph node group than in the benign lymph node group (P < 0.05). The areas under the receiver operating characteristic curves for predicting malignant lymph nodes with SUV_max, SUV_mean, MTV, and TLG were 0.761, 0.855, 0.860, and 0.792, with sensitivities of 74.47%, 82.98%, 74.47%, and 70.21%, and specificities of 76.00%, 76.00%, 90.00%, and 82.00%, respectively (P < 0.05). Comparison of progression-free survival in patients with malignant lymph nodes with different ¹⁸F-FDG PET/CT parameter levels revealed that patients with lower levels of SUV_max, SUV_mean, MTV, and TLG had significantly longer progression-free survival than those with higher levels (Log-rank χ²=4.297, P=0.038; Log-rank χ²=6.569, P=0.010; Log-rank χ²=5.970, P=0.015; and Log-rank χ²=7.422, P=0.006, respectively). Conclusion ¹⁸F-FDG PET/CT metabolic parameters (SUV_max, SUV_mean, MTV, and TLG) demonstrate high efficacy in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant abnormal lymph nodes and prognostic evaluation, providing significant guidance for clinical treatment decisions.

Objective:To excplore the risk factors for myocardial damage in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and the value of application of resting gated nuclear myocardial imaging.Methods:A total of 64 lupus patients who were hospitalized in Wuxi People′s Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were included, and the patients′ clinical data, imaging data, and test reports were retrospectively analyzed using paired χ2 test, t test, Wilcoxon rank-sum test, Mann-Whitney U test, and binary logistic regression analysis. Results:①Among the 64 patients with lupus, 19(29.7%) had abnormal radionuclide myocardial imaging, 23 (35.9%) had elevated BNP, and 6 (9.4%) had myocardial involvement on echocardiography. There was no statistical difference between radionuclide myocardial imaging and BNP ( Kappa=0.294, P=0.503), but there was a significant difference between radionuclide myocardial imaging and echocardiography ( Kappa=0.394, P<0.001). ②There was no statistical difference in the EF values measured by resting gated myocardial radionuclide imaging and echocardiography [(64.9±9.6)% vs. (63.2±5.6)%, Z=-1.73, P=0.083]. ③Compared with the normal myocardial group, the myocardial damage group had higher BNP value [(912±1729)pg/ml vs. (297±572)pg/ml, t=-3.05, P=0.002], ESR[(56±42)mm/1 h vs. (34±27)mm/1 h, t=-2.17, P=0.030], and SDI scores[2.16±1.30 vs. 1.04±0.85, t=-3.43, P=0.002], more patients with a course of disease≥10 years [57.9% vs. 28.9%, Z=2.17, P=0.030], and anti-U1RNP antibody[52.6% 24.4%, Z=-2.18, P=0.029] and anti-SSB antibody[31.6% vs. 11.1% Z=-1.97, P=0.049] were statistically different. ④Through binary logistic regression analysis, SDI score [ OR ( 95%CI)=2.444 (1.195, 4.998), P=0.014], anti-U1RNP antibody [ OR ( 95%CI)=4.569 (1.036, 20.150), P=0.045] and disease duration≥10 years [ OR ( 95%CI)=5.218 (1.210, 22.496), P=0.027] were independent risk factors for myocardial damage in SLE patients. Conclusion:Resting gated radionuclide myocardial imaging can accurately provide ventricular motion parameters and can detect myocardial damage in SLE patients at early stage. Disease duration ≥10 years, high SDI score, and positive anti-U1RNP antibodies are independent risk factors for myocardial damage in SLE patients.

Objective:To systematically synthesize qualitative research on the role expectations of nursing master student's supervisors to provide a reference for improving supervisor team development and optimizing selection and evaluation systems.Methods:A systematic search was conducted in databases such as Web of Science, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, VIP, and SinoMed for qualitative studies on the role expectations of nursing master student's supervisors. The search was limited to studies published up to October 31, 2023. The quality of the included studies was evaluated using the Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Checklist for Qualitative Research. Meta-integration was employed to synthesize the results.Results:A total of nine studies were included, yielding 39 research findings, which were further categorized into eight new categories. These were integrated into three main themes: expectations of supervisors' comprehensive qualities, clear role positioning and exemplification, and respecting and meeting students' developmental needs.Conclusions:Educational institutions and policymakers involved in graduate education should fully understand the multi-dimensional role expectations of stakeholders regarding nursing master student's supervisors. This understanding is crucial for strengthening the development of the supervisor team, improving selection and evaluation systems, and supporting the training of advanced nursing professionals.

Objective: To compare the relative renal function (RRF) evaluated by ⁹⁹Tc^m-dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA) and ⁹⁹Tc^m-diethylene triamine pentaacetic acid (DTPA) imaging in children with acute urinary tract infection (UTI). Methods: A total of 69 children (29 males, 40 females, age: (45±38) months; duration of disease: <6 months) with acute UTI diagnosed clinically in Wuxi People′s Hospital from January 2017 to June 2019 were enrolled retrospectively. All children underwent ⁹⁹Tc^m-DMSA renal static imaging and ⁹⁹Tc^m-DTPA renal dynamic imaging, and the regions of interest (ROI) were drawn manually to calculate the RRF of the right and left kidneys. The consistency of RRF evaluated by the two imaging methods was analyzed by Bland-Altman analysis, the correlation was analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis, and the difference was compared by the independent-sample t test. Results: The values of RRF measured with ⁹⁹Tc^m-DMSA and ⁹⁹Tc^m-DTPA were (52.27±14.53)% and (52.22±14.14)% for the left kidney (t=0.913, P>0.05), those for the right kidney were (47.73±14.53)% and (47.78±14.14)% (t=0.913, P>0.05), respectively. A significant positive correlation was found between the RRF measured with the two imaging methods both for left and right kidneys (r values: 0.959, 0.959; both P<0.01). Bland-Altman analysis showed that the average difference of RRF measured with the two imaging methods for left kidney was 0.1% and the 95% limits of agreement (LoA) was from -8.0% to 8.1%, those for right kidney were -0.1% and from -8.1% to 8.0%. Conclusions There is a good correlation between RRF measured with ⁹⁹Tc^m-DMSA renal static imaging and that measured with ⁹⁹Tc^m-DTPA renal dynamic imaging in children with acute UTI. Both imaging methods can be used to evaluate the RRF in children with acute UTI.

Objective To establish a novel TRFIA for the measurement of heparanase (HPA) in serum samples,and investigate its clinical application.Methods The micro-pore plate wells were first coated with partially recombinant murine anti-human HPA monoclonal antibody.Biotin-labeled recombinant HPA protein was then used to compete with HPA in serum samples,and the prepared europium (III)-labeled streptavidin (Eu3+-SA) was used as signal readout for establishing the BSA-TRFIA assay.Using this assay,the serum HPA levels in healthy subjects (n=32) and tumor patients (n=54) were measured.The results of BSA-TRFIA were compared with those of ELISA.Two-sample t test (or t' test),and linear correlation analysis were used to analyze the data.Results The sensitivity of BSA-TRFIA for measuring HPA was 0.33 ug/L.The CV values for intra-batch and inter-batch were 5.29% and 7.54%,respectively.The average recovery rate was 105.5%.The standard curve range was 0-1 000 ug/L.The serum HPA level measured by the BSA-TRFIA method in healthy subjects was (2.03_+ 1.47) Iug/L.In tumor patients,the HPA level was significantly higher:(22.13_+7.38) ug/L (t'=19.388,P

Objective To evaluate the value of 99Tcm-MDP uptake by left femoral neck for diagnosing osteopomsis.Methods A total of 58 cases (23 males,35 females,mean age:(66.15±8.45) years) with spondyloarthmpathies from May to December of 2012 were selected.Serum concentrations of type Ⅰ collagen telopeptide (sCTX-1) and bone ALP (BALP) were determined.All patients underwent dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) to detect bone mineral density (BMD).According to the T scores,patients were divided into 2 groups:normal group (NG) (T＞-1.0) and osteoporosis group (OG) (T≤-2.5).99TcmMDP bone scan was further performed.The average radioactive ratio of the left femoral neck to the medial soft tissue of left femur (T/N) was measured.Data differences between the 2 groups were compared by twosample t test and Pearson correlation analysis.Results According to BMD,13 patients (7 males,6 females) were included in NG and 28 patients (10 males,18 females) were included in OG.The mean ages of OG and NG were significantly different ((68.82± 10.41) years vs (62.46± 11.77) years; t =3.560,P＜0.05).The BMD of left femoral neck in OG was significantly lower than that in NG ((0.67±0.08) g/cm2 vs (0.91±0.10) g/cm2 ; t=9.917,P＜0.01).Although BALP level of OG was significantly higher than that of NG ((35.92±11.58) U/L vs (22.38±6.34) U/L; t=-3.397,P＜0.05),no significant difference was observed on sCTX-1 between the 2 groups (t=-0.463,P＞0.05).T/N ratio of OG (11.63±6.22) was higher than that of NG (9.74±4.44) (t =-3.027,P＜ 0.05).There were significant correlations between the T/N ratio of the left femoral neck and the sCTX-1 and BALP concentrations (r=0.376,0.483,both P＜0.01).No correlations between the T/N ratio of the left femoral neck and age,BMI and BMD were observed (r=-2.031,-0.017,0.134,all P＞0.05).Conclusion The uptake ratio of the left femoral neck in 99Tcm-MDP bone scan could evaluate the metabolism of bone,and it is useful for the early diagnosis of osteoporosis.
